Does he play with other people aswell? Could be he is queueing with someone the system thinks is a cheater, or has in the past? Or possibly smurfing/cheating on another account.
No one really knows exactly how trust works (even though everyone will tell you they know exactly what you need to do in 10 simple steps), but if you really think your friend has an issue with trust factor outside of his control, he can email: with the subject “Trust Factor Feedback” and include a description of your experience and his Steam ID
(from https://blog.counter-strike.net/index.php/the-trust-factor/)
I find the ingame server-browser to be quite bad sometimes so maybe use something like Gametracker where you can filter for area as well.
For kz tutorials this is probably a good start but there are plenty of other tutorials on Youtube.
Trust factor is based around much more than just your time in CSGO. Its tired to your entire steam account (i.e how much you have spent, how much you have played different games on it). New players or accounts generally start with low trust factor and slowly build it up as you interact more with steam (responsibly of course).
Might be slightly outdated but: https://blog.counter-strike.net/index.php/the-trust-factor/
One thing that helped me master my strafing was a "Key sound Generator". It's a program that makes sound every time you press a any key on your keyboard, even in game. I tried to synchronize my shooting right after the "clicking" sound while counter-strafing and my bullets always went dead-center.
You can find the program here: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Audio/Other-AUDIO-Tools/Key-Sound-Generator.shtml#sgal_0
After practicing with the program open, try to use your real keyboard sound to sync your movement to the shot, (if your can't hear your keyboard, the clicking feeling of the button works just as well)
Hope this helps.
I have a good example here, you cannot hit shots like these if you can‘t counter-strafe (kills 2 and 3). From the enemy pov it looks like I‘m still running and headshotting them. If you perfect it, it gives you huge advantages and you can prefire your opponents much more easily
I bind "sv_rethrow_last_grenade " to a key in the Nade Practice script I use. There's a few other commands that may be useful here as well
Thank you!
Beside learning/improving mechanics, start improving your social skills. At a certain point mechanics won't win the rounds, but tactics does. You must cooperate, lead and follow. Find good settings for your radar, this thing is important. Avoid "Office" unless you are from russia and love toxic game play. Practice ignoring complete dumbfucks and how to utliize these guys for your gameplay, such as giving good tasks or use their death-spot as info, etc.
I find this book quite helpful to wrap your head around the topic (was a recommendation of a fellow learnCSGO mate):

Bro.. how many fucking disabilities do you have? Are you living off wellfare is that how you managed to get 8k hours in CS:GO in the last 3 years?
... We were never discussing if it moved at 1 velocity or not.... Like I stated above... Crosshair moves on FRAME 1-3 AFTER MOVEMENT STARTS... You fucking inbred. MY ONLY STATEMENT IS THAT ITS NOT ACCURATE (OR WAS NOT IN THE PAST)
So I'm great, I'm glad we can agree on what we're seeing, it splits after-movement. No one is fucking debating that... Get with the program.
We are discussing if it moves at an accurate rate, which it clearly did not...
It takes 133-150ms to get to 80 velocity.
The video sent shows the crosshair splitting at 33-99ms (1-3 frames) of movement.
Meaning that it's splitting WAY before 80 velocity, and thus the user can still accurately fire meaning that when this video was shot- dynamic crosshairs were still not tied directly (or accurately) to velocity values.
My only claim - based on my knowledge - Dynamic crosshairs do not (/did not) accurately display when you are and are not accurate, and to instead go offline with bots and counter-strafe with the debug command.
Please, get ahold of yourself, look at the math, or go do it yourself if needed. You're making a fat fucking deal over dynamic crosshairs and if they worked back in 2014 when you didn't even fucking play.
I wrote a comment about exactly this a few days ago. Here it is:
"One thing that helped me master my strafing was a "Key sound Generator". It's a program that makes sound every time you press a any key on your keyboard, even in game. I tried to synchronize my shooting right after the "clicking" sound while counter-strafing and my bullets always went dead-center.

Hope you find it useful.
There was an update back in 2017 where they set the default value to 0.025 Here.
It basically, and i quote
" Sets how far into the future to mix the sound. Every frame, the sound is mixed up to a certain point, under the assumption that the next frame will arrive before the entire mixed buffer of sound is played. So with the default value of 0.1 seconds, if your framerate dips below 10 fps, it will run off the end of the sound buffer and you'll get stuttering sound. To fix this, increase the value (e.g. a value of 0.2 will handle as low as 5 fps before stuttering). However, increasing the mixahead time means the CPU has to do that much more work mixing more sound (thus possibly lowering your framerate, defeating the purpose), so be reasonable "
Be carefull if you miss with it because it affects the framerate.
WarmupServers are one of the best in EU:
You can get a VIP for really cheap which grants you a reserved slot even if the server is full.
Thank you...wanted to know that ... I've recently started playin another game called https://krunker.io/ ..and that game requires a lot of turning around ....so I am using somethin like 0.28 @ 400 dpi which is 1.75 sens @400 dpi in cs go ..I've decide to stay with that sens ..

— To allow third party software to interact with CS:GO, you can start the game with the -untrusted launch option. Note that in this case your Trust score may be negatively affected.
It was before they updated the hitboxes, back in mid 2015, when everyone had loads of fps.
I have a i5-4690k and used to have a GTX 970, and I remember easily getting above 400 fps with all settings max and at full 1080p. After that update, I hovered around 250 fps. Now with a GTX 1070 and a 1440p monitor, over the recent months I noticed now my fps hover around 180~240 fps (2560x1440), dropping at times bellow my 165hz monitor. I went to 1920x1440 to get more fps, and now at 1280×960 and still only hover around 240. Not sure why performance keeps getting worse, not sure if it was the panorama update, but it seems to get worse as time goes by.
I would suggest to record your games with a third party software and then upload your gameplay/clip to your profile. Download Medal.tv for example. There you can upload your Clips to your profile and watch them via the mobile app.
Pros:
Cons:
Those plastic floor protectors are what I'm thinking of. It's only a half inch or so at most, but if you're close it might help.
I actually used to set one of those on top of some foam gym tiles to get a bit larger boost before modifying my desk. Very ugly, but slightly taller.
If your chair doesn't have wheels maybe something like these can help.
Maybe even a booster seat/pad on your chair.
>That's not possible in my current home, the modem and internet cable is in another dorm of the house, far from my room.
Actually, it totally is. Get these and use them for consistent ping, and switch to wifi if you need download speed.
>prad_bitt_59 told me to check sv in net_graph, and the sv spikes up and goes yellow or red when it stutters. What is the "sv" measuring?
SV measures how long the server takes to "simulate", which is basically analogous to making 1 server-side frame. This changes by tickrate, and it's important to know that tickrate is basically how many times the server simulates per second. The server will always update at the tickrate, meaning that if you're in a 64 tick server, the server will always and only update itself 64 times every second, regardless of client-side FPS. This means we have concrete thresholds for how high the SV should be within a certain tickrate:
For 128 tick servers, SV value should be 7.8 ms or lower (1000 ms in a second divided by 128 ticks per second = 7.815).
For 64 tick servers, SV value should be 15.6 ms or lower (1000 ms in a second divided by 64 ticks per second = 15.625).
If the SV values are within those parameters, net_graph is white. If it goes higher, the text is either yellow or red, and that means that the server has failed to render at its intended rate.
The "+-" next to SV is a tolerance. For example, SV 2.0 +- 0.2 ms means "server render time 2 ms, but it could be anywhere from 2.2ms to 1.8ms.
Does that all make sense? Happy to clarify what I can.
But they all use mechanicals. The thing isn't that keyboard doesn't matter, it's just that mechanicals are very similar.
On a plus side you can get a mechanical one for $40 from Redragon
If you are looking for some handy tool for learning smokes, I can recommend my app Smoke Center for CS:GO. It has over 1000 videos of smokes, flashes etc. and is designed for quick learning, even during the round. You can filter 64/128 ticks, one-ways, fakes and so on.
All one has to do is search "qck+" on amazon and find this option without even scrolling but the link is a bit more direct I guess
Both of these are $40 each and very worth it (have both)
Firstly do you “palm grip” your mouse? Does your palm rest on the mouse or do you play with more of a claw? Below is an option for either grip
First one is for a more palm grip player I use it and love it:
