I have been divided with these...never had an opportunity to try them though. My sessions are prearranged bootcamp style but I am thinking adding on a personal gym package to increase my strength training, these apps seems to fit the bill but not sure which one I will go for.

I'm a long time user of FitNotes myself. I've started using a GymRun app after I've become dependent on my Pixel Watch for doing quick tasks such as my workout logs. Here's the Play Store link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.imperon.android.gymapp
Understandable, but how do you workout? Do you have a workout plan?
I'm using Gymrun (Android): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.imperon.android.gymapp&hl=de&gl=US
Hi, thank you for the recommendation! This one looks really promising. This is the app you are talking about, right?
I'm trying to make a custom running/walking workout, but when I select "duration", it only lets me enter in the number of minutes. Is there a way to make an interval that lasts 2 minutes and 30 seconds, for instance?
Also, do you have more information on the one time purchase you mentioned? It looks like to use the Watch app and to sync with Samsung Health requires a premium version, which I'd be open to just buying but less interested in paying a subscription for.
Gym Journal+Watch app Try this may be you like it.

I use IMO Best journal app without watch app

let me know.
I found one called GymRun that I'm going to try out, seems to have the ability to program exercises and workouts that sync with a wear os app.
I'm not quite sure about rep count yet but I'm going to give it a go. Looks interesting.
I live for GymRun. I've tried a ton of similar apps and this one really took the cake for me, by far. I use it with my watch to track my reps and sets.
Fwiw I've moved on to GymRun and have been very happy: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.imperon.android.gymapp
I swear by GymRun, but that looks cool as well :)
I prefer using GymRun.

You need the paid version for the watch app, but it's awesome
you can use the timer app that is built into wear os.
There are also lots of interaval timer apps on the store.
If you are looking for a full intergrated app would suggest looking at Gymrun - I know that you will probably need the top subscription option, but when you consider how much - it isn't a lot of money for what you get:

Can't quite remember what the output looks like in other apps like GFit or Strava / or how much detail is provided, but then you always have the app itself which has huge amount of detail, and makes more sens with the included training plan.
There is an option to share with Google fit, but currently don't have the premium version, so not sure what data it shares. If it shares with GFit, then would be able to pull that into strava automatically or you can use an app like SyncMyTracks.
Love GymRun so much as a gym logger. Fast, aesthetically appealing and functional. Can't ask for much more
I use the GymRun app, and made the program. It syncs with Samsung Health, and has a Gear app.

Pretty much every workout app has this functionality.
I use Gymrun
Then there's Jefit, Strong, Progression, My Workout Plan and many others.
