I grew up there and only left about a year ago, they're not doing this because of the wildlife, that's just one of Aspen's spins like how the town claimed they're 100% green energy. For the past few years its been so dry that having fireworks isn't possible/allowed because Aspen Mountain is actually leased from national forest land. God knows the town gov/Skico isn't particularly concerned about wildlife at U'ler nights, Winterskool, New Years, X-Games Food and Wine etc etc because every single one of those events has extremely long fireworks. So, uplifting yeah! But also take with a hefty grain of salt.
Edit: This comment wasn't a criticism of the actual article, more so that OP is being misleading to make this uplifting, AND that Aspen tends to conveniently spin stories. If OP was 100% honest this would literally be titled: 'Colorado town to have drone show in lieu of fireworks tonight due to fire ban'.
OR like the weather channel puts it: Western Wildfires Continue to Burn As Fire Danger Cancels July 4th Fireworks Displays

Trump supporters claiming that it's the tax cuts working, and it's true in THIS case, because non-greedy Costco actually is passing it on to employees while few companies actually are... And that's the thing, Costco is so successful because they have little mark-up, pay their employees well and to make more money they simply open more stores instead of gouging their customers that trust them! It's the perfect, simple business model!
Since 3/4's Costco's total profit is the amount charged in membership fees, you are paying them a whole $60 a year to buy things at only a 10-15% markup over gross cost, and they really push for volume deals so the value is incredible. Also, we get the "executive" (more like "intelligent" plan) and they end up paying US ~$60 a year to shop there, we simply buy as much as they offer for our family of 4 knowing it's a great deal! We end up getting about 80% of our entire household purchases there, maybe 15% Amazon/eBay and 5% other grocery stores. Sure gas doesn't get included in that 2% back, but we save far more than that over the equivalent Arco gas too.

Ars Moriendi, the art of dying, I feel, is often a lost concept in modern society.
Dying with dignity is an oft shunned topic of discussion, but when approached with a level headed understanding, can save tons of suffering for the dying, and even more than that, can save a lot of depression associated with people caring for the dying and their regrets about not making decisions that comforted the dying in their final days, weeks, months, or years.
It's a hard conversation for even doctors to have in industrialized nations, because the expectation is that everyone is just one medical miracle away from recovering some life they used to have, but the reality, in many cases, is that way of life may already be gone.
Expecting that way of life to come back and crazy interventions that may make the patient worse are something people often pursue towards the end, instead of accepting what they are facing, and living out the best life they can while they still have time.
If you are still reading this here, I would highly recommend the book Being Mortal by Atul Gawande as it has given me an unparalleled understanding of the expectations of aging, mortality, and dying, that I could never express as eloquently
> 23 and Me specifically reserves the right to sell their consumers genetic information...
No, they don’t. You quote one part of the privacy policy, but not the parts where they specifically say that you have control over whether or not your data is used for anything other than your own personal knowledge.
I definitely recommend Man's Search for Meaning. It's his most well-known work, and the book from which this quote is taken.
From Wikipedia because I'm a lazy bastard:
"originally published in 1946 as Trotzdem Ja Zum Leben Sagen: Ein Psychologe erlebt das Konzentrationslager, meaning Nevertheless, Say "Yes" to Life: A Psychologist Experiences the Concentration Camp) chronicles his experiences as a concentration camp inmate, which led him to discover the importance of finding meaning in all forms of existence, even the most brutal ones, and thus, a reason to continue living."
Hear me out. Get off the internet for awhile, https://getcoldturkey.com/, keep your t.v. off and unwind however you like to that doesn't involve things that make you angry. Get out into nature if you can.
You seem like you've got a desperate belief system that's poisoning you. It's no different than any purely hateful set of bad ideas because it comes from a good place. I can tell that you want to do good, and that you've found something to point a finger at and say "this is the root of all evil", but the way you're acting isn't doing any favors for the cause you support or yourself.
I don't like to give advice people don't ask for, but really bro, rest, you need it. And after that, channel your strong will to make a change into an absolute positive; volunteer, plant a garden, learn to program, whatever floats your boat.
PM if you want to talk more, you name the topic, i'm not picky.
At most prisons, you have to buy them. And prison labour doesn't pay enough to cover them.
"But most inmates can’t afford to buy pads ($2.63 for a 24-pack) when they’re spending the 75 cents they earn for a day’s work on other necessities like deodorant (which costs $1.93, three days' pay), toothpaste ($1.50, two days' pay), or food that’s more edible than what’s offered in the dining hall. At some prisons, prices are higher, with eight tampons costing $4.23 thanks to a privatized commissary. But even when inmates have the money to buy feminine hygiene supplies, commissaries routinely understock and women are left waiting for a week or two, rendering the pads irrelevant for another month. Toilet paper is also rationed, so crafting homemade toilet-paper pads means forgoing wiping." http://nymag.com/thecut/2015/06/menstruation-can-become-humiliation-in-prisons.html
" At York, each cell, which houses two female inmates, receives five pads per week to split. I’m not sure what they expect us to do with the fifth but this comes out to 10 total for each woman, allowing for only one change a day in an average five-day monthly cycle. The lack of sanitary supplies is so bad in women’s prisons that I have seen pads fly right out of an inmate’s pants: prison maxi pads don’t have wings and they have only average adhesive so, when a woman wears the same pad for several days because she can’t find a fresh one, that pad often fails to stick to her underwear and the pad falls out. It’s disgusting but it’s true." https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2015/jun/12/prisons-menstrual-pads-humiliate-women-violate-rights

You guys know there are things like canvas shopping bags that you can bring to the grocery store, right? No one is forcing anyone to buy heftier plastic bags, and if you use bulk bins you can ask them to tare out containers, etc. instead of using plastic for those as well.
Personally, I use these bags because they're strong as hell and you can neatly pack a full hand cart's worth of groceries into one bag.
Pepper spray/gel is your friend.
I rarely leave the house without it.
Violence can and will come out of nowhere.
I don't want to kill anyone, I don't own a gun. I'll sure as hell put someone into pepper gel hell if someone is at risk because of them though.

Edit: Amazon Link for the kind I daily carry. Its no joke, if you EVER press down the button for any reason, wash your hands as soon as possible and DON'T EVER TOUCH YOUR FACE until you do. Do not EVER think of it as a toy. Not only will this stuff temporarily blind someone, but it'll also cause them to choke and have problems breathing. This is only meant for very serious situations where someone is committing a felony. Use of it outside those situations and your not protected by the law, your committing assault if not something worse. Spraying this on someone with breathing problems could kill them.
Labor was my own. I bought all my new panels at santansolar.com. 20x 285 panels. $2100
2× outback flex80 chargers $1300
1x 5500 watt inverter $1000 ( I use the older heavy xantrax inverters)
Batteries about $2400

I you don't know anything about solar get this book:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01L83TSZ0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_G7DAP9059443FPVRNMYJ
It has cable sizing calculation and system sizing requirements for a given consumption.
Plenty of you tube videos also!
My solar installer wanted $32k to do this for me!👀 No thank you!
Also, if you need a well pump, use a grunfoss... mine only uses 650-750 watts. I have it on separate panels, because no batteries required. Its a direct connect! Mine pumps about 275 gallons an hour.
Another site is batteryhookup.com if you want to really get dirty and in there like some of us.
I am already upgrading to be able to charge two electric cars at the time.
Warning: Getting into solar is very addictive!
Wear a rashie and a hat. I'm Australian and you can get spf 50+ non-chemical sunscreens here. One is called Invisible Zinc, but its pricey. I use the Ego Sunsense Sensitive, at about 1/4 of the price.
In America you can get a sunscreen called "Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen" in sensitive (which is ironic, cos you don't get it in Australia !) or the ThinkBaby Safe
Its worth giving these a go, especially as the zinc and titanium based sunscreens seem to work better in water, and they start working straight away - you don't have to apply 20 mins beforehand like the chemical absorbers.
Idk how you feel about webmd as a source, but at a certain point, higher spf doesn’t really make a difference. It’s more important to apply enough product properly and consistently, and reapply. https://www.webmd.com/beauty/features/high-spf-sunscreens-are-they-better

I'm sure they have an ad blocker detector. Although you can use this chrome extension to get around those (I forgot what it's called, I don't use it anymore because Private Internet Access has an ad blocker called MACE. It's not perfect, but it does what I need it to do, which is block ads on porn sites.).
People have studied this! There's a study that was done that shows that people who get free cats are similarly attached to them as people who pay a fee for the cats.
Maddies Fund did a similar type of study which showed of respondents to a survey who had received a free adoption "the adopted pets were still in the home (93% of the dogs and 95% of the cats). Most pets lived predominantly indoors, slept in the family bed, and had been to a veterinarian - and a resounding 94% of all respondents declared a strong or very strong attachment to the pet, whether the pet was retained or not. The researchers concluded that successful adoptions do not require payment of a fee, and free adoption promotions may increase adoptions without compromising the quality of the animal's life."
http://www.maddiesfund.org/free-pet-adoptions-study-results.htm
Most shelters see these types of events as good things to find homes for needy pets and make room for more. There are always people out there who will game the system or not do right by the pet, but that can happen with any pet, free or not.
> It makes me sad to think the penguin will go there and find his hooman friend dead.

There's a popular myth about how the reintroduction of wolves starts a chain of events that leads to beavers building dams that slow erosion.
Unfortunately, it's only a myth. Doesn't mean that reintroducing wolves is a bad thing, just that they aren't going to fix erosion problems.
>Anti gmo people are against "transgenic modification", which would never occur in nature.
Viral or bacterial transfer of genes is a thing that happens. A lot.
Hell, a lot of GMO's are created that way. This list is all the GMO's that were created through use of the Agrobacterium Tumefaciens, a bacterium that injects it's own DNA into plants. Biotech has piggybacked into that mechanism by getting it to inject their chosen DNA.
>The EU has deemed there isn't sufficient evidence to display GMO's are safe so they're mostly banned there
Not really. The EU agencies responsible for GMO's have allowed them. Countries which are in the EU have then banned them on their own initiative.
In fact, the EU's chief scientific advisor said that GMO's were fine, and the reaction of member states was excessively panicky. Sadly, the environmental organisation then threw a fit and got the entire scientific advisory banned.
>At least we could stop applying DDT, with GMO's good luck removing that DNA info from nature.
The same can be said for any other crop. Whatever plant you're farming, GMO or non-GMO, it's not part of a natural ecosystem.
>I'm not anti-GMO, I just think it should be studied more before we jump on and say its 100% safe. Go look up who funds studies in the U.S. to determine whether GMO's are safe, and tell me if there's no conflict of interest.
The scientific consensus on GMO's is stronger than that of climate change.

Sunshine, puppies, and rainbows don't sell newspapers though. And you don't have to be much of a conspiracy theorist to suppose the left leaning media outlets might be pushing an agenda by focusing more on violent crime even when we are at an all time low. If violence isn't in the headlines every day and firearm sales have been trending up for the last decade then it's awfully tough to scare people into voting in more gun control.

Bullshit. We'd get rid of it in a heartbeat if we could. The only reason we don't is because we can't. Colds aren't just something people hate too, they cost the US $40 billion annually.
As for the attitude towards them- there's a big difference between something you can change and something you can't.
As a matter of fact, after Lithuania donated 20k Covid19 vaccines to Taiwan, earlier this year, and accepted their embassy, the Taiwanese people became extremely happy with Lithuanian support even here on Reddit. So much so that in the Taiwanese subreddit they are even sharing their purchases of different Lithuanian products like chocolate and ice cream. Its absolutely incredible seeing how the two countries are working together. Considering the situation there, I’ll point out that r/NordVPN is also a Lithuanian-made product serving to promote free speech and privacy. I’m sure that someone may be able to find a good use for it.
This book talks about how the woman’s deaf parents were sued by their hearing neighbors for noise issues. They would stomp on the floor to get each other’s attention. The daughter translated for them at the trial. The judge found in their favor.

The girl also came to school with a speech impediment because she only really heard the muddled speech of her deaf family members. Her elementary school principal told her parents to get her radio and leave it on talk/news stations all the time. She learned to speak from the radio.
This is not (strictly) true. The ACA requires a greater range of preventative health services be covered completely by insurance (see a list here), but insurance companies are not required to cover skin cancer screenings as part of that legislation, as far as I am aware. That said, it wouldn't be abnormal for them to cover it, I know my insurance does so completely but only for "fair skinned" individuals.
If you want to know what it will cost, check with your insurance beforehand. It might also matter what doctor you see (if they're "in network") and strictly how you make your appointment.

This confused me too. I thought the title might have been ruined in translation (since it's a Mid-east news agency) but I looked up the word and according to the Cambridge Dictionary, it has two meanings...the second of which might make sense in this context:
> to make someone feel happier or more confident about a situation:
> She was buoyed (up) by the warm reception her audience gave her.
Had to look up the neuston...
>Neuston is the collective term for the organisms that float on the top of water (epineuston) or live right under the surface (hyponeuston). Neustons are made up of some species of fish (see flying fish), beetles (see whirligig beetle), protozoans, bacteria and spiders (see fishing spider and diving bell spider).
Yes, I could see why you would say we're basically fucked.
My only remaining hope is that the companies making synthetic fish meat undercut the market so severely that open sea fishing becomes uneconomical. Then certain large-scale geoengineering projects get tested and are eventually proven to work for the climate. I've always liked the proposal to create 10,000 solar-powered fountains at coastal sites around the world to pump millions of tons of extra water into the atmosphere. Then we invent technology that somehow cleans the oceans without making them lifeless. Then we address alkalinity...
We're basically hoping for technological advancements that feel too much like magic at the moment. If our descendants don't get awful creative the 21st century may be our last one.

Normally you ask a dns server for the ip adress of a certein domain name. But you can change the routing via an entry in the host file for example. Now you are pinning a domain name to an ip adress. This adress can be anything. 0.0.0.0 is in windows = 127.0.0.1 = localhost. A request in this case would not be directed to the server, instead it will ask you own pc for that resource. This will not be answered. Yes this will break some sites, but those are the sites that don't deserve my traffic. The list of domain names can be automatically imported from an external source (e.g. http://someonewhocares.org/hosts/hosts ) with a tool like HostsMan (http://www.abelhadigital.com/hostsman), so it's not much work to keep it updated.

I'm not sure why he has to provide a source for this, since it's so easy to look up and it's pretty common knowledge that Africa's population has been rising every year.
http://www.worldometers.info/world-population/africa-population/
Since deaths are going down steadily the population will rise. This is however not a huge problem, once children and young adults stop dying of easily prevented diseases a lot of parents will stop having many children to try and have some that stay alive. With the modernisation of Africa this will happen, when birth control becomes freely available this will also have an impact.
But since AIDS still kills a million people each year that won't happen any time soon. considering the amount of people in poverty.

Well it supposedly happened just a few days ago and the antique dealer mentioned, Kieran something or other, is an expert in Faberge eggs and I found a radio interveiw with him here. it was originally for seizing assets from criminal enterprises before they could hide them away or be money laundered.
I assume it was perverted into the current status by cops and DAs with zero concept of fair law. Buffered by the fact that the seized assets often went straight to the people doing the seizing without the need to actually charge them with a crime, that's just called stealing.

Not to be depressing on uplifting news, but we really don't need more bilionaires like him, the hedge fund renaissance technologies which he founded has dodged $6 billion of taxes wouldn't you rather have that, rather than this insignificant donation?
We won't really know the full story until we hear it from the coach and the kids. How do we even know he led them in there in the first place?
In any case, there are numerous theories, such as it being a rite of passage for the boys, a birthday celebration, or a relaxing break after a game. It is unlikely they went in very deep, and when heavy rain suddenly started falling, a flash flood trapped them away from the entrance and forced them to keep moving in deeper to flee the rising flood waters.
The punishment and consequences ... well, we won't know for now either. For the most part, the locals including parents of the boys do not blame him, and most agree that he has always done his best for the children and may have been instrumental in keeping the boys relative healthy and sane (can't quite find the sources in the flood of articles) in the nine days prior to their discovery. There will still be people judging his actions from afar and demanding perfect judgement from a 25 year old, but there are a number of mitigating circumstances and a near-consensus (or cherry picking?) among character witnesses that he is a person with a strong sense of responsibility that there is unlikely to be punishment and that, locally, the consequences may not be heavy.

If you are losing hair in patches than it might be time to see a Dr. If you are just talking about losing your hair in the normal spots like the top of your head/crown than it fine, but if you are losing random patches on the side or back that does not appear to be male pattern baldness than you really should get it checked out.
Sudden patchy hair loss can indicate heart problems, thyroid issues, or other severe illnesses
According to Alexa, just under half (48%) of the visitors to Reddit are American.
Of course there will be many US-centric posts, just as there are CountryX-centric posts for many countries. No problem. But this is a post about a law change in Germany. It's uplifting news for everyone, regardless of where they come from. There was absolutely no need to specify 'Americans' in the title, and comes across to me (and apparently others judging from my upvotes) as written by a person with a strongly US-centric view of the world. It's just inappropriate here, frankly.
By the way, you can use RES flair for what you're suggesting. I do so in a few subs.

I feel snooty saying this, but like you said the hardest part is obtaining the potassium iodide and even that you can buy on Amazon.
I educated myself about personal finance when I was in High School by reading Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover and listening to his CDs and podcasts while painting houses (summer job). I searched for an in-state college that was a good "bang-for-the-buck" and found a smaller engineering school. Since my grades were good in HS and I spent a lot of my spare time applying for scholarships my Senior year, I ended up with around $6000/year in scholarships. I learned everything about financial aid such as requirements, FAFSA, grants vs. loans, Pell vs. private loans, where do scholarships get posted, etc. I lived cheaply but comfortably (didn't buy a Wii or Xbox 360 when they came out) in college and graduated with $13,000 in student loans. As an engineer, my starting salary was $87,000 and I received a $20,000 signing bonus. After taking the summer off to volunteer at a camp for kids who have parents in prison I started work in September. Within 6 months my loans were paid off and I bought a 4 year old Corolla with cash.
All this to say, low-debt college possible. Public schools do a very poor job of teaching personal finance. But everybody has known that for decades. So if you're a 15-year-old reading this: take responsibility of your own future, control their destiny, and make an effort to learn independently. You can see from all of the other comments that the educational system - High School and college - is not gamed in your favor, so the burden is on you. You can't claim ignorance anymore. So take the initiative.
I think you mean Birth of a Nation, the (1915, DW Griffith) film - the one about the modern birth of the KKK, race-relations, gives some valuable historical context of nationalist thinking in the US. The cinematography stuff - true, it broke new ground in film. The Wealth of Nations, (Adam Smith, 1776) is a fairly encyclopedic work on the philosophical and political underpinnings of national economies, with a distinct skew to the capitalism train. Boring and verbose.
Anyway, I'm not condemning anyone ever for expressing their opinions. More often, more loudly, is my feeling on that. I'm just not sure that using consumer privilege - "their job is to cater to me as a client" - is so different than other forms of censorship. And I don't know how I would have reacted hypothetically - say, as an employee. Half-price Books is a corporation, and I would likely have to behaved in a way to maintain my employment, regardless of my personal sentiment.
If I'd been standing around as a customer, I absolutely would have said something. Praising a young bookstore patron for being discerning and pointing out an issue with a book - absolutely. That's exactly what bookstores and libraries are for. Discussion and a liberal flow and dispersal of ideas. All ideas, not just the ones you, me or Adam - happen to agree with.
My stance is - we disagree by learning, arguing, or even protesting. Yell, scream, write a song, or make a picture. Disagreement is not the only thing that stops when we decide to accomplish things by shutting down the flow of ideas. I've worked through those ideas with elementary school kids, and they get it. The ALA. org has materials to help teachers explain it, what censorship means and how it isn't always obvious.
One of the original reasons to ban marijuana back in the 30s-40s. People feared for the virtues of the helpless white womens who might get a little horny while smoking the reefer around mixed company.

Speed and booze though, those were perfectly fine, nothing kinky or weird ever happened from people abusing those two things. :D And if the roomie wonders why me and his mom defiled his couch, I'd have just claimed it was all the reefer smoke left behind. lol! Nothing to do with chasing ephedra tabs with MGD, never that!
Chasing Coral is a decent but depressing documentary about coral bleaching and death.
Edit: I see it’s already been mentioned, but I’ll leave my comment with link.
>While we do not believe that one company can mandate harmony among all people, we do believe that the Airbnb community can promote empathy and understanding across all cultures. We are all committed to doing everything we can to help eliminate all forms of unlawful bias, discrimination, and intolerance from our platform. We want to promote a culture within the Airbnb community—hosts, guests and people just considering whether to use our platform—that goes above and beyond mere compliance. To that end, all of us, Airbnb employees, hosts and guests alike, agree to read and act in accordance with the following policy to strengthen our community and realize our mission of ensuring that everyone can belong, and feels welcome, anywhere.
You've completely lost me here. My point is it is disingenuous to say that an oppressed people are the architects of their oppression. And imply that anyone who fights against it secretly loves their oppressors.
Because...animals? Yet many animals are matriarchal. It's in our DNA from our ancestors? Yet studies show that our prehistoric ancestors' societies were quite equal. Women did much of the hunting and men did much of the gathering. This allowed for easy blending of new people and having unattached member move to other groups easily without power voids and it helps increase genetic diversity.
We have goddess worship, Mother Nature, Columbia the symbol of the United States, Lady Liberty, and Blind Justice. So Patriarchal worship is not our default.
We didn't start seeing patriarchal societies until after agriculture, when food and wealth could be gained and hoarded. Now small groups of people could obtain power over others. Hierarchies, usually with the top families sticking together. would decide on what the rest of the community would do, and they would control the excess harvest.
Really, greed created patriarchy, men have definitely kept it alive and using it to their advantage. And some women absolutely support it. And some men don't and don't want such discrepancies in their community. Many people of all genders understand that it should be the best person to lead, not what sex or class or race you are.
Post-traumatic stress should really be called post-traumatic brain injury.
PTSD damages the brain the same way filling your gas tank with water damages your car's engine. It poisons areas of the brain with stress hormones, causing scarring, or brain lesions. It's a physical injury, a traumatic brain injury or TBI.
This is why PTSD is a neurological illness rather than a psychological illness (also why autism is a neurological rather than psychological illness), because there is concrete evidence of brain disease (whereas psychology is based on anecdotal evidence, but... that's not really relevant, just felt like sticking that point in there ;).

> Traumatic stress: effects on the brain
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3181836/
It could be described as stress hormones frying parts of your brain.
There is also evidence that the injury may not be permanent and can be repaired with treatment, so it doesn't have to be a lifelong illness. There is hope for those suffering from PTSD.
Really interesting discussion on this over at Hacker News https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=8979886
The top comment is from a Croat: Hi, croat here. Just one detail, this year there will be elections in Croatia and current gov didn't do anything useful for our economy, so this is kind of popular measure. Don't get me wrong, it's always nice to help, but situation is little bit complicated, taxes are very high and in some way this is not fair to people that are paying everything. Also, there are huge number of people living and exploiting social measures, so ... In this context it's impossible to help those who really need help. You know what is the saddest part? Opposition party (conservatives that ruled from 2007-2011) is convicted for criminality and they are atm most popular, so for common and independent people there is no light at the end of the tunnel. If someone can solve this chaos he/she will be candidate for Nobel's price. P.S. Sorry on bad english

>It’s one of many musical pieces written by a bot called Emily Howell. “She” can write an infinite amount of new music all day for free, and a blind test showed that people couldn’t tell the difference between her work and the work of human composers.
the brain is just a chemical computer. so one day we will be able to make an exact working replica if we really wanted, so every job cn easily and eventually wil be replaced by a robot.
this is assuming we do not enter some kind of dark age.
>I am getting it, you look at shows and you go "this is straight, this is straight, this is straight"
No, you're not getting it. That's not what I'm saying at all. I'm saying we all--you, me, everyone who watches TV --knows the sexuality of every character on TV, whether we consciously recognize it or not. There is no "characters not identified by their sexuality" on TV as you claimed.
>No, that's you making assumptions, again: What about the characters that you don't see with someone else?
>Like I said, you're looking at TV shows for the character's sexuality,
You keep saying this, even though I've explained several times why you're mistaken. This is the most damning evidence that you really have no idea what you're talking about.
PiHole is fantastic and I recommend everyone look into it.
Set up takes an hour or two for a complete novice and if you don't want to mess with virtual machines you can get a Raspberry Pi unit for $30-40 USD with all the accessories and a nice little case included easily.
This link will indirectly answer your question.
http://www.indeed.com/salary/q-Professional-l-United-States.html
It gives the national average salary for PROFESSIONAL jobs in the U.S. This would weed out the affect of the service type jobs that require little to no education or professional certifications and would be a good comparison in kind to a teachers position. The link states the average is 59k a year nationally. This is not much more than what teachers average pay is which is stated as 56k annually. Taking into consideration that other professionals will be working more hours on average, the compensation per hour worked tilts in favor of teachers average pay on a national basis.
Here is another link that breaks down the national income average into segments to better visualize how it's distributed.

Technically correct although the Canadian government had initially stated its intent to implement by July 2018, provinces and territories, who will be responsible for drafting their own rules for marijuana sales, have advised that they would need eight to 12 weeks after the Senate approval to transition to the new framework.
The government is expected to choose a date in early or mid September.
You obviously have no idea what you are talking about. Medicaid is specifically for low income individuals that have not yet reached retirement age. In addition, low income individuals, if they make too much to qualify for medicaid in most states will qualify for free or nearly free health care through regular insurance companies, paid for by the government.
I have a speculation on what motivated the mum's actions: Munchhausen Syndrome by Proxy (MSBP)
No one who isn't mental would see their child in pain and immediately think of publically virtue signalling on the internet, but....racist mum = mental mum. If not Munchhausen, then some serious histrionic personality disorder or backhanded narcissism.
If this is a regularly occurring theme in this kid's life(familial "beliefs" directly contributing to child's injuries), there might be a case for CPS to intervene.
>the same way the rest of the world pronounces
That made me laugh. You might want to rethink that sentence.
Any way, I agree that because I have a kiwi accent I probably can't hear it for myself, but I have had other accents in my childhood. Once upon a time I saw both the kiwi and aussie accent from a third perspective.
Here is an audio recording I just did with me saying 'Six, sex, six, sixty six, not sex, six." Then I chucked a quick 'aussie six' in the end, it's a bit characterised, but it shows the difference.
Grrr, I got: "Sorry 'about that? This video is not available from my location."(Canada) -- Good news, buddy! I found a link to another copy of the video, https://ipfs.io/ipfs/QmTwe5V4FhgWQ1TkJF3ETMd68qqDKxm8qw57GJAuGM9e3b
Not as uplifting as I thought it would be... > Eventually, descendants of Matalamaki returned to the home and asked Heart to return the medal to the war hero’s family.
This lady's been golluming that thing for years and the family finally asked for it back.
Basically, a bunch of people pick random (but accessible!) places in the wilderness across the globe to hide random "caches", or containers, of pretty much anything. They'll post the GPS coordinates of the location to this site, and others will pick a location they want to go to and go and try to find the cache. Once they return from their search, they'll share stories of how they did or did not find the cache.
Your only profit is the pay cut you get from the driver.
Your expenses are running servers running the matchmaker across the country (it'll take more than putting Bob's desktop in a closet to do that across several countries), paying your actual employees (and before you say that they aren't paying them enough - increasing pay by +1$/hour on average is 1800$ annually - and multiply that per employee) and legal expenses
Don't be upset you're argument is not sound based on your own behavior. Again would you like a book on logic so you can learn how to use it? I couldn't find the text I learned from but this seems good enough for you. I just think you should at least have a decent argument if you're going to take such a selfish and detrimental stance to society
Yea I just got the https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08DQR5Q64/ it's cheaper on here sadly. They should offer free shipping on their site instead of giving 30% or whatever to amazon. Bad budgeting.
Seems reviews are sorta "meh" novamin seems to work better and the biomin F. Tbh from the studies it seems all of them make fluoride work better than it normally does so not sure why it's fluoride free. Might mix it with my other stuff.
I recommend a good book (especially from No Starch Press) such as this one:
https://www.amazon.com/Python-Crash-Course-Eric-Matthes-ebook/dp/B07J4521M3
Personally, I've never been able to stick with MOOCs or code camps, and for my learning style they never really explain the concepts in enough depth.
Sorry forgot to paste this. This is the cheap modem that supports phone, which is only to meet Comcast’s requirement to have one on the account for triple play, but you’ll never use it unless you actually want to use a LAN line:
Arris Touchstone TM822G DOCSIS 3.0 8x4 Ultra-High Speed Telephony Modem https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00721TUNS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_0013Fb0CGS8YK?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
It's not really that much cheaper.
that's quite far from a 3-6x cheaper claim from the article... It's much closer to 15% -20% cheaper
And that's just some of the first things I found on Amazon... I don't think there are any 3floz bottles of Oxybenzone based sunscreen floating around at $2-$3
Sonicare is the best, even better than Oral B. I spent way too many hours looking at the specs and reading reviews and learned that. I have the Sonicare FlexCare Platinum and that's the best one available. It comes in connected version (Amazon link) (meaning it has an app that it works with) or regular version (Amazon link). It's worth it.
tea naturally has theanine and caffeine. it has a mild calming effect on it's own. when you have it with caffeine, it takes the jitters away. for me, it allows me to have coffee in the morning, and get to sleep at night as if i didnt have coffee that day.
you can easily buy it in powder form from amazon. you should use 2 parts theanine, to 1 part caffeine. so if 1 cup of coffee has 100mg of caffeine, have 200mg of theanine. it's like 1/8th of a tsp.
i've been able to buy a kilo of it every 4 years. just starting my 2nd bag. it has a very slight berry flavor on it's own. you can easily mix it into water. just drop it in, and in like 10 minutes it will have dissolved into the water. i dont worry about clumping or improper mixing. if i'm in a hurry, i'll just dump the powder in my mouth.
for me, the caffeine affect at night is "well it's 1am and i'm wide awake......shoot, i had coffee today".
