Google Go apps not available in your country or device?
No big deal! All you have to do is sideload the APK files.

Don't worry about whether they will work or not. They will. I'm not sure why Google allows some of the apps in the USA and not others, but they work as they should.
The only "Go" app I don't recommend is Google Maps Go. I prefer Here We Go instead.

Try Power Amp for your music. I've been using it for about 5 years across 2 phones and I love it. All of my music on the phone (17GB worth) is on the microSD card and I set it as the default in Power Amp's options. Power Amp also lets you sort by Folder so you don't have to bother with Artist/Album/etc if you don't want to.
>am basically technology illiterate
Here's a review/demonstration of it. It is very customizable but if you don't want to mess with that you don't have to. You can just point it to your main music folder and then forget about it. PowerAmp will automatically start playing whenever you connect headphones, both cord and bluetooth.
Maybe try downloading this app? It's made by google and it's basically an upgrade from the stock phone app. Not sure if it works on BLU devices though.
If it says it's incompatible with your phone, just get some other 3rd party phone app.
i love skinomi screen protectors. They are so forgiving in their application.
If you get one - dont place any judgement on it till a few days after you apply it. Any bubbles/etc. will go away after a couple days and it will be crystal clear.
I seriously doubt there will ever be replacement screens. I have a Blu R1 HD with a broken screen and have not been able to find replacement screens anywhere.
As for a longer charge cable, search amazon for quick charge cable. This one supposedly supports it.
Do you have the phone? Because I have a question about [it.
The Life One X2 is coming out in a couple of weeks. i would definitely wait for that. Preorder is already up on amazon.
It looks like solid device. It brings fingerprint reader as well as QC 3.0 which were my two biggest gripes about the Life One X. It also comes with Android Marshmallow out of the box which is nice.
Someone posted it below...im sure it's the same one that you saw that is out of stock for two months but if you check the other color they have it in stock.
BLU R1 HD ArmorFlex Case + Screen Protector- Black/Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GIRTGKI/
amazon.ca has blu phones, heres mine. came with a screen protector, case. earbuds and charger!:
This is the one I have, the grey one I have is gone but they have other colors:
I think they may have sold out or something tho.
This is my Copy: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0129TQIAU/ref=nav_timeline_asin?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Absolutely love it, still has issues with lollipop. But that's more on the app side.
12/10 would recommend
I did a quick search and found this: http://www.amazon.com/BLU-Studio-Energy-Protector-2-Ultra-thin/dp/B016U3M31Y
Doesn't seem to have any reviews but I may still get it or something like it as extra protection for when my dad inevitably drops the phone.
If I do I'll let you know how it works out.
I agree that the battery life is superb with this phone and is probably the killer app for it.
Yup, I've been complaining about the Nav bar since this whole fiasco.
Yeah, it sucks that I had to reinstall everything, but I've kinda learned that time and time again when I was in my "installing custom roms" phase.
The nav bar is just gross IMO, I only use gestures.
EDIT: I did however find a workaround that actually works. There is an app called SystemUI Tuner it doesn't require root, however you do have to input code using ADB which the app gives instructions if you haven't done it before.
(Don't worry, it won't screw your phone up as it's not rooting)
With this app, you can turn on "Immersion mode" which hides the Nav bar.
very interesting.
Did you use ADB to adjust anything like the display dpi? Maybe try to set the display scaling under settings to standard if you've changed it. Some people with stock S7 edge had similar issue.
Phones failing safetynet check for no apparent reason is somewhat common from what I see. Google and OEMs really need to figure this out.
You can use an app to see if your phone can pass safetynet check https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.scottyab.safetynet.sample&hl=en
Looks like a bug with the software. I don't think there's a way to fix it directly, but I would recommend downloading a launcher app to use. Nova Launcher is the one I use. Apex Launcher is another good one.
