Its a widget called Wear Charging Widget. The free version gets you access to changing the color, while displaying weather and date.
Seems to be a popular questions ha! Its a widget called Wear Charging Widget. The free version gets you access to changing the color, while displaying weather and date.

Also allows you to have the screen dimmed very low whilst charging if you want to use it as a bedside clock.
You could always install Wear Charging Widget. Works great as a nightstand clock if you've got a dock to place it on.
Wear Charging Widget may be of interest to you, it also provides the date and current weather on the screen. I wear my 360 every day but I still have this installed as it's more useful than the stock charging screen.
I use the Wear Charging Widget and it stays in night stand mode until I take it off the charger. I'm usually asleep but I haven't noticed any vibrations on my watch while it is connected to the charger using the Wear Charging Widget. When I wake up I take it off the charger, it goes back to my main watchface and all the notification cards from overnight are there:

I don't know about that but I use this app that is not only customizable but also let's you rotate the screen so you can use it if you have a charging dock, like me. If always on is enabled it will automatically move the content around to prevent burn in
Like this app? Doesn't work too well with my wear24. wear24 has a nightstand mode, but it shuts off after a minute. what's the point.

I would highly suggest Wear Charging Widget as it allows for an always on screen and even shifts the pixels every few seconds to prevent burn-ins. I've been using it for the past weeks and have yet to see any problems come from it.
As long as the screen's off there's no real reason to remove it from the charger after an hour. That said, something like Wear Charging Widget moves the text every so often, should prevent any issues.
I haven't tried them but there are a few free apps out there that do the same thing.
That's clever and I like it. Can you post a link to the cradle you used? You might consider this charging app. It will rotate the screen when docked. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vuxia.wearchargingwidget
I just solved my issue by downloading an App on the phone called Wear Charging Widget, It will install a charging watch face that looks like the default charging watch face, but it also includes the time and date, But most important of all, The app will notify you when the Watch is fully charged. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vuxia.wearchargingwidget
There's also an app you can use called Wear Charging Widget that replaces the stock charging screen with a customizable one. It has a brilliant setting that should be included in the stock one by default that moves the contents of the display around by several pixels throughout the night. This way your display is still on at night and shows the time, but you don't have to worry about burn-in. Been using it for a while, highly recommended. It's dumb that the stock charging screen causes burn-in / image retention.

Never had any issues, and I've had the Moto 360 since around November.
If you're stilt paranoid, though, give this app a go: Wear Charging Widget. It's basically like the standard Moto 360 charging widget, but IIRC it has a screen burn prevention feature - basically the graphic shifts around.
That's why I use this...

Wear charging widget. I think causes a bit battery drain though. Not 100% sure why.
I'm trying to set it up so only This shows up
How about this charging screen? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vuxia.wearchargingwidget
