If you don't have a compatible Samsung phone, you can set up an Arch chroot
in Termux via this script. With this setup on my Google Pixel, I've had luck running LXDE with XServer XSDL as the X server.
Greetings.
I went to Settings Geral General Management》 Language & Input》 On-Screen Keyboard 》Samsung Keyboard》 Languages & Keyboards》 Input Language Management》》》 Selected Top Languages (4 in total).
Then I installed the EKH external keyboard app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.apedroid.hwkeyboardhelper). When installing, start EKH Settings and select "auto detect").
Using DeX, go to > smartphone <, under Settings》 General Management》 Language and Input 》 Default Keyboard》》》 Select External Keyboard Helper (EKH). (If the EKH keyboard does not appear, persist by clicking the default keyboard; if it does not appear long, click language and click the Default keyboard again until the EKH appears).
For me only that solved. Good luck.
Boa sorte.
The best vnc client I have used so far that has decent fullscreen support is this one https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.devolutions.remotedesktopmanager paired with termux works, but... still not a rival to the graphical performance of LoD Xtightvnc and mouse/keyboard, sound support.

You do need to be in the beta to get it
Search Google Play for "Linux on Dex Beta" or sideload from https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsung-electronics-co-ltd/linux-on-dex-beta/linux-on-dex-beta-1-0-51-release/linux-on-dex-beta-1-0-51-android-apk-download/
You are welcome. So linux via userland or andronix will run natively on the phone, what I mean is there is no emulation, the code in linux runs straight via the android kernel & cpu. That way you get full performance from your device.
The alternative to vnc is using this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=x.org.server&hl=en
PS. there's no way to use the GPU on our phones as of yet. That's perhaps is the biggest drawback.
You can use "adb shell" from a computer to disable the software update app. Use Application Inspector to find the package name for the app. The following should disable the system software updater. There are several packages named Software/System Update. The first one is the one with the icon for the notification I'm seeing on mine right now.
pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.wssyncmldm pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.sec.android.soagent pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.samsung.sdm
EDIT: if you want to reinstall them later on, use this from within an adb shell:
cmd package install-existing {package_name}
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TVSLDND
USB C Hub, 9-in-1 USB C Adapter with 4K USB C to HDMI,VGA, USB C Charging, 2 USB 3.0, SD/TF Card Reader, USB C to 3.5mm, Gigabit Ethernet, USB C Dock
I contacted via Korean Samsung Members app ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.samsung.oh ). I also believe this is the wrong answer.
There is a Bochs emulator that you can use. It doesn't run under LinuxonDex per se, but you should able to use it for one off emulation needs.

Where did you search so far? What did you try so far? Where are you stuck?
It should be
I just got one of these for my MacBook (USB C to HDMI Multiport Hub... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SZ535MS) and it works without external power (Note9 only) and supports USB (I use an Asus Chromebox kbd and mouse). Haven't tried headphone out or VGA but the critical bits work.
Going to make this my daily driver while I'm finally at home for a week. I want to know if I can make this my road warrior package. I can always find a monitor.
Mine is like this. There are a bunch of these for $20-30 usd. Basically all the same just different branding.
