Widgets are super under appreciated.
For example, I'm trying to learn Spanish and I use Tap To Translate all the time. When I'm in a Reddit Client and I want to know how to say something in Spanish, I just copy it to the clipboard and the widget will give me an instant Spanish translation.
I also love the way Musixmatch is handled on Android. It gives you floating karaoke lyrics over your music player (which for me is usually Spotify or Poweramp).
It used to be run by a company called MusixMatch, but Spotify ended their partnership with them.
There is still a Musixmatch app that will display the lyrics when you're playing Spotify music.
I know it is 3rd party, but I use this app to have lyrics for the music playing on my phone. You can choose to have them pop-up automagically or just show an icon in the status bar for you to click.

I've been working on this since I made this post and I thought I would share since I found a decent-ish solution.
I've settled on Musixmatch, which, from my preliminary tests, doesn't have the best audio recognition. However, it does let me access it through an IFTTT applet. Currently every time I identify a new song in Musixmatch it triggers the IFTTT applet, which appends a new line to a plaintext file in my Dropbox account with the title of the song, artist, and album.
If anyone has any other ways of doing this though, I am glad to hear them in case there is something better and since I'm not too impressed with Musixmatch's song recognition.
I've been using Musixmatch for years. It's awesome since the lyrics scroll automatically in time with the song. Great at the gym when on the elliptical, or if I'm doing school work I have my Pixel C beside me with lyrics on. Always handy to catch that lyric that you weren't sure of while listening to a song in the car. I was initially irate when they switched to a yearly subscription, but honestly it has been worth every penny.

Well, that's the advantage of Spotify. While GPM has cheaper options for families and gives a 10% discount on Google Play purchases, Spotify's API allows many third parties party music players to have Spotify integration.
Two interesting ones are MusiXmatch, which displays lyrics for your songs, and BuMP, which is a chathead/link bubble-like floating music player.
Not sure about karaoke but if you are referring to just showing lyrics, concurrent use and display on the phone works with Spotify. If Amazon can't do that, you can consider using Musixmatch to automatically show lyrics of currently playing song on your phone. I use it too with Spotify because not every songs have lyrics. With wireless AA, it should be even more convenient as you can place the phone anywhere or even hand your wife the phone.
Hi, I am using Mi A3 and previously had Redmi Note 4, this app called MusixMatch works just fine for me on both the devices. Give it a try.

As a massive hip-hop fan, or music in general really, my favourite and most useful app/widget on my phone is from Musixmatch. It has a little orange floating circle out of the way, and when I press it it opens a 'floating lyrics' window that moves IN SYNC with whatever song your listening to, automatically whenever a song changes. It links to Spotify and even works on YouTube music videos. If you want lyrics on demand effortlessly, here you are my friend.

Musixmatch has offline lyrics and work with any music player (even youtube) but you need to pay the subscription which is 10$/year.

I recommend using Musixmatch. It's a music player (android and iOS and I think they've also got a windows 10 app) whose main selling point is synced lyrics to your songs.
Features:
-You can get it to automatically detect a song from an audio file and enter the correct metadata for it (i.e. name, artist, album, release date...)
-"floating lyrics" which are synced lyrics in a pop-up window for YouTube/Spotify/...
-Search by lyrics
-Listen to music playing and determine the song, then open the lyrics to them at that point.
-Premium costs £9.99 per year, and at the start of the year they apply discounts to it (last year I got a years membership for something like £1.90 and this year I got it for £5).

MUSIXMATCH
Check out video as well
YOUTUBE - MUSIXMATCH
If read the Musixmatch app details in Google play "provided the link" & and see the video then you understand the purpose clearly...
Cheers
musixmatch! is the best to my opinion because it allows you to see the lyrics in a kind of karaoke way and to edit songs information such as date of release, album, artists, track number of the song and the cover of the album automatically by a "shazaming" process so without you doing anything it will find information on the web.
Try this app called music x match It can be used as an alternative for Google play music and performs as good a Shazam in funding music And it also helps us find lyrics for the song u are listing to https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.musixmatch.android.lyrify
The Musixmatch app can browse through folders and the GUI is pretty great too, you can disable the lyrics if you cant want them.

Something like Musixmatch would be your best bet. It has Spotify integration baked into the app.
musiXmatch has the floating lyrics, but I do not know about the option to download them.
musixmatch - it's not the best music player though. But lyrics view is very good.
You can use good music players like,
And combine them with apps like quick lyrics. If lyrics are embedded in music files these music players will show them even when you are offline. But for other songs quicklyrics will show you lyrics.
Here's a gallery of images with a step by step (also read the image descriptions). I also usually get my lyrics from syair.info. If you need more help, please let me know.
Edit: Also, the large lyrics I believe you're talking about is actually through a separate app, MusixMatch lyrics. The lyrics are overlayed on top, and are moveable.
Musixmatch.
Edit : You can find it here
You can either go for Musixmatch or 1lyrics.

Musixmatch is amazing. It will work with most of your music apps and will scroll while you are listening.

Many popular music players could do it, like Musixmatch or Phonograph Or you could use tag editors like iTag.
Musixmatch [87.9MB]: It's like shazam. It gives you a notification of what song is playing and gives you lyrics to it. There's a section where you can edit lyrics if they're wrong and sync so people can basically karaoke. It's partnered with Spotify a lot of the time for their lyrics.
Spotify Sleep Timer
Also, Alarm Clock Xtreme: [~45MB]: It has wakeup checks as well as standard dismiss and/or auto-dismiss, option to remove snooze, dismiss after rewriting letters & numbers (varied difficulty in settings), dismiss after solving maths problems and dismiss by scanning a QR code. It has gentle alarms which play sounds 30 minutes before your alarm so you can gradually wake up, reminders, timer, stopwatch and a night clock display feature, and more... It's as complex as you want it to be more or less.
Opensignal [22.~30MB]: You look on the map at your local area to see what the best mobile data provider is in the general area (shows you the provider, followed by download and upload speed. Also has a cell tower map and a WiFi/data speed test as well as a video test.
What3words [102MB]: (safety, navigation, maps etc.) - they've marked every (I think) 3m² on the globe where you can set markers and they have unique names you can give to emergency services.
Block (It's a time management & productivity app)
{Google Play Store hyperlinks above, despite storage space takeup, these are worth it, especially what3words}

Plenty of Android apps that can float lyrics over music apps.
As someone who is both an iOS and Android developer who regularly uses the phones from both platforms by switching the SIM card out, I have to say that they're both good enough.
There are certainly things that are really pleasant on the Google Pixel like the way Android Assistant almost always recognizes what I'm trying to say; Siri regularly lets me down when I'm trying to start navigation through voice commands or even when I'm asking simple questions.
I also love the intent system on Android and the ability to choose what app I want to open with- for example, the ability to redirect to Google Maps or Waze depending on the situation. Or even just the ability to change your default apps. I want to be able to choose Google Calendar over other Calendar apps for instance.
I'm also a big fan of how Android handles music with the file management system and it makes it easier to have high quality FLAC, WAV, or what other type of files shared with my MP3s without having to convert everything for iPhone. I just drag and drop the folders and I'm good.
Then there's the widgets which I think are highly underrated on Android. I'm trying to learn Spanish and the Tap To Translate widget has made learning so much easier for me. Basically any time you copy anything to the clipboard in any app, a little bubble will pop up that gives you the translation and voice pronunciation for that clipboard text. So when I'm browsing Reddit and I want to learn how to say something in Spanish I just copy it to the clipboard.
I also love the way Musixmatch is handled on Android compared to iOS- how it grabs the music you're listening to from the notification shade and floats karoake lyrics over your chosen music app (which for me is sometimes Spotify, sometimes Poweramp).
Generally prefer the way Android handles the notification framework as well. I even love the little things like how I can torrent on the train ride home in the background while multitasking when I'm using Android or how I can use it for Kodi.
Ultimately I can't be prejudiced if I want to make great apps for both platforms, but I really think that you won't go wrong with any flagship device on either platform.
