Between the types or brands?
Everything is different.
I'd recommend reading up on the types of switches.

Here are two links to help explain it for you.
Once you have read these I'll answer any other questions you have.
Other differences between keyboard will be the Keycaps which vary in quality, layout, size, LEDs, Build Materials, software, ports, cable, extra keys. There are many of things that make keyboards different.
(Not sure if this works with Linux, but it works on my Mac and Windows computer) I got the Mamamiya 3200 DPI Gaming Mouse for $14 (£12.55) on Amazon, and I love this mouse! The ergonomics is great, it has adjustable DPI settings, and it has two buttons that you can program, not to mention that it's super cheap! I've had this mouse for about a year now and the only problem that I've had with it is that sometimes one of the lights inside stays red, but that's no biggie. It's not available right now on amazon, but here's the link!
Are this keycaps not that bad for the Anne Pro? Want white pbt translucent keycaps for the lightning, and would buy the black Anne Pro and change the keycaps for thw white that I put the link so it match my white g703

Been using it for years and it's amazing. In your budget as well.
Thanks for the reply.

I can live with that. Will that do the trick, or would I be a lot better off spending a bit more? This is a one-time thing. I don't need anything that's going to run newer games or anything.
I second the HyperX. I bought them recently and I've been very happy with them. I use them as a headset for my phone (for work) also.
How do I tell the difference between the old one and the new one?(Is this the new one?) I have Windows 10, but my computer does not seem to have Bluetooth, so I will favor one with a cable. I really appreciate the help and patience. :)
Forgive my ignorance, but will the Xbox One controller work with any game?
A fair amount of the reviews seem fairly negative.
I just got the HD 598 c's because there was a crazy flash sale a while ago. I have only ever used that product from this company and like it a lot. Sounds great, noise cancelling is next level, and it's comfortable. My 1 gripe was that the mp3 cable wasn't long enough for me.
Edit: Actually looks like it's on "sale" again https://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-HD-598-Cs-Headphone/dp/B01JP436TS/ref=sr_1_1/163-1316904-4758962?s=aht&ie=UTF8&qid=1482962073&sr=1-1&keywords=sennheiser+hd+598
I recommend the Kingston HyperX Clouds. They come with 2 types of ear pads: leatherette and velour. I prefer the velour because they are light over my ears and breathe better. You can literally have a conversation with someone else while wearing the headphones with the velour pads on.
Hmm interesting. I wish there was a store I can go to and try out various headsets because it's really hard to know without actually hearing them.
This is my current headset and I've had it for 4 years. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0053OLY9O/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It works very well, blocks out all over noises, has good audio quality, is wireless and really seems to let me hear positions well. I say seems to because I game with some guys that have Astro headsets and I'm calling out things like "Reaper back left, etc" and none of the people with the Astros seem to hear it so either these are better than the Astros or I just have better hearing than they do. No one complains about my mic sounding bad or anything.
What it's been doing as of late is blacking out on me for 10 seconds. So I'll be playing and it drops signal so I can't hear or say anything and then it comes back. It's annoying. But there is so much conflicting info on headsets that I'm struggling making a decision. I mean these were $80 headsets and I'm rather happy with them all around except for this recent signal drop issue and I've had them 4 years so I'm hesitant to spend the $300 on Astros or the $150 on Senns without knowing that they are at least as good if not potentially better than the $90 PS4 Gold Headset I could get instead.
get this and set it to breathe the same color as your keyboard. i have the k70 on red and the mouse dimming from off to redand it looks hella bad ass
Another one you can look at is the logitech G930 which is on sale on amazon for 80$. It is wireless, 7.1 and loved by many. Though the hyper x cloud 2 is still a great option. Amazon Link: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Wireless-Gaming-Headset-Surround/dp/B003VANOFY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1464985062&sr=8-1&keywords=g930
I'm not sure how cheap you're looking for, but if you want a good working one, a mechanical keyboard is highly recommended, but a real mechanical one is expensive, like $60 to $70 a piece. Instead, a mechanical feel keyboard is good enough for you to play games, I got one here: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DSSX322
depending what your looking for, this cheap gaming keyboard could work. Cheap Gaming Keyboard
Thank you for your suggestions. Those are pretty close to what I'm looking for.
After another total 4 hours of research, I think I've found the perfect headphones for my needs... or, at least, as close as I'm going to come to "perfect". Decent audio quality (lacking in bass, but I'll live); adjustable boom mic with in-line controls and a mute function enabled by locking the mic in an upright position (very neat feature, no blind fumbling when a quick mute is needed); uses only one 3.5mm jack and includes a USB extension, but reportedly works fine with a splitter. Yeah, yeah, I know, it's a first-party accessory. That doesn't bother me, and besides, it's the best thing I've found in my price range.
Before I buy, what do you think? Do you have any personal experience with these headphones? Something I should know?
Well my favourite mouse for CSGO is the Final Mouse it's not an Ambidextrous Mouse but it's still an amazing mouse. Here is a good Review. It is now my recommend mouse for CSGO. The steelseries rival 300 is also a great choice I would rank it about the same as the G303.
If you have money to spend I would suggest Razer Naga as was already mentioned, but if you're looking for a budget mouse check out UtechSmart. Link to: amazon
hey hey
I have using the Razer Deathadder for about 3+ years and highly recommend it. Play with it on cs:go and when I have game time on ffxiv. Just purchased the new chroma version still yet to use it as my current one is still in awesome condition. Not sure about other Razer products but I know from word of mouth and experience the deatheradder is great! http://www.amazon.com/Razer-DeathAdder-Ergonomic-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B00AAS888S Hope that helps!
What about these have a better sound stage? Would something like this
Is it the larger driver that helps?
The Philips SHP9500 is currently very popular on /r/headphones, pair it with the VModa BoomPro and you should have a nice setup.
This one looks very solid. It has the 6 outlets on the side that or more spread out, useful for any plugs with a weird shape that would take up space and cover up other outlets. It is also marked down from $50 to $22 so you are getting a pretty solid deal out of it. I'm not exactly an expert with surge protectors though, so if this one doesn't look all that good to you just let me know and I will look into it some more :)
I've had the logitech G500 for 5 years now, and I absolutely love it. It is still in perfect condition, and if it ever does break, I'll be getting another. It's durable, smooth, has two extra buttons, and is wired. As for a mouse pad, I agree that it is annoying to have limited space to work with. That said, I got the steel series mouse pad, which is huge. It's 17.7x15.7 inches, and even playing games like data 2 and CS:GO, I never have a problem with reaching the edges.
I just recommended this to someone else as well but it seems really good and fits all of your guidelines. Redragon M601, it is normally $60 but is $14 on amazon, braided cable, 2 side buttons, #1 highest rated gaming mouse on the site. If you need anymore help let me know :)
I have a couple of options. The Keyboard you linked seems excellent and I think you would be extremely satisfied with that. But I have two others to show you.
Logitech G105 is cheap, and has backlit keys and programmable keys.
Genius GX-Gaming Keyboard. It is a little over your price range, but it is legitimately mechanical, has usb and backlighting with 4 different brightnesses, and a bunch of programmable keys.
But honestly I think you found the best choice. You kinda beat us at our own game, I couldn't find any options that were a whole lot better haha. But best of luck to you and if you need any more help just let us know!
Hi there,
Sorry to overload you with options, but here is one more mouse to consider.
The Perixx MX-1000 is well under your budget, but has excellent reviews and is quite frankly amazing for the price you pay.
It features adjustable DPI settings, 7 programmable buttons, and 5 profiles. The cable itself is a gold plated USB, and comes with 1.8 metres of braided cable.
The only possible issue I can find about this is that the DPI is adjusted in increments of 500 (500,1000,1500,2000) and as such precision sensitivity can be a bit of a challenge.
But for only 16.99 euros this is amazing if you're on a budget. Plus it is available in 2 colors, standard grey metal and copper.
Possibly try the Superlux HD668b and a cheap mic like the Zalman.
The HD668b will sound better than headsets of a similar price.
Hi there,
Heres a suggestion for you, the logitech g303 Daedalus apex. Whie it is hailed as an amazing mouse for MOBA's, it is also outstanding for FPS's. It is also good for people with smaller hands (its kinda like a slightly scaled down deathadder), and for only 55$ (its on sale, 70$ normally) it shouldn't break the bank.
Hi there,
Just a word of advice to anyone else thinking of providing a suggestion, 80 CAD (Canadian dollars.) is NOT 70-75 USD, it is just over 60 USD. (At least at current exchange rate). Just letting everyone know.
So on to my suggestion. I suggest this pair of headphones. To start off with, it is well under your budget, (only 69.99 CAD). It has an overall 4 star rating on amazon.com (no-one from amazon.ca has provided a rating yet.) It feature 7.1 virtual surround sound, meaning it simulates a whole array of physical speakers. (This setting is not recommend for CS:GO as it can make pinpointing sounds a little bit harder.)
Reviews state that the sound quality and microphone quality are outstanding, but there is just one flaw. The headband on these headphones is quite delicate, so avoid yanking the ears apart to put them on your head. Fortunately, most people who broke their headphones said that the customer support was excellent in replacing them. They do come with a 1 year warranty, so keep the documentation just in case.
Anyway, hope that whichever pair of headphones you settle on serve you well, and have fun gaming.
Hi there,
I assume you want a USB adaptor, so here's a suggestion.
Seem's to have pretty solid reviews online, and is within your price range. Depending on the strength of your router, internet speed, and construction of your house (Some materials can cause interference) you may get good or bad internet speeds with this. I strongly suggest getting Ethernet, but I know that's not always an option.
I would go with Studio headphones. My choice is the AKG K240 Studio Here and you still have 30$ to buy yourself a nice lunch! :D
I would recommend this. Redragon M601, normally $60, but it's $14 on amazon. It has two extra buttons on the side, is wired, will work on any surface according to multiple buyer reviews, and it is the #1 highest rated gaming mouse on amazon. If you want to stick with Logitech, I would recommend to G502. Looks very impressive, has many programmable keys, weight tuning set, it is wired, but it is more expensive at $70. If you need more help just let me know :)
Which headset would you say is a better deal, the one you just suggested, or this one I found suggested in another sub?
This is about half the price of the Naga ($34.99), but has the same functionality. It has 18 programmable buttons (12 of them side buttons) and dpi options up to 16,400dpi. I'm not sure if this in your price range or not, but if so, it's a great buy.
What's your price range?
If you are willing to spend $50, the Razer Taipan is a great ambidextrous mouse! It has 2 side buttons on each side just like you wanted.
I couldn't find any 7.1 surround sound headsets that were in your price range and have good reviews. Stereo headsets with surround emulation are usually seen as even better than 7.1 surround sound, they come cheaper and they get better reviews. It is slightly over your price range, but I would say the HyperX Cloud Kingston is the best way to go. It is $77 on amazon but it is usually $150. Usually headsets cheaper than that either don't have good surround quality or are simply really unreliable and have bad reviews, so that would be my recommendation :)
If you have anymore questions just let me know, hope this helps :D
The Kraken looks very appealing. It has everything I want. The color options aren't great but that's not that important. The Cloud II is definitely a possibility, although it's mic isn't retractable, which is an extra bonus feature that has directed me more towards the Kraken. One other headset I've been looking at is the CM Storm Ceres 500. I really like the CM Storm brand (I use a Quickfire Ultimate for a keyboard), and it's compatible with PS4 which will save me the need to buy a converter, but the extra joints turn me off a bit. They're one more thing that can break. Also, the cups are a little thinner and the mic isn't retractable. Overall though, those three seem like my finalists. Thanks for the help. There are so many different brands that it's difficult to figure out the best place to look.
This is the best I could find, it was kinda hard to find something with everything you wanted for some reason. If this doesn't fit just let me know :)
