Oh wow thank you so much! I found a software fix on r/mk and it worked like a charm! I have been struggling with this for months and was seriously considering just buying new switches and desoldering the faulty ones. I'll leave the link for the software here in case someone also has the same issue.
http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/Keyboard-Chattering-Fix.shtml
You'll have to download Autohotkey and see how to create a script here. Once you create your script, you can put a line like:
^Enter::sendinput {Media_Play_Pause}
This will make Ctrl+Enter your Play/Pause combination. You can find the other keys here. I like to use Ctrl, but you can use Alt or Win if you want (no Fn/Anne key though).
Keycaps are these: https://www.banggood.com/61-OEM-Profile-PBT-Thick-KeyCaps-For-MX-Switches-Mechanical-Keyboard-p-1150540.html?rmmds=search
They're not very good but considering the price, I got what I paid for. My biggest gripe is that the font is so fine on some of the grey keys that you can barely read the word (e.g., the 'alt' key lettering looks fine but the 'super' key is barely legible). Light shines through the blue and red keys too, exposing the switch cross underneath. I probably wouldn't buy them again...
Bought it from Shopee, which is a well known online market in my region. Found similar keycap set on Amazon, but they cost more than in Shopee.
https://shopee.com.my/Ember-Grey-Keycaps-Set-XDA-Profile-Dye-Sub-PBT-i.385045247.7585282157
https://www.amazon.com/Profile-Sublimation-Mechanical-Keyboard-Switches/dp/B08T64C41K
I got mine off Amazon, they have a 20$ off coupon right now so the price drops to 89$. I saw that it can be bought for cheaper on AliExpress and other sites but Amazon ships it to you next day if you have Prime.

I found some keycaps from amazon that look a lot like these. And there PBT Double shot for only 16 bucks with prime. I just ordered these! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N8UBXYP/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_4?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A15MMZYDD7761W
It should matter who the buyer is on Amazon because if the buyer isn't you then you won't get it delivered, now will you?
In terms of sellers -- I bought this one which is the AP2 X SainSonic. People seem to have some of the least issues with this model, so I'd say go that way. A lot of switch variants are no longer available though and I'm going to assume it's due to COVID-19. Happy hunting
Better backlit keycaps, I know exactly what your looking for :
These are much thicker and better quality than the stock ones, and they have options for different colored modifiers!
Caps: Chinese DSA profile PBT dye-sub
Mouse: Xtrfy M4 Retro
Deskmat: Corsair
Cable: AMZLife magnetic USB cable

Hey,
I had the same issue. Was hesitant to order it from banggood. Certainly if you start googling the company.
Did eventually order it from banggood for 60€.
It did arrive with no damage at all. It was a great deal and would order there again.
I had to wait for about 3 weeks till I had it in the house. I live in Belgium so I don't think shipping will be much longer for you.

You can find Anne pro 2 wooden cases on banggood as well. But they aren't cheap. They have an extra slot for the battery to put in.

I hope this can be of help to you.
This is u/Wildstride's Anne Pro. He posted a couple days ago about his custom paint job.
I sold him these keycaps, which you can buy from AliExpress here. u/Wildstride sanded off the top coating of the keycaps to produce that translucent shinethrough across the entire top. Note that the legends are front-printed, so this is still usable for those who can't work with blanks.
I fucking regret selling him those caps now.
https://textexpander.com this is the app. They moved to a subscription payment model a couple of years ago. But I bet there are random generous people on the internet lending you their apps.

God bless generous Internet users!
The type of lube you get is not particularly important (unless you REALLY REALLY care) so you can just pick up any random $10 bottle and get to work.
My recommendations for inexpensive white keycaps:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08FX9HBMB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
-These keycaps are solid, thick, white keycaps with solid black fonot. Because they are doubleshot pbt, they won't break and will last a long time. They are textured and OEM profile, just like the A2, so if you are used to that as well, it's another plus.
Another pleasant surprise was that it includes a cute novelty escape key (a little plane design).
I've been looking at this one for the last couple of days, but I don't feel like spending that much on a piece of metal yet.
If you're referring to this BT adapter from Obins then no, you don't have to buy it. https://www.amazon.com/CUCUDAI-Bluetooth-Adapter-Mechanical-Keyboard/dp/B082F1QCJT
Because the TP link BT adapter or any serves the same purpose. Moreover this Obins one is a BT 4.0, if you're planning to get an adapter you should get a 5.0 + versions as that's more advanced.
Nice build!
Consider changing from those reds? If so, give Akko 43g Rose Reds a go instead, Matcha Greens are also good, they feel like Gateron Reds without the floaty bottom out that Gateron Reds offer.
Otherwise, this board is beautiful! I love the keycap set.
As I tell everyone. When you invest in an Anne Pro 2, you invest in a board that's basically a project that can be modded easily at any time.
The shipping was actually extremely fast.
+1 for that solution. Try to add sound absorbtion mat from neoprene for example like in hhkb
or you may buy something like this Rubber pads
Currently running no battery. Stock battery is too thick and I didn't want to shave into the case too much. A thinner one would do the trick nicely. All I had to do was sick my dremel to the USB outlet point in back slightly to widen it for my cable. Easy peasy.
It was slated for delivery mid July, but showed up today (10 days shipping from China).
Edit: The wrist rest came with it as well, forgot to mention that :)
Its never too late to learn how to solder, if its only a few switches that are like this you can buy some Gateron switches individually or in a 10 pack and replace the bad ones.
A decent soldering kit that comes with everything you need can be bought at amazon for less than 20 bucks, with a solder sucker included and if you want even easier solder removal you can get one of these desoldering iron pumps - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008DJRYIG/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apap_4HuPH8htp6ZEX
There's plenty of switch desoldering tutorials over at /r/mechanicalkeyboards, and if you need help just make a post and I'm sure plenty of people will be glad to help you out.

you can get wood cases on Amazon. I got this one: wood case Fits great after a few modifications. Also try ali express.
For me i haven't had too many bluetooth issues as far as connecting to my phone goes and connecting to my computer.
I think it's because I bought a bluetooth dongle from Amazon before getting the keyboard, it seems like the default dongle they give you is pretty low quality.
Here is a link to one on Amazon, but really all of them seem to work the same but better than the default dongle they send with the keyboard.
Also i don't know if you saw this guide but it helped me a little bit. I haven't had the keyboard for more than a couple of days so i'm still considering rather I should keep it or not.
I like the keyboard and the size, but given the issues, I think i'd be easier to go for something else.
These from Amazon. They feel much better than typing on the original keycaps that came with the board and I think they look cooler because the white plate under the board saturates the LED lighting so much.
Thanks! I'm new to knives and EDC in general, but PM3 LW is fantastic. A compression lock on an FRN knife is a beautiful thing. Even if the G10 wasn't so much more expensive (in Canada, it costs >60% more than a PM3 LW, at $200), I still would have opted for the LW because of the wire clip (and it's a stock deep carry clip too, no need for aftermarket clips). Idk why but I really like that wire clip. I don't have a PM2 to compare it to, but this thing just disappears in my pocket. If they made an LC200N version of the PM3 LW, I would be all over it.
And damn, that PM2 looks slick! Loving the paracord w/ the ziptie, and that signet ring! You really made it yours. While we're on the topic, mind if I ask what sharpening system you use? I just picked up this kit and it's worked well so far on the kitchen knives I've tested it out with.
Sure, here it is.
PS. Get this 125-key version if interested. The slightly smaller and cheaper package (115) won’t fit the whole of your bottom row keys, from what it says on the description. I almost ordered the smaller packages and noticed it at the last minute.
YMDK 125 Keys ANSI ISO Keyset OEM Profile Thick PBT Keycap Set Suitable for Cherry MX Mechanical Keyboard YMD96 RS96 YMD75 KBD75 Standard 104 TKL 61 K https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07Q75L2ZN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_pci86Fekg7mIP
I haven't tried them either, since my keyboard has Outemu red switches.
PS: For three months, or something like that, my keyboard sometimes doesn't record the keystrokes of the letters "a" and "d". I think the problem is with the switches, and it's a shame because it's a very good keyboard. That's why I'm planning to buy the Kemove 61 (I'd also like to have more free space for the mouse and to try new switches, btw).
Here's the Amazon link. I don't think it'll wake the computer from sleep, but my mouse does, and the board works after it wakes up, so it's not a huge issue for me.

Yes I do type with accents so I use both á and ã. On my ipad or mac when I have a keyboard hooked up I use what’s known as the option keyboard shortcuts. These are provided by apple and so work on any keyboard including the anne pro 2 without having to do any modifications with say the obins software. Briefly, to type á I type “option-e” and then another character, so I want á I type “option-e” then a if I want é I type “option-e” then e if I want ñ I type “option-n” then n.
Here is a better explanation on using option key accents
With the obins software I’ve done a couple of things:
1) Configured a custom light scheme for the LED backlighting
2) Configured the keyboard to use a mac/IOS layout instead of a windows layout.
For these two tasks the Obins software worked fine, I haven’t done any custom key mapping or macros so I can’t talk about those.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B089WF2QWV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I have had it for almost 3 years.
That's a huge oversight, erm, well then... Microsoft does provide their own USB adapter that is used on Windows to act as a Bluetooth receiver. There's a slim chance it might work on the Xbox itself... link. Hell, the one you linked might just work, too. Only one way to really find out is give it a try.
Throwing my hat in the ring. "61key PBT keycap Side view letter OEM profile ANSI Layout for Gaming keyboard OEM one set for cherry MX mechanical keyboard" for 20 quid.
The AP2's default keycaps have double shot translucent letters. They're not painted on, the letters are essentially manufactured into the keycaps.
If you were desperate, you could paint over them, but it would probably look terrible.
If I were you I'd shop around a little more, blank caps can be had at reasonable prices like this set for $20.
If the cable you are currently using allows power to the keyboard and is charging it, then we can likely eliminate the USB port being the issue, at least for now. Try this same cable but flip it over. Obviously, the AP2 is USB-C enabled, but some cables are cheaply made and only allow data on one side. If this is the case, I'd suggest looking into a higher-quality cable.
The next logical step would be to try a different cable entirely. Make sure that this is a cable that you know is capable of data transference as well as power delivery.
If the keyboard is still receiving power with this new cable but is not delivering keystrokes or appearing within the ObinsKit software, it's likely that one (or multiple) of the data pins within the USB port on your keyboard has failed.

Letter shine through is going to reduce your options significantly.
the second set are DSA keycaps which have are uniform meaning the angle for all keycaps is the same the first set are OEM so the angles are the same as what you have now.
avoid cherry profile keycaps as they can cause interference
I got them on Amazon as a joke but they are actually pretty good, here you have the link: https://www.amazon.it/dp/B095CF2LYB/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_XKYC83TGNECMWERA6YCH?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Saddly the light is not passing through
I've had the Anne Pro 2 since September 2021.
I purchased these keycaps on January only because they looked and I was convinced that "i'll probably revert back to the stock keycaps after a week or two." — Its been 2 months, I'm still using them, and I don't think I'll go back to the stock keycaps 😂
For anyone interested, here's an Amazon link that looks similar to what I have on my Anne Pro 2.
Cheers.
Now you can buy it straight from here, if you don't want to do it by yourself
Other case colors is on Aliexpress
You can buy other colors here
If you ordered through Taobao the first color from the Translation is the case, so "White Tea Axis" is a White Case with Brown Switches. If you ordered through Banggood, AFAIK it's Black/White only and you had to chose before buying.
Edit: If you want a different color case AliExpress has them for around $15USD each and offers Pink, White, Yellow, Blue, and Black. Most 60% Cases will not work with the Anne Pro because of the battery and screw locations unless you get creative with sanding and milling some holes.
Look to be back in stock in AU, Black with Cherry MX Red only.
I have this one with gateron switches. On Bangood there is no scam or duplicates so you can't order a fake. You even can't get the older one because I think it's discontinued. Also there is a cherry mx option if you're interested. https://www.banggood.com/Cherry-MX-SwitchAnne-Pro-2-60-NKRO-bluetooth-4_0-Type-C-RGB-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard-p-1425313.html?rmmds=search&ID=224515632&cur_warehouse=CN
Bought mine from fq. But I looked and banggood has them but it will ship from China.

On AliExpress there's options for cases, about $14USD for each.
Edit: Here's the link AliExpress
Keys might be clicked by accident when pressure is applied, but yeah, it's a very snug fit and the material is somewhat rigid. Dunno if that's enough for you. Personally I feel safe putting my keyboard into a crammed backpack with those.
Banggood with coupon code ea82b4 comes down to €61, I guess like $68. Cheapest I can find personally.
https://www.banggood.com/APP-Control-Anne-PRO-Blue-Red-Switch-RGB-Bluetooth-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard-p-1064055.html?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=cussku&utm_campaign=5760207_1084998&utm_content=1061&ID=224515632&cur_warehouse=CN I wanted to buy it from this one but there was lower price on alixpress. They just sell it as anne pro keyboard
Unless you really want blanks, I recommend you buy something like this to save a bit of cash. It's PBT, backlit, and the same colorway you like. I bought this same set in all black from Massdrop and I'm pretty happy with it. I think if you're getting an RGB, you'll be glad you got caps that take advantage of it. You could save even more money by getting a 60% set, but I think it's worth getting the entire thing for a few bucks more.
Shipping depends on where you buy it from. From Banggood, I got free 6-9 day shipping to the US.
Try setting the each key to itself on the tap layer as a work around. If you're on windows I think there is software that you can install to prevent key chatter like:
http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/Keyboard-Chattering-Fix.shtml
Hey guys I spent months trying to get my RGB to work the way I wanted and then found this slick program https://openrgb.org/. I wasn't even expecting it could handle my Anne Pro II, but to my surprise it synced everything flawlessly and without the warnings that this could brick your whole machine. Let me know if I can be of any assistance.
This is what I ordered. Fits perfectly and is thick and soft enough so I feel safe carrying the board in it.
After messing around some more with my tester I've decided I don't like the browns as much as the reds or my Razer greens for that matter. Somehow they just feel crunchy in a bad way, and the more I play with reds the better they feel to my fingers.
So I pulled the trigger on a white model with red switches, and This KeyCap set
Thanks for the input
I'm both giving my macros and key setups, hope it helps!
I bought this LINK
It's ellyptical, so it fits perfectly in the USB C slot of AP2 original case. It works very well. The cable have a little lite that indicated the connection.
> Looks amazing! Can you elaborate on which keycaps you used? (Im pretty new to the custom keyboard scene and a google search for kiss keycaps didnt really help)
You can always get one of these
Got you theses are the Vivo stands it’ll support your setup
Honestly, the Hyper X Pudding Caps was the first (and as it turns out only) mod I did to the Anne Pro. I think it was like $20-30 for the set.
Here they are. Double-shot PBT, good shine-through. They're not the best caps in the world, but they're excellent for that price.
As a potential compromise, these cheap plastic, poorly made (but cheap) keycaps are offered in different shapes and colors, many of which are actually flat.
They are not DSA/XDA. They are the round oldschool typewriter style, and some square ones with rounded edges. I have the typewriter ones. They are ok. I just ordered the smooth looking rounded square shaped ones to see how they are.
Hopefully this company will expand options, or other companies will dupe these styles using better plastics.
EDIT: I was also thinking about adding something to the interior of the typewriter caps (maybe a resin or something) to make it feel less cheap plasticy. Give it some weight and density.
I've seen hundreds of posts all over the internet, with the replies claiming there is no demand. Of course, this means people are actually interested, otherwise the posts would not exist.

No I got these from Amazon. I’m pretty new to the keyboard scene so I couldn’t make a good comparison, sorry! I’m enjoying them though
Looks awesome. I'm still waiting for my pudding keycaps to arrive, along with my Cooler Master wrist rest. The size is just nice, only 0.5cm extra on each side. Quite hard to find a budget wrist rest for a 60%.
The AP2 height is a tad too high for me. I hope the wrist rest will help.

p/s: It's the Cooler Master WR510.
Cooler Master WR510 picture for reference
Yes you'll need to trim the prongs and I got just the inexpensive item for you to do that with ease! Having modded and made my AP2 hotswappable it's a 3 pin only PCB. The switches you want are 5 pin. It's just a matter of using These to make them 3-pin
Good luck!
I have the razer white which is transparent on letters for light pass through and its PBT. Also you can try the Corsair pbt white keycaps.
Personally i like the Razer ones, https://www.amazon.com/Razer-Doubleshot-Upgrade-Mechanical-Keyboards/dp/B07ZPRL49Y/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=razer%2Bkeycaps&qid=1622878519&sr=8-3&th=1&psc=1

I had an iron already. The one I have is listed on Amazon.
Link to the iron I have and used.
I ran it at 450 and it worked great. Just remember to keep the tip clean and everything just works better.
You can get them on Amazon here: (US btw) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08TWN46VR?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details
If you can, try the download through a download manager like ADM (Android) or Free Download Manager (windows) it might not be much faster, but it will at least give you a better chance of pausing/resuming the download.
I also bought it here, www.getannepro.com seems to be provided by happytapping, the biggest seller on Amazon, in cooperation with Amazon for logistics as well as after-sales service, probably a very good choice to get anne pro 2.
I use those cables and they work perfectly fine for me.
I have Gateron Brown switches on my Anne Pro 2 and I bought these
HyperX Double Shot PBT Keycaps
And these for the WASD and a couple other keys
If I were you I'd buy a Kemove Snowfox with brown switches. This keyboard is hot swappable, which means that you can easily replace your switches any time you want.
Literally in the exact same position, have been using a razer ornata for years (I just needed any keyboard at the time of purchase) and now want a more compact keyboard with more potential for programming and customization. I ordered my anne pro 2 with Gateron browns yesterday having read that Gateron browns are smoother than the cherry mx browns and that they are good for mechanical keyboard noobs because they still have some tactile feel but they aren't obnoxiously loud so a good balance! I can't speak to this myself but it should arrive tomorrow and I'll let you know my first impressions!
I ordered from Amazon (UK) btw: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B088YSJR6W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_48W48G8583F5VSV0N1ZM
Thank you! The space bar is a BIlinli SpaceBar from here. The others are from 4 single color keycap sets I got from banggood a while ago, sadly couldn't find the link for those exact ones.

I think it can vary per person. For me it took a few switches to get the hang of it. If you by a metal desolder for $15, it will make your life so much easier.
I suppose if you want to practice, get an extra switch (or buy a switch tester) and practice soldering and desoldering to a pcb like this: https://www.amazon.com/ZIIDOO-Prototype-Universal-Compatible-Electronic/dp/B081K18P9Q/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=pcb&qid=1609141127&sr=8-7
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071R6ZPQ3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I got mine on amazon and it's really nice for what it is. It really boosts the ergonomics as it sits flush with the frame making typing completely flat. Not to mention for the keycaps I have it helps RGB shine a bit more throughout. As a con though it only uses two of the mounting screws and you have to unplug the battery for it to fit, not a problem for me since my pc doesn't have Bluetooth.
I ordered this one 2 days ago, and it just came in. I'm typing on it right now, and everything feels right. I grabbed the Gateron Blues, but otherwise the same product. As always, buy at your own risk, but mine seems to be on the up and up.

I don't look at the keyboard when I type, though.
Kailh has the best clicky switches nowadays for sure. You can always buy a switch tester like this one from Amazon. The box Jades and box navy are one of the bests. Did I said I had box royals earlier? Sorry, I meant to say box Navy.
I do enjoy 60% KBs but my perfect KB would be a TKL, or some 65% with Arrow keys. I know I can format it to have arrow keys, but I love me some arrow keys. That being said, I can't imagine using 40% ever, Lol. Always a personal preference.
I would love to try some DSA key caps too, but I just can't justify it right now. I already have way too many key caps than I know what to do with. I'm looking at the Maxkey f22 DSA key set for only $99. But I will have to get a new KB to actually use it.
I'm thinking of buying the CTRL KB from massdrop, but they want $200 for barebones with 6 months wait time. I just can't wait that long. I'm doing my best not to buy it for my sanity.
hi! I got them locally but they're also available on Amazon:
I'm not an electronics guy, but after some research I'm 95% sure its a JST-type ZH 1.5 mm 2-pin connector, with a male end on the PCB and a female end on the battery connector cable.
I just ended up cutting off the cable on the stock battery and soldered it onto the loose wires of the aftermarket battery I bought. However if you want to test if my theory about the model, the ZH cables run pretty cheap on Amazon.
I got this keycaps here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07F3SSXLL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_XMUJCbVS5D0CS
You can also search mechanicalkeyboards.com website. Also amazon has some too. AliExpress. I’d say MassDrop but that takes months to get to you.
