Thanks for checking it out!
Edit: I've also just released a Machinedrum pack, containing 168 sounds in 7 kits. There's another sampler pack of 24 sounds (chosen randomly) linked in the description if you'd like to give it a try :D
I bought this pen case on Amazon for mine and it's great. Added some extra foam padding inside, much better than their official case imo: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B072JV89G6
Nope, wish it did though. I got around this by connecting my Novation Circuit to the OP-Z and using the Circuits pads to play in a scale. You might be able to do something similar with the Electribe.
Edit/ this is what I use to connect. Idk what inputs the electribe has though. Just need to get that midi over usb-c
Looks like a third-party version of that Behringer MicroMix: https://www.amazon.com/Behringer-Micromix-MX400-Low-Noise-4-Channel/dp/B000KGYAYQ
Mono though so that setup isn't using the OP-Z's stereo.
There are a few USB-based audio interfaces with a line-in that are sort of class-compliant with iDevices. A popular one is made by Behringer. You use the lightning to USB adapter dongle (if you have a modern iDevice), then an app that allows you to select your source when recording video. I use filmic Pro. Results are quite nice actually.

I don't have that one, but people seem to like it. If you want to mix sources, there are some small battery powered mixers that are ok. I use one by Maker Hart. Hope that helps!
I have both and have not gotten them to work with each other over usb c audio in any config. Which seems like a big fail rlly. As for the hiss: i had this for months and realized the easiest path is to put 3.5mm ground loop isolators on the 3.5mm outputs of the opz, and possibly op1-f. I even tried expensive usb-c power conditioners and the cheap ground loop iso was the only thing that actually did it.
I have 3x of these bc this is a persistent issue with tiny boxes these days: Kript HiFi Ground Loop Isolator... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N10AQ76?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Analog to optical converters do exist but they’re less common than the other way round
It's a software thing as far as I'm aware. Yeah try a different cable. The very cheap ones sometimes don't support it (they simply leave out some wires to save a bit of money), same goes for the adapters. You need an adapter that supports so-called OTG (on the go). Something like this https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-Type-C-Female-Compatible-Galaxy/dp/B08SK6Y3VK/ref=mp_s_a_1_2_sspa?keywords=usb+otg+cable&qid=1653482333&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&smid=A3927V217C186M&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzNjEzRzZWODFJNTI2JmVu...
I've been making some and putting them on my Gumroad site.
I'm hoping to make a new one every couple of weeks or so. They're $5 each, but contain 100–300 samples, so hopefully some value for money? :D
There are also some free packs available, containing selected sounds from each pack.
You could try getting an APK from here:
https://apkpure.com/op-z/com.teenageengineering.te012
If it's not an actual compatibility issue, just TE deciding not to support your device, this might work. Good luck, I hope you will manage to sort this out somehow!
To be fast here's my configuration file for my keystep :p
https://fromsmash.com/NfsDBsLzvN-c0 If with this and the right midi setup it don't work just do as I said before, save your work on a computer an do a factory reset :/
Have you considered setting this up to run [MicroDexed](https://codeberg.org/dcoredump/MicroDexed) so you could have a full DX7 emulation, sequenced by the OP-Z, in your pocket?
I always have a pair of these on me. I haven't heard anything as good for $15, and they last me about 2 years with getting tossed around in jacket pockets, backpacks, etc.
1.2.40 is what I'm on. This is the cable I ended up with: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0855SCRKX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Good luck!
oof - i’d try to use the line in via the mini jack, but you’ll need a unique kind of mini splitter like this and then maybe use the usb audio for out.
Headset Buddy Line-Level Audio Adapter with Built in Attenuation for iPhone, Smartphones, Soundboards and Mixers (iPhone-Mic-Line) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OAW85ZG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_050CVAG0PPPCYTDDHXC4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
tbh i don’t think the op-z’s effects are worth the effort but hey if it works it works
Is that all it takes? Something like this? https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01I3A47I4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_7ZYRFX1JH87DENSGMSWR?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 Do you still need the headphone/mic combo plugged in or can you just do line in with this cable splitter?
Moukey Compact Studio Audio Stereo Mixer, 4 Channels DC 5V
I really recommend this, it is low noise and sounds very good.
It's actually different, it's the Moukey Compact Studio Audio Stereo Mixer, 4 Channels DC 5V. What makes it great is it's super compact, runs of USB and really is super low noise, so much so that I'm happy using it with my HiFi too.
Thank you! Yes I use an usb c to micro usb cable. I think you can even use a usb c to a usb a adapter which may be the best solution but I haven’t tried it. Here’s the cable I’m using in the video:
Cable Matters USB C to Micro USB Cable (Micro USB to USB-C Cable) with Braided Jacket 3.3 Feet in Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00UUBRX0Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_yLwjFbXWYJWVX
Best travel solution imho of traveling with this around the world and back many times is a basic dynamic mic bag (like a sm57) in a waistpack like this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07K9FHVGK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_o6leFb5VRXFFD with all the other accessories you travel with. You can carry this by itself or put it at the top of a backpack.
I got a USB Type C to USB B cable from Amazon and connect the Arturia MiniLab MK2 to OP-Z directly and it works great. No computer needed.

You need to use the MIDI Control Center to set up the controller on Memory 2. Memory 1(pad 1) is for Ableton so you can't use that one.
Sure thing, I just use this adapter and the cable that comes with the op-z to connect the 2, and set the clock values according.
AmazonBasics USB Type-C to USB 3.1 Gen1 Female Adapter Cable - Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GGKYXVE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_l9PbEbH0NR651
Do you think, It coud work with the iRig pro or HD using the usb C port of the OPZ instead of the 3,5mm ??https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B00BIRR1TC/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_slice_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
Really??? So I can use a splitter to still get audio out and still record line in?

I have one of these adapters which works for direct sampling: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OAXHXGM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
But the limitations of not being able to get audio back out.

Do you have a proven working TRSS splitter you can recommend to buy?

Oh wow looks like they got rid of the line in with version 3. Boom 2 and the UE Roll have line-in.
This is the Europort I have -

I got this one, not a pelican but it is pretty damn beefy. It fits really well, too.
Hermitshell Hard EVA Travel Case... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M9AYN19?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I feel like it offers a bit more protection than the vinyl yellow TE case and it looks pretty sweet. Here is the link if any one wants to check it out.
Just check the hermitshell hardcase for anker battery, the larger one. You can throw it safely in a backpack ! And it' cheap !!
