And if you prefer the stock, fatter bars, you can just cut off the plastic ends and mount it like a non-quick release band, that's what I did.
From a computer, http://connect.garmin.com > login with your Garmin credentials.
On the left, Training > Courses. Here, you will draw the course you want to take. Once you're done, save it.
Now, on your phone in Garmin Connect, go to the three dots (More) > Training > Courses > click on the course you created > three dots > Send to Device.
edit: When creating the course, switch to the OpenStreetMap layer as it'll typically have trails where Google doesn't.
Exported route from RWGS as a .fit file? If you connect your watch to computer and drop the file to Garmin/NewFiles folder, you should have it available through Courses menu.
Or connect RWGS to your Garmin account - https://ridewithgps.com/help/garmin-courses
Had exact same issue. Switched to this band and no issues. It must wick sweat better than the standard Garmin watch band.

I've switched to elastic bands. Have a Nick Mankey one which is great, also have a few off Amazon that are much cheaper but do the trick. I have a 6X and although it's got 26mm lugs a 24mm strap will fit fine. I got some for non Fenix watches and cut the clips off that lock onto the bar and just thread the bar through the strap. I'll come back with a link but they do a fine job, I think I paid £10 for 3 or something daft. They might not be as sturdy as a Mankey but they're fine.
Interestingly enough it’s an off-brand from Amazon.

For those looking for something like this. I bought a couple of these for road and mtb. Works great. Uses the watch strap to hold it in place. I'm not recommending this particular one, there are plenty of the same design on amazon. This was, at the time of my purchase, simply the cheapest option.

Edit: Didn't fully make this switch until I bought a chest heart rate monitor, but if you are doing the above, that won't hold you back. Keeps the watch right in front of your eyes.

Way more comfortable than the original one :)
I had the same exact issue.
Got a 1m cable, that solved it. I have no idea why Garmin thinks having a 25cm cable is a good idea...

I am MacOS user too. You need application called Android File Transfer.
https://www.android.com/filetransfer/
It is originally intended for accessing storage of Android phones but works with music enabled Garmin watches too.
Many of the newer Fenixes won't show up in Mac (including my own 6S). The fix I found was to download Android File Transfer - this was the advice from Strava:
>If you have a Garmin watch that supports music it will connect to your computer in MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) mode. You will need to use a utility such as https://www.android.com/filetransfer/ (works with Win or MacOS) in order to get the files off your watch. If you have Garmin Express installed, be sure and close that before proceeding:
>
>Open Android File Transfer.
>
>Navigate to /Garmin/Activity
>
>Drag the file (it will end in .fit or .tcx) somewhere on your computer.
>
>Select "Choose Files" from this page on the Strava website.
>
>Navigate to where you dragged the file from Android File Transfer.
>
>Select the file (it will end in .fit or .tcx).
>
>Press "Open"
>
>We will block any duplicate files when activity sync resumes so you won’t have to worry about uploading two of the same activity.
You can use Garmin Pay in the UK by signing up for a Curve card (https://www.curve.app/en-gb/) - it's free and effectively acts as a proxy debit card for your current credit/debit cards. I signed up a couple of weeks ago and it works a treat.
I have the 6s Sapphire with the dusty grey and rose gold. The only band I was able to find that looks good, was a magnetic metal band in rose gold. All the silicone bands look out of place.

I’ve been using the small band as my watch band on my Fenix 3, which is the same 26mm width as the 6x. Easy to adjust. Easy to take on and off.
I use one of these on my MTB and road bike and have no issues . For heart rate I have an HRM pro

Not from Aliexpress but I got these from Amazon pretty cheap and I’ve been real happy with them. They’ve taken a pretty good beating while mountain biking and at work.
I also ordered a few ones some time ago, but I don't use most of them due to a poor manufacturing and materials quality (nylon, leather and silicone ones). The only one in use from time to time is the Titanium bracelet purchased for about 30 Euro, it has reasonably good quality, but still worse than my preferred band from Amazon.

I've had since last May and it's been solid ever since. Wear daily and the pain is still in good shape.
just search amazon for "fenix garmin charger", there's a ton of sellers. you're looking for this:
Ah, gotcha! Here’s the pack of paracord I bought: GeGeDa Paracord,Paracord 550... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085TM1SMQ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
And I couldn’t figure out how to just buy the quick release connectors so I bought a fabric band with quick release connectors and then cut off the band: YOOSIDE for Fenix 6S/Fenix 5S... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZR4ZMTP?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Not the cheapest way to do it but it worked.
I then just looped the paracord around the pins in the connector pieces. A bit hard to get them through as it’s a tight squeeze so I used floss at first to help pull it through but later found that I could cut the paracord and burn the end, flattening it with a knife before it cooled, and then I could push it through. This was the most frustrating part of the whole thing.
Stem mount is this one: just put it on one of my bikes today: Best Tek Garmin Edge Mount
I’m interested in what kit you’ve got securing the light to the mount, and what kind of light you’re using.
I'm currently using this one with my 6x. It's for an apple watch, but the connectors are plastic and I easily cut them off with wirecutter pliers. Once they're removed, I was able to use the Fenix's pins with the band.
I can't recommend this band highly enough. It's been great.

I've recently got this one on Amazon (5 for less than 8€) https://www.amazon.es/gp/product/B071Z8HY5X/ and fits and looks great on my Fenix 5. No complain at all.
I have the Tempe. In order for my Fenix 3 to record temperature, I have to be recording an activity. If the watch is not doing anything, it won't connect to any ANT+ sensors.
As an aside, the Edge 520 will not connect to the Tempe, as it has its own sensor. But, even the 520 will need to be recording to get a temperature. Also, the unit itself generates a bit of heat, so it may not be very accurate.
Now, if I were to leave my watch, or 520 recording outside, in the cold, it would likely run out of battery.
I'm pretty happy with the Tempe, and it's got 4/5 starts on the Amazon:
https://www.amazon.ca/Garmin-Temperature-Sensor-Fenix-Outdoor/dp/B0092ZMXBS
I got mine for $30 at mec.ca though. And I've never had it below -10C.
Ancool and NotoCity (I think it's the same bands) both make good copies.
You can find a couple of different versions on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/NotoCity-Compatible-Fenix-Watch-Smartwatch/dp/B07ZYHDGP6

PULEN for Garmin Fenix 6X/Garmin Fenix 6X Pro/Fenix 6X Pro Solar Screen Protector
Woudl go for this one instead - known as yooside in Europe and Albenan in North America:
if you look at the picture you will notice that it has a solid bar across one end - that if the final latch piece - also look at the video on how to thread as you will see that it locks the inside velcro against your wrist and the outer strap (so very unlikely to ever come undone) and then prevents the outer velcro form pulling out, even it becomes unlatched - just turns the watch into a bangle (like with a metal strap). There is a bit of stretch to it, so you can tighten the inside velcro setting to ensure that you have to really stretch the nylon to get in on your wrist, then tighten the outer.
I went this route when I had the silicon buckle version pop a quick release when the watch got caught by a sheet (rope) under a couple of tons of pressure and almost ripped it off my wrist - fortunately felt the pull and managed to hang onto it. So for any heavy activity I know using this locking hook and loop nylon strap system and its been rock solid.

These, if you are based in th EU. Its available under another name in the US i think. Even cheaper if you order on Ali or something, but i wanted them delivered fast. Love em! (on the F7, so 22 mm).
Agree! Saw someone post a big list of different 3rd party straps with reviews on another thread, but I ended up going with these. Perfect fit, looks good, way more comfortable, inexpensive.
Sort of an oddball listing I suppose. Sold through Amazon UK. I actually ordered one about a week ago and the price was $575. Just arrived today (so delivery was MUCH faster than what was estimated in the listing)
I moved here from sea level (Southern California) about 12 years ago. It takes about 6 months to fully acclimate. Now I don’t really notice, but my blood oxygen level hangs around 92% (it was closer to 96 at sea level). I can run forever at sea level, but subsequently the higher elevation makes it harder to build muscle mass.
Interesting science thing: the reason you’re thirsty all the time is 1: it’s really dry here (very low humidity), but mostly 2: your kidneys are actually trying to dehydrate you because the lower oxygen levels make your red blood cells want to be closer together. Until you’ve been here long enough to produce more cells (effectively making your blood thicker) your body tries to compensate by flushing liquid to make your blood “thicker”. I’d wager you peed a lot as well as being thirsty all the time.
I have a desk job and I still make a point to drink a gallon of water a day. If I do less than that for 3 or so weeks I start to get chapped lips and nose bleeds. It just becomes a part of daily life. I have one of those gallon jugs with times on it so I can keep tabs on my progress throughout the day (https://smile.amazon.com/Gallon-Bottle-Marker-Motivational-Drinking/dp/B09NR5XM3B/)
I can also drink most people under the table at sea level 😂
I have this one and it's been good for me so far! Not sure if it's available by you, however. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B098J57KRT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I can't answer the OP's question, as I just purchased mine recently.
Chiming in to say you can find a 6x Pro for sub $450 on amazon right now. Potentially lower once black friday hits, but this could be black friday pricing as well.
Should also be noted that I thoroughly enjoy this watch and all it's features so far. Comfortable and helps provide a lot of useful insight.
I’m like 99% sure these are the exact ones I use.
Make sure that you do get the pack of 100. They’re incredibly cheap and YOU WILL have to change out the sticker occasionally.
Over time sweat, dirt, and just general grime under the sticker and it can start messing up the reading again.
You don’t have to change them very frequently, though. I preemptively change my stick every 2-3 weeks so I don’t ever worry about it not working.
I have these on my 6 pro, the main difference to your link is you Velcro both ends, no need for quickfit as they tuck through the bar gaps.
For $16 Canadian for 2 they were an impulse try, I haven’t removed them from my watch since they came in in July.

> It’s like wearing a bandana over a hard hat in a construction zone.
It's like wearing a bandana over a hard hat in a construction zone, if your hard hat cost $700 and was somewhere between less useful and worthless if the surface of the hard hat was dirty or scratched.
I've used these for years:
https://www.amazon.com/Suoman-Protector-Tempered-Sapphire-Anti-Scratch/dp/B07XY14JDV
They might be high-margin, but at $3 each I don't really care. I've only broken one of them and replaced one due to scratching after almost 8 years of abusing Garmin watches.
Yes, the glass is better in terms of reflections and contrast than the Sapphire.
For cycling Varia Radar (either from Garmin or from other companies - there are at least two other on the market right now) is a must. Cadence sensors are useful - or you can go directly to power (because power sensors always provide cadence).
As for chest strap I'd suggest HRM-Pro+, so you won't have to suffer when replacing the battery.
As for charging pod I recommend this one which is pack of two pods + protectors for the charging pins on the watch.
I ordered these for my fenix 7 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09Z2T6VNQ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details. I've only had them for about a week but I really like them way better than the rubber one that came with the watch. They are super comfortable and I like being able to make micro adjustments. They are for 22mm band though not sure if that would fit your watch though.
I have a bunch.
the garmin heathered nylon black strap for my f6 pro and I do love it. It’s sold out everywhere and 100usd - so it’s a bit of a reach price wise (I got mine from support due to the stock strap giving me a rash)
I have a normal 2 part nato band, and got extra spring bars from garmin support - solid option as well.
That said - recently I switch to these straps and 10/10 would buy them again and again. Most comfy and cheapest of all. The Velcro tabs are infinitely adjustable so I can tighten and loosen through the day (and I actually do a lot)
Onewly Compatible with Garmin... https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B09GY7RYST?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Personally I am not a fan of the garmin ones, as if the velcro comes off you will lose your watch - I personally don't find velcro as secure buckle, so if I do go with nylon I prefer to go with a hook and loop method which locks your strap in so it effectively becomes a bangle in the velcro gets loose. Also helps that Abenan/Yooside bands from Amazon market can be pretty cheap so can but 2-3 for the price of the Garmin (which helps as can swop over when one is drying).
The inner velcro locks in between wrist and outer strap; and the outer fastening velcro on the other side has a bar, preventing it from coming through the lugs, hence producing a bangle if the outer velcro gives way. https://www.amazon.co.uk/YOOSIDE-Ultralight-Garmin-Sapphire-Enduro/dp/B098NJ5GQW/ref=sr_1_10?keywords=yooside%2B26mm%2Bnylon%2Bquickfit%2Bstrap&qid=1664798759&sprefix=yooside%2Caps%2C93&sr=8-10&th=1
See the video on the provided link to see what I mean.
(note that velcro still holds well over 6 months later without any issues - my concern is more for my active sports where I have had the velcro ripped off by ropes etc, hence my preference for something that will lock it down - just set inner loop longer so bangle tighter - does have a bit of stretch so can stretch it over hand to get it on).
I consider Garmin's original a) too risky b) too pricy. While I am prepared to have the quick release functionality with buckle straps, I have an issue using it with velcro where the chance of velcro coming loose it too high.
I really like the Abanen/Yooside (depencs on your country - its the same strap - can confirm as I imported the one - same exact packaging) - as they way you thread it means the inside velcro is locked between your wrist and the outer strap, whereas the outer lockdown piece of velcro cannot get through the lug pin due to the end bar - effectively when you pull that side off you are left with a bangle, and as you can tighten the inner velcro, and the nylon has a bit of stretch you can leave it tight enough when unlocked so the bangle can only come off with effort.
Check the video on the side - very good at explaining how it works (to thread it on) - and you will see how I mean about how secure this nylon strap system becomes.
Would suggest buying at least 2 preferably 3 depending on how sweaty you get, as good idea to wash them when you get a bit sweaty to prevent smelling after a period. While drying I just thread a dry one through. Takes about 4-6 hours to dry properly though have used them wet when spending a day on the water and only changing that night without any issues (wash the salt out). So prefer to use 3 which you can get for less than the garmin strap. They take about 30s to thread and about 5 seconds to take off. So while not quite as quick as the quick release its still quick.
Once you get the 7s contact garmin support (they will ask for the Serial number of the device)let them know the issue , tell them you want the 6s style bars so that you can use your custom straps with the watch. They will send you one set of Fenix 6s bars free , every one after that will cost about 5-6$ US
Keep in mind you will need a removal tool similar to this but not this exact one
https://www.amazon.com/Spring-Bar-Tool-Replace-Stainless/dp/B0129CJNUY
This was just a quick google search to find some thing similar. You can find them cheaper or more expensive.

In order to remove the stock 7s bars you will need a cutting device. I used a pair of electrician side cutters and cut the stock bar in the center(after tapping up every inch of the watch in painters tap to make sure i did not damage anything else) then popped in the replacement ones from Garmin. Tactix 7 pro just fyi , slightly bigger version of what you got. Good luck and enjoy
Yes. This is the one:
https://www.amazon.com/Wahoo-TICKR-Monitor-Memory-Bluetooth/dp/B0881B7C42
I have not used it, but my girlfriend used that model a more basic strap. The benefit with the Wahoo is the straps are cheap and replaceable.
From a f6pro perspective I have the garmin heathered nylon strap and really do like it.
It’s nylon with a Solid core, so it conforms to your wrist and is quite stable.
That said I got this the first week of august and have been using them exclusively. 2 straps for $16 Canadian.
The nylon is supple and dries quickly when swimming, the Velcro holds well, and it’s infinitely adjustable. I find I subtly tweak it through the day.
These are super popular for a long over-the-coat option
I'm not familiar with the Whoop band, but after looking it up, this hook and loop band might fulfill your need. I have it for my Fenix 6s and find it to be super comfortable. Just be aware it's a bit smaller than the stock band - it's perfect for my tiny wrist, but is probably way too small for others.
you have definitelly overpaid :) 53CAD

i have this one, after moving to garmin from apple watch and having apple one that was same style.
i only had garmin silicone/rubber for 2 days - but it wasn't for me :)
To add this, I just bought this from Amazon and yeah, the 1 mm gap has been bothering me as well. :)
Have a few more of these coming in via Aliexpress, I will see if any of them (if they do reach me) are better.
I don't know how the Edge works, so I can't answer questions like 'does it work the same as Edge'.
On Garmins with offline maps:

So I guess the watch works quite similar to the Edge, without the voice diractions and without the possibility to look up an address (city+streetname). Be ware: the watch screen is much much smaller, so harder to see while cycling for example. But the advantage is: you will always have your navigation device with you. I like that.
You could try something like this around your bicep. It should be more accurate for HR too. Also, it would be under your sleeve and ok for use. Thinking about getting one of these for hockey.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075DKHH4R?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
These are very nice bands. I cannot tell the difference between the Amazon bands and the default black Garmin. Highly recommend.
On Wish the same costs 2Euro, identical. And those are super safe since no plastic or mechanical parts just strong nylon straps.
This one works great: https://www.amazon.com/Abanen-Ultralight-Wristband-Sapphire-Instinct/dp/B092Q6KJ5D/. It has a different brand name in other countries, but it’s all the same product. Very cheap, very durable and you can get an exact fit, which is more difficult with the expensive nylon straps from Garmin.
For charging, you could try one of these... no connection issues with mine and you get 2 for <$10, so you can keep one in the suitcase for travel:
yep! it's by far the most comfortable and I can adjust it to exactly the right tightness that I want at different times (like a little bit tighter when I'm mountain biking but a little looser when I'm just around home).
this is mine for my fenix 6
I agree with this.
Got a pack of three which lets me swap and put them in the laundry to keep the worst of the grime off. I also find it moves better with all movements.
My biggest issue is getting the watch off going through security as it tends to come off one side and I have to fiddle a bit to get it back on. I tend to just put it in my pocket and deal with it when I am able to.
There are a several sellers but this is just like the one I got.
all great advice. to make it a convenience get one of those dock like chargers https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07N18DX6Y . it will make charging easier and more stable than the cable that comes with the watch. haha i just tried it and i can wear my watch (somewhat inconveniently) while in dock
I don't know my wrist size off hand, but I just upgraded from a 245 music to a Fenix 6 Pro a couple weeks ago. It's exactly the size I was hoping for - definitely a little bigger than the 245 but fits my wrist well. I'm a guy, and I loved the 245, but it always felt just a smidge small on me compared to watches I'd worn in the past. I had debated over the 6X as well without trying it, but after wearing the 6 Pro, I think anything bigger would be too big for me. The other thing is the Fenix 6 is a heavier watch. I always wore silicone bands similar to the default band on the 245 and never thought much about weight. The default 6 Pro band is wider and thicker and makes the watch feel heavy - plus the ridges on it make it harder to clasp in my opinion. I switched to a nylon Velcro strap that was super light and am super happy with it - went back to that lightweight watch feeling for me. If that's not your style, I recommend finding a different silicone band that can save a bit of weight and is easier to use. I've been using these: Notocity Fenix 6 Band 22mm Width Soft Silicone Watch Strap for Fenix 6/Fenix 5/Fenix 5 Plus/Fenix 6/Fenix 6 Pro/Forerunner 935/Forerunner 945/Approach S60/Quatix 5 https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08L8MXQHJ/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_ACN6C1ZHX4TA3JW09ZSZ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

That's understandable, about not wanting to have to recharge. What I do, when I'm out backpacking for a few days and know I might need to top off my watch battery, but don't want to lug around a big battery pack, is I carry one of these little things:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07K9HJR4X/
It weighs barely anything and takes up very little space, but has enough juice to recharge your watch 5-6 times. If you use GPS for 8 hours a day, then you should only need to charge your watch every 3 days or so

Garmin doesn’t make a oem band that fits a regular 6. The one they do sell fits a 6x as it’s originally for the Enduro. These are the ones I went with because there was no clips(hardware) that wasn’t garmins could fail. Abanen Hook and Loop Quick Dry Watch Band for Fenix 6/ Fenix 5/ Fenix 7/EPIX 2, 22mm Woven Nylon Ultralight Sport Wristband Strap for Garmin Fenix 6 Pro/Sapphire,Instinct,Fenix 5 Plus https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09G68LMB3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_B47PTK1X4ZCJ2GA79R14?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I’ve had it for about 3 weeks now and it seems to be ok. I’ve got this one:
Onewly Compatible with Garmin Watch Band,26mm Woven Nylon Watch Band for Fenix 5X/Fenix 5X Plus/Fenix 6X/Fenix 6X Pro/Fenix 7X/Fenix 3/3HR/Tactix Charlie/Quatix 3,Tactix Bravo https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B09GY95WD6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_F3CG2TDY07PXJWN8F9NF?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Not a direct solution to your overall problem, but for my 6 pro I got this and have it on my desk. Super convenient and then I can keep my cord for other use.
The watch “clicks” onto the puck and I’ve never had any issues with charging from this

I have a 6x and with a regular silicone watch band(not the factory one) i found sleeping with the 6x a little annoying until i recently changed to an Abanen nylon hook and loop band and now I don't even feel the watch on when I sleep now. been wearing it to bed now for a week straight. the nylon is super soft and conforms to your wrist. I found when wearing the silicone band that the watch would hurt and annoy the sides of my wrist if it moved on my wrist at all.

The heathered black nylon is the closest official strap from garmin to a black nato style strap

I have some narrow nylon straps around - I’ll see if I can find on to post a side by side.
I quite like the garmin nylon strap - it’s comfy and is holding up well (a bit of deformation in the holes, but it’s nylon)
Personally I've been using this: Abanen Hook and Loop Quick Dry Watch Band for Fenix 6/ Fenix 5/ Fenix 7/EPIX 2, 22mm Woven Nylon Ultralight Sport Wristband Strap for Garmin Fenix 6 Pro/Sapphire,Instinct,Fenix 5 Plus https://www.amazon.com/dp/B092Q6KJ5D/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_JCDQ7BH50Z1J53ABT2JX
I've had it on my F7 since mid or late Feb so it's been through probably 30+ strength workouts plus several shorter indoor cardio (bike/elliptical) sessions. I've also taken it in the sauna and into my cold exposure dips. It's way more comfortable than silicone, is lighter afaik, and so far doesn't show any wear. Also, it does dry very quickly, which is actually why I haven't switched over to the nick mankey band I bought.
i got one on amazon for the 7x, which i also used on my 5x. it doesnt have the quickrelease tabs, which is annoying to change it out, but its quite good.

i wish i could find one with quick release, i bought one but it was for someone with an enormous wrist and no way to adjust it

I got a Velcro band for the 7s, agree with other comments, the Velcro band is so comfortable. I got the Abanenband via Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Abanen-Ultralight-Wristband-Sapphire-Instinct/dp/B09BG4ZPMR
I DON‘T like the Apple loops for difficulty sizing and tendency to stretch. For an outdoor activity and adventure focused watch, I think you want to ensure a consistent fit for your heart rate and other metrics. I suggest looking at the Abanen nylon/Velcro on Amazon. Similar to Apple quality for their nylon straps. They are easy to install, infinitely adjustable, breath well, don’t hold moisture and have a slight stretchiness that keeps the sensors positioned without having to over tighten.

These are nice. For 22mm you can get the fmgreen alone. Quick search I only saw 26mm in a 2-pack with black and green.

Just put a screen protector on it.
I paid for sapphire and it scratched in less than a month. Not sure how but it doesn't really matter.
It's scratched and now it has a screen protector on it anyway.
It maybe unlikely but if it happens to you, it doesn't matter if its unlikely or not.
Save the money and get a screen protector so you don't have to worry period.
I bought this one:

The lone review is mine. It had no reviews when I bought it but since it was prime I figured I'd take a shot and just return it if it sucked. Been 2 weeks and haven't had any issues.

I think they have a link band too if you prefer. I don't have it though since I find it difficult to get a good fit with link style bands.
Maybe this can help in the meantime via Amazon.

They're also on Amazon, but it seems they're out of stock right now. I've got a couple of these leftover from my Fenix 6 Pro (the gray and blue), but I prefer the Abanen nylon band. I used the Abanen on my 6 Pro and use it now on my Epix.

Brown leather is a personal preference. As you wear it more it ages with sweat stains and can look really cool when broken in. Here is a standard one and Here is a cuff style one

I have this band in 22mm for my F6. The feel of titanium is very comfortable to me. Never hot or cold like stainless steel can be nor clammy like silicone can be. I belive the 6S is 20mm. Metal bands seem to be more positive and less prone to decay from exposure to the elements. YMMV. I'm not related or sponsoring just linking this as an option for you that works for me.
Oh man. I'm dreading that happening to me.
Anyone know if these work for the 7x?

If they do maybe you can put that on to cover it.
