Thank me later
Edit: Someone really needed this, cheers for gold dude.
Oh you definitely can have surge protectors. The picture they have there is misleading.
What they're referring to are extension cables or an outlet adapter like this

No, I do not think it's helpful.
I use VPN myself on top of CPP/eduroam (I don't use GUEST because of the speed limit). You can create your VPN server at home and tunnel in to that and it should work with CPP/eduroam using default ports (PPTP, L2TP, OpenVPN etc). You can also buy PIA/TORGuard/OctaneVPN etc and they should work too with no problem, but again using default ports. I haven't tried all VPN so I can't really tell you if they all work. Also, I use default VPN ports so I can't tell you if it works with other ports.
Benefits of VPN? So the University or Starbucks or etc you're connecting with won't see your traffic. Yes it is possible to see your traffic with the right tool. For example, they can see the website you're visiting if not encrypted. There are other benefit but also downside of course.
This is the email we got from when the app launched. Not sure if it actually caught on.
DISCLAIMER: I'm not the Dev. Don't ask me about it lol

Here is her reviews from Citrus College on RateMyProfessor. I can confirm that this is her, as the college is local to CPP, and also she was teaching while I attended that college.
In a 24 hour timeframe you might be out of luck - you could try picking up a portable one for cheap from amazon, if you order one tonight, you may get it by tomorrow, depending on the unit.

E.g. this one has an arrival time as early as tomorrow morning for me:

Long term though I would recommend picking up a Rigol 1054Z or better, they're pretty solid for school/work/hobbyist as an EE.
Oooo... this image was on the front of my old error analysis book in college. I still have it in my office.

I use Torguard. They don't spend money marketing to YouTubers and stuff so they spend their money improving their service. I mainly use them for torrenting but since I can't access blackboard either I use them for it. They are based in the US but they say they don't keep logs. If you get any plan above monthly, you're monthly payment come out to 4.99. And they always have a 50% off coupon so it's actually $2.50/month. And unlike NordVPN's prices, you don't need to be tied down 3 years.
For Dolske, if the course material hasn't change from a year ago one then of the main readings is Nicomachean Ethics by Aristotle. If I recall correctly we only had to read books I,II, and III in it. There's other readings, but they're handouts.
Make sure you do your HW (best if you do it without Chegg), that 5% can go a long way at the end, I would say that 15 units doesn't mean much to me because some 3 unit classes are WAY harder than 4 unit classes depending on the professor sometimes. Understand your classes and have an idea of what class you feel like will be your biggest challenge and put that in the middle of your priority list. Take the easiest class and put it at the top and your medium difficulty classes last. I say this because if you focus on just your hardest class then you may lose out on some free GPA points in your easiest class. For example, if you have a hard engineering class and an easy public speaking class that are both 3 units, getting a B in both is the same as getting an A in public speaking and a C in the engineering course. Also for time management, don't schedule your day minute to minute, if your friends stop you to join in on their ultimate frisbee game, live in a way that you don't have to say no, it's college, enjoy it as much as you can! If you really want a good guide on this, here's a book that I read and that helped me a ton. It's not about study-heavy students who gets A through brute force studying, it's about high-functioning, party-going, life-living students who get straight A's (be like them):

Since you have an Android, I assume you use your gmail account. As already mentioned, I'd suggest enabling forwarding of your cpp emails to your gmail. On top of that, you can actually enable a feature within gmail to be able to send emails from either your gmail email address or your cpp email address. Here is how to do it:

Check out Udemy.com on "mechanics of materials" I found some good classes that can help you before you take the class again.
Hey, I'm looking to transfer next fall and study ME, are the classes really hard? What do you think the reason was for you grade?
Hang in there!
i'm a bit late here but https://z-lib.org/ is a website ive used and have found nearly all of my textbooks here, including the newest editions that professors always require us to have
I took COM 204 (2204) with Jennifer Mahlke my freshman year. I dread public speaking but this professor made everyone feel comfortable in class. Everyone is on the same level.
http://www.ratemyprofessors.com/ShowRatings.jsp?tid=1612826
The class itself isn't that bad as long as you do the work. She gives you assignments like any other professor would.
2204 requires you to do a bit more on the research end but if you like to debate then take this class. I think that COM 1100 is just a cookie cutter public communications class where you just give a speech about a topic. Imo, debating and arguing was more fun than just giving a speech.
Let me be clear, that does not stop at high school... I would expect to have some sort of quiz or exam on the first day, or be knowledgable of the material if there is a discussion and he calls on you. Just know if you’re called on to discuss something, and you don’t know, you’re going to look like a fool in front of the whole class and him and expect a low grade on day 1.
Also, if he posted his syllabus to BlackBoard, you might be able to see the schedule and see what he has planned for the day. (www.blackboard.cpp.edu)

It's your lucky day, I found it online. link
To download it, click the title in blue, then click the blue "GET" button.
Be careful using this solutions manual... It's easy to fall into the habit of just copying from it for homework, and in a class like statics you really need to learn the material. It's like the ultimate pre req
gen.lib.rus.ec is a good website to find most textbooks you need. This one only has the 14th edition. Hopefully that's the one you need.
I don't know about upper division courses, but hopefully it works as well
CPP Gamers Union does a lot of tabletop and one-shot campaigns. They say you can e-mail them too if you want to setup something yourself.

Yeahhhh... 4K+ feet of gain over 25 miles. HOLY MOTHER OF GOD. I ride a stupid triple crank set up but don't really bail myself out by dropping to the 30T chainring. But I'd have no choice on CAT 1 - 3.
I like doing this route with friends every other Sunday or so.
I've been thinking about my major recently as well. One conclusion i've come to is that our majors curriculums lack the feeling of knowing how what you learn is applicable to current situations. So while you obviously learn the fundamentals of mathematics in your classes, use your free time to explore any hobbies you have, and if there are any jobs that could be applicable with your skill sets. If you don't have any hobbies, look into other jobs where mathematics may not be the main focus of a company goal, but it is a huge success driver. Use your free time to roam YouTube, or type in job "x" salary. As long as your side interests are able to keep up with your academic interests, you will be more than fine.

Nothing angers me more than professors who take part of this mini-monopoly type thing where they’re continuously profiting off of a rotating clientele. The one review on amazon even calls it out to be a horrible quality book
The best price I was able to find was this already sold listing which was posted a bit under $36 Sadly, there doesn’t even seem to be the option of a purchasable ebook, so they make sure it’s hard to get a copy. Good luck, I’m sorry for your situation.
Definitely this! Never try to study to Lord of The Rings, the intensity will kill you!
I switch to this when I need to shut my brain down, it helps drown out the voices of anxiety in my head. Plus the title is everyone's dream.

Hahaha hell yea! Let me know if you need anything dude! Java is like a crazy. You think you get her and she's cool, but then she goes batflip insane on you and you dont even know what you did wrong.
Protip: read early and do your best to understand the concepts early. Early = before class. You WILL need the book for quizzes. A book I recommend you reading is Head First Java (books.google.com.eg/books?id=nzhxR1spWEYC&dq=head+first+java&printsec=frontcover&source=bn&hl=ar&ei=gNl4S4CjLY6M0gSWr62kCQ&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=4&ved=0CBYQ6AEwAw#v=onepage&q=&f=false) . There a pdf of the entire book online you can find... Breaks the language down to sweet english.
