The whole thing about the music industry makes me think it's about a girl who's sole desire is to get her next "fix", that being a band it can exploit, and the music itself is being exploited for money the same way an addict is.
In the end, the music industry is harming itself the same way an addict does, the music being the body of that industry and the mind behind it those who take decisions that harm it, without any regard for the world around it ("Lost inside her dirty world, no one hurts this pretty girl but her...") But that's just my view on it ;-)

There is "sealer" for face paints to keep them from running &gt;like this< it is also used for just regular make up too. If you you look up paints and just add sealer to the search a lot of companies make them. No idea what brand they use though.

Printed the 9-point star using rasterbator.net so I can get it to be big enough (2.5 pages), then I cut out some of the shape, so it doesn't fall off and placed the paper outline on a black t-shirt, then I pressed red paint on to it with a sponge. I had to paint 3 layers on it so the black t-shirt doesn't shine through the paint. Then I cut the star out of the t-shirt and hand-stitched it onto the pants.

Just half and half. Obviously before they repaint remove as much as possible. I just use nail polish remover on a wash cloth. Base coat is a darker brown, then dry brush an off white cream ontop of that. Army green for the staples

Im using a wireless dynamic mic from amazon recorded using OBS Studio while using the clean filter with Bass and Treble turned all the way on Voicemod. I think the mic makes it sound more distorted than it should lol

I am going to my first Slipknot show in September (been a fan since the early 2000s, but seeing them just hasnt worked out) and decided I would make a mask for the show. But first, I have questions regarding the current tour.

I got the duality exp. for me and a friend and dont really know what to expect. The website says the show starts at 5:30, but I cant seem to find info based on when doors open or when the "early access" is. Just need to figure out when we should arrive, so if anyone has info, I would greatly appreciate it.

On to the mask...
I bought a (very basic) tool kit from amazon (linked below) and some veg tan leather (2.0 mm). The photo shows my progress so far. I plan on gluing the same red material I used to make the logo on the cutouts around the eyes and was also considering doing some sort of stitching around the entire edge of the mask.
I have absolutely zero experience with leather and am not really sure about what to do to really set it off. I am okay with it looking pretty rudimentary, but any tips you guys might have would be greatly appreciated. Especially regarding finishing edges, any sort of carving or design tips, etc. I know a lot of you have made masks, so hopefully you all have some feedback.
The most important part for me now is the strap system and how to put something somewhat comfortable onto it.

I have them at a recording studio, they are published by Hal Leonard. I found mine at Guitar Center years ago but you can find them on amazon pretty easily.

I'm not entirely sure, I became a fan in 2001 and I remember googling them back then and finding some pictures of them unmasked on the web, obviously not official and therefore I took them with a grain of salt, but most turned out to be legit.
