/u/Marques-Brownlee and /u/Goaty_Malone,
I used Today Calender after seeing it years ago in one of your videos. I also got the loading bug and switched to Calender Widget by +1Labs. It took me a few minutes to tweak but it looks very good.
Just ditched my agenda widget for this one today.

Very customizable and much more information density that your screenshots. Any pics of the compact mode? Any reason to switch from this free widget to your $2.50 widget?
Btw, I will instabuy any widget that allows scrolling to be disabled. Always interferes with my screen gestures on all widgets
Calendar Widget by +1 Labs does that well, also open source and available on Fdroid. Here is the Google play link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.plusonelabs.calendar
I'm also using Calendar Notify which offers a widget too, but it's main purpose is displaying a notification with your next calendar events. You can set it to only display the notification when the phone is locked - useful if your phone is showing notifications on the lock screen. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cliffcawley.calendarnotify
You're going to have to send /u/sollytude a message.
The one on the right looks like Calendar Widget. I use it on my homescreen.

Calendar Widget, open source with dark theme support and good information density

Edit: added url as linkme bot pulled in another app
I use Today for my normal calendar, but I realized I needed a separate app if I wanted a widget with only the GDQ runs. I tried a couple and settled on Calendar Widget which allows me to make it as minimalistic as possible.
Here's a pic (it's on the second page)
Honestly, I just use Google Calendar.

That's my homescreen. The 2nd link is of that calendar app. So far it's been okay. I have been using my calender as a pseudo task manager. I wouldn't mind a planner type thing, but I also like to keep everything on 1 screen. My app drawer is also on one screen. If there was a planner type thing that also added my calendar, then I would probably use that. For now, I like the look and it's been working out okay.
I use Calendar Widget, and it's very similar. I prefer it because the information is more compact. Even on the smallest settings, Today Calendar's widgets are still too spread out.
Calender Widget!! It's very simple and customizable. There's no ads or paid themes or any other BS.

As an Agenda widget, I use Calendar Widget: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.plusonelabs.calendar&hl=en
It's free, no ads etc and very customisable.
It is only an agenda widget though.
My setup on my Nexus 4 running CM 12.1 with Nova Launcher Prime for resizing/customization:
All screens are 5x5 + dock.
Left home screen: full screen Google Now widget
Center (main) home screen:
1x5 Weather widget from Google's News & Weather app (dark theme widget; just weather, no news)
3x5 Calendar widget (agenda view) from the open source Calendar Widget app
1x5 row of 5 folders/apps
Right home screen:
Apps, and folders of apps, which are not worthy of the main home screen folders.

I got it because I could resize it the way I'd like, which other calendar widgets I've seen don't allow. There are other customization options as well.
EDIT: By stock, I meant stock launcher. I'm not savvy enough for launchers, rooting, etc..
Maybe not what you're looking for, but I use Calendar Widget.

It has an agenda-like widget that is very customizable in size and look. It has a very low-key look. It pulls from my google calendar.
Free, open source, and the best calendar widget I've come across.
Here's mine at the moment, still playing around with my left sidebar, but it's functional for now!.
Just using Nova & Zooper for pretty much everything, apart from calendar widget
And for a flashback, here is my Nexus 4 layout from March 2013!
Try Calendar Widget, also open source
