One thing I've found that works decently well is silicone curling iron covers by OXO. Has good grip and is also good for range bag storage after shooting and it's still toasty.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016BJEK6I
I posted these a while back, and have been using them for 5-6 months. Love it, I can do mag dumps with the AK, and hot can straight into the pouch and into my pack.
If it’s stupid and it works, it’s not stupid.
Been using these for years for storage in the safe and transport home. If the suppressor is cool enough to remove with gloves it cool enough to go in the pouch. No more waiting around forever for it to cool off. For $5 you can't go wrong.

Lifehack for suppressors: get a curling iron pouch, if you don't have time to wait for it to cool. They're super heat resistant.
I had Arson on it but want to see if these hold up to heat. They’re polymer so we’ll see 🤷🏻♂️

Form 1 one of these.. Once approved thread the front to 1/2x28. I also suggest getting a new end cap. Voila!
You can do fingerprint cards yourself. Amazon has them on prime. If that isn't enough time, there's most likely someplace that will do them for a few bucks. Search for fingerprint services near you.
This is my cleaning method, I have the Warlock 22 from SiCo and use these plastic dental picks from Amazon. I mainly use the small flat tipped pick as this allows me to scrape off the gunk fairly easily but not damage the aluminum. I also do clean the baffles with some solvent, a nylon brush, and rags to help loosen up the carbon buildup.
Nope. I just legally sourced the correct size wipes from an NFA manufacturer and put them in the front end cap with a friction fit. Obviously I would never advocate buying the correct size arch punch and a silicone sheet to make your own wipes because that is bad for the dogs health.
Do yourself a favor and get some of the mechanix carbonx gloves if you can afford them. If not an oven mit will work but not as well and you'll lose some dexterity you'll wish you had when it's 500 and stuck. You can grab it fucking smoking hot no problem with the stage 2 gloves. They make a stage 3 pair but that's crazy land hot. Step 2 is to drop it into a curling iron bag off amazon that costs like $12 instead of $100 for a gun one - https://www.amazon.com/OXO-Resistant-Silicone-Travel-Curling/dp/B016BJEK6I/
Praise him.
You can find some rockset on Amazon if you want a big bottle. I bought some of this about a year and a half ago and I don't think I'll ever run out.
Doesn’t matter, I got some from from amazon it’s a 9 pack for like $13 and it has difference thickness so you can time it correctly so it won’t be all wonky. But don’t use a crush washer on it

It appears to be somewhat repeatable shot to shot? What happens if you remove the can and then reattach it? Different POI?
Did you check the can alignment? One easy way to do it is a 9mm bore laser and some tape across the front of the can.
I'm a big fan of the dip for heavy duty cleaning. Obviously, insert warning about how nasty and toxic the stuff is. I will say I've become a big fan of anti-spatter spray...I give the internals a quick spray and 90% of the fouling just wipes off. https://www.amazon.com/CANTESCO-AS-16-Solvent-Anti-Spatter-Aerosol/dp/B008BJCY1K/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=anti%2Bspatter&qid=1627311941&sr=8-3&th=1

I’d say take a peek at Parker’s book for old school patent designs: https://www.amazon.com/United-States-Patents-Firearm-Suppressor/dp/1581604602 and it’s still a fun read, like Alan Paulson’s old book series on silencers... https://www.amazon.com/Silencer-Performance-Sporting-Tactical-Silencers/dp/0873649095/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=paulson+silencer&qid=1604988924&sr=8-1 but that stuff was written back when Google wasn’t a thing. Now you can just research designs via image search - see what other major manufacturers are using. There’s tons of cutaways and drawings online to see what wheels not to reinvent or patents not to trod upon, etc.
I use this one I got off amazon it's their best seller and it works great

Anybody have any idea of something on Amazon or something that would be good to use instead of an oven mitt? I know an oven mitt fits the bill but I'd like something a little less kitcheny.
Edit: Maybe these are a good option: DII 100% Cotton, Machine Washable, Quilted Everyday Heat Resistant Kitchen Basic Terry Potholder Set of 3, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003WOJLGU/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_-4UkwbMD0DJE3
Still flexible enough to use to grab and unscrew a suppressor but also would work nice as a mat to lay it down on while it cools off.
Walmart carries it.
LPT This is the exact same item without the Hornady logo. Will save you some money. I have one and it works great. iSonic P4810 Commercial Ultrasonic Cleaner, 2.1Qt/2L, White Color, Plastic Basket, 110V https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005GA1I3M/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_c3U.vb6HDVJWK
You can buy a welders blanket for pretty cheap on Amazon. Lay the rifle on top of it and make sure it won't slide around. I'd definitely let it cool as much as you can though.
Speaking from my own experience i’d ditch the oven mitt and get a good pair of heat resistant gloves. I used the oven mitt that silencer shop sent with my Sandman S and I could never get a feel for how ratcheted down it was because the material on the mitt got hot from the can and made it super soft/slick and basically just spun right over the suppressor. When I started using gloves it gave me a super close feel for the can since it was the closest thing to my bare hand that getting a feel on the can (also better grip) and I havent come anywhere close to burning my hand. I use it on my rifle cans that both use dead air key mo, my Obsidian .45 and my DA Mask and I haven’t had any issues getting a legit feel if my can is tight or loose. Once again, just in my experience I’m creeping up on 3k ish + rounds in my Sandman with zero issues.
Sure, but you don't get to then say yours is the best amongst those because individuals with wildly different inherent biological acoustics can't tell the difference when equipment and data can.
The point of PewScience was objectivity, and Jay was extremely kind about Kevin not being immediately accepting of the results, while Kevin continued down the rabbit hole of insane, public comments. Those public comments are what he's being judged on, and has lost business due to.
THAT ALL SAID I have specifically stated publicly that I in fact respect his choice not to appeal to all customers but instead to a subset of the market that clearly likes his rhetoric and product marketing. It works for him and Q and he is still thriving in business as such.
The book "Pink Goldfish" illustrates this strategy perfectly - sell to your customers, not all customers otherwise you dilute your product, marketing and/or brand.
Next step up is Radioddity for GMRS. I have a UV5R and the Radioddity GM-30 is much nicer.
The next step after that is Wouxun. Something like the UV9GX

They sell a really nice Fluke on Amazon pretty cheap I use for bearings and my coal burning stove that's been very good to me. Just buy a nice one, I wish I did years ago because I use it all the time for dumb projects.

Earplugs are lighter than a suppressor
It's just 1/2" plywood nailed together. The suppressor dividers are just 1/2" plywood cut at a 30 degree angle over and over.
I use superglue to glue felt down anywhere that is exposed: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08K1SF9XT
Learn to do them yourself.
The first 3 times I did a Form 1 I had a local NFA dealer do them for me. They are nice shop and did them for free since I had previous bought a couple of cans from them in the past.
Then I bought an inkless fingerprint pad from Amazon and practiced on a few cards till I was comfortable. I've done the last six Form 1s that way and have yet to have a set of fingerprint cards rejected. People think they have to be perfect, but they really don't. The biggest key is not to smudge them and to fill the card out correctly.

TL;DR: The program revolves around taking your normal 10 rep high intensity work weight and doing it for 20 reps in 1 set with breathing squats. You'll do this 3x a week and every time you do it successfully you'll add 5 pounds to the bar for the next session. Repeat until you just fail a whole bunch. I suggest getting a better picatinny-mlok adapter for the grip. I assume that’s what that horizontally extended adapter is…and it looks strange to me.
Why not go with something like this?
https://www.amazon.com/Magpul-M-LOK-Aluminum-Picatinny-Accessory/dp/B08BMBPJRW
It’s cheap, made by Magpul so you know it’s good, and very small to help with the handguard/trigger guard spacing issues I see you discussing in other posts

This doesn't help now, but could in the future. I've bought a curling iron travel sleeve to slide over the can when storing/transporting hot.
It's kept me from burning myself, my range bags, my truck, and my wife more than a few times.
I use this on my ARs, works for me. Just have to make sure it clears the ejection port cover.

Basically MAC was selling their machine guns for less than it cost to manufacture, they were only selling to governments and most governments weren't interested or only purchased a handful, and salesman have lots of overlapping territories. It was RPB and SWD that figured out the most money was to be made in civilian sales.

It’s not about timing in your case. You don’t want to use a crush washer when mounting any muzzle device that will mount a suppressor. It can lead to misalignment and possible baffle strikes.
If I’m not timing a muzzle device, I still use a shim or two when tightening it down.
You can get them from Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/Barrel-Muzzle-Alignment-Indexing-Stainless/dp/B086MLPLJJ
I’ve bought multiple times from that brand. Works perfectly fine. Spend the $10 to get them, it’s not worth the headache if you are using a crush washer.

You may also try ceramic antiseize on the threads/taper if you haven't. . I apply a tiny bit every few trips.
Cool project - fun to see people being creative. For peace of mind, I’d recommend a humidity sensor. I’ve had this one for 3+ years now and it’s still running strong.
