My body is ready!
I'm hyped and pumped up for today's game! Breaking my tradition of buying a new Royals hat at the start of the playoff season, I decided to order a new Brewers hat instead. Of which I received in the mail this past Tuesday.
Needless to say, I am very pleased with my order and I can officially say that the Brewers are now my favorite NL team. (previously, a Braves fan thanks to my Dad)
So yeah,
According to Weather.com, the rain should taper off soon, so hopefully 2:15 (the start time, according to the Cubs twitter account) is the latest it will be delayed to.
Also, Weather.com is one of the weirdest websites out there. They have real, informative and accurate weather reports and also completely stupid clickbait garbage like "YOU WON'T FUCKING BELIEVE HOW MUCH THIS STORM FUCKED THIS SHITHOLE UP". Most websites only give you one or the other, so it's an impressive dichotomy they run there.
To give some context:
2nd most Ks - San Diego with 1374
9th most Ks - Cubs with 1235
NL Average - 1212
Team w/fewest Ks - Angels with 903

Hey Man. Have fun in Milwaukee!
Others have suggested spots to stay. I would suggest taking a look at some of the historic hotels in Milwaukee. I personally Like the Astor. The Pfister is also nice but you will pay. Hotel Metro is has a nice location with bars and food within walking distance. Anyways, here is a link to other historic hotels in the Milwaukee Area to get you started. http://www.tripadvisor.com/HotelsList-Milwaukee-Historic-Hotels-zfp235425.html
Also, See this link. I contributed to this thread and so did others. There are other ideas about what to when in Milwaukee. Please check it out. Also, PM if you have any questions. I would be glad to help a fellow baseball fan gave a good time here. http://www.reddit.com/r/Brewers/comments/30ulzz/cards_fan_herei_promise_i_come_in_peace/
Another + NordVPN user here. Definitely gets the job done when I want to watch on either my laptop or phone, and you can cast/hardwire to your TV if you want it on the big screen. But yeah it’s certainly not the cheapest option.
> boil ... for 1-2 hours
Did I read that right?
Also, Stadium Sauce? How do I get this? Amazon is sold out. Any Brewerbros wanna help out a Newbrew? I can Paypal!
Also, if you've got (or trial) a VPN, something like NordVPN on Germany will get you access to the newest season of Better Call Saul, and a whole range of subtitle options I kinda wish they just enabled for the US.
I've tried with NordVPN and setting my city elsewhere but it still seems to pick up my location. Do you have to log out of your account? Wait, that won't work, you need it to get on YT TV. Um, do you fake out the app putting in a different address? I'm curious how you got this to work.
Jimmy makes his final rehab start for San Antonio tonight! He pitched really well last time, so if it goes well tonight he could be back for the Pirate series next week.

Haha luckily we didn't have to implement a printf function for this class. I couldn't imagine trying to make it looking at how it's implemented.

I have this view but mine is printed on wood and larger. No cables or anything, there are slider holes on the back to hang it up. I found it at Wal Mart for about $30... I do not remember which Wal-Mart, but I know it was in Wisconsin. Either Baraboo, Lake Delton, or La Crosse.
The worst part for me was installing the CPU. Thought for sure the tension was too much and I was going to bend a pin.
Yeah, BIOS is usually accessed by the "delete" key. There might be some MOBO's out there that use F12? Not sure.
Now that you're all setup I'd check out Ninite. They install a whole bunch of awesome software in one go.
I remember reading that. If he claims, Braun will be a Brewer for a very long time...why would he want Puig? Also, this article scares me.
Here's the link for interested parties.
I know I'm way late on this, but I've been a MLB.tv subscriber for about 8 years now. That with a subscription to https://unlocator.com/ and you're golden.
I get games on the Roku in glorious 1080/60fps.
seems like a cool contest. 1400 yard gnomes will be put out in milwaukee county parks and have different prizes. 400 of the yard gnomes have prizes like tickets.
I'm going to be honest with you. You will have a hard time falling in love with baseball let alone a single team. Most people do not enjoy the twitchy slow pace of the game. Please understand that to Americans who follow baseball it is more like a religion than any other sport.
Baseball is not accessible, it is just a part of our way of life. Baseball is the smell of the fresh cut field next to the middle school down the street we had pickups at. Its the burn you feel from the swollen shut black eye you picked up from the line drive at the little league championship. It's the memory of the slow motion fall of the hot dog your grandpa dropped on the person in front of you while catching you your first foul ball. Its remembering the sound Cecil Fielders bat smashing a home run out of the park.
Could I support another team? Sure. I have. We moved a lot when I was a kid. In the 90s south I loved the Smoltz/Maddox/Glavine party. When I lived in Detroit I watched some good and bad baseball under Sparky Anderson. Through it all, I remember most vividly County Stadium in the summer when we would come back to Wisconsin to visit family. What I am trying to say in all this is that I think most of us are Baseball fans as much as we are Brewers fans. We love the game. I could be wrong.
Is it tough being a fan in a small market? Yes and no. I would cry my eyes dry of happiness if I saw the Brewers win a WS title. I am also grateful I have a park nearby where I can bring my family and make memories and haven't cared when the Brewers were terrible. I can recall a life lived along side baseball.
I'm rooting for you to fall in love with it like we have, I just dont know if its possible. I'd love for that to be the Brewers. Start with Ken Burns Baseball. Read Daniel Orkent 9 Innings Anatomy of a Baseball game.
Good luck my friend.
I use the Zenmate Chrome Extension (free option). It was flawless last year but has been a little flakier this year, although 95% of the time it's still great. It also puts a stupid header on shopping sites like Amazon saying "Buy it cheaper at this sketchy site" but I'm willing to live with it for free.
Unblock-us or Unlocator are the best VPN services I've heard about and used. They have guides for nearly all devices. You can do a 7 day free trial and then sign up for monthly or six month packages. I did the six month one before the season to save a few bucks. I use it all the time without issue.
I have an older model of these. Had them for 5 years (daily use) and they still sound great.
I think Doug does an awesome job given his limited resources. He doesn't have a lot of wiggle room so when he makes a mistake, its magnified.
Did you know that over the last 10 years, the Brewers have 2nd best record in the central, and the 5th best record in the NL
The 2015 Baseball Prospectus ($18 cheap) had a great article on the Brewers and DM and worth checking out.
