I did, still not working. The watchlist shows me only one movie, and that movie I added via TeaTV app. All other movies I added to watchlist on trakt.tv do not show up unfortunately.
When teatv.net went dark(see Torrent Freaks article) Windows support ceased and android devices seemed to be supported with "updates", from [a]"Teatv.me" including the most current v9.9r. This may, in fact,be a "mod". A Terrarium mod appeared, when Terrarium went dark. I did not use the TTV mod because I had already been using a well functioning Tea tv for several months. I have installed the recent 9..9r Tea tv in my firetvs gen1 and gen2. They are steaming tv and movies and even downloading with no problems. Along with kodi, I installed Tea tv on my mother in law's samsung j7 phone, but the Tea tv app would not work. I uninstalled/reinstalled it left the phone alone to see if it needed time for everything to upload. No Joy! In the meantime, [coincidentally??] the phone started getting over 30 pop up ads of all types, including very adult type ads. Up until then, her phone was used for picture taking, phone calls, texts and viewing youtube videos posted by her children and grandchildren. When I uninstalled Tea tv, the pop up ads stopped. That has been over 3 weeks. My motherin law can still use kodi to stream movies. It just takes a little more time. For me, if I'm going to stream with Tea tv, I'll take the precaution to use it on a device that is not used for personal or business purposes. I don't use my firetvs to make purchases, only for steaming content through kodi or Amazon Prime. So I'm okay with experimenting and using Tea tv on those devices. After the fact, I noticed that the Teatv.me website has no Contact information. If not a red flag, it should be at least a caution, yellow one. I'm now using Scamadviser to check web addresses before installing software. I'm continuing to use kodi to stream and download content(deleting it after viewing). So I'm not missing tea tv no more than I wasn't missing Terrarium. Maybe this experience may be a help,to someone else. Who knows?
The app seems to work fine for most people. Make sure you are downloading it from the official website ( https://teatv.net/) and check your Apps list in the settings for unexpected or hidden apps, especially ones with names you don't recognise, or no names at all.
TeaTV is safe to use.
To understand this issue, you should read this article: https://teatv.net/what-is-teatv-is-teatv-safe-to-you-free-movies-and-tv-show-app/

Rd is real debrid.
A service hoster with the best streams. You can use for many apps and is cheap. Search here in reddit for info.
No danger for torrents because they are cached.
Just use an app called web video cast from the google play store. It's casting works with the companion app for smart TVs and/or legacy casting on Roku. I only use teatv to find the links.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.instantbits.cast.webvideo
It's basically a web browser with built in casting and ad blocker
OP, ignore certain other commenters who are obviously overcompensating for something lacking in their lives by being condescending assholes. The problem is these servers tended to be overloaded already before all this quarantining stuff began. Now they're really struggling, and the fact that two of the largest file hosting services were shut down by legal maneuvering just a few months prior to all this isn't helping matters.
I strongly suggest you start downloading things before playing them to eliminate this problem. Download manager apps will split the download into multiple parts in order to maximize your bandwidth usage and thus get the file faster. In these video streaming apps you can usually choose something along the lines of "Play with..." by long-pressing the link you want until a menu appears with that option in it. Choose it and then tell it to "play" with the download manager app of your choice.
IDM is a very good download manager that can even download HLS streams which most others can't. If you want to start playing while it's still downloading, then LoaderDroid is an oldie, but goodie - just wait until it has gotten around 30% downloaded before opening the file for playback.
When you're done playing, don't forget to delete the file or you'll quickly run out of space on your device.
YTA. Stop victim-blaming. A little of what you say is true, but most of it is only technically possible as a cause. If most of what you said applied, then they'd be having problems with more than just streaming from apps like these. Nine times out of ten the problem lies in the fact they're pulling from overseas servers that were not set up for handling the load worldwide quarantining has caused.

I think the app has to include support for each type of casting protocol. I'd bet TeaTV only supports Google's Chromecast, not your TV's inbuilt DLNA. Best thing to do is probably to tell it to play through an external player program and direct it to use another app to cast like LocalCast. The steam will now go through your device and then to your TV, which will cause additional local network bandwidth consumption - but hey: at least it will work (although I have to turn my device's screen on every 10-15 minutes before it cuts power to the WiFi because it thinks it's not being used).
I deleted the thing. It drove me nuts. There's way too many other options out there. If I ever find one that's consistent, I'll happily donate.
Right now I'm getting great results with Exodus Redux on Kodi. It's VERY consistent, downloads subtitles properly, has beautious resolutions (even in 720), and doesn't spit and stutter. RD whitelists many links and works ok with IPVanish (depending on some things). Everything I like seems to mesh very nicely including Trakt.
On that note....I was angry at IPvanish as they hike rate for renewal but give great discounts to new so I tried NINE others. Gawd they STINK! One hid me so well I couldn't even surf! I kept getting b"you're a bot" messages. .
Finslly i made a new email address and new IPvanish account finally.
I started to use moviebase
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.moviebase
You can search for old movies and tv shows then click open with Google search then copy the title hope there's a faster way
