well as i see you also looked at in the comments the the Zenbook PRO is a very good laptop but it only has one ram slot so although there might 32gb dimms in the future right now there are only 16gb dimms so it ram isnt really upgradable and it is also 15" not 17" but I would just buy a extra monitor. here is also a very good website for laptop comparisons http://www.productchart.com/laptops/
For around $1000 you can get a Printrbot that can print 10"x10"x10".
If the max build size can be slightly smaller, you have a lot more options. You can find 3D-Printers by price and specs on the this comparison chart: http://www.productchart.com/3d_printers/
The Helix is a bit heavy for my liking. Did you consider getting the new Surface 3, the nopro version? What will you do with the tablet? I say tablet, because with a bluetooth keyboard you can make any tablet into a workhorse.
Product Chart can help you find a tablet with your specs:

Check the alternatives to the Surface Pro 3
Went to /r/SuggestALaptop/ on your behalf.

Not sure if this is solved with Win 10, but I've found with Win 7 Adobe has some nuisances with dual monitors. Adobe can only maximize to a single monitor so if you want to use both you have to drag across for a floating window or create 2 separate windows. If you create separate windows than you'll have to click twice when switching focus, once to highlight the window and a second for the button.
Also, a single 27" monitor isn't quite big enough. I'd aim for 32.
Check out this website for some quick hunting. It's showing the Acer B326HK as the cheapest IPS 4K panel, listed on Amazon for $582 right now.
TL;DR - Single monitor all the way. Recommendation above. CES also just kicked off, so some new toys may be announced in the coming days
I know for me I'm going to target the AMD Polaris chipset for Laptops this coming year. RX 480 is supposed to be low power consumption and in a laptop should be pretty amazing IMO.
Oh I just found this in my bookmarks today - hope it helps: http://www.productchart.com/laptops/
That's a great build you've got :) I honestly can't see any improvements to make without getting an entirely new motherboard and CPU, and not only is that expensive but also inconvenient. Plus, if you overclock your CPU far enough with that really good cooler, you should be fine :) The 1070 is a great choice also. For monitors, I would suggest this site, very useful:
Nevermind, found this super handy chart!
LG G5 is looking pretty good.. Although I might wait to see if the LG V20 will have removable battery.. shame none of the new Samsung phones have it..
Iphones own a large portion of the market, nexus/google phones don't have removable batteries (and they head android OS). It is a large sample size.
Edit: this site contains a compendium of phones: http://www.productchart.com/smartphones/ (249 phones)
Removable battery section: http://www.productchart.com/smartphones/sets/3 (115 phones)

I always go for the same laptop -- 13 inch MacBook Pro. Can run virtually all OS's, great screen, battery life and is light. Though one of the lads needs in the office needs a fairly mobile machine for presentations and he doesn't want to go with Apple so we're looking at Microsoft Surface Pro 4 should be out in Ireland shortly.
I have also heard great things about those printers. You couldn't go wrong with a Wanhoa.
If you didn't see my ninja edit to the first comment, here's a halfway decent website comparing printers of all shapes and sizes: http://www.productchart.com/3d_printers/
Welcome! The only ones I was interested in were gaming ones. Price for performance they are really good. Not sure about the specific models though. I would suggest putting up a question there, as you would get a most update to date answer. Also it will clear up things for you.
This is a good link where you can put in your requirements and get suggestions based on that. http://www.productchart.com/laptops/
This one should be K8200 by Velleman, not Build-It-Yourself 3D Printer Kit With White Earbud Headphones
Also option to use metric units would be nice.
For laptops, this: http://www.productchart.com/laptops/
The 280x should be better than the 960, but amd is supposed to be updating their gpus first half of 2015 anyway. Many of them cost at least $40 more than the 960, but here is a cheap one. http://www.amazon.com/XFX-Double-933MHz-Graphics-R9280ATDFD/dp/B00J44WVYG/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1422909286&sr=8-6&keywords=280x
Get a 1080p ~60 Hz monitor that supports freesync. You can use this page to help narrow down your options. Then simply choose one with a low refresh rate and solid reviews. Upon quickly looking myself, there are a couple Viewsonics that fit those specs and I'm pretty happy with my own Viewsonic (although I didn't read the reviews for these).
Keyboard and mouse is very much personal preference. You can get a cheaper mechanical keyboard for ~50 and a solid Logitech mouse for about the same.
Available at Wallmart for $340. Used or refurbished on amazon for around 300 +/-.
The question might be why you would consider this and what you would use it for? if it's all you can afford you might do better on a different device.
It's a minimal device... usable for light tasks.

If you want to save a few bucks on the phone itself and be unlocked you might look at the offerings of the smaller brands.
Newegg.ca's BLU listings, you can search by screen size.
You can get an unlocked phone with comparable guts to Samsung or Apple for 1/2 the price. I've had a BLU Studio 6.0 HD for a few years and I've been mostly pleased with it. It has occasional, infrequent hiccups that are fixed with a reboot but otherwise it does everything I want. I'm thinking about upgrading and from what I've seen in reviews their newer products look better (the back of the 6.0 is ugly) and their build quality has improved. The company is American. No, I don't work for them.
This site can show tiered lists of smartphones by manufacturer to make it easier to figure out what their top models are. If you're having trouble getting exact specs for a certain phone search for it at www.GSMarena.com
That doesn't have freesync, easy way for you to find out is to filter on pcpartpicker or Product Chart. If you do have an AMD GPU or plan to get one later, don't skip on getting a monitor with freesync, you won't change monitors as often and it's a really good bonus at no extra cost.
You'll find the basics under "monitor" here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/wiki/partsguide
This resource in the right menu is very handy once you've decided what to go for:
http://www.productchart.com/monitors/
The by far most common options would be:
Resolution: 1920 x 1080 or 2560 x 1440. 3840 X 2160 aka 4K is still not very common for gaming.
Panel type: IPS = prettier colors, TN = lower response time, but not really noticeably different from IPS most would argue.
Size: 24'' or 27''. Bigger and possibly curved if you want to really blow all your money.
Refresh rate: 60hz or 144hz. Outliers in between and some top end monitors with more. The relationship between refresh rate and FPS is a bit complicated, but you want more than 60hz for gaming at more than 60 FPS.
Freesync vs G-sync: Freesync for AMD, G-sync for Nvidia. Applies to monitors above 60hz and has to do with syncing the monitor to your FPS to avoid tearing ("splitting" the picture).
If the second monitor is for netflix, browsing and whatnot I'd get a 60hz 1080p which should be dirt cheap as long as it's not more than 24''. The question here is how much you want to spend on your main monitor and how powerful your GPU is plays into that.
I don't think you'll get all your criterias under $200 ...
Check out this chart : http://www.productchart.com/monitors/
The lowest I can find is the BenQ GW2765HT for $330. It's a 27", IPS, 1440p but 60Hz ...
Looks great, I would get an MX300 SSD, cheaper, faster and more storage. Also, for an extra 10 dollars you can get 16 gigs of ddr4 3000, which is much more future proofed :)
I would also reccomend considering 1440P 60hz? Use this site for monitors: http://www.productchart.com/monitors/
1440P isn't for everyone, and if you would prefer to have more hz (so the monitor displays more fps and therefore feels smoother, but looks worse quality than 1440P), then go for it. It's personal choice
This is such a good build :)
For a PSU: Go on PC part picker, look at the wattage, and add 100-150, and get that wattage of PSU. So you need a 550-600 watt. I would recommend an EVGA SuperNOVA G2 550W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply, it's insanely good quality.
For monitors, your build could easily handle 1440P. Do you want 4K? And what about the refresh rate (how quickly a user input, like the click of a mouse, is displayed on a screen) or hz? (The number of fps that can be displayed on the screen). Here is a great site to find the perfect monitor for you: http://www.productchart.com/monitors/
I would also recommend at least another terrabyte hard drive, just incase that insanely big ssd gets filled up, it's only another $50 or so.
Periferals (mouse, keyboard, headset) I have a few recommendations, but I'm not sure what you prefer and haven't dealt with your price range before. Do you want a mechanical keyboard? And are you only gaming? (For the headset). Happy to help, ask me anything you want :D
-Matt
(EDIT: Do you need that high quality of a motherboard? You could go a lot chooser, unless price isn't a concern for you?)
Nope, looks like they bumped it up. You can mess around with http://www.productchart.com/monitors/ and get a sense of what's out there. Honestly, I mostly just cruise /r/buildapcsales and keep an eye out for good deals. I'd really like a 32-34" 3440x1440 around $500 but ended up going with an HP Omen 32" 2560x1440 because I found 10%+20% cashback deals.
Long term there's some promising new models from Samsung and LG that look pretty exciting.
buying a used one on craigslist might be a good option granted the seller is trustworthy
http://www.productchart.com/laptops/ something like this may help you find something that works for you / at the best price
this site might also be useful: http://www.lappylist.com/laptops/best-gaming-laptops/
If thats the case I think either surface would work. The 2d programs I've used haven't been resource heavy (tvpaint, flash, storyboard pro).
I have a beefy computer but it really comes into play when I do my rendering at the end. I work primarily in 3d so rendering each frame becomes a nightmare depending on the textures and amount of objects in the scene. In my 2d work the power in my computer helps when I do any editing in post (after animation I composite it in after effects or nuke).
I'd personally grab the biggest baddest computer I could to be more future proof but if its just for hobby use I wouldn't invest a lot.

I like to use this chart when I first start comparing laptops.
Thanks for your reply.
May I ask you another question?
I was using the product chart I found on /r/suggestalaptop and found this. Why would anybody go for the Dell XPS 13 over this? It's $200 cheaper, has 900GB more space, has i7 compared to the XPS i5, and 12GB ram compared to the 8GB from the XPS. It also has discrete graphics! Am I missing something here?
I'm currently looking laptops up on newegg, as they're a pretty awesome site, and I'll send you a PM if anything around ~$500 looks good.
Aside from that, here's a few places that you can go for suggestions and recommendations as well:
https://www.reddit.com/r/SuggestALaptop/ They're pretty helpful over there imo.

disagree on the resolution and production cost.
If you don't like your HTC One M8, go with another android. That's the beauty of it. There's a variety of Android phones. Moto X, Droid Turbo, Blu Energy, HTC One, Sony Xperia, LG G3. The list can go on and on. Here is a chart that you type in what you want on your phone, and the chart will minimize it to find the perfect phone for you. The iPhone does not deliver on many fronts when it comes to this chart, though.
I want to buy a smartphone, which is durable, has a camera that shoots nice photos but is not too expensive. Also it should be have good connection with long akku.
There are a lot new brands that seem to be cheap but I dont really know them and if they keep their promise. What are some good new brands?
edit: Are there good sites maybe? This was posted lately but..new brand a not really a big collection
