https://gyazo.com/6122bd4b6c2b7fb971402bf5eb3fb882 those are all the moves you know for sure. Figure out why you know those before you click them, R= Left click, L= Right click
Edit: sorry I'm retarded and dont know my right from my left.
You can download all of the Windows 7 games for Windows 8 and 10 from https://winaero.com/download.php?view.1836. I use it myself and it works great. You have to reinstall it after every Windows 10 version upgrade though.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.AntonBergaker.minisweeper
If you want it on a site it's available at https://anton.bergaker.com/minisweeper/play/ Site probably won't work on phones though.
Make guess free? Only reason I'm using this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hotmail.marcinchrupek.minesweeper
Though the developer for this one has disappeared. There's no save game or anything other than the guess free aspect. If you could integrate that, I'd happily pay towards your apps development
> At this point in my Minesweeper career I'm playing for fast times, so if I don't get an open area on my first click, I start a new game.
Heh, I built that into an Android Minesweeper app as default behavior, because I figure a lot of people play that way. I think most people don't realize it's happening, but nonetheless subconsciously appreciate never starting with just a single tile revealed. No one likes starting with just a single tile; it's nearly completely useless. And no one enjoys starting over repeatedly; they just suffer through it because it fits their priorities. I figure, might as well save people some time and let them get on with the real meat of the game.

There's nothing on Android that can match Minesweeper Q. This one's pretty good but the pinch-to-zoom doesn't feel very nice.
I use this versionwhich can swith between flagging and opening up cases. It also has the tree original difficulties (beginner, intermediate and expert) and three levels of zoom.
Thanks! It comes in a collection of all the windows 7 games. The website kinda looks sketchy but it's where I got it from, honest :p

I dont suppose you are referring to http://www.gamefaqs.com/ds/954391-picross-3d or its 2D sibling... I enjoyed the heck out of that game, if you haven't tried it, I see the similarities between the two....
Are there a particular nation that the "best of the best" come from? like, south korea dominates the starcraft scene..
I use Minesweeper GO, it works well for me! It also has an one-time-purchase option to make it ad-free since you said you'd consider it.
Developer here, I can confirm that this comment is correct. The board is generated randomly after the first cell is opened. This random generation however never places a mine on the cell that was opened or to its adjacent cells. There is also an option in Advanced Settings that opens an area automatically when you start a new game. Also thank you to everyone playing this game, it took a lot of time to develop and brought a lot of joy to see people enjoying it. If you haven't already, please check it out.
Minesweeper Classic: Retro
Captured on MinesweeperGo. The game is probably the only Minesweeper clone to have an online tournament feature, which is super cool. And there's also a guess-free mode, though you do have to shell out money to get it. Definitely check it out if you're interested.
It's a theme you have to unlock but its very easy. I just played 5 mins to unlock it
iOS https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/minesweeper-classic-retro/id1287818410?mt=8
Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.still57.minesweeper
Hey mate, not sure about IOS but I know it's on the Android playstore. This is the link to it:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=Draziw.Button.Mines
Literally impossible to complete on hard. Been trying for months!
One of our members (u/nsthsn) created "omg Minesweeper" that plays really nice. One touch clearing and auto-flagging for a quick and fun experience. Highly recommend: google play link
TreatSweeper : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.HeuAtelier.TreatSweeper
100% No guessing mode and large size.
If you want to practice making sure you're making the right choices, I recommend to try TreatSweeper.
It is a different game from Minesweeper, because you can open only 0% mine-cells or 100% mine-cells in this game. And there will be no burden, since there is no penalty for mistakes.
The more you play, the better your reasoning skills will be.
Google Play store link : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.HeuAtelier.TreatSweeper
I do prefer a guess-free, missclick-free and not easy game. But I couldn't find a game that met all those conditions.
So I made TreatSweeper. And I thought that it would be a good game for other gamers.
It is still guess-free even if there are so many mines (up to 50%).
Google Play store link : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.HeuAtelier.TreatSweeper
If you play TreatSweeper, the number of safe spots is always displayed.
(And you can open only safe spots.)
Google Play store link : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.HeuAtelier.TreatSweeper
TreatSweeper is 100% solvable.
Google Play store link : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.HeuAtelier.TreatSweeper
In TreatSweeper (Google Play Store : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.HeuAtelier.TreatSweeper), you can see the number of guessable cells at the bottom-right corner. I think it helps to practice logical thinking.
If you want to avoid guessing, I recommend you try TreatSweeper
Google Play Store : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.HeuAtelier.TreatSweeper
When the same situation as your screenshot in this game, you can open any cell you want.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.HeuAtelier.TreatSweeper
This one is completely free without ads.
It is 100% solvable because it just open the selected cell if inference is impossible.
Therefore no guessing is possible even though the rate of mines is 50% (normally expert difficulty is about 20%).
If you have an Android, TreatSweeper would be a good choice : Google Play (free, no ads) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.HeuAtelier.TreatSweeper.
It doesn't require guessing, even if the number of mines is half of the all cells.
Whenever there is no logical answer, your next choice will be guaranteed no mine in there.
We made/use TreatSweeper (Android and/or PC-Bluestacks)
No guessing, simple input mode, free & no ads, difficulty (up to 50% mines available)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.HeuAtelier.TreatSweeper
It is not a classic Minesweeper, but strongly recommend to try ours.
Easy input for mobile (single input mode; no need to change input modes)
No guessing, zoom in/out available, free 2 hint items for every 22 hours, ...
Free, no ads!
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.HeuAtelier.TreatSweeper
Hi guys, Minesweeper Reborn is a game I made a few years ago and recently updated.
I'm curious to know what you think about the "Reborn" gamemode.
The game has two gamemodes:
- Classic: guess free version of the classic game (you can solve every game using only logic)
- Reborn: similar to classic, but in one cell there could be up to 3 mines! This increases the difficulty level and the fun of the game.
It also has a minimal UI and is highly customizable, both in graphics and in controls.
You can try it for free on Itch.io or download it for mobile on the Play Store. (IOS version coming soon)

I am available for any questions or feedback.
Thanks.
Minesweeper: Collector (PlayStore)
This one is quite "friendly" in terms of UI. Has lots of additional play modes, too. Puzzles, hex grids, power-ups, etc.
Personally I think the windows 7 minesweeper is really good, it's one of my favorites. So I just tried to find out how to get it for Windows 10 and found this "Windows 7 games for Windows 10" package: https://winaero.com/download.php?view.1836
Note that after the installation is complete, it'll ask you if you also want to also install some other crap. Make sure to untick the checkbox.
There's a solver that brute force solves the board. Please don't do that. I can help when it comes to calculating probabilities, just please.
While you're at it, you can also calculate the approximate of what block is most worth clicking, considering risk. For a program, this shouldn't take very long at all. At the very least, it should avoid blocks with zero worth like a plague.
Update coming today: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.babafish.ms99
PM me if you want to be alpha-tester of the game. In the future there'll be many updates. Thanks!
May I introduce my new app in this place?
I've wondered for more than a decade that the Minesweeper hasn't evolved at all.
The problems I think are the following.
- Records are only evaluated in time
- No reward for clearing the 50% probability
- It is cumbersome to open the obvious panels
- It is a hassle to put up a flag in an obvious panels
- Always wondering if the flag I put up is correct
- I want to know how likely it was to win when I stepped on a mine
- Sometimes due to operational errors I accidentally open a mine

Have you guys ever wanted to solve these problems?

While I was doing research on Minesweeper alone to solve these problems
The app for Android was completed last week.

- The higher the risk, the more points are multiplied by the score.
(However this only works when there are fewer panels adjacent to the numbers.)
- Displays the probability that you could have won when you stepped on a mine
(Works only under the same conditions as the above items.)
- Fast processing by simply tracing numbers where less than 2 panels can be used to determine
- More types of flags; flags raised with 100% correct deduction look different, and it is irrevocable
- As long as one or more fingers are touching, no accidents will occur.
And in this game the fingers are touching most of the time.

This is a great expansion for me, especially in a huge size field,
but it is something I made just for me and I haven't ask others opinions.
Yes, so selfish.
But it would be nice if even one person liked it.

This app is now available on Google Play in English and Japanese, so far.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.kyane.games.mst

Please try it and let me know what you think.
Thank you.
I like it. It sometimes feels a bit laggy though, placing flags seems to have a slight delay.
Is there any way to add the controls of this app? Where tapping on a covered square places a mine and tapping on an uncovered square reveals. Long pressing is only used to reveal a covered square manually.
Its a 50/50, one of them is a mine and the other not. Situations where you have no logical way to find the solution anymore are going to happen more often if you go up in difficulty levels. So far i know only one service that can provide you completely logical puzzles, if you wanna avoid those 50/50s.
lol 8 days ago... it is the 89th puzzle from the Minesweeper Go Veteran campaign (those are 1000 completely logically solvable puzzles). Pretty great, love it.
I recommend my app, GuessFree-Minesweeper (UnambiSweeper).
It has one-time-purchase option to remove ads.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.nobody.dnek.unambisweeper
Simon Tatham's Puzzles has several games, including a minesweeper mode called Mines. It's ad and IAP free.
Minesweeper: Collector has alternate game modes and an IAP to remove ads.
Hi! Dev here - tried checking with mod if promoting was ok, but got no reaction, so here we go!
Here's the link: MINDFIELD, Google Play
This is a game I've been working on for a good while, and I hope will find an audience here.
The game is totally free, has no ads, IAPs or any other funny stuff. Enjoy!
(PS - this link leads to the Android version - if y'all would like a Windows version I can fix that as well)
The story?
Ok - the thing is, Earth (Terra) and its colonies have been invaded by mysterious aliens, who have placed large, impenetrable mine-fields all over the surfaces of the invaded planets.
It's up to You to discover where the bombs are, so the bombs can be circumvented and disabled (and the aliens beaten).
You do this by placing Detectors which can give clues about the bombs it finds within its detection area. -Does it feel unclear? Well, after going through the 3 minute introduction-game you will understand exactly how to play :)
Detectors can only be placed in excavated grid cells, where there can be no bombs. You will get a few excavated, or "free" cells when you start each game, but after that you must also make sure that you free enough cells for placing future detectors, while also trying to prove what color bombs are where, and marking them with.. er markers, of the same color.
Wow - even more info!
Ev1LCh1nch1lla Gaming has graciously reviewed the beta version of the game (when it was still called BlasterMind) - heartily recommended!
I built one a while ago, because I didn't find a version I liked: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pixel_furnace.minesweeper
Has customizable board sizes and both an easy and a competitive mode. I disabled most (if not all) ads by now, hope you enjoy it.
If you're an Android user feel free to check out my app. Among other things there is an option of generating guess-free boards (up to 50x50 & 550 mines).
Not sure if self-advertising is welcomed here, but if you're Android user feel free to check my app.
Among other things there is an option of generating guess-free boards (enabled by default).
I published an android game I call De-Bomb which is basically a Minesweeper game where you move linearly through the map!
You can find it here
It's still a work in progress, updates are coming soon. :)
Minesweeper Go is by far the best minesweeper app I have found. It has all the advanced statistics you could want and has a shit ton of features no other minesweeper game has like multiplayer and a campaign (levels where no guessing is required). The campaign mode is really good for helping you learn all the different patterns and overall improving your speed. The app also has very little to no ads.
iPhone: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/minesweeper-go-classic-game/id1451053153
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.EvolveGames.MinesweeperGo&hl=en_US
Maybe you can check my minesweeper games for Android.
Minesweeper Dreams is not the best, but has some interesting features. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.odstrcilsw.android.minesweeperdreams
or Minesweeper Turn with modified gameplay system https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.odstrcilsw.android.minesweeperturn
Chocolate Sweeper on Android. The developer worked on playability features to the point where I get frustrated when I try to play anything else.
I'd recommend Minesweeper Classic: Retro. It's just like the classic and also has lots of themes
Minesweeper Classic: Retro is a version of minesweeper I made for Android with the help of some subscribers here. I added a Halloween theme in the latest update. For anyone who stumbles upon this please if you have any suggestions or criticisms about the game don't hesitate to say it. I want this game to be the best minesweeper on mobile. Be as harsh as you can if you must.
I have been playing this minesweeper for a few weeks now and noticed that it is far better than any minesweeper on android. Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.still57.minesweeper
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jurajkusnier.minesweeper&hl=en
This has always been my go-to version, my only gripe with it though is that the ads have gotten a little intrusive, but still very playable.
Hi, I've just released an app for Android which covers all of what you've asked. Feel free to check it out and let me know if there's anything you would change about it.
Thanks :)
I use Minesweeper Professional. A short list of what it has or hasn't:
There is a free version which is only missing a couple of features compared to the paid one, but worth looking into.
This was the app that convinced me the most and it is quite popular, you should probably check it out.
