Hey all! This was my first time ever covering a drift event, although I was not official media! These were all taken from the stands and/or spectating areas. Let me know what you think and I hope to cover more events this summer!

Haha nope.. that is the gas tank itself on fire... Bit of a long story and I'm not exactly sure, but my theory is: My ecu was fried (large male ride along stepped on my ECU), Wasn't getting spark to due to the continuity in ECU. Had a friend solder and correct the continuity. Guessing the excess fuel from cranking with no spark was in the exhaust and I have a 3" axle back exhaust with my Neo set to run a bit rich closer to redline to keep motor cool, sooo fireballs happen often and I think this one was a bit larger than usual. I believe my O-ring on the gas tank is leaking and has very slight leak when filling the tank all the way up and ofcoarse the occasional spark from dead tires don't help the equation... Posi-locks are nice in case any wiring gets cut. It's rare but it can happen. Also Butyl Rubber Tape. It's very useful for many temporary repairs. I have even used it to patch a tire on the outside to get me to a tire shop. Tire would hold 40psi for about a day, long enough to get to a garage or home.
