Everyone should have one of these in their vehicle. The link is just an example. You can buy them all over the place.

I'm so glad to hear this! :)
We also offer some fun outdoor adventure things- kayaking, hiking, horse back riding, etc. It could be a fun way to meet new people!
See what we offer here.
hoping this post doesn't turn into some kind of monkey's paw thing, because Pamela definitely has an appointment with us Thursday. hopefully she'll be kind.
And you'd be completely wrong too. Look at Vantage's website. They deal in both oil and gas. Who cares what the media calls it? They get things wrong constantly. "Vantage Energy is a growth-oriented, independent oil and natural gas company engaged in the acquisition, development and exploration of oil and natural gas properties in the United States,"
The Barnett Shale for example is huge for oil.
http://seekingalpha.com/article/188403-barnett-shale-the-latest-word-in-oil-exploration
And: "The site is among some Barnett Shale gas wells that also produce some condensate, or oil. Vantage Energy has operated the well site since the company acquired it from Silver Creek Oil and Gas in 2012."
Besides, the equipment on fire isn't used in fracking or natural gas at all. How hard is this to understand?
This has just become a pointless semantic argument now, and my give a shit factor has run out. Sigh. Kids.

Corinth Trail is pretty good (though admittedly, I am a beginner and don't have a big frame of reference). Check out www.corinthcycling.com.
A lot of us meet up at Reaper Miniatures. It's a pretty friendly atmosphere. The store owners are really cool, and the regulars are extremely easy to make friends with.
There’s a novel about this - a fictionalization account, called White Lilacs. I found it in one of the DISD classrooms when I was a substitute teacher. That was the first time I had heard about this.
It’s a fairly good read.
I got the Mohu Sky 60 from Amazon and installed it in my attic. I get all major channels (4,5,8,11,13,33). I have a HD Homerun for DVR and pausing. The signal on 11 and 8 can be weak sometimes and cause issue with it, but I don't notice anything when watching live. I'm in Corinth so your results may vary.
I've been scoping out myself and from looking online, the best script I've seen is from Zombie Joe at Dark Age on the Square.
Let me know where you end up.
Dan's Silverleaf is dog friendly! Or there's supposed be a pretty cool dog park right - https://maps.google.com/maps/place?oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&ie=UTF-8&q=denton+dog+park&fb=1&gl=us&hq=dog+park&hnear=0x864c4ca0c088b1d1:0x724474cb4814fb1b,Denton,+TX&cid=72803661057251099
Thank you Andrew Morris! Yes, if you can't make it to the Zoom event (link to attend at 7pm: https://zoom.us/j/95086298283?pwd=aUgrcDBJSlgvMDVvV3JxVWZRY25pQT09 ) then the resource doc will remain up for weeks to come. It is supposed to make this activist-thing easy for busy people and parents.
We (the community) will need to send emails each week as the buck is passed around so this will not be the only power-hour event.
We offer a Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid and CPR class. The course meets the regulatory requirements for child care workers and teaches first aid, CPR, and AED skills for kids.
This is a great course and we offer it once a month. The next course is Oct. 6 at the MLK Jr. Rec Center.
Let me know if you have any questions!
According to Weather Underground, it's a 70% chance from 7am until after 9pm. Suday, it's only raining before the sun comes up. The year before last we had rain right before the festival, and the entire park was one giant mud-pit.

Hi!
Denton Parks and Rec offers a few adult tennis classes that might interest you at the Goldfield Tennis Center.
We offer adult singles and coed doubles, beginner and intermediate classes and private lessons. You can see the most recent class list in the 2014 Fall/Winter PLAY! Guide. I'll be linking the codes to the online registration hopefully today or tomorrow.
You can always call Goldfield about classes at (940) 349-8526.
I just bought one recently, it's super fun, but I landed in a lake on the first flight. Dried up fine and after reset still flies true! The camera function is awesome!
Syma X5C 4 Channel 2.4GHz RC Explorers Quad Copter w/ Camera http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KI03U8Q/
I got extra batteries, they're a bit tough to go in the quadcopter, but they last longer, about 10 minutes, rather than 7.
My sister has four crazy pups. Lives in Ft. Worth. Two of them are rescues that were neglected/abused and are neurotic, which has led to them barking. . . And has subsequently become a problem for all four, haha.
She tried this sort of device. It doesn’t hurt them or anything but it’s helped a lot, from what she says! You might check it out.
Casablanca is a pretty damn good classic movie (Shocking I know) I highly recommend to people that haven'y seen it.
Furthermore, if you ever think of a movie you want to watch but aren't sure which service offers it JustWatch is a damn good site that shows you where to stream, rent, or buy.
If you would like a more in depth dialogue on civil liberties in times of crises, check out this podcast that does have a legal scholar that discusses this exact question. Flashing for Metro PCS. In some cases, you can also use a verizon phone for MetroPCS coverage because they both run on CDMA networks; however, that's largely a case by case basis. If you can get your hands on one, worth a shot at least. That'll open up your options some. What's the make/model of the phone?
I'm sure you've already hunted on mass job sites like Indeed, but there seems to be quite a few customer service opportunities in a 25 mile radius of town. Several of them are right here in Denton. Obviously pay is something you have to consider, but I just thought I would offer some encouragement.
Good luck! I hope you enjoy Denton.
This. McNatt Animal Shelter is just up Locust a bit from University. It is a nice shelter with a very low euthanasia rate, so many people do take lost animals there to get reunited.
But yes, also check and post on Nextdoor.com, because some people refuse to take found animals to the shelter and assume that if the owner didn't put a lost post on Nextdoor, that the owner didn't want the animal or is a bad owner. (I've read several posts where people tried to adopt out animals that they've found without checking with the shelter or a vet.) This seems to happen a lot with kittens and small dogs, which people like to adopt and don't want to pay an adoption fee for, so definitely put a post on Nextdoor.
Aww yeah! Thanks! You guys really make my job super easy some times. :)
We have adult dance lessons in two places. The ones offered at Denia Rec Center and the ones at the Senior Center (don't laugh- dance classes are open to adults all ages, and they have GREAT instructors).
Basic Progressive Country
Intermediate Progressive Country
Honky Tonk Dancin' (no partner needed)
Tap Dance
Country Western Line Dance (beginner and intermediate)
Middle Eastern Dance
Social Dances (these change every month- May is Advanced Slow Dance, and Intermediate Tango)
I dj there twice a week for 90s night (tuesdays) and 80s night (thursdays). Both nights have a nice dance floor crowd that sprouts up around midnight. My favorite beer on the wall is Shiner Black.
I love setting up shows there as well. July 1st, I'll be throwing my 3rd annual "INDENTONDANCE DAY".
Service has always been a priority for the staff, and I guarantee you will find them quite knowledgable on drink choices and anxious to help you get what you like.
The main improvement I would like to see is in lighting, they've been going out for the past few years, and management should really upgrade the whole system.
Seems like hooking up to a large rechargeable lithium pack would be a lot cheaper in the long run. Someone could set him up with a battery + inverter for like $2-300. Given the thing probably runs on 12v DC, an inverter may not even be necessary; just a LI car battery and a spliced together power cable. Though, if it's a different voltage it's less straightforward.
If that thing takes 6 AA batteries a day (just spit-balling), that's $10-20 batteries in a week. A 10 AH LiFePO4 battery + charger will run you ~ $100 on Amazon. Put the whole thing in a box (a cheap toolbox from HD) with a handle for easy transit.
Communism is when people try to stop the bad parts of Capitalism lol
here you go, read up and learn a thing or two about what you're talking about.
Here ya go chief
Zinus Memory Foam 12 Inch Green Tea Mattress, King https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00Q7EPV8O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Q6GqCbXQP6V80
I have this one, you can get the less thicker ones if you want to save some money.
haha It's called Da Bomb - The Final Answer, and it's around 1,500,000 Scoville units. I got it at Hot Licks in LA and had to sign a waiver. Usually I mix only about a drop or two into whatever sauce I'm feeling for my wings/whatever and it kicks things up to 10. One 2oz bottle costing $25 sounds like a lot, but it lasts a while because I only use a drop or two each time I'm in the mood for an ass kicking. lol Man, one drop in a batch of mac and cheese is heaven.
Anyways, I actually misrepresented myself earlier, I'm currently still in LA until sometime in May in which I'm moving back to Denton, but I'll probably be bringing my bottle with me haha
I am on the second floor, but it's a shared balcony and I'm not too sure if I could pull that off with my management.
I could maybe see a pair of U bolts and put it along the south facing railing. Only problem is running it into my apartment.
Edit: Well this looks promising to get the cable run through a window.
Yeah, you need a line of sight directional antenna to get those other channels. We're at the edge of their coverage zone without one, and since everything went digital it's an all or nothing thing.
I have one of these which isn't huge, but for the best reception it really needs to be on a roof. If you're on the second or third story and have a south facing balcony you could still make it work. But the angle is pretty important. We had our roof replaced this spring and the roofers didn't get it quite right so we haven't had channel 8 ever since. I've been too lazy to go up and recalibrate it, but it can definitely pick up 8 and 4 if you install it correctly.
Second link is editorial, but first is not an editorial - see the middle portion of the material of the first link (mainly Chapters 9-21) - very important in order to understand my argument.

It was mounted to an interior wall behind my tv but we stopped picking up a few channels, so I took it down and it's currently just sitting on my media cabinet under my tv. It's about 10 feet from an exterior wall. My roommate has one that looks like this and it's mounted right next to a window on our west wall and she picks up channel 8 most of the time, as well as all of the other channels.
I have this one mounted on my roof. It's worked well for years. I don't recall there being ranged models when I bought it, but it was about $100 in 2012. You'll need a clear line of sight of the southern horizon for the best reception due to the distance we are from the DFW towers. Higher is better; you'll want at least 25-35 feet off the ground. The top of a 2 story home is easily high enough. YMMV with a 1 story without a taller mounting pole.
this one looks to be the only one that qualifies for Prime shipping, but I didn't go through all of the pages to verify...
It's not what you asked for but these things really are idiot proof.

We have one of these, works pretty good. Mostly use it to watch the news. Netflix, Hulu, and iTunes for most everything else.
