The subtitle file that came along with the original torrent file (while much appreciated of course!) contained a lot of OCR errors, among other things. I went through and fixed all the typos I could find, polished up the formatting, and slightly re-synced to improve the timing. The new, corrected version is posted here:

A 60-minute film exploring neuro-diversity in the arts through the work of Samuel Beckett from disabled performer Jess Thom's personal perspective. Jess is an artist and activist who also has Tourette's Syndrome. In this film, Jess takes us on a funny and unpredictable journey of discovery into one of Beckett's most complex plays and asks us to radically reconsider issues of disability, representation and social exclusion as she prepares to perform the role of Mouth in Not I, in front of a live theatre audience.

Does anyone have "Freestyle Love Supreme" season 1, starring Lin-Manuel Miranda? It was a 2014 television series, 11 episodes, which mixed footage from their live improv shows with skits, and it aired on the Pivot TV channel. Amazon sells it, streaming only, over here, for $3 per episode: https://www.amazon.com/Pilot/dp/B00IWYFQ5A
I currently can't find my DVD of it, but I don't think there are subtitles for this movie. But (according to Amazon) there is a filmed version of the stage show that has english subtitles: https://www.amazon.de/Linie-musikalische-Revue-Volker-Ludwig/dp/B00IKSEQVI/ref=pd_sim_74_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=4SJ30ZF4AEH56PXK4NNR
I recommend to use some other way than Hola. Hola is the easiest but too suspicious. ExpressVPN is ok.
I'm outside of the US as well, you can download the free Hola! extension just to get the video to play (connect to US/UK/Canada server). When the video starts playing, you can turn off the extension and watch the whole thing without Hola. If you'd like to watch on other devices, I usually use ExpressVPN which is terrific.
I tried doing a capture a couple weeks ago that I really struggled with. I bought a 24-hour pass to grab an obscure something from a site I'd never been on before. I couldn't get the streaming URL, and most of the tools I tried ended up just grabbing the video.
I finally ended up with ShareX. Its free (which fit my budget) and it worked (which was even more important). The first couple captures I did with it were sized incorrectly. What I eventually did was to start the video, then sized the ShareX window to fit directly and only over the video I wanted to capture. I switched back to the player, froze the video at the very start of the show, started recording with ShareX, and then switched back to the website and started playing. The recording came out pretty good.
This is the page that I found out about the program from; scroll down to the second answer, the one that starts with
> Ok, this isn't about VLC but I'm guessing the real question is "How do I easily record my desktop, with audio, preferably with a free open source app?"
They have directions there.
If you use it and it works, I don't need a copy of the recording myself; maybe send it to bwayluvr instead?

If anyone can capture these from iPlayer it would bring a lot of joy to many people on this sub-reddit - myself included.
Could someone with access to BBC iPlayer please upload a video for "Frankenstein: How to Make a Monster"? There's more information about it here. It got pretty stellar reviews (both as a live show and the filmed version), and it sounds very unique. Any help would be much appreciated!
The easiest solution? https://handbrake.fr
They have lots of presets, but it's my go-to. Depending on frame size/runtime, a standard blu-ray can get shrunk down to between 6-8 GB. Sometimes even smaller (I've had luck getting 2.5 hour movies down to 2 GB without losing too much fidelity).
It's fast, it's free, it works.
Yes, operaonvideo.com is a good place to search for operas. Additional places to look include "http://aveclassics.net" (in Russian) and "https://rutracker.org" (in Russian). For rutracker.org be sure to sign in before doing a search. Rutracker is blocked in some countries, so you might have to use a mirror site, proxy, or vpn if the block applies to you.

I don't host these particular files so I don't know if subtitles are built-in. If not, you'll find subtitles here: https://www.opensubtitles.org/en/subtitles/8168708/national-theatre-live-fleabag-en Just rename the srt file to the exact same name as whatever version you download and subtitles will play with that version.
If anyone's interested, I created English subtitles for this video a while ago. They're available here:
https://www.opensubtitles.org/en/subtitles/7419086/merrily-we-roll-along-en
(I originally synced them to a different version of the same video, but I just checked them and they're perfectly synced up to this file as well.) Cheers!
Consider installing MKVToolnix which will convert the TS files to MKVs without touching the encoding. Takes about as long as copying the files would.
Available for all platforms.
On windows I use the free JDownloader 2. I see there is a Mac version as well. https://jdownloader.org/jdownloader2

Hello,
My DVD rip of The Plummer Tempest is here: https://torrentgalaxy.to/torrent/14021952/Stratford-Festival-Shakespeares-The-Tempest-w--Christopher-Plummer--2012
I suggest you make a free account and login to avoid intrusive ads.
My profile for torrent glalaxy is here:
https://torrentgalaxy.to/account.php
click on uploads at that page to get the list.
That collection has many more of the NTLive, RSC, and Stratford plays.
If you are not familiar with the torrent system. I'd be glad to help. My participation on reddit is minimal since I only seed torrent files and have no Mega or Google drive accounts.
Hello and you are welcome. Thank you for the kind offer, but I don't know the content you have or the method. I have had brief contact with Mega and Google groups but I do not have accounts there. I prefer the torrent form but would use whatever is free of paywalls, VPNs and other forms of-- yes I'll use the word: monetizing file sharing. ;-)
I would respond to your request this way. Since you know the Torrents form, take a look at my account/profile of fileshares at TGx (Torrent Galalxy) and you may have suggestions-- something I've missed.
https://torrentgalaxy.to/account.php
That should bring up my profile. Just click on Uploads next to the Egghead.
Just now I'm mining the llillianboy (whatevs) Proshot magnet group for doing recodes. I'm finding shows I knew nothing about like "A Disappearing Number" and "Iphigenia In Splott." I've Uploaded those two as new torrents at Torrent Galaxy. Accessibility is much easier.
This is a good chat. Write back any time.
You are welcome. More plays can be found at that Torrent Galaxy site where I upload regularly from my archive from previous indexes and newer things I find.

War Horse and Making War Horse found here:

Thanks for the help tip. I don't recall the exact message but it went along the lines of you've exceded our grace period etc.
I found the play. :-)
It turns out a torrent is being hosted at my home index which is Torrent Galaxy. But reading new entries on anything but their banners is real tedious and things are easy to miss. They do not have a Proshot category.
My account has a growing list of plays and other subjects at TGx.
Mind that registering and logging in will avoid a lot of the frontend usual interruptions for games and VPNs and other stuff.
You can see the account direct link here:
https://torrentgalaxy.to/profile/loninappleton
then click on torrents tab and the list opens. I've had to rebuild my content from previous home indexes like Demonoid.

You can use magnet links to get torrents. All the links I've posted have been alive somewhere in the previous three months and I hope are alive now. If you want to know where it come from: the first one is from rutracker.org while the second and the third ones are copies of demonoid.pw torrents with only public trackers in the tracker list.

Great Performances: The Opera House, the new documentary by multiple Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker Susan Froemke (Grey Gardens; Lalee’s Kin: The Legacy of Cotton) surveys a remarkable period of the Metropolitan Opera’s rich history and a time of great change for New York City. Drawing on rarely seen archival footage, stills and recent interviews, the film chronicles the creation of the Met’s storied Lincoln Center home of the last 50 years, set against a backdrop of the artists, architects and politicians who shaped the cultural life of New York City in the 1950s and 60s. Amongst the notable figures featured in the film are famed soprano Leontyne Price, who opened the Met’s present Opera House in 1966 with a starring role in Samuel Barber’s Antony and Cleopatra; Rudolf Bing, the Met’s imperious general manager who engineered the move from the old house to the new one; Robert Moses, the unstoppable city planner who bulldozed an entire neighborhood to make room for Lincoln Center; and Wallace Harrison, whose quest for architectural glory was never fully realized.

Villagers in a tiny Tuscan town come up with a remarkable way to confront their issues: they turn their lives into a play. Every summer, their piazza becomes a stage and residents of all ages play a part -- the role of themselves. Monticchiello's annual tradition has attracted worldwide attention and kept the town together for 50 years, but with an aging population and a future generation more interested in Facebook than farming, the town's 50th anniversary performance might be its last.

English subtitles for the 1955 movie Oklahoma are easy to find on many of the usual subtitle sites, includeing subscene.com, yts-subs.com, english-subtitles.org, subtitles.hr, and isubtitles.org.
