In many respects, Tom is more of a symbol than a fully-fleshed character. Before the series starts, he's Jake's role model, and after Jake learns he's a controller, Tom represents Jake's motivation to keep fighting. Some of Jake's deepest characterizations come in #31 when he's forced to deal with Tom being a controller on a much more personal level (family drama vs. fighting the Yeerk empire). And of course Jake's depression at the end of the series is marked by his loss of hope of Tom or his family being free.
The best/most classic fanfics I know involving Tom are:
Idyllic - A bunch of one-shots focused on the Berenson family
Eleutherophobia - Cannot recommend this series enough. A "what if Tom lived" AU with great worldbuilding, consistent updates, and good writing.
There was a remarkably good fanfiction crossover with Scrubs written a few years back
edit: People kept asking so I went and tracked it down. It's not quite as good as I remembered, but still decent: https://archiveofourown.org/works/1349023?view_adult=true
If you're not happy with the apps you got to work, Lithium's my favorite EPUB reader. Has a pretty good amount of text customization and I've never had it forget my place after restarting my phone like some other apps.
Are you reading the books or graphic novels? I started https://www.amazon.com/Invasion-Animorphs-Graphix-K-Applegate/dp/1338538098 with my kid - they loved all the illustrations!
It seems kind of expensive

The cube was a gift but this was the likely page from Amazon. It's perfect.
I...just remembered I never updated that I've uploaded chp 3? My bad. AO3
I think it's a better chapter with Rachel's characterization more solid than before. But if there's anything that bugs you, let me know. I really wanna fix anything and everything about my fic.
Tim Jacobus (Goosebumps artist) recently released an art book: https://www.amazon.com/Art-Goosebumps-Sarah-Rodriguez/dp/1524106909
We need to bug David Mattingly and tell him to make one lol. idk if there'd be a market for it but I'd think it'd be cool. For non-fans the art is pretty iconic for online memes at the very least.

Mattingly does sell prints of his artwork on etsy though: https://www.etsy.com/shop/AnimorphsArtStore?ref=simple-shop-header-name&listing_id=899049549
I just googled the book since I haven't thought about it in years and just found the cover here: https://www.anobii.com/books/Animorphs_Il_Viaggio/01b916bb776283ef1f So, I suppose I don't need a picture then, unless there's anything else interesting about it.
I've spent a lot of time thinking about [how I'd retell the events of Animorphs(https://www.pillowfort.social/posts/2367768) with themes more suitable for the modern day, and one of my ideas is using Tom to tell the story of a suicidally depressed abuse survivor who'll never be the same again, but he ultimately finds the will to live by trying to stop anyone else from going through what he did.
Yes, though right now it's just the first six books.
They seem to be marketing this as a nostalgia thing for old fans, not as an attempt to reach a new audience.
I don't have any insiders knowledge here. All that I know is that there is a reprint of books 1-6 available for preorder on Amazon.
Presumably whether or not they continue depends on how well those first six sell. Same with the audiobooks and graphic novels. They aren't going to commit to doing 64 books now until they see how well they do.
Sure. That’s the link for Amazon UK. Not sure if it’s listed on the US site or not.
It's definitely available to stream from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/My-Name-Jake-Part-1/dp/B00HDY6I0W/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=animorphs+tv+series&qid=1587784192&sr=8-1. And if it's on Amazon then it might also be on Vudu or other places so you can comparison shop.
In the past I've also found full episodes on Youtube.
I don't quite understand why the TV show has much a bad rap with a lot of people, but I agree the TV show itself doesn't take the place of the books and instead compliments them. I'd encourage you to check out both the books and the show per your interest. Good luck :-).
Not sure if you might be outside the US in a country where it isn't available or something, but Amazon has the ebook right here. (Note that it's probably the revised version from when the reprints were coming out.) In fact, it looks like they even have the entire series available as ebooks now. I hadn't even realized that myself. (Though I have hardcopies of all of them, anyway.)
Regeneration fits the bill, though I never finished the series so I don't know how well it holds up.
