For Bluetooth calls, it worked perfectly with my rooted phone, but not with stock ROM. I haven't tried this again in a while.

There customer service is pretty good. If you email them they will probably tell you if it will work.
If you call in to your voicemail and are on an Android device you can use Total Recall to record any call from your phone. It saves an mp3 on your device which you can copy and edit as necessary on your computer.
That's usually a function of the hardware driver, which sounds like it must have updated with a version that wasn't compatible with your app. Posting your handset model and android version would likely help determine what might work for you.
I use Total Recall myself, works a treat on my rooted Samsung Note 3
Nexus require root for every android call recorder. No one call recorder can't work because api was not allow to record the calls.

I had a very similar situation a while back. I used this app to record my calls to/from Comcast.
I did some quick google'ing at the time and reading that Georgia was a one party consent state assumed I'd have no issues with record as I was consenting to it. I never had any repercussions come from the recordings or playing them back to Comcast. That said, even with recorded evidence, they still would not give. I ended up having to file complaints with FCC, BBB, and the GA Secretary of State to get my issue resolved (Summarized in the first link).
For what it's worth, once I got my Comcast issue resolved, I switched to AT&T and haven't had any issues since.

In 16.0 the built-in LineageOS Call recording feature is enabled if it's legal in your country which depends on your SIM's MCC country code. It does not record all calls automatically.
