I second this. I got it on my 8th gen and love it, the sound is deep and some droning around 4k which I don't mind. Only complaint is that the included gaskets, bolts, and nuts are crap. The gasket will deteriorate in about a year and you'll end up with an exhaust leak sound. The bolts and nuts will rust. I had to replace them every year for three years straight. Get stainless steel gaskets, ARP stainless steel bolts, and nuts. It will help you in the long run.
Yeah, good luck and keep us posted either way. I've got a background in electronics and I'm convinced that your issue is relegated to the keyfob; either inadequate power or something in the circuit itself is failed. If the issue were in the car, the keyless ignition module wouldn't read the near field comms how you're starting it currently; it's the same 'code' the ignition module will be reading either way. If you have a secondary key fob to test out that may help you as well.
On a separate note, if you have any aspirations of doing any sort of minor car maintenance or troubleshooting, a DMM is one of the best things to have around your garage. will turn guesswork into actual answers when it comes to diagnosing issues. There are quite a few inexpensive options out there that perform all functions that you may need pretty well. No need to drop hundreds like I did on my Fluke.

^One example. There's a dude on there, Old Radio Guy, who reviews different inexpensive stuff against his expensive high-accuracy equipment for budget-minded HAM radio amateurs. That one fared pretty well against his stuff and for less than $30 (with the $8 off coupon they have going.)
I have these and I'm very happy with them. They are about $60, I dont see why anyone would buy a $25k car then look for the cheapest ebay stuff to put on it.
Clean FG2! I bought a Android head unit from amazon which has carplay. It’s been working amazing so far. It is a bit laggy when making setting adjustments and a bit loud. Fairly new with it so still getting accustomed to it. I added a backup camera as well which works awesome with the head unit. I really like the way yours look! completely blacked out! that’s what I fear that the application will be so tough and I end up getting frustrated. for the calipers I painted them myself and i’ll leave the link right here:

and at first I went with Eibach Pro Kit Lowering Springs but it wasn’t low enough for me so I’m running BC Coilovers with Extreme Lows and Swift Springs
That is one nice looking Si! Get a Black Nose Cover for it. I was on the fence about them, but pulled the trigger and I am glad I did. They look amazing on the Aegean Blue Si.
You need something like this
What you are doing is the equivalent to trying to use a towel to wipe dirt off another towel. All you are going to do is smear it around.
STAUBER Best Honda Key Shell... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01L0VW5DM?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Get these come in a two pack. The reuse all the parts of a broken key and fob so no cuting or reprogramming. Been working good for about two years for me.

Here's the one with a rebuilt title:

By the looks of the pic, it looks like the drivers side door and front fender are different color paint. This one seems interesting if only for the factory HFP kit.
Saw another one that has an aftermarket steering wheel on it:

How the heck do you deal with airbags on something like this?
Mugen shift knobs are cool. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07ZKF4XYH/ref=psdcmw_15737011_t1_B07ZKDL9WL
I'm rice trash and got one of these but 5 speed for my EF civic. https://www.amazon.com/DEWHEL-Shifter-M10x1-5-M10x1-25-M12x1-25/dp/B081YM27D2/ref=pd_aw_di_ci_mcx_2l_mi_ca_mcx_picks_views_5?pd_rd_w=X1LgE&pf_rd_p=3fe70698-0cfc-4664-ada9-f60598343b42&pf_rd_r=1FGK6R6SY9RPDACSS26R&pd_rd_r=52f0abeb-b801-...
Acuity shift knobs seem to be somewhat popular for our 10th gens.
You can search just about anything with "shift knob" and the end and find something. Most come with adapters to fit any car or you pick an adapter to come with it. The ones that don't come with adapters are typically made for a specific car.
It just uses a generic USB type A to B cable like this

They were ok to install. There are videos online that I used for examples. Only issue I have had, the center back of the cover has come loose - so if I push the center back, and then forward again - the little flap on the back will stick out and sorta stick to the back plastic of the armrest.
I can fix this with some gorilla glue, just have not done it as I generally keep the armrest forward, covering the second cup holder.
Just go slow, and do like 5 dry fits before applying the tape.
Oh shes stiff alright lol. I can definately feel a difference in the steering.. slightly more responsive and even more planted than before. I highly suggest getting some good heat wrap for the fuel line and negative wire on the battery because the coil/loom they give you is trash lol.
I used this
Design Engineering 010477 Fire Wrap 3000 Heat Protection Sleeve for Wires, Hoses, etc. (with Hook and Loop Closure), 0.625" x 24" https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B002R51AFA/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_7KCTBGPZDHS4F0S9BE7T?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Yaaaa buddy.. I wasnt a fan of the cloth material on the arm rests. I work in construction and its hard to always stay clean .. that material LOVES to grab dirt and skin flakes.. so i got the cf covers.. not real CF lol

Yes sir.. the kit from amazon was the easiest iv ever done.. no soldering involved.. but you do use the 12v cig lighter outlet.. but since its on the passenger side in the bottom center cubby.. you never see it. Works with music too. The perfect amount of wiring for the sedan to be able to tuck it all under the panels
My buddy actually bought it and mentioned it to me, but I’m sure he just bought some off Amazon.
This one has a decent rating:

Metal polish works well for this. I use this stuff on my car's exhaust. Careful not to get it on the trim.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000BO8Z9I/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_13F6FG2335KSH635NCF8
For the strips I just wire-tied them so you don't have to worry about adhesive ever coming undone in the summer etc. As for the bass control are you sure you actually need this? I've had a handful of systems and if it's been properly tuned with your system at the amplifier (especially for the types of music you listen to), you shouldn't be changing the amount of bass enough to justify needing a quick access dial. With that being said, if you really need this dial I would get some 3M Primer Pens which will prepare the little area that you are trying to stick the bass control to be bondable.

Here you go. The 9th gen has a lot out there. I recommend the acuity short shifter and a nice exhaust
I would try this stuff.

You could also get the strips that mount e-zpass if you want something velcro like.
So I actually got them from Amazon here
They seem to be out of stock now, but I also saw them on hi-rev and ebay like here
https://hirevsports.com/products/hrs-2016-20-honda-civic-led-tail-lights-v2-smoke
I spent like 280 on mine tho. If you search ali express or ebay you'll end up finding them. I've seen 3 different styles for the sedan.
I got these and haven't had a single issue.

These are a little more expensive but they feel like OEM quality. Easy install as well.
They are legal since the bulbs are amber.

You’re back will thank you
I replaced the aux port in my old 07 civic dx. Amazon had the part for like 20 bucks.. not sure if it’s any different in the si... was relative simple to exchange the piece https://www.amazon.com/Replacement-Honda-Auxiliary-Assembly-39112-sna-a01/dp/B077CZB6N5/ref=mp_s_a_1_fkmrnull_1_sspa?keywords=8th+gen+honda+civic+aux+port&qid=1551848410&s=gateway&sr=8-1-fkmrnull-spons&psc=1
I bought a pair of bulbs from ledguys(.)com, but amazon has the same ones but cheaper. I looked for some like mine.
Red Flashing Strobe Blinking Rear Alert Safety Brake Tail Stop High Power LED Light Bulbs (7443) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075G5CQV8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_RDThDbX0PP2H9
I cannot speak for the honda Si, but i have the same issue for my honda ridgeline.
I ordered some lights from amazon. Basically you have to take the dash apart, get to the light, take the old bulb out and put in the new bulb. yes you can but the whole fixture for like 10$ a bulb - or just buy a pack of bulbs. You will reuse the "bulb condoms" for specific colors).

These are the bulbs i bought. They are not LED.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L8BR76A
If you are going to do this., you could switch to LED, but do a little bit more research to figure out sizing. You could also change the colors if you want.. like decide instead of amber, you want red, or blue or something.
Honestly just Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/GZYF-Splitter-Spoiler-2016-2018-Plastic/dp/B07KJYBV44/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?keywords=Civic+si+splitter&qid=1573327758&sr=8-4 It's not super high quality, plastic similar to the bumper. But I used my own bolts and fasteners to attach and it looks super clean to me.
I bought it on Amazon, heres the link.
This is the part #19420 which is for the coupe. The sedans part number is #19394
Hope this helps! I paid $580 for it, so i reccomend waiting until they are on sale again or unless you can find it somewhere else for cheaper than the regular $800
20 bucks on Amazon. here is the one I got.
Alla Lighting H11 H8 LED Bulbs... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N67FMQ5?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Should be plug and play but my previous owner had spliced some of the older style while LED with the fan and ballast into the harness so I had to buy new connectors and splice those back in but cheap and work great. Thinking about some 6500k LED for low and 5000k LED for high beams. With some new all clear housings
Sorry off topic, but I found these mirrors for my 9th civic. Will they give me a boarder view or are they just normal replacements. They are selling them as "convex"
https://www.amazon.com/2014-2015-Convex-Passenger-Replacement-Mirror/dp/B013ET7JUM
Do it yourself. Power stop front kit was $100ish dollars for me From Wally World. Be sure to break them in correctly. Edit: currently $92.46 on Amazon.
I went with this one off of amazon for my 10th gen SI and I love it. Super cheap and seems like really good quality for the price Shift knob
Bought this LED set through Amazon last year... they work great with both high and low beams for the 2017 Honda Si (that's what I have)
https://www.amazon.com/SEALIGHT-Ultra-thin-360-degree-Illumination-Brightness/dp/B07VSTG2VR
They each have a small ballast you'll need to stick in place (with included double-face tape) and you can get them in place cleanly without extra cables hanging about if you get creative and use a couple small zip-ties. Otherwise it's as easy as pulling old bulb and putting in new ones.
Amazon (CA): Fod lights and interior lights.
Went cheap with fog lights as it was either white LEDs with yellow tint film or these yellow lights. We'll see how long it holds. I'm not worried because I didn't pay much (vs $70 for PIAA yellow LEDs) and if they die in 1 year, I'll just get others. Plus the spares I have for interior.
I looked back and one came with the knob (which I pitched in haste). Going to try this.

Keep in mind I have the 18 SI so I’m not sure about differences between the 19/20.
If you're desperate for dome punchier bass, there are always options. I doubt you want an aftermarket stereo so that limits your options. But you also have the option of getting something like this:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00I4EF1BC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_kzj.zbD5498FQ
With this you can splice from your speaker wire (or daisy chain from your rear speakers or subs) and turn them into rca ports for your amp. So you can add a subwoofer no problem. It might be a little more limited but it totally works. Unfortunately it doesn't take any stress from the other speakers but the '17 si speakers aren't too terrible anyway. They'd just sound better with a dedicated amp and some bigger subs. I hope this helps.
