...How are you getting from PHX to hotel-near-arena? Might be a bit of an expensive cab ride, so I'm assuming a hotel shuttle?
Haus Murphy's is worth the Uber cab if you can find one up there and like German food. It's really tasty.
YardHouse is the most decent of the chains at Westgate, if you want to stay REALLY close.
Regarding reception, you're not Kings fans, and we're used to having our games overrun by opposing fans, so it's no big deal.
I also did gamecenter with a VPN through Private Internet Access. It was okay, but the quality was generally pretty terrible; considering we have exceptional internet and stream just fine, we determined that gamecenter was the culprit (out of market games without the VPN looked like shit too, so it wasnt the VPN).
I was worrying about what I was going to do as well, but my roommate just got a job with cox, so our cable is free lol obviously, this doesnt help you, but there unfortunately arent many great ways around it at this point in time :(
The simple answer is it is Googles re-imagining of the e-mail inbox. Messages really flow much better and it is a lot easier to keep everything organized than the traditional method.
You can read more about it here if you are interested.
High on Marner? The majority at this sub wants us to draft Strome!
Edit: /u/LoneWolfComando created a /r/coyotes survey about our 3rd overall preferences some time ago.
If it's worth it to you...there are free VPNs out there, tho I use HideMyAss, which is a paid one because I need the flexibility and ease of use. If you connect to a VPN, you will be able to watch all the games live.
It's a little late for this now but you can actually make NHL Gamecenter work in this situation. First step is to get a VPN extension for Chrome like Zenamte or Hola Unblocker. Second step is to set your location to Russia and go purchase NHL Gamecenter. If the NHL thinks you're in the U.S. they'll want $160 for Gamecenter. I set my location to Great Britain and only paid $100; later I found out Russia was even cheaper; somewhere around $60-$80 if I remember correctly. There's other countries that are also that cheap but I don't know which ones they are specifically so you'll just have to play around with it. Last step is to keep using that VPN to trick Gamecenter into thinking you're somewhere other than Phoenix. I had trouble accomplishing that with Hola but I've watched multiple games via Zen Mate that were supposed to be blacked out. I know this doesn't do you a ton of good this season but it's something to keep in mind for next year.
ProtonVPN has a free tier with no data limits. You can try it before you buy it.
But honestly, any of the VPNs are good. Worth the money for sure. Express, Surfshark, and Nord are typically the best reviewed.
If privacy is a big issue, not sure about Express since it was bought by Kape.
Its really too bad that games are so hard to watch as a local fan. It is ridiculous. I stopped chasing FoxSports/Bally Sports around and have no qualms using a VPN (or other means) to watch the games.
I took the test about 2-2.5 years ago and I know it's changed since then, so the book I used won't really help you. I would look for the most recent study guide you can (Like https://www.amazon.com/AFOQT-Study-Guide-Practice-Questions/dp/1628453834/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1492903873&sr=1-1&keywords=afoqt+study+guide+2017)
I haven't had any interactions with recruiting officers since I've been in the AFROTC program for the past four years (I commission in ~3 weeks). Are you trying to go to OTS?
The World of EA Sports (NBA Live 2004, Madden 2004, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004, NHL 2004, Nascar Thunder 2004) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0007U6JVC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_XXr2xbYP77ZJP
I bought mine from Amazon(bundle is cheaper and includes NHL 04) or you can find it for "free" on the internet.
