I was just making a post myself about this and when I saw that this one had been posted before mine, I removed it. Although I see this is just about the release date, while mine had the pre-registration links, it's a lot easier just to post that here to prevent clutter and repetition.
Hope this helps someone! C:
Edit: Changed some words.
Machamp (from Machop, fighting), Alakazam (from Abra, pyschic), Starmie (from Staryu, water), and Onix (rock) are very powerful and easily accessible.
In general, the fastest way to progress in this game is to unlock stronger pots, cook stronger Pokemon, then use them to unlock a stronger pot. Do this till you get gold, then the real grind starts.
Focus on getting those Pokemon first. This Android app will show you which recipes to use.
Find an Abra with lots of attack stone slots, evolve it to Kadabra, THEN try to teach it Psychic. find a Machop woth plenty of defense slots and teach it Bulk Up BEFORE evolving. Find a Staryu with good attack slots and try to teach it Hydro Pump AFTER evolving. Teach Onix Rock Throw or Rock Tomb.
Install taptap on your android and search for pokemon quest (cn).
Download a on screen translator as well (from playstore). I use this one. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tap_to_translate.snap_translate
Get into the app and perform a net ease login providing a phone number so it registers you as a foreigner (this is a requirement to avoid the chinese id registration. Otherwise youll get stuck in the visitor gameplay which restricts you to 1 h of play time in 15 days)
4.enjoy the game and good luck :p

Fully agree about the "is this good" posts. Download QuestDex if you wanna know, it's way faster than waiting for a response on Reddit, not to mention you won't be clogging up the sub. QuestDex lets you check your IVs, compare your bingos, find recipes, look up moves. Do your homework, folks. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.peanutproductions.questdex
Edit: grammar
For squirtle 2 bluk berries 1 icy rock and either 2 big roots, 2 balm mushrooms, 2 honeys or 2 icy rocks.
If you want to check out every recipe possible, we made an app for that :D GO check it out

Get into the app and perform a login with a phone number (you can use yours or one from a temporary phone website, google it) then you will be asked to register and provide a name, country and id number. Usually putting random stuff works as long as the numbers of the id match with the required amount.
(This is required due to china anti addiction law and since you register as foreigner, and probably with a random id number, they wont hassle you with their restrictions)
4.enjoy the game and good luck :p
If you have more questions you can join the subreddit discord, theres a section for the chinese version there.
Here is a great reference app for iOS and Android called QuestBuddy. iOS: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/companion-for-pokemon-quest/id1397518985?ls=1&mt=8
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jordan.quest
Bethesda even updated Fallout Shelter's icon ~~for a while~~. With this message.
>Vault-Tec has noticed many Overseers prefer game icons with faces screaming to the right. In an effort to raise your enjoyment and thoughtlessly blend with the crowd, we’ve updated for a limited time. You’re welcome!
EDIT: It's still there.
ohhh i see the problem on iOS, apparently regular apps lack the permission to display over other apps apparently. so you would need to screenshot everything and submit it to another app.
When im on the pc i usually use this https://translate.yandex.com/ website to translate whats on the screen via screenshots
There you go:

You're in luck, and on the other hand, you're not. Digimon Links has the same principle as PokémonQuest, and reminded me a lot of DigimonWorld!
However, it's a lot more P2W and more difficult to understand.
I've been using IGN's guide which explains things well. But there is also an android app that seems to have a better UX.
Thanks for using Questdex <3 Did you download the new version? The old one will loose support because goofle took it down. Sorry for the inconvinience https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.peanutproductions.questdex
We have just released the update with the Buy-me-a-coffe option for no Ads. Thank you very much for the support, we highly appreciate it https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.juanfrancoc.pokemonQuestBuddy

For Android there's an app called "caffeine" that I love. It keeps your phone awake when apps that you select are running, or you can pick one offs to keep the phone awake.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nl.syntaxa.caffeine
Only downside is you occasionally have to re-enable it if you use ultra power saver mode or restart the phone.
Hey mobile players! heres a free helper app to make your first days in quest a breeze!

Hmm. I haven't done statistics in a long while, but if I did this right then 1/24 isn't too likely.
Edit: I had swapped some variables between p and q. Still, 1/24 is probably more of an outlier. 5.8 is seven times as likely: https://i.imgur.com/4i758xb.png
Thanks. Some knowledge of JavaScript would help to learn the framework I built it on.
I used a framework called ReactJS, It's made by Facebook and allows a site to render components in browser, in real time.
Here's a really useful tutorial series provided by LevelUpTuts which introduces what ReactJs is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PEXcg8xu2y0
Lemme know if you have any questions, or need some help :)
It wont do anything at all to your current account, consider the chinese version a completely new game!

you can use that app which has a screen translator. you just tap the floating wheel and it translates what ever is on your screen
install taptap on your phone. https://www.taptap.io/mobile
search for pokemon quest in taptap and download the chinese one.
Getting into the game, you should login with a phone number and register as a foreigner. They will ask you for a name and passport but i think if you give a random number with the same number of digits it works xD
get an on screen translator app thingy. Such as tap to translate screen. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tap\_to\_translate.snap\_translate&hl=en&gl=US
enjoy all the new stuff
this is basically it to get on android! keep in mind that the first time loading takes a shit ton of time due to all the new things and the download being made from china. The huge pots are free too any questions feel free to contact or join this sub discord.
Gonna slap the copy paste I've been doing for quite some posts ahahah

This is the one i use. Sometimes it bugs out a bit and needs to be rebooted but overall you just have to push the overlay button near the text an wait for it to translate everything on the screen.
Sometimes the translations are a bit crooked cause they use different names for the pokemons, like little fire dragon instead of charmander and such. Other than that the app has been a clutch
Remeber if you have doubts regarding which recipes to do, you can always look for them on our app and try them out to see what will come out :D https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.peanutproductions.questdex
Download QuestDex, it will help you out with recipes and more. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.peanutproductions.questdex
If you want tangela, you can use 3 big roots, one apricorn and one rainbow matter for a 20%. If you don't have rainbow matter to spare, you can use 1 balm mushroom, 2 big roots and 2 apricorns. It will give you a 7% chance though. For a chancey, it is tougher and the for the best chance, you would have to use 2 balm mushrooms and 3 honeys for a 4% chance.
For a guide, you might want to use QuestDex
Sorry for the late reply.
I found out the devs are actually having trouble keeping their app up on the store. Stupid google took it down hence why you couldnt find in anywhere (the app just crashes now if you try to do anything on it) so they've got atm a tinyurl link on their twitter page to their new version :)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.peanutproductions.questdex
If you have android, you can get noth of these in the QuestDex app, all in one place, adding IV calculator, information for moves and more https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.peanutproductions.questdex
Try this new app. It provides filtering so that you can choose your best pot and see which recipes are available given your ingredients. It’s free.

Pokemon Quest Recipes for Android devices: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jjhe.pokemonquestrecipe
You can look for the number of moves a pokemon has in QuestDex. Machop has the least so that's more chances. Go check it out https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.peanutproductions.questdex
If you get QuestDex for Android, it will give you a break down of the stats like the other guy explained them in a bar graph, you may see it more easily that way. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.peanutproductions.questdex
Gold pot always better pokemon than the rest. But if you want to complete the dex then go for basic pot. You can see more in the IV calculator on QuestDex https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.peanutproductions.questdex
Try this new app. It has all of the recipes and will give you the recipes available given the number of ingredients you have.
Quest Recipe Guide for Apple devices: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/quest-recipe-guide/id1412495863?ls=1&mt=8.

Hey, if you want a complete guide of the recipes you could make and also try them before you waste them in the game, we made a cool little app for that :D https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.juanfrancoc.pokemonQuestBuddy
Try out 4 apricorns + anything else (small). Also if you have any more doubts, we made a cool app to help you out with this. Go check it your :D
Rainbow matter is not actually that good. It just raises the quality of the recipe by 3. 1 sheel and 4 rainbow matter will give you a ambroise of quality 15, and you need 10+ for it to be special and have the ability to get mew. If you are having any trouble, i've made an app to help out with this. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.juanfrancoc.pokemonQuestBuddy
2 balm mushrooms and 3 honeys should work. Also if you have any more doubts, we made a cool app for helping people out go check it out :D
It's released in my country.
Android:

We have just released the update with the Buy-me-a-coffe option for no Ads. Thank you very much for the support, we highly appreciate it https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.juanfrancoc.pokemonQuestBuddy
Different pots have different iv caps. You can't get a perfect pokemon from a nornal pot. Also pots give huge stats bonus. So always cook on gold. We will be releasing IV calculator on the next update of our app so go check it out :D https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.juanfrancoc.pokemonQuestBuddy
Huh? I developed an app but it wasn't this. The one I made was for Android only. If you're interested though, you can find mine here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.njthandi.PokeQuestBuddy
EDIT: It looks like the maker of this DID steal my store page description, but that's about it XD.
