Heya!
If you don't want to support Amazon please consider alternate (and more open) ways of reading books digitally! Ereaders
Apps: * Lithium bookreader (Android) * Marvin 3
I own a Tolino and I just drag 'n drop the books to the reader, or I buy them straight from the digital store. It's linked to a local book chain, so it "buys" it from there! :) I can also rent books from my library on there. (Also if I donwload books externally, no problem!)
Just puting it out there! There are great ereaders out there. As long as they use e-ink they're lovely!
Lithium: EPUB Reader - a simple, ad-free, Material EPUB Reader
The app is built to be simple. Books are automatically detected, loaded and listed. There is no manual importing of books required.
The app is 100% free of third-party advertisements and will forever remain that way. I intend to add a premium option which will be a one-time purchase to unlock all current and future features. There may be some occasional promotion of that within the app.
You can read books, categorize them, search, select font, text size, margin, select a theme, and switch between paging and scrolling.
Writes wall of text waxing lyrical about an app
DOESN'T POST A FUCKING LINK TO THE APP

Link to the app
I found this literally in the last comment on this page. FUCKING POST LINKS IF YOU'RE GOING TO RECOMMEND
Headway is preety good alternative if you want summary of books.
For listening, you can download audio books on torrent website, audiobookbay, etc. and use music player like VLC. Download the files and then create playlist in music player. So, you won't have to search for specific file again.
For reading, go to 'zlibrary' and create account. Then login and download book in .epub format. Use Lithium for reading on device.
If you find Blinkist mod apk, pls send to me. I am also looking for it :-)
I've been using Lithium for a while. I actually have Moon Reader Pro but ended up switching.

Google's is basic barebones but does the job. It depends what functionality you want. I personally like having my dropbox linked to Moon Reader+ Pro and all the customisation that comes along with it.
What OP suggested is really nice and free. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.faultexception.reader&hl=en_GB Contrast and compare with Google Books to see what you think. My better half is using it and likes it a lot.
It's fine, I preferred something simpler like Lithium tbh. Not sure if it works with as many different file types as Moon Reader though
Lithium is a very light ebook reader. I think it's the best as easiest to use with a great design.
Google Play book's is pretty good too. You can upload your epub/pdf files and read them from the app

I like to use EPUBs as they aren't reliant on an internet connection and are easy to modify if needed. There are a lot of apps available for reading them; Lithium is a favorite of mine.
Fan translations can be found by googling. Official translations can be purchased at most ebook retailers (Amazon, Kobo, etc...), though if you don't want to be locked to their app, you have to remove DRM.
i use google play store for everything and downloaded lithium https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.faultexception.reader&hl=en_US
it works flawlessly and have never had any kind of issue with it
I have a solution that I use often. On reading Books on Programming or Books with Codes or Images, I would suggest you to download it as PDF.
If you are into fiction or non fiction or if the Book only has plain text, I would recommend you to download it in Mobi or EPUB. The advantage using Mobi is that you could change font and its size.
On Kindle, Mobi is the Preferred format, so you could change Font and size.
On Android, you could use Lithium which is good so far for me
On PC, you could use Adobe Acrobat which works fine.
If you're not happy with the apps you got to work, Lithium's my favorite EPUB reader. Has a pretty good amount of text customization and I've never had it forget my place after restarting my phone like some other apps.
Only Lithium comes to mind.
Sadly most of these apps have horrendous UI. Even Moon+ which is a great app but very dated Ui-wise.
Lithium is pretty good. Functionally, most ebook readers meet my basic needs, but I like its modern material design UI. If you need more elaborate features, there's also a paid pro version with more features.
> "MAKE HAMBONE'S ~~WRITING~~ MORE NOT BADDERERERERERERER"
More "formating/editing/IDontKnow?", but there's something wonky about your " and '.

I DON'T SEE THIS ON YOUR WEBSITE, but on my ebook reading app, Lithium (latest : v0.24.1), it look like that (on the first chapter, I have not read further :/ ).
You can ignore this remark if you don't see this anywhere else, I'll report it to the dev.
But from peaking at the end of the previous chapter (I re DL the full e-book every time ^^unfortunately ^^I ^^overwrote ^^the ^^previous ^^one ^^:/ ), I see the same problem and I don't remember that last month.
(Last update of my reader : May 21. So it's unlikely an update broke that)
I don't think there's anything as good but what i do is i use RaveBookSearch to search for epubs and read them on Lithium. You can also search for audiobooks or ebooks in other formats as well.
Download the epub. Read it using an Android app or if you're on PC, Calibre is a great choice.
I use Lithium on Android btw.
I will reccomend 2 things this week. One is a filebrowser and the other is an ebook reader.
Lithium is one of the ebook readers I found that meet my needs for simplicity and functionality. No ads, just works.
Amaze File Manager I quite like this app for the same reasons. It has everything I need and a handy quick action to activate the FTP server embedded in the app.
My favorite reader all is Lithium.
However, my all time best thing to read on is an eReader with e-ink. If all you do is legally buy ebooks on amazon, get a kindle paperwhite 2018 wifi. If you don't, get a Tolino vision 5 or a Kobo Libra H2O. The latter make it easy to just drag and drop and use multiple file types.
also, to anyone who wants a good reader,
For Android: I use Lithium
For windows: Sumatra PDF
If you mean the Lithium EPUB reader from Google Play, for Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.faultexception.reader
then the answer is "No", Amazon Kindle ebooks aren't in epub format.
And I gotta say daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn enak banget baca epub di hape!
Mayan, itung2 baca buku tanpa keluar duit. Gak perlu beli kindle pula. wkwkwk
Try Lithium: ePub Reader and see ifthe probkem persists.

Lithium EPUB Reader is pretty good.
iBooks Author is a MacOS program, and it does not run on Windows computers.
Adobe InDesign is an application that can produce fixed and flowing ePub documents, as well as PDF and other formats.
Book Creator is a Windows 10 application that is very easy to use with a tablet or desktop. It creates fixed ePub books, and can include audio and video clips. It does not allow as much flexibility as Adobe inDesign.
Sigil is a free, open source and cross-platform ePub authoring program that offers a lot of flexibility using optional plugins. You can edit existing ePub books if they do not have Digital Rights Management restrictions, and save the document as a new ePub book
You can open ePub books using iBooks, but as far as I know, you cannot open proprietary iBook format books using cross platform ePub viewers like Adobe Digital Editions, Windows Edge ePub viewer, Google Play Books, and Lithium for Android. The format of ePub 3 books is very similar to iBooks, but there are a few things that the iBooks Author does differently that makes it incompatible with cross platform book browsers.
I use Lithium on Android.
Lithium is pretty good tbh
Lithium is great at what it does.

Mobilism
LibGen
ePubs should be fine. I'm using Lithium: EPUB Reader to open ePubs.
Try out Lithium too. I absolutely freakin love that app and have been usin it for years on the go.
Not FOSS, but Lithium is a really good reader. The author (u/faultexception) is a Redditor and has my thanks.
Me he instalado varios programas de texto.
Free with no ads, also have modern material design.

Lithium: EPUB Reader - not sure if it supports PDF.
Lightweight, minimal and snappy.
I've been using Lithium for a long time. Only works for epubs, but the experience has been great.
Linkme: Lithium
Edit: Guess I'll link it my damn self then, useless bots.
If you mean you are looking for an app to read epub books then look at Lithium. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.faultexception.reader
Lithium, but you'll need pro version for that.
If you have an ereader (like a Kindle or Kobo) you can just put them on that.
Otherwise, you need an epub reader to read them on your computer, tablet, or phone. Unfortunately Windows inexplicably removed its built-in one a while back.
One option is the EpubReader extension for Chrome or Firefox.
On Android, you could use Lithium.
For something to run in Windows, I find SumatraPDF is a pretty lightweight and reliable option.
he dowloaded the .epub file of reversed insanity and reading it on a app like this
ReadEra is great. Another good one is Lithium.
Lithium if you want something simple and lightweight.
If you're on a phone then iBooks on apple devices (and macs) should work or any epub reader on Android 1 2 3. If you're on a Windows (Or Linux I guess) PC you can download a program that is designed to open an epub file or alternatively you can use Google Play Books which saves it to your google account.
Apple products already have iBooks and with the other systems, you can just use Google Play Books. (Personally, I would suggest reading it on a portable device but it's up to you)
I use Lithium Reader. It's maybe not as customizable as Moon Reader, but I like the UI better.
Epub files are pretty much just PDFs so most PDF readers work. Here are some basic free apps, though:
Lithium is really nice, but ReadEra is also very good.
If you're on Android I would highly recommend Lithum . It's a fantastic ePUB reader with no ads and a simplistic design. Another app would be ReadEra . Both are free and have no ads with a fantastic, clean design.
As for eBooks, this is unethical but I get ALL my books and articles for free from Book CC . It's basically the largest catalogue of books and articles for free.
For website i would say this one
But I say it's better if you download Lithium (EPUB Reader)
I like lithium. I haven't use it in a while, because I have a kindle now, but it is great.
I'm not if Lithium reads anything other than EPUB, but I love it, the UI is great.
Lithium is a nice reading app. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.faultexception.reader&hl=de
To be honest dude there's no dedicated app for novels. What i do personally is download an Epub reader app. Epub is a file type format like pdf, but epub is mostly for ebooks. Lithium from the app store is the one I use, and personally I think it's the simplest and the best. Now once you've installed that, you can just download epub files since most translated novels are on epub format. For example, if you want to read Coiling Dragon, Emperor's Domination, Mushoku Tensei or any novel for that matter, you can just search on google for their epubs. Nearly all novels have an epub downloadable for them. I can give you links if you want some certain novels. Even if you can't find a ready made epub, you can just make one on your own through this WebtoEpub Chrome Extension. It barely takes 5 minutes to make one epub for a whole series. There are instructions on the extension on how to do it. Hope this helps.
