He's definitely talented, but it's nothing miraculous, assuming the keys were sitting on the seat and not tucked into a crack or something. There are apps that will decode your key from a photograph, an experienced locksmith could definitely do this and more.
btw for those interested in learning more, see if you can find a "locksport" meetup - they mostly do lock picking, but the shape/size/bitting of keys definitely influences how you pick a lock. Also do some youtube searches for things like "defcon lock" or "defcon key", here's one of my faves.
That's completely possible. Just take a picture of the key bits and the keyway profile and a few measurements and you can get it lock smithed.
Edit: like this app
You asked for a "key image decoder". I don't know if this is what type looking for but WHSoftware makes an Android app called Snap Decoder that might help you decode the cuts on a key.
Although I can't endorse duplicating 'do not duplicate' keys, you can probably just take the key bitting number to a key cutting place and get them to cut you one.

Not good for everything, but a start. Rather like DO's overlays.
Snap Decoder is a decent Android app that decides keys.
I've never seen this one, but I've used Snap Decoder before and it works well. I'll check this one out too. :)
This is the one I've used, I don't tend to make keys because as I said I'm not a locksmith just a hobbyist.
You can just order it directly off the website with two random keys, it adds $5 to the cost.
But wait!!!
Instead, order it with a blank key and pins for only an extra buck and re-key it yourself. It's easier easier than taking a Ruger Mk III apart for cleaning!
If you have an Android device you can use Snap Decoder to get your key bitting. There's probably an iOS equivalent.
