I use this on my computer desk at home. Have a Samsung branded one by my bed. The Samsung charges faster, but only because it's 15W rated and this is 10W. Otherwise there's no functional difference. My wife has a 3rd party wireless charger by her bed for her S10. No problems.
I'm sure there are unsafe wireless chargers out there made with poor quality components, but it's not inherently unsafe to use a 3rd party charger.
I'd recommend a USB splitter like this.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0882Y5RWG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_K5YEEQP8RRCAMM7P17RK
You still have to use your USB C to aux dongle but this will work for you.
If you do not want to have to use the dongle as well and just have 1 single dongle I would recommend the jsaux headphone charger adapter.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08B38C3G8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_DMFGPNQ1CN97J2ABFTX4
I wouldn't really recommend one of these though because you're probably going to end up with some interference from the DAC and the power being on the same small microchip.
There have been tons of S20 cases for sale on Amazon weeks prior to the S20 release. This Spigen case is only 10 bucks. Might want to grab one while your phone is out for repair.
I think one idea that that doesn't get discussed enough with iOS updates is that Apple chooses which features will appear on which phone and not every feature will appear on every phone that is receiving the latest update.
https://www.apple.com/ios/ios-14-preview/features/
In the footnotes there is a list of which phones will receive that feature.
Found the app from the video: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lvonasek.tofviewer&hl=en_US
This is actually really fucking cool. Thanks for sharing OP.

I have the SD variant and I upped my battery life amazingly by:
Using Package Disabler Pro to debloat all the crap I don't use - it's pretty handy, it also has a debloat list of things that it reccommends that you disable if you don't know what you're doing
Turning off 5G - I live in an area where 5G doesn't work, so I figured I might as well turn it off.
man that's way too expensive. i got this one for $14 on Amazon & it does super fast charging
This is the app. So basically Install YouTube Vanced and follow through Settings>Vanced Settings>Video Settings>Max Resolution. The app will restart and you'll notice 1440p and 2160p options appear in videos that are filmed in 4k(Even if display resolution is set to 1080p 120hz). The problem I'm having is with the default play back. Have set preferred quality over wifi to 1440p but it always defaults to 2160p in supported videos.
Also the reason why u only see volte now has to do with ur carrier. Volte/wificalling is something our respective carriers manually unlocks for device models.
If u want downgrade back to LTE only. Use this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ray.samsungbandselection
This app should help narrow down what app is throwing the toast message: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pl.revanmj.toastsource&hl=en_US&gl=US
It may not specifically identify what app though, depending on where the toast comes from.
You might be able to find it in this app of Google Earth wallpapers. But you may need to search for it. The app features 1000s of images https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.github.p1va.earthviewwallpaper
If you want a non-glass one this one worked pretty well for me - although it was cut a tad wonky.
I looked everywhere for a glass one and was very reluctant to buy the whitestone dome (glass) one as its so expensive - but I've had it on for a week now and had no problems + the fingerprint reader works perfectly for me - installation was scary though.
Edit: I just re-read your question, and I have no idea if they'll work with that particular cover
*if everything not working, install carrier services from play store and repeat step 2 - 4
I use Hex Installer, and this theme.

I had the Tozo one and it wasn't working right. I replaced mine with these (the stand up one for my desk, the flat one for the night stand). Both work great.
I think the Encased Rebel Armour is my favourite, comes in purple and black, here's a Amazon link:
I use this to block the notification. I beleive you can get it from mobilism

One of you Albums most likely features "Taylor Swift" as the "Album Artist" which would then cause it to separate those tracks out. I highly recommend this Audio Tagger
If it's a privacy issue, there's an app for that. Instead of covering your camera, said app pops up an indicator whenever your cameras or microphone is being accessed/used. Access Dots.
No downsides that I can think of. The smart chip in the cord does all the voltage and power regulating on its own.
I replaced my basic power brick with https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B082SV4J38/ as well.
You won't damage anything in your phone from using these cords or the charger brick. They're just 3rd party devices that work as well, if not better than the ones that come with the phone. They are just less expensive.
Highly recommend Schnail Saviour case. It has a metal frame and clear plastic back wrapped with a really durable and tight fitting TPU. It also has a bottom speaker redirect towards the front which adds a real stereo sound. Hands down one of the best cases I've used to date, due to manageable slim but rugged aesthetics. The bottom speaker redirect seemed gimmicky, but it really is game-changer in cases. Here's a link:

I bought a cheapo usb-c adaptor and it works with my old skull candy headphones - circa 2012. Maybe you got a bad adaptor? Or if you bought on Amazon, maybe you got a fake. One I bought:

latest update from Samsung broke this for me. any fixes?
Thanks! I'm using the Linebit Light icon pack. I'm guessing by grouping of icons you are talking about the translucent square? I made it using KLWP which is a custom live wallpaper maker so that square is actually part of my wallpaper.
Since I switched to Android 2 years ago, I've been using Retro Music Player which has been great since day 0 honestly. I highly recommend it.
Yeah. Mentioned this before to some guy who refuses to believe.
CPU monitor does a better job. At least that one actually gives the exact same reading as PerfZ (Samsung's own tool for monitoring temp). I mean PerfZ links to the software that Samsung uses to determine when to throttle your phone or not. That would make it seem more reliable.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glgjing.stark
Try using GSAM with ADB permissions. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gsamlabs.bbm&hl=en Also give it the optional permissions for even more details. Restart the phone after giving the permissions.
Charge it to 100%, unplug and go to sleep.
In the morning you'll be able to see exactly which app was using the battery.
I used this app to get a simple file of all the apps I had installed - my app list: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.projectsexception.myapplist
I had to install them one by one because I specifically didn't want any automatic full restore (and it actually made me think about "do I really need/want this?" I literally halved my number of apps doing this), this helps make that a lot less painful by a) giving you a list of apps to install b) giving you direct links to the play store for each one.
With photos, as long as you're using Google Photos or OneDrive or something to back them up, you'll still have them (or access to them at least, they won't be stored locally) after a reset.
My advice, from someone who was almost too lazy to bother myself: just do it, might as well do it now why the phone is brand new and you haven't settled into it fully yet. It'll only get worse the longer you wait. If you're lucky, like me, you'll see a big improvement in battery life and you'll be so glad you wasted the few hours setting it all up again now.
This particular method can be dangerous if done wrong on certain apps. It's also a pain the butt. A much easier and safer method is to use Package Disabler Pro (Samsung) from the Playstore. Also your title is misleading, neither method "Uninstalls" the app they just disable it so you don't see it and it's not using any resources.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kinder.pksafety&hl=en_US
The bxActions developer created a similar app for the Note 10+ called sideActions that lets you remap the power, volume, and S Pen buttons. Since the Note 10+ has the same button configuration as the S20 (programmable "side" button and volume buttons), I would imagine this app will work for the S20 as well.
I have the S10 and the TPU film screen protectors have always worked for me despite making the display ugly and sticky. Finally found a cheap glass protector and it works fine 4/5 times first try, I could probably make it better with more fingerprints added but I'm lazy
Good idea, I just contacted them via their website.
I'm not sure what caused the damage maybe their support could shed some light on what I might be doing wrong.
The case I have is this one and it is a good distance away from the screen protector so I don't think that is causing any issues.
Grab something like this.
Whitestone is the big brand, but they're expensive. AmFilm is the runner up, coming in at about $10-$15 less. The one I listed is about $20 less, but you can find variants for $12. The difference comes from the cheaper packs don't have alignment trays to help you put on the glass, which isn't nearly as big of an issue as I thought it would be.
I've flipped between Whitestone on the high end and some $10 one on the low end with the past few months, and I wish I just started with the cheap ones personally. They all do the same thing. Just make sure that when you do the install, apply some pressure around the fingerprint sensor area to thin the glue out a bit. Use your thumb or use something weighty like a socket from a socket wrench.
That makes it easier to register and use the fingerprint sensor.
Awesome! There are some really good cheap ones too. If you're looking for minimalistic, I recommend this one. But it was a bit too minimalistic for me. I'm constantly paranoid I'm going to drop it so I upgraded to a beefier one.
Good luck, friend.
Just got this one today in the mail. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0869BX44Y?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Read a lot of reviews and am very happy with my choice. The stand is good quality. It has a height adjustment on the center pole, and 3 different adjustments on each leg, it can stand about 6 ft tall. Comes with the mount with universal screw, and the phone mount attaches to that. The phone mount is pretty nice too. Tripod also comes with the adjust/pan handle. The phone mount is Big enough to fit the S20 Ultra. It can rotate in all directions, and comes with a built in level. Comes with the blue tooth remote which is compatible with the S20 ultra. Also comes with a carrying bag. Highly recommend, although limited use so far.
Here is the amFilm glass screen protector on Amazon canada .
I tried looking on eBay to find a similar cheaper version (after all it's just glass and a UV glue -like for nail polish), but cheap versions I found never had the hole cut out for the front camera. And I was not going to throw glue on my new 15000$ phone camera!
I picked up this one from Amazon for the protection. Decent price and I like the kickstand. I grabbed a Spigen slim fit for more formal occasions though. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083H34PNK/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apa_i_3CbwEb650P14P
https://thenextweb.com/plugged/2020/02/17/the-s20-ultra-has-the-best-screen-of-any-phone-ever-heres-how-displaymate-measured-it/ you could be just use to those colors or you also could have a faulty dislpay.
If you haven't already gotten some, these screen protectors are top notch!
REFUN 3-pack Screen protectors
I've got 2 S20's (one for work too) and these have been the best out of the others I've tried. The edges stay down and they seem to self heal fairly well too. The only caveat with mine that may have helped (or maybe has nothing to do with it! lol) is that I work from home. So I installed one and pretty much didn't do much with my phone for about 24 hours, other than check for text messages, etc., to let it settle onto the screen. Necessary? I dunno, but that's just what I did. You could be fine just installing it and letting it sit for an hour or two. But anyways, great screen protector!
RavPower is a reputable brand, yes. 65W brick is overkill since you the phone will only accept up to 45W. Not sure what you mean by "does that mean just s20 plus the hell? "
Either way, you reminded that I needed another USB-C power brick so I ordered one.
This is the brick I just bought and arrives sometime tonight
And this is the cable I already have.
I'll let you know how it works out for me. If I haven't updated this within 48 hours, just ping me :)
Do not listen to the person who said "use any 20W charger".
There are a few charging standards that our phone supports:
charging Old school USB, listed as like 1 Amp or 2 Amp or something. Always 5V. So like 10W max. The last resort.
Fast charging* Technically this is called USB-C PD (power delivery). This allows for multiple voltages, 5V, 9V 12V, all at up to 2 Amp. These phones can use 9V at about 1.8A, so 15W charging.
Super fast charging Technically, this is USB PD PPS , and allows for continuously variable voltage from the charger. Will get you phone going with 25W.
My favorite choices for these are the Anker Nano II line for single-outlet chargers (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08T5QVTKW ) or the Minix Neo P3 for a multi-outlet charger ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09JKJ1QRJ )
ArmorSuit MilitaryShield Screen... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B084R92LBQ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I've been through three of them, the sides tend to lift... But with an OtterBox defender case it's not a big deal as the case prevents further lift
Definitely go for the regular S20 Snapdragon! The S21 & S22 both lack SD card slots and have less RAM amongst other things. And for screen protectors, I can highly recommend these:
REFUN S20 5G Screen Protectors
The camera is great compared to the S10 and this thing is just fast too. You won't be disappointed with this phone if you pick one up.
I've had my unlocked S20 (SD) for 2.5 years now. No issues with it whatsoever *knock on wood*. Just recently removed the factory screen protector lol and only because it was starting to look really bad. Screen was still perfect underneath though. Everything about this phone is still fast. I took some awesome night photos on a trip recently that people were raving about. Running with 12GB RAM, 512gb SD card (for now .... might move to 1tb when those prices come down more) .... fingerprint reader got a little finicky with the new screen protector, but re-registered and it works just fine. There is literally nothing wrong with this phone!
No reason to upgrade anytime soon, as it looks like they are skimping on specs and pushing people towards the cloud (no thank you!). I have my own personal "cloud" at home and will start syncing all of my photos there soon.
Also bought an unlocked spare to use for work (testing mobile apps for now) off of Amazon. Seller had a glass screen protector on it which didn't work with the case I got for it. Took that off and discovered the screen had all kinds of micro scratches all over it. Naturally outside of the return window, so I left a bad review instead. Put a new screen protector on and it looks and works just fine also. So between the two of these, not planning on any kind of upgrade anytime soon because it's just not worth it. No SD card slots is a deal breaker.
Oh and if you are wondering about screen protectors or need any, these are pretty fantastic! Didn't work with one of the cases I have, but perfect for the other 2 I use regularly on both phones.
i had a simcard extendor tool (something like this) and would tuck it inside the phone case for my s7 few years ago, it worked. Most of the methods involve glue or literally melting sim card and sd card together, still risky with your double side tape thing, simcard can get stuck inside, i have seen such posts before.
I use an adapter that lets me charge and use headphones at same time. Link
I recommend you using Light Photo Frame Widget. It is probably the best photo widget for Android Devices
I've had my S20+ since release date and have dropped it more times than I can count... I use and recommend this case https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZS4R3YT/
And no i don't work for Incipio or get a commission. I just think it's a great minimalist case.
try making sure this is up to date as well. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.ims&hl=en_US&gl=US
and if it is consider joining the beta. sometimes this can help fix the issue too
Not a cover, but I've been rocking this case on my S20 since 2020-- slim and matte. Maybe there's an equivalent for the plus that you might like?
https://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Thin-Designed-Samsung-Galaxy/dp/B082LXR5VX
This case. Its slim but definitely sturdy. Has a nice feel in the hands and an added kickstand
I got the "LK" branded ones for my S22+, 90% of the time works just fine after a reset of the finger setup process. Seems when my hands are really clean, doesn't work as well. Link: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B09N3P7NYZ/
Go on Amazon. Get a magnetic phone case (they exist) for ~$20. The one I bought has a little wallet that attaches to the case. The phone can be stuck to any metal surface, and the case sticks to those vent covers. If they haven't made s22 cases like this, they should drop any day now. Here is the case I bought for my 21 ultra: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08T7FH53H?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Yeah, I guess that's what I get for enabling dynamic wallpaper. I've been fighting over every megabyte for months now, delayed a full factory reset. Samsung's built-in tools don't report that as an app taking up space (I guess it's filtered out of the app list because it's a "system service"), the total just shows up under the "apps" category but nothing more detailed. I finally found DiskUsage which showed the issue almost instantly.
Thats better than my new wifi and my 5G...what, is this sarcasm? Btw the link for 5G is from.Tmobile coverage through Sprint. 5G, which is pretty good imo. better than 1mbps from LTE.
I'd say that I am not enjoying it as much... Alot of unoptimization with apps and the network isn't working as it's supposed to.. unsure how to explain it but here are some things happening..
Apps like WhatsApp are failing to do backups and also struggling to get messages
Apps like NordVPN sometimes fail to open and only show a grey-like screen with nothing to interact with (restart fixes this)
I don't know if others experience this but honestly the update doesn't change anything from last version apart from these new problems I am facing.
Why not use this Bluetooth adapter for your vehicle instead of a 3.5mm cable. That will free up the phone USB port to be used solely for charging. And you will have way better audio quality and everything else that comes with Bluetooth, even if your vehicle does not support Bluetooth.
https://www.amazon.com/COMSOON-Headphones-Connection-Cancelling-Streaming-Black/dp/B096VJY7KW
I am always surprised people are still using Aux cables to their phones.
Something like this would work
NIMASO USB C to 3.5 mm Jack Adapter, Typc C to 3.5mm Aux Headphone Adapter Hi-Res DAC Chip PD 60W Fast Charging For Sumsung S20/S20 Ultra/Note20,Huawei P40/P30/P20 Pro,Google Pixel 4XL,Xiaomi 6/8 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08KVY9NLV/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_662BPV8GPYQ76M8D93SQ
It's great. It's super thin and perfectly applied. I've been hunting for a reasonable replacement and tried a few. These are my favorite so far: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08317PKZS/ they come closest to the one that was installed by Samsung in terms of thinness. They're only 10 bucks, and you get 2 + a "practice" one in the package. They're not the easiest to get installed, but if you're careful, they're amazing. Also note: I had a few little bubbles and was worried that I'd have to live with them forever, but over a day or two, they disappeared and now I'm good to go.
Hi. Thanks for your answer. Unfortunately Good lock is not available in Austria. I find these enormous app icons hideous and they are taking a lot of space. As if I'm an old person who cannot see!!!!
The app I'm using for indicating the battery:battery indicators
Like others have said non. You have Google Play Protect installed that automatically scans apps and sites for known malicious apps or scripts. As long as you dont go trying to download ripped or cracked apps than you will be fine.
Yeah that'll be there with any app-based blocker.
Only way to not have notifications is use the DNS method and just use a DNS blocker.
For the DNS method with no notifications go into settings and search Private DNS.
Then set it to their servers here:
https://adguard.com/en/adguard-dns/overview.html
The main advantage of app based blocker is you can whitelist things or certain sites like Slickdeals break.
It's an excellent value phone compared to the flagships, however make sure you get one with a Snapdragon processor, not Exynos. The Exynos chips suffer from poor battery life and overheating.
Keep in mind these phones had a screen defect when they were first released, so be weary of buying second-hand as they may be trying to get rid of a faulty model.
The defect doesn't ruin functionality, it just leads to input skipping in fast swipes (skipping as in a dotted line rather than continuous), Here is the result of my fully-updated phone from the "Touch Screen Test" app. For me, the phone still works perfectly fine so I haven't bothered getting it fixed under warranty. Also I've heard that for some people it causes occasional ghost touches.
So my advice would be if you're buying second-hand in person, ask if you can install and test the Touch Screen Test beforehand. If you're buying brand new it's not something to worry about, there's a 99% chance you'll get stock from a revised batch.
The one other potential downside is that the S20 FE uses an optical fingerprint sensor. It's a bit less accurate than the S20's ultrasonic sensor, and some people complain of often needing to scan multiple times before unlocking their phone. However in my experience, it's just a fickle process of getting a solid initial registration of the fingerprint. Apply lots of pressure, roll your finger around on all edges, etc. And you should still have a flawless unlocking experience.
Also if you want to unlock and root your phone, steer clear of US Carrier-locked Snapdragon models, as it is currently impossible to unlock them.
Conclusion: overall still a great phone, just be weary of A) Exynos chips, B) Old stock with defective screens
This is why I created this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ray.waterresistancetester
It will let you know whether your water resistance seals are still good or whether it needs repairing, etc.
Now obviously this has to be done prior to any particular accident or risky situation
Be aware that even though many operators have started to offer 5G service, the coverage is still very limited, meaning many areas even in big cities still won't have access to a stable 5G network connection.
Not sure how accurate this map is, but it should show which cities have started to get 5G access worldwide: https://www.nperf.com/en/map/5g
To everyone who doesn't bother to google, Utah, where OP lives, doesn't have 5G services by Sprint. It's only in 9 cities and None of those cities are in Utah.
True Mobile 5G is now available in areas of Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, New York City, Phoenix, and Washington, D.C. True Mobile 5G service covers more than 20 million people across 9 cities.
Tmobiles 5G access isn't available to Sprint users yet either.
OP's phone is may be showing 5G signal, but it's incorrect.
Even this shows there isn't 5G in the area yet. https://www.nperf.com/en/map/US/5780993.Salt-Lake-City/85.T-Mobile/signal/
I'm all for showing flaws of something, but lets not let fake shit make headway.
I've been using Dashlane for a couple of years. Nice interface, place to store files (IDs and such), and seems to be pretty solid in terms of autofill on the different platforms. However, I am thinking of giving Bitwarden a try when my subscription is up.
Try a private DNS. Personally, I chose NextDNS.io because of how versatile it is. You can subscribe to multiple lists, view DNS logs, white list certain domains, etc. I was able to use the free limit for my cell phone but eventually started to go over (in which case it turns into a normal DNS with no blocking for the remainder of the month). I chose to get the paid version and use it for my home router so that all devices on my wifi are assigned it.

the one I just got recently. The back is clear too. So far haven't had a problem, even after dropping my phone on concrete at work.
I recently got the Anker 25w charger and so far it works great. It is one of the few plugs that I found that can do Samsung's "super fast charging". Here is an Amazon link for it, it's only $17 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08XQRCPG4/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_ET89WMFWAGAA6W6F4NV4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

This is the one I use for my S20+ since day one and I like the touch and feeling of it. It has a nice grip and doesn't feel too bulky (at list to me, who is used to have Spigen tough armor cases before)
Spigen rugged armor. Regardless of earlier review comments about this case pushing up the factory screen protector, Spigen has fixed this in the later batch. This case works great with my S20.
I use the free "should I answer?" app on my s20. It works great for blocking international calls as well as reported spam numbers locally.
Play store link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.mistergroup.shouldianswer&hl=en_CA&gl=US
I was looking for a replacement protector for my S20+ as the one that came with it was a bit scratched up (seems to scratch quite easily). I have seen multiple places where the Amfilm protector is highly recommended. My biggest issue was the cost and fashion in which it is installed.
I decided to order this LK branded one from amazon (also well reviewed) with the thought that if it sucks, I'll return it and get the Amfilm one. Holly hell I'm impressed!! The installation was as simple as they come. It includes a positioning tool that you plug into the usb-c port on the phone. I have been installing protectors for 15+ years and have never come across one that installed so easily. What a clever design indeed.
So how does it perform? Well, I was super surprised to remove the original protector and find that it's just a film (not glass). This new one feels just like glass to me. Super smooth and slick. No sticky feeling at all.
The best part is that my fingerprint reader works flawlessly. Perhaps even better than the original. Now, I'm only had it on for less than a day so I'm not yet certain how well it will hold up. It comes with 2 (also includes 2 rear camera protectors as well) and the price was only $13. They claim a lifetime warranty and I will certainly reach out to them for a replacement if anything happens with these.
As of now, I'm super impressed and glad I didn't spend the money on the Amfilm one.
If you're worried about stripping the coating or damage to ports, consider a lens cleaner
I just use an optical grade lens cleaner that's rated for Nikons and other high end cameras, plastics, and safe for all coatings. Quick evap, streak-free, and doesn't "bite" like alcohol does.
Alcohol is a simple, effective cleaner, but with its bite, over time of constant usage, the Alcohol will denature some plastics (for example, I used to use it on glasses, but the plastic frame denatured and became cloudy and faded). This might damage plastic accents on the phone (like side buttons)
There's a nerd in the top comments that claims the cleaner has Alcohol, but if you research his claim, you'll find the chemical he mentioned would require metabolization with an alcohol to become dangerous for coatings (the metabolization is done only if used for things like paint thinner).
It's on Amazon.
If you want something that's gonna be a more high end audio experience, i got two different recommendations depending on how much you wanna carry in your pocket
Well if it helps I bought this one specifically because someone on Reddit said it was compatible with the Whitestone Dome; and I've had no problems so far (even after taking it off and putting it back on a few times).
Worth nothing that the 'raised lips' around the camera and screen arn't very raised.
I have no issues with mine. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B08JJ48TMK?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
It is for the s20 FE, and that is an Amazon canada link, but I'm assuming you can find it in other countries
This paired with One Hand Operation+ from samsung is even better than stock gestures and works fine with 3rd party launchers

This is the same as OP, doesn't cover the flash. It's very good.
I use one with no issues so far. I got a cheap one first like the one you dhow but the flash would cause the pics to be white washed.
I got this one afterwards and the flash works fine with it.

I use this one, 400GB and have had it since August 23, 2019, that puts it before I got my current phone. I haven't had any problems yet.
Use a USB-C hub (link) You connect it to your phone, connect charger to HUB if phone battery is low/dead. Connect HDMI to an external monitor, connect mouse to USB. You can enter your PIN, password, or pattern using the mouse, since face unlock doesn't work for you.
I don't have an answer to your specific question, but if you are looking for a better dialer/phone app check out True Phone: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hb.dialer.free&hl=en
I have nothing to do with them, but I found this one a few years ago, and have used it on my last three phones...

You could try using the Files To SD Card app, on the Galaxy S20 and Android R works well.

May just be files that belonged to previously installed apps "folders save data etc" try SD maid it will look find all that stuff, and will clean your cache files from apps like in older versions of Android if you enable it to use a loophole in accessibility options to "voice control" the cleaning process

I use two things to make sure my camera is scratch free. This protector that's metal and comes in black or gray to match your phone and this case. It's a snug fit with both but I've never had an issue with scratches
