1) How does this stacks up against GSam Battery Monitor Pro?
2) The dev was unresponsive over email and reddit.
3) Steep sale price from what it was last time as well.
I use Gsam battery monitor and have given it battery permossions via adb without root needed.

How to give it permissions via adb on a computer. https://plus.google.com/+GeorgeTanner/posts/gT5f7XntmEu
GSam and enable through adb may help you track down why it's behaving like this...

Don't look at others as there usage is going to be different. All depends on what apps you use etc. Download Gsam to see what is draining you phone https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gsamlabs.bbm.pro use ADB commands to access all features. I get about 5hrs SOT but im a hard user.
It's a battery monitoring app that gives stats. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gsamlabs.bbm.pro
There is a free one too
Apk is just the Android app install file. I used to get into rooting and custom ROMs but I haven't done that for about two years since rooting prevents you from using Android Pay. Best tip I can give is watch some YouTube videos of these things happening to learn
I hate the fact that you can't get a good battery pecentage number in the top bar. One less than ideal solution I've found is to install GSam Battery Monitor:

It's a good all around battery monitor, but I really like it because you can have it add a persistent notification with battery stats and configure it to show a nice percentage icon in the top bar. I took a quick snap of what it looks like (in the top bar on the left side):
GSam Battery Monitor. You just need to connect to your PC to run an ADB command once.
Shit. I just closed the tab with an awesome response. Let me try again.
It's the green bar, orange is the temp. So as the battery level rises and time on the charger rises, so does the heat. All this was from the Gsam battery app. I'm using the Nokia DT-900 that was $5 on sale at the time. Little suggestion there- because of the price, I'd get one of these because they all charge at the same rate and both have 3 coils. The reasoning with the 3 coils is because the Nexus 6 is really picky with the placement and using a single coil one is a real pain. Now from that you may be wondering how well the cheap ones perform... here's a great writeup about that but basically all the same. Now as far as the heat and lining it up correctly goes- based on the physics involved, it's impossible to disagree but from usage, I've seen consistent results around 110°F regardless of placement. Does that affect the battery? Not sure, in fact I'm not sure anyone knows but I have a Nexus 5 that I used Qi charging on for over a year and I still get 2-3 hours SOT at max brightness.
Hope this helps. I think my original response was better, but oh well.
I personally don't have a battery drain problem on the S20, battery feels the same amount pre-One UI 2.5, maybe even better.
I've never used AccuBattery before and don't understand it's features. But you should try out GSam, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gsamlabs.bbm.pro&hl=en_US give it adb permissions and you can see much more in detail on what app is actually draining your battery life.
https://imgur.com/a/6go1CBe screenshots of GSam and proof. Currently on 4h SOT (could be more but I had a OTA update last night).
I haven't used it in a while, but I think GSam Battery Monitor does this, IIRC.
Im not sure but if you cant find a way i would recommend GSam https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gsamlabs.bbm.pro
Install GSam Battery Monitor to identify which app is consuming your battery.
