if you plug the coordinates from the paste bin into a star map and go to the time at which the files on the server are last modified, you find a constellation similar to the one in the image: http://www.skymaponline.net/view.aspx?r=9611&x=9652&y=8386&lat=47.378049&long=-122.169226&time=20150310191500&rotation=90&w=960&h=500&gmtoffset=-240&loc=Kent,%20United%20States&id=76fed8eb78
It reminds me of of the Runic Alphabets but only two of the symbols match up. Also a quick google search found this for "vri fax"
Edit: I just read the tag on rhotias' post and it totally does look like it says hrsnss! Very clever.
(Also hi I've been keeping up with the reddit for a while. I'm one of the Facebook admins. This is like the first time I've used reddit so sorry if some the formatting doesn't work)
OK, I'm using GMT/UTC, which seems to work better, as well as being more sensible.
If you look in Hercules, epsilon and rho are right next to each other, which is promising. Haven't figured the others out yet, though.
I'm using http://www.skymaponline.net/skymap.aspx with 15:15 on the 10th of March 2015, and the coordinates from the link.
Please note that many stars on the map are given by name, not identifier.
oooo this helps alot. When I say I'm new to writing lyrics for songs, I mean I'm like super new. I've legit never written a song that had vocals in it. This whole song for me is alot of figuring out stuff (first song of mine with vocal chopping too) so I figured I'd use lyrics for once.
I should probably read Combinatorics pfft. And also thanks for the link to Contrast, I've never heard it before!
Thank you, I'll be sure to share it with you guys when I'm done!
Actually, might as well share where I'm at rn for you guys being helpful and stuff. here's what the instrumental is at currently!
