Got a lot of fans of Decay so far.
Not so much for Growth.
I think I'm just gonna post the results down here. I'll make another thread specifically for the results later for those that miss it.
The game is not available for Android phones, or tablets below a certain screen resolution. What tablet are you using?
If your tablet is compatible, you should be able to find it in the Google Play Store. Here's a handy link to the game: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mojang.scrolls
I would like to bring back some of the early beta impressions of Imperial Resources: https://web.archive.org/web/20130614210126/http://www.scrollsfans.com/forums/scrolls/scrolls/35286-imperial-ressources-is-probably-the-only-rare-that
Oh how have the times changed...
Scrolls development is mighty slow. When I tire of waiting for the next piece from the devs to hit, I've been enjoying the pre-alpha of Duelyst and the regular release of Cardhunter, both with collectible cards and grid based tactics.
Some stats that will hit you like an arrow to the knee:
Minecraft was released in 2009, but still In the last 24 hours, 15,370 people bought the game.
So x10 as many people bought Minecraft than Players online in Scrolls in the last 24h (1483).
No. Full details are in the ScrollsGuide post and for easy reference, see this countdown timer - http://www.timeanddate.com/countdown/generic?iso=20140921T09&p0=256&msg=Twitchmatic%27s+Tournament&swk=1
I tried some CCGs and the one that felt more familiar was Faeria which I enjoyed quite a bit at the begginig but at some point the card design started to fell too much like hearthstone with random elements that really wasn't necessary a game that tries to be deep and some of those cards are played competitively and I just played less and less... but it's a good game and maybe you don't find that problem.
Then I discovered Prismata which is not F2P right now (it will be in the future) but you can easily get a free key if you ask for it in the subreddit or in the Discord channel. This is not a CCG but the gameplay feels like a card game. In fact it's quite unique and hard to describe, there's no randomness and there are moments of a lot of tension which is something Scrolls also had in my point of view and I really enjoy it, the only problem is that the community is quite small and the people who plays it is really good so is hard at the beggining but there are bots quite well done which are very fun to play against too.
There are over 30 million individual Minecraft players, if I had to guess. AFAIK PC sales are less than mobile/xbox sales. It is of course impossible to tell how many duplicate accounts people have.
“To know your Enemy, you must become your Enemy.” ― Sun Tzu, The Art of War
“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle” ― Sun Tzu, The Art of War
That book is nowadays more relevant in economics than in warfare, because its more about non-violent strategies when applied to modern weaponry and mass production.
About a year ago I looked around and basically ended up with the same list that you just gave. I finally decided on the Samson Go Mic for my own use. So far I'm quite happy with it. Sounds a lot better than my headset did, and doesn't take up much space.
