This was paid for by Private Internet Access. Though obviously there are alternative VPNs that you should research, PIA is one of the most affordable ones at $40/year. You're paying $50-100/~~year~~month for your Internet, why not add $3.50 a month and keep your privacy and give your ISP and these sellout politicians the middle finger?
As an added bonus, now when you go to Starbucks and use their wi-fi, it's now secure as well.

Wind speed of 40 mph. Temp low of -6 means frostbite in 10 minutes or less. That means you could lose some skin waiting at the bus stop or cleaning your car off.
It's not a monopoly though. There will be 10 entities licensed for mass cultivation, not one. And they will all be competing against each other. If it should be called anything, it should be called an oligopoly. Which is still kind of a scary word. But 10 mass cultivators competing against each other will still provide plenty of competition to meet the needs of marijuana consumers in Ohio. I would be glad to have a choice of 10 in a lot of products that I buy. And the owners of the 10 grow sites will also be leasing out space to hundreds of artisanal growers who would have minority ownership and retain intellectual property rights to the strains they develop, per the agreement reached with Ohio Rights Group (noted in the press release). Don't forget that you can also grow your own under this initiative, up to 4 flowering plants at a time.
Personally, I think the oligopoly aspect of the initiative is much overblown. There are so many great reasons to legalize marijuana in Ohio right now and so much harm that the senseless war on marijuana causes. I don't want to allow the evils of prohibition to continue any longer and it would absolutely be great for Ohio to be the first state in the eastern half of the country to legalize.
Lifelong Clevelander here. Glad to help you out.
Here are a few things to look for:

Thinking about it more, you still couldn't see CP on land, but it is possible to see the upper parts of the tallest coasters, specifically the dragster. Here is some work. I have no idea how possible this is considering visibility, but there is a line of sight.
According to the bug identifier app on my phone, it's a barn funnel weaver, one of the most common house spiders and not dangerous.
I don't have a home for you to use, but our dog blew out her knee joint a year ago, and here's how we handled it:
It took a month of healing to get her back to normal, but this was enough to do the trick in our two-story home.
Thanks. I have uploaded to Unsplash if you want the full resolution (I think Reddit compresses the image a little).
I go to Al-Madina Imports at 115th and Lorain. There are several middle eastern grocers and restaurants around there.
Cleveland metroparks has an app that is actually pretty good at finding trails.
That said, I just did the Hinckley lake-buckeye trail loop and it was pretty sweet. Only really saw one other person and you get to go through whipps ledges which is nice.

Checkout Recess Games in North Olmsted. I think there are also some D&D groups in Meetup.com. If you are staying awhile, you won't regret going to Origins Game Fair in Columbus. It is a great con with lots of games to play.
Hmmm...
Here's the start of the message on WeatherUndergound:

And here's the link.
It's super easy to use the rta app. I'd walk from tower city and not even bother getting onto the waterfront line.
Bought beers in the bars rather than outside and didn't have as much of a wait. The beer carts they all had set up were a lifesaver.
Also, use uber use uber use uber.
Park a few blocks away even for free and just get a short ride down. It cost me and 4 buddies $10 total to uber in from Lakewood to the show.
If you decide to make them from scratch, be sure to use Solo brand fillings only. Regular pie fillings will ooze. SOLO brand will not. Example: https://www.amazon.com/Solo-Variety-Pack-Pastry-Filling/dp/B08511LPDR/ref=mp_s_a_1_15?dchild=1&keywords=solo+pie+and+pastry+filling&qid=1622338044&sprefix=solo+pi&sr=8-15
There's a huge greenhouse in Medina called Hirt's. They're a big seller on Amazon (apparently they don't ship things super well, but that's not a concern if you're picking it up.
And here's that Bonsai on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Mini-Fukien-Tea-Bonsai-Tree/dp/B000NPSJCI/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1468411454&sr=8-6&keywords=Fukien+Tea+tree+bonsai
I'd imagine it'd be cheaper without having to pay shipping and they might have some larger ones.
Yes, the One Tank Trip books & videos still an excellent resource, readily available via local public libraries or bookstore. Protip: Many other major cities also had a locally produced One Tank Trip series, available via local library, local bookstore or Amazon, they continue to be quite useful for vacations and such.
I installed DailyRoads Voyager on my Android phone, mounted on my dash, so I can record my drives without buying a separate dash cam. I was in an accident on Carnegie last summer when the other driver made a right to from the center (turning) lane while a big van in the left lane completely blocked them from my view from my position in the right (curb) lane. Got the whole thing on video, which helped my insurance agent get the other driver's policy to cover the damages pretty quickly.
You can also download the RTA app and buy your tickets on your mobile, and the Transit app for times.
As others have said, hotels downtown run $150+ per night (I've seen as low as $120, but it really depends on the day), and anything too far from downtown is going to be a $15-$20 Uber/Lyft.
There are some hotels near Little Italy/University Circle that are pretty close to the Rapid (rail). Red line tickets are $2.50 one-way for adults ($1.75 for students), and will take you right downtown.
Other than that, you can look at Airbnb. A cursory look for April 3 - 4 shows full apartments/houses near downtown starting ~$80-$110 per night. If you're on a tight budget, that might be the way to go.
I have a private room on Airbnb in the middle of downtown. Unfortunately I already have guests scheduled but feel free to book another weekend if you're flexible!
I know people who live close and they had to put up a prison style front door after someone high on pcp literally busted through their old door. If not a gun get a taser or mace(like bear repellant mace that shoots really far) How do you feel about crossbows?

Check out this map for no-fly areas. The Metroparks have a specific set of regulations for drones:
(1) Drones weighing less than 4.4lbs/2.2kg shall not be operated except in designated areas or by successful completion of the Park District permit process.
(2) Drones weighing 4.4 lbs/2kg or more shall not be operated unless needed for Park District purposes.
(3) Drones needed for Park District purposes may be operated only upon approval by the Chief Executive Officer or his designee.
(4) Drones that are authorized to be operated pursuant to this subsection shall comply with all applicable Federal and State rules, regulations and statutes.
For other, local parks, I would just check with the city or something. A lot of places are still developing rules on how to deal with drones, because while they're not new technology, they are becoming more affordable for the average consumer.
It's definitely quite tough to find a cool/"legal" area to fly them. There are videos on YT of people flying them downtown, in the flats, etc., even though it's prohibited. It's not impossible, but I guess it depends on how far you want to push it. The best/coolest/legal (I think) place to fly that I've found so far is at Lakewood park off of the walkway they have near the lake. It's just outside of the no fly zone, and you can get some pretty good footage of Cleveland (if you have a GoPro).
Have fun!

Sure, we switched to Time Warner after calling and confirming they've got no data cap, enforced or not enforced. I signed up for their service over the Internet. They had me pick two times and dates for the install (first and second choices). You get to pick a one hour window for when they'll arrive. They actually arrived on the day and within the hour they said they would. Pretty sweet.
There is a $39 installation fee and I purchased my own modem from Amazon for about $110. Here's the one I got:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01A1F3V7W/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_EEOcxb0E4H950
The installer ran new cable from the phone pole across the street and into my basement. I've got the modem there and we get great reception on all the floors of our house.
We ordered the 30 down / 5 up speed and actually get a little more than that. I just did this speed test: http://imgur.com/x3oIHbx
I definitely want ATT to rethink their policy, and my method is to vote with my wallet. So I'm spreading the word that there are really good alternatives to Uverse in Cleveland. Hope this info was helpful.
I use the iOttie One Touch dash mount. It's available on Amazon for about $25. The suction cup mint really works well, even on slight curves and textured surfaces.
Re: my accident, I was driving in the curb lane, going straight through a green light, when the other driver was obscured behind a van on the left lane, making an illegal right turn across two lanes of traffic from the center (left turn/merge only) lane. Prime example of why being a "nice guy" and letting someone make a dumb turn in front of you (like the van was doing that day) isn't really a nice thing to do at all. If he would've just kept driving like he was supposed to, the other car would've seen me and I would've seen them, and there wouldn't have been a crash.
I use an RCA model similar to this and I get all of Clevelands channels in Akron.
but, I think having an unobstructed line of sight towards the towers helps me.
get one of those flat ones for ~30 on amazon. everyone i know that had these problems with 8 and 19 had success
I recommend this too: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ar.com.lichtmaier.antenas&hl=en
It's handy for finding the direction when you're trying to point the antenna. There's something similar for iPhones.
Check out Kolsom Tires
It is a guy's house, and he has tires just stacked in piles across his yard (you can actually see that from Google Maps). I got 4 Cooper Tires for my Camry for a good price. I don't remember, but I do remember that it was the cheapest I saw. He doesn't take appointments, so get there early. Call ahead to make sure he has the right tires. It looks shady, but my dad has been going there for years and several family friends too.
Is it a parakeet by chance? There's a long post on nextdoor about a guy who lost his parakeet, then bought another, and so on, so now he has like 6 birds but not the one he lost.
I definitely recommend playing some pickup sports (look on meetup.com). If you like it you can join a recreational league. That's how I got into Ultimate Frisbee and it's a great hobby.
This one seems to be available most weekends. Accomodates "7" people but that might be flexible if you contact the owner.
There is one not far from you on the corner of Belvoir and Monticello

It's called the westshore commuter rail and the plans are still very real. I believe, and don't quote me, but they are finishing up a final study. When Kasich cut the 3'c plan, he did praise this one for what it is worth. They have a facebook page that is updated with info pretty regularly:
Check out Groupon deals. I have never been to any of those locations, so it's a good idea to go check out the facility first before committing the purchase.
I have been in Los Anglels for 4 years and Minneaplis for 5 years before that. I dream of one place, and one place alone.. I have tried others, many others, to no avail.. Well, I'm pretty sure this is the event's second year, and I didn't get the chance to make it to the last one. This is the message I got from the Facebook group
Hey there!
We're bringing back the Speakeasy this year! Come on out on July 15 and party like it's 1929...and support Ingenuity while you're doing it.
More food, more drinks, more entertainment, and more ways to get in the door with THREE ticket prices. Plus save big if you buy in advance.
This year’s party will feature performances by Vance Studio’s Syncopated Sin Swing Jazz Band, neo-vaudeville duo Pinch and Squeal and the Hilar-A-Tease Dancers. Screenings of Louise Brooks’ Pandora’s Box with live jazz will also be featured as well as sets by DJs Graydar and Lo_Tek Jackers. Other innovative performers such as Uno Lady and Dr. Sketchy will add to the eclectic mix of traditional and cutting edge entertainment that defines Ingenuity.
One of my friends who's a DJ had a set for last years show and he said it was a pretty good time. Heres the facebook page if you want...

just take them to bestbuy, I think they have a limit of 2 towers per day though.
>accustom yourself to checking Google maps for traffic info daily. I normally do and only ever seem to encounter a backup on the day that I don't.
Or use Waze. It'll automatically re-route you around traffic, as well as alert you of police, road debris, construction, etc. You can also report all of those things for others.
U-Verse @ 12/2 (what I pay for). While I'm firmly against bandwidth caps, a 250gb cap seems like a reasonable limit all things considered.
If you consider that streaming a 720p/1080p hd video would be somewhere between 3mbps and 20 mbps. So if you figure about 8 (since it make for easy math) you have 250,000 seconds of streaming video per month. That's 70 hours of good quality video.
Netflix uses about 4mbps, which would wind you up with 140 hours of video.
This is much better than, say, 5gb which would be used up in a day easily.

I realize this is kind of vague but you can find something that is the Cleveland Metroparks within maybe, three miles of anywhere in the Cleveland/ NE Ohio area. Google maps for the metroparks.
Cool project. The soldering should be pretty simple, and it's fairly easy to learn. I would recommend buying a soldering project kit, something silly like this: amazon link that you don't mind messing up and learning on.
It's here on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Stadium-Mustard-Squeeze-12-ounce-Pack/dp/B011ISI26Q/ref=sr_ph_1_s_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1515459930&sr=sr-1&keywords=stadium+mustard
I'll check out Colman's, cheers :)
Ride in the street, wear a helmet, follow all traffic laws. If there's a narrow/no shoulder, take the whole lane - it's legal, and it's safer than hugging the shoulder. Euclid has a bike lane from you all the way downtown and is a safe ride, and there's also a path going up MLK through the cultural gardens straight to the trail along the lake. Lots of great riding around the city! Strava is also a great app for finding routes people regularly take.
Edit: also get a tail light and headlight, even if it's just something cheap
Yes, I use Snapseed for editing. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.niksoftware.snapseed&hl=en_US. But, many have been mostly unedited minus a few minor adjustments like exposure and saturation.
Maybe try some meetups. I actually run the new (and already neglected) meetup called CLE Byte.
http://www.meetup.com/CLE-Byte/
I don't have any ideas, so I'm thinking the next one could just be gathering people to work on coding problems like from Project Euler or go through the book Structure and Interpretation of computer Programs. If there's something you'd go to a CLE Byte meetup for, let me know!
If you want a good intro to C, I suggest the classic book The C Programming Language 2nd ed.
Honestly, just get Ichiran instant ramen on amazon. It’s the same packs they actually sell in Japan and it’s better than Masons and Xinji lol. You need to make the pork belly and eggs tho but worth it for a good bowl of food! https://www.amazon.com/Japanese-populer-ICHIRAN-instant-tonkotsu/dp/B077T7HC88
Get yourself a wheel club, hell decorate that shit with LED lights if you have to, anything to let them know that you have locks on the steering wheel so they won't bother breaking your window.
https://www.amazon.com/MONDAY-Zero-Alcohol-Gin-Non-Alcoholic/dp/B083JN9J8M
If you have amazon, I see same-day delivery. I have never had this (i hate gin even if it gets me drunk), but reviews look decent. Most of the lower reviews say it doesnt taste good. But it's gin... so par for the course.
I'd go with a steering wheel lock instead. Large visible deterrent means they won't even bother destroying your window and just move on to an easier target.

What about CLE sewers? We used to explore them down Brookside Park back in the day, including the "half moon" sewer, which had rats (noted in my graphic novel about growing in CLE - "Hey You Punks!" https://www.amazon.com/Hey-You-Punks-Donald-Billie/dp/1075634725). Also what about Kingsbury Run where the Torso Murders of Eliot Ness fame took place?
Great info thanks! I highly recommend Rust by Eliese Collette Goldbach. It's a great personal memoir about more than steel, but a lot of it takes place in and around this mill. It give you a lot of context as to what processes are going on down there.

The whole book isn't about Cleveland, but Lawrence Ritter's The Glory Of Their Times is a series of interviews with dead-ball era baseball players, many years after their retirement in most cases. A few of the players interviewed were from Cleveland, and the way they describe the city in the late 19th and early 20th century is fascinating. Imagine E 55th being countryside. Great read.
https://www.amazon.com/Glory-Their-Times-Baseball-Perennial/dp/0061994715
I don’t know if it’s “essential” but I enjoyed Buried Beneath Cleveland which talks about forgotten cemeteries in and around the city. It was an interesting read for sure and does dive into (sometimes) obscure histories of various locales. Plus, you can use it as a guide to explore some of these locations yourself.

I don't really understand what you're saying, but to answer the title's question, Phatty Banks is a local dj. If you just Google "phatty banks Cleveland" the first 3 results are his Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn pages.
The only one saying "1000 jobs!!!" is Kasich. And they're as usual, lying about the numbers by counting stuff like 'oh well they'll have to hire some janitors and maintenance people.' It's also not Amazon, it's Vadata - their actual ops are in Virginia. High paying jobs coming to Ohio? Here's all of them. And would you look at that, they're all very junior level. Any actual technical work happens out of Virginia.
And actual Amazon jobs from fulfillment centers: zero, none, zip, zilch, nada. Full time jobs? About zero. Above minimum wage jobs? Again, zero. Fulfillment centers are exclusively staffed by lowest bidder contracting. You don't have to go far to find the horror stories in bulk.
buckeye trail in cvnp is lot of fun!
I'm partial to this portion, but I usually just take the towpath back instead of backtracking.
The Buckeye Trail and bridle trails are generally the more "rugged" ones in the area. In particular, the Buckeye Trail south of Brecksville has some decent ups and downs. It does tend to get muddy in spots, though. I ran there recently in a last-minute effort to prepare for Mt. St. Helens.
I use the AllTrails app. You can sort by distance and difficulty.
The buckeye to valley bridle trail is pretty decent. Not that far but a lot of elevation changes. If you move at a quick pace you’ll burn some calories. I go there any time my dog needs to get rid of some energy.
Also good for wildlife.
Check out this trail on AllTrails. https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/ohio/buckeye-trail-to-valley-bridle-trail
You may went to open a Nextdoor.com account, a lot of folks advertise their work, and a lot of folks hire recommended handy men/roofers/masons/etc all from local folks. Just make sure you get those recommendations.
So I just did a bunch of research and on the fox 8 site they say they broadcast in VHF. Most antennas are UHF that you get in stores so they won’t even pick up the signal. I found this one on Amazon that has a 130 mile range and picks up both signals.
I got this set from Costco. I've been told that this is really good set for a beginner, and the manufacturer seems to get high marks. I had to pay tax, but it was a hundred bucks cheaper than buying it direct from the manufacturer. I love Costco... :)

I'll check out Bradstreet Landing. I'd never heard of it, but that looks like a really convenient location! I can't find a website for them. Can I just drop myself off in the water or do I have to register someplace?
I'm guessing it's because he's a moron.
The rock hall is AWESOME in so many ways. I mean, if you're not too cool to actually like it or anything.
OP, this might be helpful, too: https://tinyurl.com/nq35tkf
Yeah if you need to deposit cash a lot it might not be the best bank. If you do direct deposit it works great, but if you work in the service industry or something its probably more hassle than its worth.
I use Discover online banking and they have a whole network of fee-free ATMs in the area - there are 30 within 3 miles of me. Looks like the ATMs are mostly at Marc's, Sheetz, PNC, US Bank, Walgreens, CVS, Target Rite Aid, area credit unions, and some other random locations.
It looks like Simple's fee-free ATM network includes many of the same ones, though.
The background map was made using Mapbox Studio (map creation software that is very new). If you're interested in making something similar, you can create a simpler map using mapbox.com's online map designer (you'll to sign up for a free account) or Tilemill which is also developed by mapbox and is free.
The interaction, the styling of the parking locations was done using leaflet and mapbox.js, javascript mapping libraries.
As for the source data, it's from [openstreetmap](osm.org), which is like 'a wikipedia of geographic information', that anyone can edit and then use with some minimal restrictions.
As many people have pointed out, Cleveland has one of the best art museums in the country (currently #17) so if your into art then that is a great place to go. There are also like four museums right there (all free), but the art is the best.
Rock and Roll hall of Fame, some people love it some think its just ok, you could take it or leave it in my opinion, but it depends how much you love rock and roll. We take a lot of family there from out of town and some didn't seem to like it as well, others loved it.
Terminal tower (tower city) is a great place for shopping, you could spend all day in there, it's huge. Then before or after shopping you could stop by the observation deck.
There's also the Christmas Story house and museum that you could visit. I have never personally done the tour but most people who like the movie seem to enjoy it.
Here's a website with the top things to do in Cleveland, you could pick and choose based on what you guys like to do:

Do you mean a coding bootcamp? Those are more like 3 months, so you may be referring to something else.
Is your friend's son already programming as a hobby, or do they just see it as a surefire way to a stable job with a good salary? There are free resources like The Odin Project that will cover a bulk of the introductory stuff. But of course, that doesn't come with the networking connections a bootcamp might have.
That said, a 4 year degree is about more than getting a job. If he's not interested in taking non-programming classes (philosophy, film, art history, etc.), studying a foreign language, studying abroad, playing a sport, getting involved in a club, having the experience of living on campus, and making new friends and connections, then yeah maybe skip the 4 year route.
Funny thing is Match.com will never tell you if the person you contact is a subscribed member. DO you know how easy it would be for them to let their own paid customers this information but rather keeps it from them since it would most likely tank the site!
Did you join Nextdoor? The Old Brooklyn neighborhood has a good deal of people on there and are great at communicating about lost dogs among other neighborhood issues. Check it out, I've been on there for years, it's comparable to a specialized social network targeted for neighbors:

Found this from a Google search. Obviously it's way behind on the timeline but the awning was put up recently so it sounds like it's still moving forward.
I'd look at the Claims group at Progressive. When I hear Payroll/hr and AP, I think lots of skills in back office functions, knowing how to resolve problems within a given process and data entry / systems. Those would be good transferrable skills to a company that is known to be well liked and is profitable.
Chagrin Valley Job Seekers used to be a job search group you could attend meetings every other Monday. I believe its north shore job seekers or something now? Anyways, the guy who started the group Jim Grant wrote a book that's actually super useful for this: https://www.amazon.com/Get-Job-Compensation-You-Want/dp/143921249X
I have a few copies of this book and highly recommend it! I have one copy in my glovebox, for those impromptu hikes.

I was trying to avoid spending a ton. I saw this one in another Reddit thread. It seems to work so far!
MAXXHAUL 50027 Hitch Mount Platform Style 2-Bike Rack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GBPBW1T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_DAEVTSTFABKTYXCXB4YM?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
It might be legit. I looked into it more and it seems to be made by Arthur B Suchy. Here's a link to the map on Amazon.
Suchy lived from 1901-1995. A Google search shows some of his work from the 20s and 30s and it looks just like this map.
Even if it was a later work, it was created by an actual 1920s mapmaker and done in the exact same style he used back then. But all sources seem to suggest it is actually from 1928.
I use this Reving dashcam with a 64GB SD card I got for ~10 off of Amazon too. I've had it for about a few months now, and it's already paid for itself. I didn't get into an accident, but a lady ahead of me did where a man did an illegal uturn and she t-boned him with no chance to fully stop. I don't know if it was insurance fraud or what the guy thought he was doing, but I was able to present my footage afterwards and very quickly help the police determine fault. If I had to get another dashcam, I would get one with a rearview monitor / face monitor on it as well as one with motion sensing like this one. Check out r/roadcam for more dashcam action too.
There’s also an app where you can check your voter status, track your ballot, view sample ballots, look up your polling location, etc.
Doing the 7x4 Challenge / Advanced in this app. So far it seems a little easy but from what I understand it ramps up pretty quickly.
