This issue has already been posted here bro on multiple posts- perhaps the mods can try and invite a psychiatrist on the platform instead of the weekend general discussions for a Q & A. Given the number of instances it has been posted and we are like 10k kenyans on this subreddit in a population of around 45 million....... if one can crunch the numbers based on the stats on global mental health................ I think it affects more Kenyans than we would like to admit. I guess this partly explains the drinking culture+ domestic violence+ weed= self medication?. Anyways, here are my two cents:
Psychotherapy works for me. It took me three trials to find a therapist that was a good fit. (I can recommend mine if u wish- PM me).

I guess it is how one approaches it. I recommend approaching it from different angles.
It is working for me. Picking up on my old good habits, forming new good ones.
A few ideas that may work.
One more thing, it's not mentioned much but set up your conversion funnels soon and get someone who knows how to read and interpret relevant data. This way you'll always know what's most important for your app and can begin a data driven culture fairly soon.
All the best. Looking forward to the app, whatever it is :)
"terrorists". Drones, human resources and mobile surveillance equipment collect intel. The intel is used to track and identify the targets, the drones then kill the targets. The problem is that killing targets ens the cycle and they can't get any more intel from that individual. They are also, apparently, carrying out strikes. Another part of the report looking at how they operate and the shortcomings of their methods
Paypal? It exists and works
Then the said person can do paypal to Mpesa if they wish. Just remind them to set up Paypal correctly to work with Mpesa (there are guides online) and to verify their account using a credit/debit card. (Paypal will credit 3 dollars from the account and refund it in 5 to 30 working business days when they feel like it). Verification is because Paypal are scambugs that won't hesitate to limit their account for 180 days if you send a little money over 20 dollars.
But Mpesa isn't a banking "financial service" in the traditional way as you say and I don't think you can sign up for it without having Kenya's Safaricom (ISP) simcard.
There are numerous apps on the playstore though which can do transfers to Mpesa. Kindly read the reviews before you try them

Let's examine the claim:
> Since the dawn of time, marriage in Africa has always been between a man and a woman. A man and woman always lived together, and then they would have children.
Looking at research conducted in Boy-Wives and Female-Husbands: Studies in African Homosexualities(2001) and Heterosexual Africa? (2008) it is clear that homosexuality both existed and was accepted. Drawing on Bernardine Evaristo commentary:
The Portuguese were among the first Europeans to explore the continent. They noted the range of gender relations in African societies and referred to the "unnatural damnation" of male-to-male sex in Congo. Andrew Battell, an English traveller in the 1590s, wrote this of the Imbangala of Angola: "They are beastly in their living, for they have men in women's apparel, whom they keep among their wives."
Transvestism occurred in many different places, including Madagascar and Ethiopia. Among the Pangwe people of present-day Cameroon and Gabon, homosexual intercourse was practised between males of all ages. The Nzima of Ghana had a tradition of adult men marrying each other, usually with an age difference of about 10 years.
Sudan's Zande tribe had a tradition of warriors marrying boys and paying a bride price, as they would for girl brides, to their parents. When the boy grew up, he too became a warrior and took a boy-wife.
In the 18th century the Khoikhoi of South Africa used the word koetsire to describe men considered sexually receptive to other men, and soregus was the word they used for a friendship which involved same-sex masturbation.

Here's what you do. Go to Amazon, add a US address as your shipping address (just copy a random hotel's address via Google), then buy yourself an Xbox gift card of your preferred denomination (link). Redeem that on your Xbox account and use it to buy your Game Pass sub.
Also, if you haven't already, make sure to use the Xbox Live Gold to Game Pass conversion trick before MS closes that loophole (link). I used it and now have GP Ultimate until 2025. ;)
My experience across the years is best with Nord, the speed is decent and they have a lot of servers to choose from. I mostly watch Netflix on the US server and have no problems with it. Overall I'm happy with NordVPN, I suggest you try it too. They also have a 30 days money back guarantee so you risk nothing

I get 3M hooks from Amazon. They don't ruin the wall.at all! I usually send my family/friends when they come from abroad. Or sometimes bring them in through Kentex Cargo and the like, while I buy other stuff from Amazon. I tried looking for them in Kenya, but didn't get any. See video below.
Ps, you can buy the stripes buy themselves then just attach behind the frame and onto the wall. I normally buy a mixture of hooks and strips.
They come in different sizes. These are the smaller ones
Hi guys, if you've played the game Trivia Crack before on your smartphone or any other quiz game, I made one but specifically for cars and car enthusiast.
I would really appreciate if I can get any feedback on it - Throttled - Car Quiz & Trivia
So my first thought on this would be my concern with shipping a pre-built this far. The chances of it arriving damaged are high but it is also possible that you receive it just fine. I personally would buy the parts and build it here though.
I bought parts for my first PC in 2017 and I've never looked back. Building a PC isn't hard at all.
Not only do you avoid the risk of parts breaking en route but you also avoid the pre-built premium. That being said, if you're willing to pay the extra cost for things such as shipping insurance, my suggestion would be to use this link to check costs(works with Amazon only): Kentex Cargo
You can use them or Savo Store to buy the parts and then build the PC yourself. Channels like Linus tech Tips on YouTube will tell you everything you need to know. That's if you didn't already know about LTT.
Depends on the quality of the app you want to build. This is the app for my primary bank: link. This will take me a month only working nights and weekends.

Dual GPU's (for gaming) doesnt work anymore, 10 series were the last cards to allow SLI and they were phasing it out at that point so no one runs dual cards anymore. $200 mouse and keyboard is pretty reasonable on the high end but even for less than 100$ u can get a solid set, headsets again, 150$, speakers 100$ fine and no one buys windows, u can use a free copy and have no issues at all other than the watermark. Also windows keys are like $20 not 150, wtf?
My man, you are just padding prices here lol.
On the topic of ram (by high speed I assume u are speaking of ram faster than 3600mhz, that is called frame chasing and isnt sold by most mainstream ram companies, the standard speed is between 3200mhz and 3600mhz, for ddr4 that is), a kit of 3600mhz 32gb (16x2) kit is on average less than 150$ see here example.
We do the math, if we take the pc I specced out earlier you get $2370 for the pc (remember this is extremely overkill especially the cpu, reasonably youd drop to a 12700k) then add your costs of UPS, kb & m, headsets, speakers (I wont include windows because you dont need to buy it and no one does) that is around another $600 ($200 for mouse and keeb, $200 for headset and speakers and $200 for ups) then we count 3 monitors (I will be using the AOC C27G2Z, a great panel for gaming) currently going for $240 a panel, so we do that x 3 = 720.
2370+600+720 and we are at $3690, not even 5k.
Even if we add windows 11
As I said, youd have to try to get to $5000, maybe come custom tubing and you'd be closer to $4500.

Hey! I love cooking and I have no problem with onions. But I am always in the look out for tools to help me out especially when I am meal prepping
I have something similar, and it really helps!
I got this from Amazon and it has been a game changer for all my meal prep.
Get swimming googles. I see people online wear them, and I guess they help.
I saw a hack about soaking the onions in water, but I think that'll make them soggy.. maybe get a place to drip dry them like in a sieve.
All the best. Try to look for what works for you. Eating restaurant food all the time is definitely not the best.
If I remember my history well, slave trade in East Africa was chiefly conducted by Arab traders. Zanzibar was major slave market, and many enslaved East Africans either ended up in Arab countries, or in the West. Check out the book Wretched Africans by Joe Khamisi. Regarding conversations around slavery in Kenya, I can't say this is something that is often discussed in the public space. In general, we Kenyans have a (unconscious) preference for amnesia when it comes to difficult historical issues.

So sorry.
Just a tip for those considering buying one. When I got my hot water bottles, the instructions mentioned that the water you put in it should be okay to touch but still hot (like the temperature a hot cup of tea that you can still drink).
If you're using them for back pain or cramps and fear leakages, you could opt for an electric heating pad. For warmth, maybe an electric blanket.

There is a lot we were never taught esp around how baba Jayden became the first president. Schools teach a very sanitized version of the Kenyan history. Kenyatta wasn’t even pro Maumau. This book shed a bit of light on it. The land issues, impunity from 1963. The current state both govt an general Kenyan impunity is nothing but fruits of our terrible history
Learn proper punctuation. You use way too many commas, and that makes your sentences sound scattered all over the place. It's hard to read when there are five pauses in every sentence.
Cut down almost all the unnecessary metaphors. They're nice when they're used sparingly and in a clever way.
Use shorter paragraphs. Every instance of dialogue must have its own paragraph or it's really hard to read.
Lastly, embrace brevity. Keep it short. Get to the point. Don't draw out how long it takes to get up, for example. We get it. We all wake up every day. The entire post could easily be cut down to a single easy-to-read page.
There is potential here, so keep at it! I strongly recommend reading On Writing Well by William Zinsser. While it is predominantly for writing nonfiction, I find it's an excellent resource for all writers. You can easily obtain a pirated ebook copy on LibGen. Good luck!
About holding:you don't gave to hold only on exchanges, there are new and better coins that can go 100x, 1000x etc that are not listed on exchanges and you can find them in wallets like https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wallet.crypto.trustapp, metamask, etc. This wallets give you access to such coins-for example before Shiba Inu was listed on exchanges like binance last year it was only accessible through wallets and through its contract address. If you opt to buy such coins you have to buy a coin called BNB/Ethereum et from exhanges depending on block chain your coin if interests is on, then send on your wallet through receive addresses (I know I am talking alot but I am just laying a foundation of things you should learn If you want yo fully join the crypto world). There are things you should know about wallets like never touch any random coin in your wallet, how to ran your wallet in BSC Scan/Etherscan etc but you will learn that as you grow in the space.
You might be wondering how you received coins in paxful, Right? It's simple-your coins are in block chain. You just use the exchanges/wallets to pull the information on coins you have from block chain. These are the intermediaries between you and your coins, without them you cannot access your coins. The same way you need brokers in forex to trade currencies, it's a similar context.
I know you are a newbie but I want to show you that there is alot to learn in the space. Paxful is not even a fraction of what you need to know in the space.
You’re better off buying a pre-built at the moment simply because of prices. Something like CyberPowerPC is usually recommended. Even if an MSRP drop happened, I doubt it will change anything simply with all the chip / supply shortages; once supply is fixed manufacturers will still take a long time playing catchup:
I know you said the rest is already setup, so this may not have any value to you. It’s recommended to make the GPU the first component you get since it’s the most difficult now.
Hi everyone, I have been working on a card game that follows the local rules and I would love that you check it out, it's free! It is a multiplayer game, so you can play with your friends anywhere. This project has taken me years to complete and I am very happy to share it with you all.
To highlight some of the cool features it has (other than the already awesome gameplay):
- You can customize the look(theme) of the cards that you are playing with.
- It has voice chat, which means you can scheme with others to bomb a player
- You can also use the text chat features when voice is inaccessible
- It includes emotes, which are interesting ways to express yourself
- You can add others to your friend lists and organize friend-only games
- Did I already mention that it's multiplayer over internet, so wherever they are, you will be able to bomb them?
- You can use Kiswahili! Unajua apps ngapi ziko na support for swa msee
The game is available for Android, Windows, and Linux. You can check out the android version from Google Play Store, and versions for the other platforms (including Android phones restricted to access Play Store) on our itch.io page.
I am continuously updating the game by adding more features and would very much love to receive your feedback. It's still in it's early access phase so sometimes, some features may be broken, but it works well :).
Hope that you try it out, support local talent, n spread the word ;).
Yes it does. You can be a ghost under VPN to the script kiddie. These are wannabe hackers who to some degree can frustrate an end user.

And yes, I know that if I click around the site, and scroll/ etc, I can get the information, but the average user spends probably 10 seconds at most on a site. Hey, I am also going through this. I'm a guy turning 30. My parents usually tell me they've never seen my friends and they're usually worried about me. These statements are still heavy to me esp given that my siblings have friends they usually bring home.

I first tried online to try and meet new people from meetup.com, eventbrite & even Tinder, but most of them if any end up being superficial. Whereas this has been difficult, at some point you manage to deal with the frustration/solitude that comes with it.

Here's a list of features. But then again, all these can be done with just your phone if you have the smart devices. And if you have a Bluetooth speaker, and a phone on you all the time when you're home
now here is the challenge - i am assuming you need to get these apps on your TV and not your phone, you would need to get the tv connected to the VPN.
When i did this in 2020, i could not work any apps that worked reliably enough to allow streaming on the tv while on VPN. I did find this small router though that has openVPN preinstalled and all i needed was to get a VPN provider that supports openVPN. Nord had a good deal at the time and has worked fine since. I have this little router connected to my main network switch and then the tv connected to the router via ethernet cable. The router is powered by USB from the TV and is small enough to be glued on the TV without making affecting clearance for mounting.
Its not the most elaborate way but it works for me.

Hi all. I made a POS app called BizYangu for business owners to enable them to manage their businesses.
If you're a business owner dealing with products, the app will help you
1.Track inventory 2. Manage debtors 3. Record and track sales 4. Calculate profits 5. Show you most sold item 6. Asset value 7. Restock history and more.
Soon you'll be able to sell your products online and we'll soon add support for service based businesses.
It's a new app, find it here at Playstore.
Your feedback is highly appreciated.

Out of the scope of your question... I think ShowMax is way better than Netflix... I have both but I find myself more inclined to ShowMax. On the issue of VPNs, I would choose one that is pocket friendly, covers more countries, is secure enough such as ExpressVPN. But if you want one that is purely for US media, go for IPVanish VPN.

So, in my ethnic group, there is a saying that saying, culture is "Godliness/religion" or "Unduire ni Ungai". Most African cultures, were also their religion. There was no separation of the two. Unlike, for example.. Christianity, where you can be wicked and evil during the week, and show up to church on Sunday wearing a suit (like some of our most corrupt people do) and ask God for forgiveness, and come Monday, go back to swindling the country.
The single most important thing in most African cultures, is the religious ceremonies (Magogona), which put the ethnic group (I'll speak for Kikuyu's) in communion with God, and those that had departed. (ngomi).
Heaven and hell do not (I didn't say "did not") in the Kikuyu religion. That was a foreign concept, brought to us by you know who.
I could go on an on about Kikuyu religion, but there are several good books that get into this topic:

You know what, you are retarded! If you can't see how this is a MAJOR security flaw and could be abused by any smart person with an agenda.
If say someone kidnapped you and locked you up for a day, what could happen?
This could be e-citizen, or one of many services in Kenya that are tied (by poor security) to your mobile phone number.
You are obviosuly retarded and should go read this book "Identity is the new money" https://www.amazon.com/Identity-Money-Perspectives-David-Birch/dp/1907994122
Please educate yourself
If the future is digital services, this article points to a major flaw in our identity infrastructure and management.
Fool!
PS: all curses, abuses intended
