Ik heb het geleerd van /r/stremio en /r/kodi, maar je moet je eigen research doen. Er zullen vast user guides te vinden zijn op Google. Ik heb zowel kodi als stremio geprobeerd. Als je een snelle gebruiksvriendelijke setup wilt die gewoon werkt, kan je binnen een half uurtje alles klaar hebben en moet je:
- Een mediaspeler kopen (als je t kan betalen een Nvidia Shield TV, anders mecool km6 classic werkt goed, maar helaas geen optie om HDR uit te schakelen dus je tv moet of écht HDR aan kunnen (high-end OLED) of gewoon geen HDR hebben (meeste 1080p tvs) maar niet een budget 4K tv bv, dan zien de kleuren er raar uit zoals ik zelf heb ervaren. Verder kan je kijken op ChigzTechReviews of TVBoxStop op youtube en hun ranglijsten)
- Real-debrid account maken en kopen
- Op je mediaspeler in settings klik iets als “install untrusted sources”
- In de app store download FX File Explorer
- Download hier de stremio apk voor android (download ze allemaal voor de zekerheid en kijk welke werkt)
- zet deze bestanden op een usb
- open FX File Explorer en ga naar media card en installeer daar de stremio apk van je usb
- op je laptop installeer ook stremio (zelfde link als boven), maak een account, ga naar settings -> addons -> installeer deflix en torrentio en volg de enkele stappen daar om je real-debrid account te koppelen
Je kunt natuurlijk ook alleen de real debrid account maken en de laatste stap doen om het te testen op je computer voordat je investeert in een media speler.

If it's only for Thumbnails and stuff, put Kodi on the Shield maybe, and mount the drives with the media on the Shield ?
(ps : Emby is also dependent on .Net. More than that i'm not even sure they did the move to .Net Core yet)

2) for streaming torrents without downloading use stremio
3) If you can download qbittorrent, in that you can enable "download in sequential order" and "download first and last pieces first" and then right click and preview file

The new update is up and running, I have just installed it, and I was watching a movie without subs that stremio older version could not find and this update has already fix that.

Hey i just install the 1.4.10 on my android phone. I just check here https://www.stremio.com/downloads and the apk is not out yet, maybe in a couple of hours or days, I need this apk for my Firestick 4k.
Each episode is full of independent segments so they lend well to YT clips, but there is a story arc across the entire series where his personal life falls apart due to the show. stremio + torrentio plugin can get you most anything, and on android lets you cast to a chromecast. i use that for most media. usually reddit has some good leads on sites with shows/movies.

Edit: esse programa é um app de filmes, séries e afins. Basicamente é só baixar no pc e instalar as extensões que existem dentro dele p poder ter acesso ao conteúdo fornecido por cada provedor. Tb dá p abrir os arquivos .torrent e magnet link nele e assistir. O app tra até legendas, se não vierem embutidas, bastando colocar uma extensão pra isso (esse comentário não é patrocinado, esse app só merece ser compartilhado kkkkk)

Go download stremio and in stremio go to addons and download all the addons you see there then search for highschool dxd and you can watch it uncensored there I promise you It works.
It works like a really simple version of XBMC or Kodi. Install the app on your PC or Android device, launch it, add community add-ons for Torrent sites and then you can find pretty much anything. Movies, TV, whatever.
It's one-click instantaneous streaming for most stuff. Watch a couple YouTube vids on how to set it up, you'll never use anything else again.

I'm trying to install Stremio (https://www.stremio.com/downloads#linux) but when I try to install it with "rpm install" it returns a dependency error and show which deps are missing

Hello i see you are a Torrent download lover... did you ever try the app Stremio? It connects torrents with streaming ability. Means you get a addon (the best addon is torrentio) and then just search for your movie. Get the quality you want and the movie starts playing.

It is absolutely free, there are no ads and it has pretty much all content from Netflix, Prime Video, Hollywood, Bollywood, TV. Serious... And the app is very user friendly like Netflix allowing you to browse content.

We'll a simple but effective way is just hopping on a discord/zoom(or any of the others) call and just sharing you're screen(assuming you have a good internet)
For the app I would recommend stremio with its add-ons(assuming you don't have Netflix, etc)

I dont know how harsh piracy laws are in your country, and if you are willing to watch pirated movies, but if you are, then you can download the program streamio to your computer and then click on the puzzle-piece icon in the topright corner, and then add the "Torrentio" addon there. then can you simply search on "moomin" and the series will appear where you can watch it in english and some episodes in swedish or suomi. There is also Shiro and CloudStream-2 which are also very good apps though I've heard that the developer is working on CloudStream-3. For those who want to stream anime with torrent quality you should also check out Stremio.

This is very vague, I don't know what's your TV's operating system. In case it is android you got stremio. You need to be more specific, you don't just go to a doctor and ask for pills because you're feeling sick, you need to let them know your condition

If you want to cast video files from your computer to chromecast the best way is using airflow. Airflow also has a non-support free version from it's early days that is working pretty well. You have to do a little internet search to find the apk.
Another good but not perfect way to cast local videos from pc to chromecast, is Stremio. Stremio has a drag and drop option for local files. Just drag and drop the video file and subtitle if you have any, in the main menu of Stremio and it will start the video player with the option to cast it. It can also find subtitles online and cast them.
From these two options i prefer Airflow because it can cast almost any type of media file.

Podes escolher de varias qualidades de imagem desde 480p até 4k como se estivesses num torrent.
Muito melhor que essa treta de mrpiracy que querem é guito, cheio de publicidade e teres de pagar para ter o addon para o kodi / tirar publicidade. Eu condeno quem quer lucrar com a pirataria.

popcorn time seems abandoned but I've heard that the interface is nice, if you do go with pct make sure it's a safe link from a legit source. Yeah, I'm just not sure but it's a good guess. If I were you I would just use the opportunity to backup any important stuff and format the drive.
BTW a good idea is when using these kinds of apps to make a separate user account and use fast user switching to flip over and back. They'll be unable to read any of your files in your normal user account.
Also I just discovered another torrent streaming app that runs on macos and is open source, called Stremio. I haven't tried it yet but it might be easier to set up and use than Kodi
I tried it for a few minutes just, don't use it that much generally. Speed went all the way up to 60, even beyond that, buffering was minimal, less than a second every few minutes. This is right now at 12 noon where usage is probably high all around. I went straight into the middle, took a few seconds and then started playing normally. This was 720p and I switched the Mirror from 1 to 2 after 1 was slow.
I use Stremio sometimes to play directly from torrent files and it has no ads. But mostly torrent download nai ho. Takes a few minutes to download a whole movie if the seed is good.

Don't be. You can build your own apk from Github but the readme also has links to a website too. There are way too many copycat apps with tons of adware and malware. On my Firestick I use Stremio (https://www.stremio.com) with two community add-ons (Piratebay and RARBG) and that alone is all you really need for TV shows and movies, which it works amazingly well for me.
Yes its down here too as i type this, will use a simple software called Stremio (which is similar to Popcorn TimeSH) until its fixed, it's times like these that I'm glad I have a backup.

A melhor parte é que você pode adicionar trocentos plugins, já com as legendas do opensubtitles, torrent direto de alguns sites especializados ou até mesmo do The Pirate Bay.
I don't know what you mean if it will leak your IP, it's basically a torrent client with ui and media database so just as any torrent client your IP will be available to all peers.
As for the overall experience, it's not really good. There are ads inside the ui, the videos sometimes just freeze and require a restart of the program, and the video quality for the built-in sources is not always the best. But overall it's usable and safe AFAIK, I was suspicious of it at first but it doesn't do anything shady.
If you didn't know already, it's mostly Russian centric, so if you aren't looking for movies/shows in Russian, then I'd recommend stremio. All you need is just some piracy addons for it and you're set. It has better UI, you can play your own magnet link with a couple of clicks, and so far, aside from occasional audio sync issues in the built-in player I had no problems with it.
Stremio is a pretty close to an alternative of what you are looking for.
It works in browser, but for complete experience and full add-on support, have to have the desktop app running.
There is a desktop app for Linux, Win and Mac. As will as mobile apps for Android and iOS.
