I switch between Audiobooks and Podcast. I tend to use Podcast Addict (Google Play) to listen to a wide array of Podcast because they have a very good search tool. I use Audible for the Audiobooks, but I will admit that I lean much more towards podcast.
There's an app on android that lets you do all this too called Delivery Droid. The app can be a little intimidating at first because it's very customizable for things like delivery fees based on per runs, or for a set minimum number if pies, tips, addressing. It'll auto route the fastest route using Google if you input all your runs before you leave the store.
This link to onedrive will show you the stats page that I use. All you have to do is insert your own pay rates. My store uses a split wage between delivery and instore. That will be simple enough to change. This also just assumes an even estimated 33% tax rate which can also be adjusted.
This also assumes you are reporting 100% tips.

I use this
I believe it was written by someone in this sub. Works great for me. I think there's a free version too? Not sure though.
And this is why I always carried a high power flashlight with me when delivering.
Here is the page on Amazon! It’s also online on Barnes and Noble’s website but they’ll charge you shipping for days.
It’s released with a limited edition cover, too. If you want to look at some of the promotional stuff before you bite the bullet (I feel weird telling people that they should just buy it) here’s the Facebook page. It has videos, descriptions and stuff on it.
Cool. Good luck!
Btw, Amazon sells magnets for name tags. I've used these before and never had the magnets fail.
Every driver has a smartphone I assume.

Or hell even just make them send pic of any 20 to the manager on duty or use the counterfeit pen.
Dude, I saw someone out walking their dog right after the sirens went off here. Like he was inside when they went off, but decided "yeah, better take the dog out for a dump now."
Or how about the loads of people in Ohio that were chewing out a Fox Weatherman on social media because he interrupted "The Bachellorette" when there were actual tornadoes on the ground, but they were pissed he was ruining their show.
I'm trying to find it. I know about this third hand. A coworker of mine knows an attorney that practices in California and Washington. That attorney sent my friend a link, which was then forwarded to me; but when I try to access the link, the page no longer exists. I'll have to see if my friend posted the meat of that webpage elsewhere.
After doing some rudimentary searching, what I found was: http://www.schiffhardin.com/Templates/Media/Files/Publications/HTML/labor_090514.html
from the body of the article: > In reaching this conclusion, the court of appeal held that when employees are required to use their personal cell phones for work-related calls, Labor Code section 2802 requires the employer to reimburse them "a reasonable percentage of their cell phone bills."
you can also just search for Cochran v Schwan's Home Service, Inc.,
I took a quick look at your posting history and it looks like you're Canadian. My comments were based on an assumption that you were in the US. Since I am not familiar with the Canadian industry. I'll only say that blindly trusting the information given to you by the two people you mentioned might not be such a good idea. They have every interest in being dishonest.
And since I do not know, other than a cursory google search of a few links discussing the Canadian classification of independent contractors, I won't be able to make intelligent comments on this issue either. You're on your own on whether your employer is doing right or wrong by you.
If you were in the US I'd be able to comment further.
I have one with 3 cameras. You could go to Walmart or any auto parts store and get one cheap. There are dozens if not hundreds of cheap cams:

Assuming his name is actually josh as mentioned in the post i think this would be the book he mentioned: https://www.amazon.com/Phoenix-Dawn-Rise-Witch-Walker-ebook/dp/B01MG1RGHS
Of course only OP can confirm.
When I was delivering 30+ hours a week, I got one of those back lumbar support pads. It helped. And, of course, take breaks, stretch, drink tons of water.
you can use this app to create a work profile which you can toggle on/off when you are on the clock. When the profile is disabled none of the apps inside it can run.
> Uber wasn’t there when I was there last year.
You sure you didn't see those bright green backpacks everywhere? You must have your eyes on the back of your head. Or you might have come before November.
> Can’t find anything online saying uber eats is there.

Zebra stainless click pens. Get pen compliments with regularity.
Doubles as an emergency Tracheotomy kit in a pinch.
Keep up on oil changes, tire rotations and air filters. Go spend $10 on a tire plug kit and throw it in your car with a pair of needle nose pliers to pull the plug through the tool. Should be available at any auto parts store/walmart/maybe even Dollar General. The shop will plug them for cheap, but for me it's more convenient to just do it.
between google maps and the tip tracking app i use, i've got most of that functionality. all i lack from that list is the car-specific stuff. maps allows you to add multiple destinations, then you can rearrange them based on flow. this is the tip tracker i use. keeps track of tips with color coding for cash, credit and mixed; estimated miles driven; hours worked (as well as hourly wage) and will calculate average tip, average tip per mile and average hourly tips. looks like there was an update yesterday adding even more functionality.
Dude, reading that was a trip. Don't listen to the haters. You've got talent. Channel this energy into a book. Anyone confused should try reading Riddley Walker. Gahbless!
$20 range or $50 range? There's a big jump in quality between the two. I use this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RT73GIU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (it's adequate but the lanyard WILL break almost immediately and it has some annoying quirks.)
But I regret not spending the extra cash for the "NiteCore P20 Tactical Strobe Ready 800 Lumens LED Flashlight, Black" from these guys: http://lightsngear.com/lightsngear-store/
The dudes at lightsngear.com actually contacted me after I posted a review on amazon and sent me a new lanyard and a belt holster for the mid-quality flashlight I didn't even buy from them just out of the goodness of their hearts and in order to win a new customer when my flashlight inevitably dies on me. They succeeded in impressing me with the gesture.
You should check out the garmin speak plus. It’s really comparably priced with other dash cams, but it’s really useful. Garmin Speak Plus
Instead of copying & pasting, you could use the Delivery Tracker Pro app to make this easier. There's an option to add a custom text message, plus tons of other helpful features for delivery drivers. I use it for every shift, & would be lost without it at this point!
Thank you so much for the gold and upvotes. I know in our line of work, it's easy to get caught up in the negatives and I'm glad this could brighten some days. If anyone is interested, a few days back. I also shared a story about a race and a trophy I won from a pizza delivery race.
Also, if anyone is interested, I did write a book with some of these stories. If anyone wanted to preorder a paperback, or follow it for its paperback, audible, and kindle releases, this is the link where it will all be available November 1st.
Please, don't feel you have to get the book. I fully intend to share the best stories from it here over the next few months, but I appreciate all the support for the book that I can get.

Not a pizza delivery driver, but I keep something [like this] (www.amazon.com/dp/B07QRSZ6YZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_tdWsFb2Q9HXE6) in my car in case I have to keep anything smelly in my car (friends smoking, picking up dinner, etc.) Not exactly this but the one I have is similar enough, it should get the job done.
I usually just buy the cheap one at Walmart for $15. I'm going to be trying this one though because I do Lyft & Uber in my spare time: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QDYZM75/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=A3CIGEUYW4U1DT&psc=1
It's called Delivery Tip Tracker Pro.
I made it. Go here if you have Android and you'd like a free code.
iOttie One Touch CD-slot mount: https://www.amazon.com/iOttie-Holder-iPhone-Samsung-Smartphones/dp/B076B5L4H6
The suction cup version pulls loose from the dash after a couple of house if you have a big/heavy phone.
There's a free version too, dunno the difference
It uses GPS to track mileage your mileage too
OK, so I looked over the code and there are multiple things that could be happening here. The best way for me to diagnose it would be for you to enter in some orders with these addresses and then make a backup file and send it to me. Just go to Settings > Manage data > Generate database backup file. And then find that file using a file browser (I use X-Plore) and email it to me at . Then I'll be able to restore the backup and see things how you see them.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01A1HL79E/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This is what I use. It's a combination of GPS & Dashcam so you can punch in where you want to go easily. It keeps track of a bunch of data like driving speed and recent addresses.
This is the one I have, I see there's a cheaper one now too, but this one looks like it grips the phone better!
Yeah, probably the dongle. It's got a great mic and connects well, but I'm sure the technology in a fully connected BT stereo system would be better. You can control a lot more of the phone stuff from those. It's on my wish list to get a touchscreen stereo installed, but I'm working on saving up for a house down payment right now.
The dongle is a this one: https://www.amazon.com/iClever-Bluetooth-Hands-Free-Multi-Point-Activation/dp/B00GJFGE0K which I'm just now seeing is $20 cheaper than when I bought it. LOL
It's a bit more expensive here than it is at Walmart though.
those make an awesome spotlight :)
or if you want tiny, these are bright :) http://www.amazon.ca/Streamlight-66118-Stylus-Flashlight-Holster/dp/B0015UC17E/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1428923733&sr=8-1&keywords=streamlight
I use a spotlight like this http://www.amazon.com/Stanley-SL5W09-Watt-LED-Spotlight/dp/B001U04MCG And deliver to a lot ghetto areas. Once I had a guy fuss at me because my light was so bright that he thought I was the po-lease, but that's just because they were in there getting high.
I use two separate apps for tracking my hours/runs. I use Time Recording to track my hours and tips and the app works fantastically. For tracking my runs and their respective customers and their tipping habits, I use Delivery Droid. Every time I get a delivery I plug the order details into DD and the total after tip upon delivery. If I've already delivered to that address before the app shows what they tipped the last time.
