I bought some generic replacement nibs for Samsung S-Pens. The ones I bought seem to work great with my Marker Plus and RM2 and are much cheaper. I think they might be lasting a bit longer too.
Working with large pdfs is a pain. Because it sync's the pages when you are reading it - every time you close the file it tries to sync with the cloud. Save yourself the pain and split the PDF into multiple smaller file.
I used https://pdfsam.org/ before to do this. Instead of a 100mb PDF, I went down to more manageable 6mb files.
I purchased this. Right now e-ink technology isn't up to real-time 'drawing'. And it fits the 'paper' replacement idea which is why I bought the RM in the first place. I have an iPad already.
I love it for ebooks... i have many pdf's and epubs on my device, and the screen size is great compared to my ancient prs-300. You should look in to Calbre which lets you convert different formats and has a some great plugins available.
get a cheap slip in cover from amazon just for a touch of extra protection in case it rains etc.
I run that way and it only cost ~£20 and not £100 for the official.
Once at the office and at home though I use the device naked and feel fine about that.

I use this and really like it, pen slot fits etc.
It has been working great for me, it’s a different shape (not totally round like the Marker Plus) and it’s shorter than Marker plus, but the grip I slide on it fits on the digital jumbo and the Marker Plus perfectly. Try the grey nibs from this Galaxy 5 refill with the digital jumbo for a more tactile feel like the Marker Plus provides.

Just so they can have a platform to let their community know they are listening. Most SaaS companies have a version of it... Additionally, it would give US the ability to see what others are saying and we could vote if we agree or disagree. To be frank, I disagree with some people's feature request because it detracts away from the value of the product.
A lot of people report using Zotero with Zotfile, which is compatible with most GNU/Linux distros. Once a document is imported, you can right-click > Export Annotations, and it will generate a summary of page numbers + highlighted text.
With the latest development version of RCU (d2021.003(b)), highlights should appear in Okular. There will be more changes to RCU's highlights before the next release version (text won't be extracted into the annotation's "comment" property, but RCU will gain a menu option of exporting a .txt of highlights including page numbers, and it should work the same or better in other PDF readers).
thank you. your comment is very valuable to me. I have noticed that Remarkable has a screen size identical to the new ipad pro... and once visiting an apple store I could myself try a plos one paper to see...
It all - for me - now boils down to price and led vs epaper.
By the way, I have discovered the utility http://www.willus.com/k2pdfopt/help/borders.shtml
I got mine 3-4 days later. They sent it through DHL and arrived earlier than the first delivery date said. I recommend this sleeve on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08TTSCG19?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share I also just got one and the folios where just too expensive. The case looks sturdy and it's made just to fit the RM2. It has no magnets so it doesn't mess with it and no glue to hold the tablet which I prefer. It holds it with a very fit Velcro sleeve on the inner side of the sleeve.
I have the folio cover so I picked up one of these holders: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0878QR7C9
The holder is tight enough that the pen does not fall out. The elastic band does not have any buckles or other bits on it that could scratch the screen.
There are also adhesive pen pouches and holders that you could stick to your RM's cover or case.
I have this one. It works well. You can see that I'm using it in this post.
Do you have a folio? If so get one of these- 12 Pack Notebook Pen Loop Holder Self-Adhesive Pen Holder Pencil Holders Elastic Loop Designed for Notebooks Journals Calendars (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082G744V3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_oD33FbBA87ST9
Possibly, but I highly doubt they use the same system for the hardware shop as what they’re using to bill monthly subscriptions.
I don’t know though.
If it’s available in your part of the world I’d recommend a virtual credit card service like https://privacy.com/ for online purchases and subscriptions. It’s nice being able to block a card for a given service on demand.
I don't know if it will work with Apple DRM, but Calibre is a fairly commonly used and powerful program for converting to PDF and ePUB formats. I've used it on some pretty dense books with success.
Everything you need can get obtained for free. Don’t fall for any paid solutions.
It’s called Calibre. There are plugins that do the conversion.
https://calibre-ebook.com/download
Unrelated fun fact: if you change the file extension on an ePub to PNG and email it to your Kindle or use the upload to Kindle app, it translates the ePub to a kindle-friendly format.
Potentially life changing.
Not related to your original question, but worth knowing about.
I happened upon "Standard Ebooks" (https://standardebooks.org/) which is a non-profit that puts out public domain books with high quality editing, proofing and formatting. They have a lot of classics in the list (looks to be about 1,000 books) and a good start to build up an electronic library.
I haven't got my rm2 as yet so not sure how well these ePub books display but am hopeful they will look as good on the rm2 as they do on my PC.
I made a simple monthly planner / habit tracker in case anyone else would like. I swear I saw something really similar here recently, but I couldn't find it. So I made this.

Sorry for the delay, I can't for the life of me create an account on Thingiverse. As of now, I have an account two days later, but I'm not receiving a verification email, so I can't log in.
I have uploaded the file here, it's available for 7 days before it is deleted, so if someone reads this in the future you know why it's a dead link: https://www.filemail.com/d/vjnfflsmypmwopi
Which operating system do you use on your computer?
If your computer runs macOS, you can use Preview to combine PDFs.
If your computer runs Linux, I recommend installing pdftk and using that to combine PDFs. It is also available for macOS and Windows but I only mention it initially for Linux since you are more likely comfortable with the command line if you use Linux.
If your computer runs Windows, there exists some possibilities as well.
There are also online services you can use to do it for example https://smallpdf.com/merge-pdf
Or did you mean doing it on the Remarkble itself?
I bought this one from Amazon and it is great in terms of quality and utility.
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B08QCL6BF3?psc=1&smid=A2BV6T00930YZB&ref_=chk_typ_imgToDp
Has a pen holder on the side, which works great, though the tablet gets covered on the side so the original magnet to hold the pen cannot be used.
I recommend a case like this one. You can look at this Reddit post to see how it looks. I think this case is great for holding your stylus and back up ones as well. It aslo fits the nibs and charing cable.
An app for Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.remadroid
I use it to sync my calendar and for uploading of files. It's much faster than the original app and doesn't require hacking.
He's using this: https://www.amazon.com/Ayotu-Non-Folding-Remarkable2-Lightweight-Remarkable/dp/B08R8J1Y4D
Though as the reviews suggest, I wouldn't recommend it since the mechanism for attaching it to your device seems to be by using adhesive, that would make removing the device a hassle, and it may wear out long term.
The RM1 is a great device, love mine. As for the Signature Marker, it appears to be available on amazon (bit pricey though). https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZS3TMKX/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A4K4924IW36IN&psc=1
Any USB cable will work; there's nothing special about the one that came with the tablet. You'll want to make sure it's a standards-compliant cable, but if you stick to the big brands (Anker, Cable Matters, Nekteck, Belkin, even Amazon Basics) you should be fine.
If you have a reMarkable 1, a reasonable replacement would be this Anker USB A to micro USB cable for $10. If you have a reMarkable 2, this Nekteck USB A-to-C cable for $6 might work instead.
Oh ok, thanks for the input, glad to hear I ain't mad when thinking about doing that.
Edit: Oh btw, do you have any of the remarkable offered folios? I find them a bit too pricey, and was wondering if they were worth it. Or would something like this be better?
I got mine because I thought it would make organizing my notes a bit easier, and would be a bit easier to transport alongside my laptop than my previous Levenger Circa notebook. Since getting it, I've been finding all sorts of other uses for it, from more convenient PDF annotations, to more easily signing PDFs, to reading ebooks, to even better note organization than I realized I could have. I've been incredibly happy with the purchase.
(Interestingly, my paper-writing implement of choice is a 0.5mm Kuru Toga Uni Core mechanical pencil. But I found I'm happier with the thin ballpoint pen tip on the rM 2. I like its lines better than the mechanical pencil tip's lines.)
There is this flat compass which might work: https://www.amazon.com/Helix-Circle-Assorted-Colors-36002/dp/B0044S5CZM/ I searched circle maker on Amazon, but there are other types available. I’ve never used one like this (on remarkable or paper), but it seems like it might work if the holes are big enough to fit the nib on the pen.
I just ordered this one, but I’m still waiting for it (and my tablet) to arrive. There were at least 5 reviews that mentioned the Remarkable, and 2 that said it worked for their RM2.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CXDK28L/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_WN0-Fb2M85GPA?psc=1
They are the nibs for the HP ZBook x2 Pen. This is where I got them from on Amazon but it's certainly not available. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GY96DZ5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_dxl4FbNBAEDNZ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
If it were me I would buy something like this:
Just pay attention to the dimensions of the sleeve, and make sure the RM2 will fit. I have one of these lying around that I bought for a Samsung tablet years ago, and I estimate the RM2 + folio will just barely zip up in there - offer a bit of extra cushioning when traveling.
Get another stylus to try. I know this one works on RM2, even the eraser, I've seen it on video.

I'm using this one: NIDOO 10 Inch Laptop Sleeve Case Water Resistant Protective Cover Portable Carrying Bag for 2017 New 9.7" iPad / iPad Pro / 10.5" iPad Pro / 10.1" Lenovo YOGA BOOK / 10.1" Notebooks, Dark Grey https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0725WJFCM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_gC2CAbGM5YX1X
It was $12 on Amazon, fits the tablet well, feels quality, and is water resistant. Additionally it has a zipper pocket in front in which I keep the pen, charger, etc
at least in the US you can get them from Amazon at $12 with Prime shipping (free), assuming you have a Prime membership. looks like $3.99 shipping otherwise. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CRHQ9SX
I did look in that also. It seems to be currently not available on Amazon India. https://www.amazon.in/Staedtler-Noris-Digital-Stylus-Pencil/dp/B0728HBD7F
If I try to ship it from the U.S. the affordability of Digital Norris fades away.
And 50USD is like one more college I can apply to, so I`m trying not to spend too much money in this pandemic season.
Still, thank you for the suggestion.
Agree. The one I got was a Fintie. It doesn't quite fit the stylus I got, but I just added some tape and it fits fine now.

The only device more focused on notetaking than the reMarkable would be an actual physical notebook.
You could consider the Rocketbook system of reusable notebooks. See https://www.amazon.com/Rocketbook-Everlast-Reusable-Notebook-Executive/dp/B06ZXWVZ3X
The rM is no heavier or bulkier than a thin hardbound notebook of similar size.
My daily drivers are phone, an 11-inch Chromebook and my rM2. They move together in a little shoulder bag with charger and cable. All are USB-C so I move with just one brick and cable.
To secure the Marker - I use the limited edition Marker Pro with the clicky top - I attached a neoprene stylus pocket to the front of my rM folio (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08Z9Y2FLS/). I positioned it close to the right edge of the front cover, so the cover can still fold "flat" when folded around the back.
For the case this KuRoKo one on Amazon is what I got, and it's great so far. Fits perfectly, cutouts are all good, construction is sturdy and it is holding up well.
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B08TTSCG19?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
For the pen I have both the Wacom One pen (with button) and the Staedtler Noris Digital Jumbo. Both fit in the pen holder on the above case, and both work with remarkable brand tips. The Wacom pen is flared so has to go in the holder upside down (exposing the nib) which I don't love, so the Noris rides along and I keep the Wacom at home for use here.
The "Lamy hack" works for the button on the Wacom just the Lamy pen, but you do have to reapply after each update which is a bit of a pain.
I've seen some titanium nibs on Amazon. Not a ton of reviews on them but seems interesting and I've been considering giving them a try. Maybe someone here has experience with them?
My KuRoko doesn't have a logo. Maybe depends on which one. Mine is this one... https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08YR28RRD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I have the STAEDTLER Jumbo and it's a snug fit but it does fit.
I just got tired with the nibs too soft. And with sketching on the remarkable I finish 1 in 1 day. So I just changed the nibs to titanium based nibs. I love it. I have the same type of nibs I bought from the same company for my samsung fold, and tablet. I love them. On the screen protector the pen just glides smoothly. Yes it works over the screen protector. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BF9WJ8VX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Just got my remarkable 2 last week. Didn’t even think of just getting the scribe pen as it is 50% of the cost. Curious how well it works once you get it.
I don’t have it yet but I ordered this case. Some other Reddit posts gave it good remarks.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08SWLQ3LP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&th=1
Someone else mentioned the Ayuto case and I second it. Definitely need one with the stylus loop. The magnetic pen attachment to the tablet is not good enough. It will fly off as soon as it bumps against anything.
This is the one I have.
Ayotu Case for Remarkable 2 Paper... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B098B27MRS?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I ordered a scribe and liked it but the software was too crippled for my work so ordered a reamarkable, I really didn't like the feel of the plus pen on the remarkable so have put a scribe nib in and have the best of both worlds now. I have actually ordered a scribe pro pen which comes woth 5 nbs for £47 from amazon and will use that as the rubber feels much better and will return the remarkable pen plus and save £60 imho.
Case wise I bought this very classy and works great, only thing it won;t do it sleep and wwake but compared to the £149.99 remarkable want to charge I'll cope.
The Ayuto case is a reasonable copy of the OEM fabric folio, and also uses magnets to hold the tablet in place. There is even a slightly larger version that has a physical pen loop.
I personally think the regular Ayuto case is good, since it holds the pen pretty firmly due to the shape of the edges of the case.
Drop protection is probably not so good, so you might want to stick it into a cheap small laptop sleeve when traveling for better protection. But while using it on a table, the fact that it is so low profile is very nice.
The official folios are not worth the money imo. I bought this one.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08SW9HXD4?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1
This is not magnetic, if that's important to you. It clips in/around your remarkable giving it a little bit of drop protection. The exterior is a soft yet grippy cloth. I use it in a pretty dirty environment, and don't have a problem cleaning it off. It's also available in a variety of colors.
The official folios are nice, but you can find similar stuff for a fraction of the price. You just need to do some digging.
I purchased this one and it works well.
I’ve got the same case (albeit a different colour) and it’s been absolutely perfect. This is the one I have https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B097B3BJZN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I travel a lot for work so having this always available as a mousepad is surprisingly convenient. Great for hotels/airports/etc. where you might not have a good mouse surface.
Here’s the case: amazon link
assuming you haven't bought anything yet, I'd consider the LAMY AL-star EMR pen while it's on sale, it's the same price as the digital jumbo and seems to be superior in most ways, assuming you don't mind the size (it's thicker / bigger than the others)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08K1JT1C2/
The Lamy is pretty much the same writing experience - The digital jumbo, it just feels different, i don't know how else to describe it -
It also uses sticky pads to attach the remarkable which I don’t like the idea of
i can hghly recommend this one
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B098B27MRS?psc=1&ref=ppx\_yo2ov\_dt\_b\_product\_details
It’s like the official book folio but cheaper. There are similar ones by the same company so be careful, this one has a magnet attachment at the spine (rather than adhesive tabs) and a pen loop to keep your pen safe. The slight overhang and magnetic tabs ensure that it stays closed and it protects the pen. It’s also quite lightweight and doesn’t add too much thickness to the device. I have tried quite a few alternatives but this is by far the best that I’ve found
I just change it when the pen starts to drift too much.
You can reshape the tips with a file a bit, but usually I just move on. Due to a warranty replacement I've got a couple packs of the default nibs. These Wacom nibs are also a drop-in replacement: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DX77DN3 — a bit 'glidier,' more glassy feel to the writing, but I kind of like that. As a lefty I like little resistance when I write.
I will say that I LOVE my RM2. I use it every single day. It's also not something I see myself replacing that often. I mean once I buy one there's very few features I would really get on the next version that'll make me drop another $300-500 on a glorified notebook.
That being said, I will drop this for your consideration: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09BS26B8B Amazon is releasing their own version with the added benefit on a better ebook reader. The biggest petpeave I have with the RM2 is unless you're running a hacked version of the OS, the e-reader experience is pretty atrocious.
I have not used the amazon version. Not sure if it's any good but at the very least the e-reader should be good (can they really screw that up?), not sure about the writing experience.
Food for thought before you make your purchase.
I have this guy and really like it. Then eraser works, it comes with 5 free marker tips, and it’s a quarter of the price compared to the ReMarkable 2 maker. The only thing that’s a bit problematic is there’s no magnet, I have to keep that in mind
https://www.amazon.com/STAEDTLER-180J-equipped-displays-yellow-black/dp/B086N4KK7Z
Per the other commenters, yes a folio cover is important. I went a few days without one and was worried about dropping or damaging my RM2. I got this folio https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B097BZ3PWY?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details (Australian Amazon site as I'm in NZ) but there are the equivalent on the US site too. It's great value for money compared to the RM folio and is perfect really. It has a double sided tape thing in the middle that you stick your RM2 to so that it doesn't move about. It fits nicely and the pen holder is just the right size. Totally can't complain and a quarter of the price I'd have paid for the RM branded folio.
I highly recommend this one

Hi there no worries. I just read back my replies and I may have come across a little negatively with regards to the remarkable capabilities. I just want to reassure you that I do love the device for both note taking and sketching Sketching on it outdoors just feels magical especially compared to an iPad. and with the new beta they have introduced undo using a two finger tap which is super handy.
if you haven’t smashed the buy button yet I would recommend saving a little money buy opting for the standard pen rather than the one with the eraser as a few people have had issues with it’s construction. And also I would opt for a 3rd party case as the official ones are a little over priced.
i ghly recommend this one

i hope you enjoy your remarkable
The original ones are way overpriced. The ones on Amazon that show up when you search for Remarkable seemed poor quality, ugly, don’t protect the corners, etc.
I ended up getting this envelope-style one marketed for ipads and it works great. Has a pen holder, protects all edges & corners, and isn’t boring looking. The magnet clasp occasionally affects the screen, but it’s easily fixed by swiping the magnet on the stylus.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MFLD9FK/ref=twister_B07NW8DG76?th=1
Staedler Norris is truely the best alternative. Would 100% recommed getting it + something like https://www.amazon.de/-/en/gp/product/B07PXL4Y8C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 or any other Apple Pencil holder. Its safer than magnets too (coming from someone who lost their original remarkle pen, getting it into and out of my backpack quite often).
I’ve attached the pen on the top of the tablet which makes it pretty safe for transport in a backpack.
The Ayotu case resembles the gray RM folio, but is slightly more synthetic/plastic like (not in a bad way), and more cleanable imo
you can buy a pen holder on amazon for like 7-10 bucks, they work okay - and stick to most surfaces.
https://www.amazon.com/Planner-Notebooks-Journals-Adhesive-Leather/dp/B09X79C856/
lots of other options, search around.
I found a folio on etsy that i use everyday which keeps the pen inside, and it "zips" up - preventing you from losing your pen, it's the best option imo, because it's hard backed and i can toss it in my backpack and not worry about it.
https://www.etsy.com/listing/1131284777/remarkable2-hardbound-book-case-for
it's really up to you and your use case scenario.
I tried the BOOX Note Air 2 and didn't like the Android-ness, so it depends on what you're going for. Try the different ink sizes and built-in choices. Also, this pen has a different feel. I like this and the RM2 pen https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B086N4KK7Z/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_asin\_title\_o09\_s01?ie=UTF8&th=1
i've done something similar - i ONLY have a brick phone (looks like a zach morris phone form the 90s) and two things - it's large size and inconvenience makes me not take it everywhere I go,
and here's the really wierd part - it's gotten me laid more than once. people are amazed by it - it's one of the most amazing conversation starters I've ever had. Frankly it's so much that I actually got a small candy bar phone for me to take with me when i got out, so i don't get harassed about it constantly.
for those curious- i've actually had several, this is the one which works the best if you are starting new, no this isn't a listing of mine or anything - (i currently rock a binatone brick, but it's impossible to find and only works on 2g - 2g works here, but barely)

I use this case I got from Amazon for $22 and just love it. Sturdy, landscape stand, etc.

I had the same question and didn't purchase their pen with my original order. I had sticker shock when I saw the order total, so I nixed the pen and folio. I picked up this pen from EBay instead: HP 2EB40UT X360 11 EMR Pen with Eraser. The folio from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B094NBGG78?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1
I can say the HP pen worked fine but once I discovered that this remarkable and I were becoming inseparable and I was developing a serious emotional crush... I went back and ordered the pen with an eraser. It's my favorite pen to use.
I've had mine for a couple of months and love it. If I were buying it now, these are the only things that would push me toward another e-ink tablet:
Otherwise, if you're looking for a simple note-taking tablet with no backlight, the reMarkable 2 is probably going to fit your needs. Using a referral code cuts down on the cost, and you don't have to buy their proprietary case or stylus. I bought the third-party KuRoKo case and Staedtler stylus. (Not sure about the comparative quality of the case, but I've tried both the Staedtler and more expensive reMarkable styluses and I prefer the Staedtler.)
In that case, maybe you could try Boox Note Air2? I haven't used it myself but writing on it seems to be greatly improved compared with the previous version (based on some reviews from Youtube). You can purchase it from Amazon and utilize their 30-day free return policy to give it a try.
I was looking into some styluses and stumbled upon: Staedtler Noris Digital mini.
Does it support remarkable nibs? I still have 5 of them to use :/
Does the eraser work too with the staedler?
Thanks for your help
I thought the same, and also bought the tablet only.
I already had the Lamy EMR stylus and am quite happy with how that works.
I bought this case: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B097B2VRRT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It's good quality, and doesn't add much bulk. The tablet snaps in with a magnet, so is easy to remove.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B14L5RWQ/ref=cm_sw_r_apanp_bC9D4UPawbJhp
This is the one I bought and it's absolutely PERFECT. Like I never thought I'd be this obsessed over a case but everything about it, from the pen loop, to the magnets is just perfectly made
I bought this case and have been happy with it. Magnet is pretty strong so it stays closed in my backpack, leaves enough room for the pen to stay magnetically attached.
My folio: nice protection, some space to put stuff like the remarkable pen nibs and a place to hold the pen. Very useful for the pen that I use. https://www.etsy.com/fr/listing/705445510/housse-houes-etui-en-cuir-remarquable?click_key=6a0fba0b0905a600a395209d94ad5c97bd2b603b%3A705445510&click_sum=192f62b0&ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga...
My pen, the nib is more protected. I broke the tip of the remarkable pen and I m pretty sure it cannot happen so easily on this new pen. And I love it looks https://www.amazon.fr/Staedtler-180J-num%C3%A9rique-%C3%A9criture-technologie/dp/B086N4KK7Z/ref=asc_df_B086N4KK7Z/?tag=googshopfr-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=411502117163&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1327219478613928942&hvpone=&hv...
I got this case and I love it! Cheap, durable. Has a holding strap and best of all stands in landscape for writing. Super strong. case on Amazon
Now from time perspective I think this from your link is better then I have already - I mean this one - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B097B3BJZN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 because you don't need relay on magnetic pen, you can use any pen. I my case I need use only magnetic :(
for now I bought this sleeve:
https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B07VQYDDPL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
it's for 13" device... the height size is perfect... the width size is too big. I have the space to put the pen but I think remain about 4 cm empty.

I used this one (rM1 version) for my rM1
I didn't get one for my rM2, though.
There is this excellent sleeve here on Amazon, there has a little thing to hold your pen. This is Amazon US, but I found the same one in Amazon FR, so I'm pretty sure it's in other countries as well.
I never bothered with it because my handwriting sucks but I made suggestion on how in this subreddit multiple times.
First, as others are being pedantic so can I. Unless you write like a typewriter you probably want HWR (Hand written recognition) rather than OCR (Optical character recognition). I share few example on doing OCR either remotely, e.g desktop or self-hosted server, or locally, direction on the reMarkable. It works but the result, again especially on my hand writing, are basically rarely usable.
For OCR I used Tesseract https://github.com/tesseract-ocr/tesseract which is available via toltec on device. If you want to look at more modern approaches https://huggingface.co/microsoft/trocr-base-handwritten might be interesting.
Anyway assuming you've done that for every document, using e.g rsync on .rm files (should take few seconds) you can convert to e.g SVG strokes then (and that's the wasteful step) to e.g PNG/JPG to feed it to OCR. Once that's done you can index the content for each note or just straight up grep it.
I highly recommend this one

It’s like the official book folio but cheaper. There are similar ones by the same company so be careful, this one has a magnet attachment at the spine (rather than adhesive tabs) and a pen loop to keep your pen safe. The slight overhang and magnetic tabs ensure that it stays closed and it protects the pen. It’s also quite lightweight and doesn’t add too much thickness to the device. I have tried quite a few alternatives but this is by far the best that I’ve found
Hi - no bluetooth required, I think it just needs to be an 'EMR' stylus. I believe the Staedtler norris could be a good budget option for you, but looks like it has mixed reviews for use with the Remarkable so YMMV
I bought a magnetic sleeve for the pencil off of Amazon. It took a bit of effort to slide it on the Staedtler, but it works great. Highly recommend this instead of drilling and gluing.
Search on this reddit. Lots of options. I use this one as it has a large rubber base so the notebook doesn't get scratched.
I use one like this one: https://www.amazon.com/LOOMERILY-lectura-recargable-brillo-l%C3%A1mpara/dp/B09W4PR1YH/ref=mp_s_a_1_44?crid=394IS9P0PN1C2&keywords=reading+lamp&qid=1658346795&sprefix=reading+lamp%2Caps%2C203&sr=8-44
I'm considering Glucosent ones. They are usbc and las a little longer. I like light weight and the flexibility of the neck of mine though. I clip it on top of my remarkable. No worries damaging the glass, the clip is covered in rubber.
I use a similar Glocusent LED Neck Reading Light,... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WNRN9WQ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I like that one as it has multiple brightness & different hues (brilliant white to yellow)
I use this one. It looks stupid but works well. I use it to journal in bed without waking my husband.

I originally purchased the OEM stylus ($100) and folio ($150) but returned the folio. I also wanted to return the stylus but magnetic attachment on folio isn't the best (stylus is not protected by folio) so I very quickly lost it within about a week. Not happy about that, $100 lost.
Now, I use Staedtler Noris Digital Jumbo and a different cover with an actual storage space for the stylus (not just a magnet), MUCH better price (about $60 for both), more convenient... very happy, and I've had it a year and a half and haven't lost my new stylus. 😊
Staedtler Noris Jumbo, link also shows regular Noris version
I highly recommend this one

No, However, I use this:

Works great.
Yeah, it is several more interactions to go to url in browser, download pdf, switch to remarkable app, open pdf location, drag pdf to remarkable app (or import button), rather than just paste the url!

Good idea on curl, i'll look into it :) Maybe ifttt.com is an option!
It's always the stylus. Usually, the nib just gets jammed in there too tight, and repositioning it works. Sometimes rebooting solves it. Otherwise, you need to get a new stylus (although I'd recommend something like the Staedtler Noris Jumbo, rather than the official stylus).

I just bought this one rM 1 case
...or you can attach an inexpensive neoprene stylus pocket to the purpose-built folio. Personally, I've not liked these plastic corner-and-edge grabber cases because they add so much bulk with the plastic cradle by itself before you even consider the cover.
