This is the app you're looking for: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spycorp.appvolumecontrol
Free version has a limit to 5 or 10 apps or something but the customisation is great, you can specify volumes when you open the app and restore it when you close it.
App volume control easily one of my must install apps. You can set independent volume to any app. No more fumbling over the volume button in public places or during the night next to the sleeping mrs.
Some resources are saying it's not possible to have a complete working volume mixer on Android, while a lot of people suggest App Volume Level and SoundAssistant that are sadly not working as I want them to (I wasn't trying to fix it tbh). You should give it a try.
Not sure if this will help you? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spycorp.appvolumecontrol
>Per it's page, It's not possible to have a background app and a foreground app with different volumes, this is an Android limitation.
You could do it with Tasker or maybe this app App Volume Control, so when the Echo Auto app is opened, you can set a specific ringtone volume to lower automatically.

I think I get what you're saying- assuming muting the game isn't in the cards, you may be able to use an app like this to adjust volume on a by-app basis.
Absolutely not possible. The closest is something like This which can only detect when you switch apps and change the global volume levels - and you can see all the bad reviews from people not understanding that it isn't possible for it to have two apps with different levels at the same time.
Android as well, but can't repro, sorry.
I would recommend using an app like App Volume Control if this persists ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spycorp.appvolumecontrol&hl=en_US&gl=US ). It will allow you to control each app's volume individually.
This one may or not be good but I just searched "per app volume contro.l" Find one you like that is good.
Good luck.
Yes, there is an app called App Volume Control. I think this app fulfills your requirements. I never used this app though. It has both free and paid versions. The link for the free version of the app is down below.
This is what I've used in past and it did work well then, but now it has very bad ratings on play store so you can try b'cos I don't know if it would work or not.
App Volume Control allows one to set the volume for individual apps. It also allows the toggle based on headphones, speaker, BT etc.
I found an "App Volume Control" by Spycorp here:

Unfortunately that page says "It's not possible to have a background app and a foreground app with different volumes, this is an Android limitation." So it may not be possible to do what I am trying to do. I wanted the background app that plays music to run at a different volume than the foreground app.
From a comment of a developer of an app that partially do what you want to do:
It's not possible to have a background app and a foreground app with different volumes, this is an Android limitation.

Check out App Volume Control. Allows you to set default volumes per app and adjust all sorts of settings (e.g. separate setting for Bluetooth, return to previous volume on app close, includes installed and system apps).
If you are on Android, try this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spycorp.appvolumecontrol
(of of course the paid version)
I don't know if there are any ad-free free alternatives.
App Volume Control, it sets the volume of an app to a predefined level as soon as it's open. It then goes back to default settings after exiting the app
App Volume Control allows you to at least set a default volume for YouTube, or any other app. I use it so the few apps I need that have full screen video ads don't nearly knock me out of my seat with sound and wake up my SO.
I've never used it, but I had found this before and added it to my wishlist. If you use it, let me know what you think! - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spycorp.appvolumecontrol
Linkme: App Volume Control might just be what you're looking for.
Edit: Linkbot Fail.
For Android, try this.

You can control app volumes separately when they start and stop
That's true. Missed the flair earlier.
App Volume Control should fit the bill - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spycorp.appvolumecontrol
