10 pack of tubes (yes they are the squeeze to open) for $10 US
they fit an XL
I have this model it works really great. I would recommend getting the hands free mod from Ddave as well so you don't have to hold onto anything.
Totally cool with me, you can find the original cups on Amazon here. I know how to build these because other people shared their info too. Might as well do the same.
https://www.amazon.com/Up-Smoke-Pipe-Screens-Stainless/dp/B01HLDCQF0 got myself a 50 pack and they only cost 8 bucks compared to getting 3 for 5 dollars it’s a steal.
I’m pretty sure these are them they came when I ordered a Argo off someone
Hi friend! I’m not working with any physical disabilities but think a induction heater (IH) would be your best bet. Almost all of them can be operated with one hand, holding onto the VapCap as you press/hold it into the heater. There’s a cheap option on Etsy that’s a wax tool IH and runs about $25 or so.
The traditional way might not work since you have to spin it to give it even heating. You could always grab something like soldering ‘helping hands’ station and have two of the ‘hands’ holding onto the stem, as you move the lighter around the Cap. Hope this helps!
Edit: as to which Dynavap you could potentially get whatever you like best! I’ll try and think of a couple more ways you could use your VapCap without issue 🤙
Edit2: you could also try this out, Dynavap roast box and grab a butane single flame insert for a zippo. Check out the pics!
Not affiliated, but I found this case on Amazon that fits the wand perfectly with room for other necessities.
It's not though. I could pay 30 bucks at Harbor Freight for a safer and more customizable case that can travel. I can go on amazon and buy this and save about 200 bucks. Some of the weed accessories are very unreasonably priced.
Ti, installed concave up for airflow. This one's kinda beat up. Big holes=more cap airflow but you can get some bits through depending on your grind etc
get a cheap $4 Eagle Torch with safe stop I bought 6 different torches and 5 lighters before getting advice to use these little things and it’s all I use. Single flame, small flame. Heats the bud not just the cap. Everybody who knows what’s up will tell you small single flame. That’s what any avid user ends up using: small, single flame. Guaranteed. I think a 5-pack is $9.99 on Amazon.
Large Eagle is my most reliable torch. link It's popular here for it's large tank, cheap price and dependability. 4-pack is usually $13ish

I've been using one similar to these for a couple months. They do get a little warm after a couple of bowls but I haven't had any problems with them beside the occasional flame height change. I also like that you don't have to manually keep the lighter activated. It will stay on until you turn it off. This makes it easier to do multiple bowls back to back. Plus the flints are cheap and easy to replace so you don't have to worry about the electric ignitor crapping out.

This one is my favorite.
I had issues with zippo and other cheaper butanes destroying my lighters. I picked up this 3 pack of big cans off Amazon because it was the best price I could find readily
I personally don't own one, but this $50 tabletop unit has been spoken of highly around here. Apparently the opening is a little bit large for the Dyna, but it works well enough if you hold your device in place while it's heating, and is fairly simple to get an adapter to allow you to heat hands off. So, neiterh as fancy nor as pretty as the purpose built jobbies, but hey, it's also a quarter of the price.
Dont quote me on this because I am not sure what type of magnet they use but I have used rare earth magnets before and those things look like the one in the dynastash and they are super strong. just google rare earth magnets...you can get them on amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XD2X45M/ref=s9_acsd_top_hd_bw_b1NcM6l_c_x_w?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-3&pf_rd_r=W6YR9F9WSGGQ8D2Q9PXA&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=a9b59d08-5252-5d67-bf88-a2ac96acd022&pf_rd_i=...

I found another lighter like this called the SOTO pocket torch, based on amazon reviews it seems more reliable than the Iroda, and the SOTO also appears to be more compatible with other lighters. Not trying to undermine your Iroda but the SOTO pocket torch also seems like another great option for a dynavap! I’ll include the amazon link so you can take a look.
https://www.tinkercad.com/things/byNcMRr3i3e-copy-of-dynavap-induction-heater here you go. You might have to edit some parts because I self made it to where all the parts I ordered fit the holes, and slots in the case so there is no need for gluing.
I have all but 3 of the titanium tip versions that have been released so far, here's a pic of them http://imgur.com/a/aZS8zBG, the only ones missing are the gen 1 and 3, and the limited edition 7 fins; if you want to know anything about a specific tip feel free to ask. I like the new Vong tip quite a bit.
Did you get any conditioner for the wood? If not you should pick some up, it'll make it look a lot better and it'll protect the wood. Every couple of months I use this stuff on all my wood pieces https://www.amazon.ca/Howard-BBC012-Butcher-Conditioner-12-Ounce/dp/B001ESTA30/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=howard%27s+butcher+block+conditioner&qid=1627760711&sprefix=Howard%27s+Butchers+Block+&sr=8-3, it works just as well as the Dynawax, or any of the other wood vape brand conditioners, but it's much cheaper. I bought mine at a local hardware store, it's pretty easy to find. Any food grade wood conditioner will do though. Only apply it to the outside of the stem.
And don't forget to clean the bowl and condenser tube well before first use, they can be pretty nasty when new.
My first concern would be the carbon buildup. I have never tried with anything but butane or IH, though. I did pick up this Zippo torch insert that worked well, but stopped sparking after a few months of use. Zippo has an official one as well, but I didn't like this one as much.
I wish I could link the one I am using currently because I am really liking it so far, but I got it at a truck stop and it has no branding haha.
BUY EAGLE TORCH WITH START STOP REFILLABLE MINI SINGLE TORCH FLAME LIGHTERS
You won’t be disappointed. I guarantee you buy one for about $3 at or if you buy that $10 multi-pack I posted, you’ll never want or need another one again for at least 3 years. They’re refillable easily and work great at not just heating the outside of the cap real quick without actually thoroughly baking the weed inside. With Eagle Torches they make take a little longer to heat that a massive flame torch but that’s a good thing. They use very little butane and after buying 6 torches off all different sizes and # of flames….I’ll never use a different torch again. Trust me on this.
This one has lasted me over a year.

The reason I asked is because the magnet came off of my Dynastash and when I got in touch with Dynavap about it, they recommended a high temp paste that's a metal filler, not an adhesive, on top of which isn't recommended for wood. Most superglues may not be good at high temps. I'm looking to use J-B Weld 8265S Original Cold-Weld Steel Reinforced Epoxy to reattach it but I don't like the fact that it cures to a dark grey plus I have a feeling that the magnet will no longer be flush with the case but I can't find anything else that looks like it will work. Here's a link to it on Amazon.
Nice. I was also looking at that one!
This is my current fav. I bet you could stick a magnet in the holder part. I haven’t gotten around so it. Either way, it’s got a big tank and is roughly the same height as the XL dynas

This torch is great. You can find it cheaper, but this is a link just to see it.
I have the cheap Eagle torches but they will fail with longer heat up times once they get hot.
This one is considered "industrial" yet is still pocket sized.
Definitely get a can of butane because you're going to be burning through it very quickly (pun intended.) Honestly though, aside from a grinder that leaves your flower not too fine, and a torch lighter with some butane, that's all you really need, which is the beauty of the whole thing. I did purchase a second torch lighter off Amazon as a back up. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088WK58KX/
The big round ones are cool and all, but I have too many dynas to have a bunch of single magnets around my vape table so I use these as the three magnets in a row are more convenient for me.

that's the item i bought and i infact just purchased it again while finding it for you! cuz the lighters have not given out since i bought them and they grip my caps enough to make it worth it. Also comes with a small can of butane which cant hurt.
I prefer these over the fatter/larger 3 flames (with a cap that auto-pops open). The flames all come out straight which really helps with aiming the heat on the cap where you want it.
If you buy them I hope you enjoy as much as I have

torches heats up faster, clean burning blue flame, refillable with can of quality butane (should last a few weeks vs days with lighters),
been using this single flame torch with good predictable results. nice 2 pack to swap around when one gets too hot.
Just finished up the modular battery pack accessory, I've started sending some out :) basically just making a custom clip and wire to adapt an off the shelf battery pack that is safe and at a competitive price point. 10 bucks on Amazon. . You will want to get extra wicks, and you can get ethyl alcohol at any hardware store.
Here is my favorite dual-flame. All metal construction and so far it lights every time. Doesn’t have a massive butane chamber, but it lasts me a couple sessions before a refill. I have two and rotate so I always have a full one if I need it.

I've got the solution for this!! I did my build using a 18mm-14mm adapter, and it's smaller enough to hold the dynavap "up" but it will lean, and it has plenty of space for my BB9.
I love this thing, the single flame gives me much better results than the 3-flame torch from Dynavap. Although I just realized it doesn’t exactly match the image they advertise, mine has no flint-wheel thing (I like it better my way). $7.99! Pretty small tank though.

I've bought colbri in cigar shops and off amazon had problems similar to you...always thought it was the lighters.
Then I used some vector 14x refined we had which Id normally only use for an extraction not on my lighters as its a bit more expensive and bam all my lighters worked perfectly.
edit heres links
Im not sure if its the same brand making the lighters and the butane it could be though. Goodluck man.
edit: heres a link smallest can $8
Once you realize how well it works heres the $20 option that lasts forever cause the cans are huge.
I, like you, had a cheap single-flame torch when i first got my Dynavap. I hated how long it took for me to hear it up as well, especially in windy or cold areas. I found these triple flame torches with great reviews on amazon and decided to order them. They come two to a pack at around $15 for the pack. So far, they’re very reliable, but I’m not too worried about that since they come with a lifetime warranty. and heat up my M much, much faster than my original single flame lighter.
https://www.amazon.com/RAAM-Double-Flame-Lighter-Metal/dp/B0771SLXYQ/ref=sr_1_35_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1535847692&sr=8-35-spons&keywords=scorch+torch&psc=1 I have one like this but the brand is scorch torch. I was gifted it, and after looking for my exact model for about 2 minutes this was the closest match off of amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GAES9TY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I also own this exact lighter, but it gets much less use since for some reason the entire thing gets hot (up to about 120 F after 2 capfuls)
I like the single flame torch Troy uses with dynavaps on the 420vapezone videos and just ordered one -- it is metal so it's an extra surface that can be used to speed up the cooldown click. From the pics on amazon it appears that it will stand up on end, but I've only seen Troy lay it down flat. I'm not sure if is stable when stood on its' end or not. It looks comfortable to hold and not too big though. About $11.00 including shipping.

I like the Silo (don't have one) but it's certainly the stealthiest and airtight, and you can also use doobtubes or get an appropriate sized titanium pill holder off amazon or somewhere for storing flower. Then you should be able to keep your vapcap and a couple of kinds of flower ready, airtight, and easy to conceal since you could put each container in a different pocket, keep them together, or whatever.

The 'cheap' futostashes are more economical than the dynastashes, and look a bit nicer, IMHO. But if I ever get one, I'll probably be a sucker for the more expensive galaxy burl ones as well.

Also, get a torch with some metal on the body and that will help with speeding up cooldown clicks. I have this one -- around $11 -- and my only complaint is that the flame height adjustment is not a large knob but the smaller flathead screwdriver type: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07K3ZHVWSI got turned onto this model by Troy on 420vapezone who uses it on some of his review videos and says he loves it.
Sure thing!

I’ve had the same problem, and not really tbh. My favorite torch is my vector. I’ve had it for 2-3 months and it hasn’t failed me yet.
I got this charger unit for $20 and 4 LG HG2s for $20, so $40 total.
But you can use the cup to charge; it comes with a power cord and has BMS, so you don’t really need the charger (or extra batteries). That way you’re only out $10 for a set of batteries
Try and release the pressure by pressing down the pin on the bottom. When you no longer hear any sound, fill with good butane. Hope that works out. Also look into getting a single jet flame torch
https://www.amazon.com/Eagle-Single-Lighter-Windproof-Refillable/dp/B077PQPDQQ
The one in the picture is the Honest Single torch. Found on amazon here Unfortunately, possibly due to me buying cheap butane (Zippo) it stopped working and appears clogged after my first session which was right after I took this picture. Will be buying some Colibri to try to fix it. Fortunately, I was indecisive and picked up their 2 torch variant here and that worked perfectly
i recommend this butane torch lighter from amazon. it's got a huge chamber and it's translucent so you can always see how much butane there is left. if you really want to avoid a butane torch i would recommend a good old bic lighter, i really enjoy vaping with them. a clipper tube lighter or a kitchen tube lighter are also good options since the flame is farther away from the wheel. op's alcohol lamp also seems like a really good method though and i really wanna make one now. btw, when heating a dynavap with a soft flame you should always try to keep the cap lower in the flame so that it engulfs it and stays blue. you don't want to see any red fire when heating the cap.
I actually got this for like $12 on Amazon, so I'm not mad at all!
I figured that would give me some extra to try out some ideas, and give me a reason to buy some new tools :)
Aomai torch, lives up to the hype! Got mine from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KCHGYP7/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_py92EbRVVGH5Z
It can be found for half the price on some websites with way longer shipping time. I'd try searching in the sub if you'd want that, I think one of the sites was fasttech or something
Got this from my local headshot. Amazon: RAW calls it cigar style tube. lol. I keep an Omni in it.
Nice work!
Get yourself some cork from Amazon, this size fits in the bottom of a 14MM joint. Easy way to give yourself a bottom for the coil. Trim it down to not hold the DynaVap up too high.
I had to bend the one end of the spoon a bit so it would fit in my altoids container. It’s okay but I think a pair of tweezers might work better. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074144KGT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_0k7GCbAHNPMZF
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09WK1YH59? I have been using this. Comes in a pack of 2 an working well for me. The price seems to of gone up since I got it though! Swear I paid 11, now it's 18..still for 2x not too bad IMO.
I'm loving this one for home use:
I can set it to barely a flame without any sputtering. The rotating head is a feature that I didn't know that I needed until I got it. Vertical for my dynavap and horizontal for use with my sticky brick OG. The tank lasts me 3 days without filling.
It is too big for on-the-go use, I have another for that, but for at home or camping this is the only torch I use.
I love my Zippo insert, but as others have said... not a huge tank. THIS thing, however, has a massive tank, and has been great for me the past 4 months so far...

it is pretty convenient being able to take it with me anywhere. this is the one i used but i had to solder them both together to get a decent heat time though.
I have searched long and far and I have found the perfect solution. It's a cheap case from amazon and it holds my wand, dyna, mh reload and eye drops.
Here is a pic of all the stuff in the case: https://imgur.com/a/mXil2GX
I bought these. They are easier to set than the Dynavap CCD's. I use the Simrell masterkey to set them at half bowl, but you could you a pencil. They sit slightly concaved. The airflow is great.
Here’s the link for them. Just remember, you need to use a pair of scissors to trim some off. I cut one strand off around the entire outer edge. They are a tad too big as they come to fit in the half bowl, but they will fit full bowl with the screen having a bow to it. Made in The USA - 50 3/8 Inch... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HLDCQF0?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
OP, are you using this kind of board by any chance? This board seems quite popular in DIY spaces but it's actually not a BMS, it's just a protection board that disconnects the batteries when it detects a failure condition (under-voltage, over-voltage, over-current). It needs a seperate, proper lithium-ion charger to control the charge process correctly, and AFAIK doesn't allow balanced charging unfortunately.
I was using this torch for general use before I bought my Dynavap, and it worked pretty well until I splurged on a wand, which I adore. But it's probably the best "cheap" mini torch I've used, much more reliable than I was expecting it to be.
I have recently discovered pumice bars for cleaning oven racks. Man, they work exceptionally well.
I bet it would clean the cap right up. But, it will likely scuff/scratch the cap.
I'll second Honest torches. I've used this one for over 2 years before i got an induction heater. Adjustable flame size and can also do a soft flame like a Bic lighter. Bleed out the air prior to each refill along with quality butane and it should hold up for years. Only cons i found were some screws come loose but can be tightened with a small Philips head and the tip gets hot during extended use. That's expected with any torch, though
I have a single torch Zippo insert that I've had for YEARS. Doesn't have the biggest tank, but it does the job.
I also just bought this one a couple weeks ago, and so far, so good:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QD5WWBH?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
These work great, easy on the fingers (I have arthritis), and have lasted quite a while. The second one is my favorite for dynavaps because I don't need to continue to hold the trigger, but they both get a lot of use and I highly recommend them.

M and some cheap single flame torch lighters!
It doesn't answer your question but someone on here a while back recommended a surface pro pen case to hold a BB9 and it fits perfectly. I haven't broken mine since getting this.
I got these a few weeks ago and the weed is pretty good in them for a few days.
I used small Eagle brand torches (sold at like every gas station and head shop) with pretty good success. I eventually went up to a kitchen torch from Amazon for $15 or so. I found it to be the largest flame I could consistently use for my dynavap. A dab torch is too much and some small torches are just too small. The kitchen torch won't last as long as a good dab torch, but the part that fails can be fixed easily with a small wooden dowel or pencil or something like that shoved inside.
If money is no object or if you want to "buy once, cry once" then Blazer brand torches are the way to go. They have a badass pocket-sized one that I'd seriously consider if I didn't already have an induction heater. I'm happy to have left loud, hot torches behind for good.
Tried something that is I think is basically the same thing.
It didn't work unfortunately, just doesn't get hot enough. Spun my DV over it for about 2 mins but just doesn't get up to click

This one. When you're done you can make smores.
You’ve inspired me to try the mesh screens - i just ordered some stainless steel ones on Amazon. I think what I’m gonna do (if I like them better than dyna screens) is just replace them with a new one every few days like you do, but collect all of my discarded ones in a jar or something so I can clean them all at once by soaking in iso then a quick rinse in a colander. That way I don’t have to buy them again, and when switching between so many so often, it will ensure none of them are too heavily used/mangled

The outside velcro flap fits these carbon filters PERFECTLY:

Also consider that if any smells are lingering - it’s probably on your breath! Maybe make a habit of chewing some gum after committing the act.

I really like this one Scorch Torch Matador Single Jet Flame Butane Torch Cigarette Cigar Lighter (Gunmetal) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OC00ESC/ref=cm_sw_r_apanp_O78Gn9hfHoHQC
Between that and two Aomai I am completely satisfied and not even interested in looking for other lighters.
I used these titanium screens They fit perfectly and are concave so the press fit once flattened.
Something like these work better than regular Q-tips https://www.amazon.ca/Fu-Store-Applicator-Applicators-Eyeshadow/dp/B08MBRFPN9/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?crid=4SFUBNR9H6T8&keywords=wood+handle+cotton+swabs&qid=1659023905&sprefix=wood+handle+cotton+swabs%2Caps%2C182&sr=8-1-spons&psc=.... I buy them from a local pharmacy.
LinkCheck out one of these
Yeah, I was really surprised by the quality for the price (considering Sneaky Pete sells the same thing for $65) & the Amazon page I ordered it off of disappeared the next day on top of it, I thought I got scammed at first.
This Is the case if anyone is interested. I've been looking for something like this for a while, so thought as share as I'm sure others will be interested
It works but yeah, it'll get very sooty. Try an alcohol burner, I have this one and it works well https://www.amazon.ca/Alcohol-Burner-Heavy-Walled-Stainless-Explosion-Proof/dp/B081W6HLZ6/ref=asc_df_B081W6HLZ6/?tag=googlemobshop-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=459344743883&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=12668359901715259131&hvpone=&.... A single flame jet lighter with the flame set as low as it'll go without sputtering will work better though, IMO.
Maybe something like this???
Yeah I don’t really feel safe with it in my pocket either - I usually keep it in this, which then lives in my backpack.

I don’t really use my Dyna “out and about” though

20 pack of 20 ml vials from Amazon. If you have multiple strains these are great for pre grinding and having a variety on hand.
