Bonus, it’s smell proof, water proof, has a lock and key to keep the kids out, and the egg crate lining is made of silicone so it all wipes down clean. It can hold 7g worth of the small jars, plus at least 5g of shatter if you keep it in the envelopes up in the silicone webbing part in the lid. I also keep a small silicone mat up there in the lid too.
Here’s a shot of it when it’s in use, it even holds the bubbler upright when filled with water and has a little spot for my dab tool to stand upright in so it doesn’t get linty.
Edit: link for those who want one, it’s cheaper from seahorse’s website but I was willing to pay a little extra for the fast free prime shipping.
Yes, I use lock picks. I bought a pack with a transparent lock to learn to pick locks as a new hobby but then I discovered they are a perfect tool to vape. Multiple shapes for different uses. Different curvatures, different thicknesses, ... Makes it easier to clean my Pax, make it easier to grab the run out from the sides of my coils, makes it easy to load, dab, clean, ... lock picks are a vaper's best friend!
The code is from a project I'm working on right now on my spare time, written mainly in NodeJS. It's a trading algorithm editor, to make it faster to prototype new algorithms without having to actually write code. Then in a few clicks you can send the output to AWS where the data is analyzed, and a machine learning model is built, so that your algo can come to life and trade by itself. http://recordit.co/f67lE6r9m5
I bought this set from Amazon. I gave one to all of my friends, and I have three I love. I bet there is one you could use. For the price of a standard dab tool, you can get this entire set.
Not to hijack your thread, but I have these guys which I love
I use one like this and it's really nice to wet a qtip really quick, and any excess just drains back into the jar
Amazon link for the stand in the picture. Super sturdy stand that doesn't wobble and has super grippy rubber on the bottom. Can't believe I didn't think of this sooner, I kind of like it more than my cable when I'm just sitting at my desk cause I always worry about my cable kinking or putting stress on the wiring.
Set this up so I can medicate in the house. Florida is hot and thick with misquotes and I have a wife an 2 kids - one of my best investments love it!) . I cut a hole in a piece of plywood that I cut to fit the window sill and put a 8 in. In-Line Duct Booster Fan through it. Can't find where I origanlly bought the fan but here is some on amazon (not shilling for amazon). The extinctions I bought at homedepot. It was funny when i bought the fan it came with instructions that if the box was opened and damage to send a request for another one that the DEA sometimes opens them do to the products potential use. I assume I had bought it from a indoor grow supply store and didn't realize it - ebay.
I love the Jetstream so much I bought a second one last week for messing around with builds so I can keep my main one on a build I like!
I've bought like 50ft of different kanthal and ss316 and ni200 wire it's amazing! I barely use my DTV4 simply because I'm always building new coils and tearing down old ones lol. It's a fun hobby!
You can get one for ~$19: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LA6Y81A/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Note that this version, it takes a while for the batteries to charge (around 4 hrs). I know because I have this one. Still works great, and can be used to recharge nearly any type of rechargable battery. So, it's good to have as a utility item around the house anyway.
Here's a link to the alcohol bath thing. It's like a barber comb sanatizer thing the bottom lifts out with the lid like you guessed.
Not much forethought went into this dab station. The things that work stay, the things that don't, go. My favorite part is the air intake for my grow tent acting as a vaccume to suck up all my dab vapor.
Going to be updating with the AVS E-nail Base as soon as it gets here.
They sell these shitty little glass pipe cutters on Amazon - here's one:
Listen dude, all it takes is the will to do it, a little mechanical dexterity, and some coil building experience (which you get as you go along). Oh and some tools and supplies.
It's not that hard - if you fail you waste some wire and time, no biggie - I've had a lot more failures than successes - but I'm pretty happy with my current best.
Listen, there are lots of basic building videos on YouTube - and lots of people here you can ask for pointers. =)
Atomizer (pictured above) with mod kit. . This is all you need to get started initially.
Add this. Simple sidecar bubbler.
You will still need a carb cap but otherwise you are good to go.
Those are the THClear vape pens (best that I have tried in that category). Here are the cartridges.
Hercules SR-74 from UP Tech puts out denser, more flavorful vaporizer than any other oil vape I've come across. https://instagram.com/p/yQGnSVIUK5/?modal=true
Ceramic heating rod for powerful even vaporization. User serviceable and rebuildable; I've put over 2oz of oil through mine over the last 12 months.
I put a gram in an empty clean ejuice bottle and put it on a candle warmer to let it melt, then when it starts to I put in .5mls of holyterp "pure" and put it back on for up to 2 hours until they fully melt together stirring occasionally. Sometimes even longer, mainly because I do bigger batches with up to 14 grams so it can take hours to melt together.
I use this warmer
No idea how well it works. But it has always looked interesting.
ah yes i forgot about the puffco. yes you need to get whats called a 510 to ego adapter.
back in ye olden times of vaping "ego" threads were the norm for pen batteries and if you wanted to interchange and put an ego atty on a 510 mod you needed one of these. Probably dont need 5 but they're cheap.
that goes into the puffco atty and then it can go on a standard 510 mod. Just dont go too high on wattage. Your local vape shop should still have a box of them collecting dust somewhere.
You should really get a lab jack for resting your mod on, or you can get a 510 extension cable here for $25.99.

I wish that I could find any available stock for these 7" 'scorch torch' butane cooking torches but they sell out instantly when they show up.
The price is usually $16-$25, they have a massive barrel and huge flame, and the last two that I bought have a really nice tight fill port, with zero leaking.
Perhaps you can find a seller with stock: https://www.amazon.com/AMRIU-GF-877-Butane-Lighter-Silver/dp/B07R537TZH
LOOK! A wax carving travel kit, for when you really need to carve the baby Jesus out of a candle on the go
oh nice, who's selling a sub $15 extension cord now? I made my own but the prices I saw people selling them for were pretty high a few months back.
Iso or iso+water+ salt. put it in a big bowl, maybe cover it with a loose lid and put it in the microwave. Start at a medium temp and just maybe 15 sec. Increase both step by step until its clean. Make sure to place the tube in the microwave that splashing water (when boiling) is not randomly hitting the microwave everywhere.
On the german market there also is the amazing product "schmand weg". A cleaner especially for bongs, bubblers and so on...that's what people always recommend around here. Idk if something similar is produced in the US.
Idk, I rocked a very, very similar setup for a while and really loved it, but if I was gonna do it all over again it might have been interesting to get the Quartz Quest with the Orbit bubbler. The orbit bubbler is an open banger style bubbler which lends to hot loading your dabs which is a little different than using the Hubble Bubble with V4 top cap. If I could get the right carb cap for the orbit on a tether? That would be the ultimate budget setup, imo, but then again the V4 with M22 bubbler is not bad... Can you tell I like open banger bubblers? YMMV.
Amazon sells small pelican cases with cut-to-fit foam. They're water-tight, you can lock them, and they're really solid. Biggest downside is they're a tad on the bulky side, but if you're like me and plan to pretty much just keep the case in your car it's the perfect option.
https://www.amazon.com/Pelican-1150-000-110-Small-Camera-Black/dp/B000N9PQEI
I recommend anyone who uses a lot of concentrates look into getting an Ultrasonic Cleaner for cleaning. I got a cheap one on Amazon that works well. I fill it with near boiling water and drop a ziplock baggy with ISO and dirty coils in and cycle it a few times. Coils come out pretty clean without any scrubbing. If there's built up carbon on the coils, it doesn't get it all off but certainly works better than hot ISO bath alone.
A friend of mine recently got one from eBay that has a heater and settable timers and does a much better job than the one I have
I keep the reclaim as well, just evap the 99% alcohol. Probably has more junk in it vs everclear, never really looked. If you want something easier than a hair dryer pick up a heat gun off amazon for like $20. Usually has a neat little heat direction shield with it. I use mine for shrinkwrap, battery wraps (same thing just with graphics), melting glue off stuff, warming up my coffee cup, pretty much anything and much more efficient than the hair dryer. :)
After scouring Amazon for a good every day carry system that could hold either the v3 or Sai and a small dab container, I finally found the perfect combo.
Case: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MD1KDJG/ref=twister_B01M6C0YLH?_encoding=UTF8&th=1&psc=1
2 ml container (the clear ones I ordered are out of stock): https://www.amazon.com/Gentcy-Nonstick-Silicone-Container-Concentrate/dp/B01DRQH2PE/ref=sr_1_23?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1495211481&sr=1-23&keywords=2ml+food+grade+silicone
As you can see from the pics, you need only 1 and a half of the containers (1 whole, 1 extra top) to make this work. Turning one of the caps inside out and putting it at the bottom of the case makes it so there is no negative space, and the dab container acts to absorb some shock.
Air/Water/Smell tight. As compact as it can possibly be. Just waiting for my TiSai!
I use this Dental Pick Set from Amazon to load portables. Works very well, variety of tips for different consistencies.
I see you found one. But for anyone else, I really like these EDC zipper pouches. The exact one I use is no longer on amazon but they are all the same really.
I gotchu: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0142G8ONC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1
There's a 10% off coupon you can apply by checking a little box. I just bought this based on the amazon reviews so other models with good reviews would probably work just as well. Makes cleaning my coils much easier!
hate to say it, as you are think another thing... but get the external charger, the usb circuitry is not robust enough in many folks eyes. they are easy to snag on amazon, and worth the piece of mind that the battery will stop being charged when it reaches optimal capacity.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K88LH88/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
For batteries: https://liionwholesale.com you want at least 20A rated. I use Samsung’s but Sony’s have higher capacity for a bit more, they’ll just last longer.
Any decent dual charger that supports 18650 lithium’s will suffice but I use this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N4NS31O/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Thanks! I saved the post too. Very helpful. I think I found the same rings as #2 with faster shipping and free Prime shipping
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YJRWWQG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Edit: Seems like the seller randomly changes, but I was able to get them with Prime delivered by Aug 9 somehow.
I use this and it works great. After looking for the link I seen they were cheaper than I originally bought it for- so I just ordered another. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QYB2BCQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fab_JOMCFbX33D41A
I’m super clumsy and I keep breaking my glass because I bump my rig and knock it over. I got some sticky gel pads from Amazon and a cool tray. Now my stuff won’t tip! It’ll take a big hit to knock the whole thing over and break my pieces.
Mines black and came with a nail but this is the closest to mine I could find on Amazon still.
I hear you. My landlord has a zero tolerance policy and they have enforced it. My neighbors would narc me off in a second.
If you have to, Ozium, some form of smoke buddy and a good 'ole towel will keep a roof over your head, guaranteed. I'm pretty homebound, smoke rosin all day long in the midst of really straight people without the use of above, and nobody's ever said a word. Couldn't do that with buds. Good luck.
p.s. I've only used ozium when closet growing and only when leaving the apartment. Scent too strong.
ultrasonic cleaner Got one from Amazon. Wondering the same. I thought I read the V5 heater could go in, but how about the whole Core heater assy? And, from my trials, these cleaners work wonders on old glass bowls from burnt on crud. Not so much on anything sticky or gooey.
For the brush, use these pipe cleaners...

Dip them in rubbing alcohol, slowly and evenly push it through, then occasionally stop pushing it through and give it a good twist before proceeding. You may bend a few before you get all the way through, but its a 200 pack. And now I finally have my seahorse back in action!

One of the companies happened to email be about these a few weeks ago, so I figured I'd share the link for anyone who doesn't mind the longer shipping times.
They are 350mAh & 3.7v btw (also shown on the ebay link)
I meant just make sure you use the v4 top and you can use it with either the v4 or v5 like I am. Here is the dab tool: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083SCLSHY/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_C6P9RQ89WKM1QDNHSBQR?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
FYI you can buy spacers online. These -> https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B091TVDW4L/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Work with most 510 boxes. They're basically a 510 -> 510 adapter, but they add room for air intake without having to tighten/loosen the cart.
yeah, you could probably get something like that to work. I use this spool on the divine tribe jet stream rda and have really enjoyed it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DLWPS9V/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_EBZXC990HECMQBVV1DC3 I wrap my own coils out of it, and I use an aegis legend 2.
p.s. here's a thread with a ton of coil building inspo: https://fuckcombustion.com/threads/advanced-e-cig-users-and-oil-wax-how-to-one-hitter-quitter.10360/page-70
So these 2 together are all I need to buy to have a valid setup?

Just wanna be sure.
There is no way to power the Hercules with something smaller. We recommend 2x AW IMR 18350s stacked to run in series for 7.4V power, or a single 18650 for 3.7V. We always recommend AW but customers have had success with other high end, high quality IMR chemistry batteries.
I have personally tried running my Hercules on an AW14500 in my Omicron and also with 2x14250s for 7.4. Not a chance, not enough power in these smaller batteries to do anything to power the ceramic heating rod in the Hercules.
The 10cig is an awesomely small discreet unit but it has no where near 1/20th the performance of the Hercules. The Persei+Hercules is not very big. I take mine with my Nibbler XL bubbler attached with me everywhere... https://instagram.com/p/yQGnSVIUK5/?modal=true
Even deep into the woods...
Yup, I just use these from amazon just find the right size and it should work.
Yeah, I use those: Vapcell 3.7v 1100mah Flat Top 18350 9A Discharge high Drain Li-on IMR Rechargeable Lithium Battery 2pcs https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07QDDS64F/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_P45XH86V6GJQJWYKZGSZ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Hard yo say how many dabs. I usually vape couple of nights per week. With my usage I only charge them once per month.
Oh thanks! This cleared things up a lot actually, as I was confused by some of the higher priced product's claims compared to the cheaper ones. I settled with one of these: http://www.gearbest.com/electronic-cigarettes/pp_147102.html
It was cheap so I figured it'll give me an idea of what it's like before I decide if I want to dive further.
Thanks again!
Unfortunately "official" sources do seem to be sparse. I did email Yocan to ask for an MSDS sheet as well as their FC, ROHS and CE certificates that they kinda display here, a ways down the page.
I'll update this post if I get a response.
As far as why not Ti, I can only assume price? Ti is also very brittle, and perhaps even more brittle than this alloy when in a film this thin. Perhaps their manufacturing tooling can't handle Ti? These coils are already fairly pricey, perhaps it was a cost based decision?
I would feel more comfortable with Ti, but again, I have had no reason to suspect what they're using is hazardous. Fragile as all hell, yes!
For me I think my dtv5 is as portable as it gets unless I go to carts. I don't know if this device has any sort of concentrate storage, but my dtv5 has a storage container that can probably hold a gram of wax, maybe a bit less. That means the only other thing I need is my dab tool, which just sits on my keychain. I use a single cell box mod which on a full charge can last at the very least three days of decently heavy use, and one or two clean cycles, so when I'm using it by myself I don't need an extra battery, and while I've brought an extra just in case, I haven't ever actually needed to swap a battery even when using with friends.
I definitely get that the size or form factor can be important to some, but for me if I need something actually discreet I bring a cart.
The Regen is dope. I actually like the tri quartz coils too, though I never go above the first temp setting with that. The nice thing about the tri quartz is it can hold like 3x as much distillate as the ceramic coils without getting gunky. The ceramic has the best flavor by far though.
Pro tip: get silicone barrels like these here for cleaning your coils, you can throw a coil and cap inside one, fill it with isopropyl and soak it over night, as long as you have multiple coils to rotate between, cleaning is a non issue.
Also, I use one of the barrels as a stand for my Regen and it works extremely well.

Would something like this work?
Anything else I should buy on top of it?
I'm sorry for the image not appearing in-line for you to see. Do you have Reddit Enhancement Suite installed? https://redditenhancementsuite.com/
Does http://i.imgur.com/psUd6Zzm.jpg work any better for you? This picture shows a coil that has had the center pin adjusted downwards to restore connectivity as explained above, so you can see the pin is protruding further down than yours.
Nothing will "protrude" until you make the adjustment to make it protrude, so pull that pin down and give it a shot!
That would depend on the OS and would fall in the basic technical skill category, google is very good at answering very basic technical questions, or even youtube.
If your on Windows the tool I use is 7-zip, there is millions of them don't care what you use but this is my favorite. https://www.7-zip.org/download.html
if your on a 64bit machine (less than 6 years or so old) here is the latest 64bit exe installer as of right now. (since that page has a lot of links) https://www.7-zip.org/a/7z1806-x64.exe

Not really reddit savvy but, it started off being a 3 star review with just the first part before I put “to answer the response”. I didn’t add the second part until he tried lying about the dates I purchased the items. Not really sure how to post a picture of his response to my review. In my opinion if I asked for a $5 refund for the shipping issue it would of gotten declined and I was kinda embarrassed to ask for $5 I just decided to rate it 3 stars.
I use This to clean everything. It's reusable and works best heated up in the mic for a few seconds.
Dtv4 + pico + stash cap is the most ideal portable setup. Bonus points for keeping a little kit that has your device, dab tool, screwdriver, Nd qtips in. But yea I use an old beats solo case Nd it goes everywhere w me. No joke. Literally everywhere. Also look into getting this Nd adding it to your car key keychain. It’s my portable dab tool I always have w me nd is great for when I can’t bring my whole kit which has my actual dabber in it. Hope this helps tho also one more thing it’s hard to find a pico with micro usb nowadays so beware of the usb-c ones as Arctic fox doesn’t work on those. The owner of divine tribe is talking to eleaf about making a new pico with auto fire built in removing the need for Arctic fox tho so look out for that. I sure know I will!!
Wanted to comment on your video but I got stoned and distracted. I have a keychain dab tool that has it's own cap and all so it stays clean. here is a link. I know amazon not the best place to pick stuff up, but it at least can give you an idea of something that may help your "on the go" setup.
PS I am pro pico stash cap and dtv 4 all the way
I get one of those temp reading lazer pointer gun things:
As others have said, iso is king. However, for most uses I find that alcohol pads/swabs are even easier for a quick clean. I order them a few hundred at a time and they last me months.
I prefer these thick pads to the thinner kind that is folded in half, as I feel like they contain more iso for the surface area, if I need to squeeze out a bit of the liquid into a keyboard switch (never drinking margs at my desk again) for example then it works great.
Here's replacement foam too if you mess up, change your mind, or get new equipment.
Found it!

Get one of these. Just need to remove the o-ring in part of the cap that receives the mouth piece. Use a lil oil on the cap and rings of the drip tip. Can get much larger rips with this thing as well for some reason.

You can toss the included PAX adapter, of course :P similar pieces can be found elsewhere, just search for '14mm hydrotube'.
Term is drip tip. The V4 is 510 size, the M22 is 810. Links to each below.

Get this board, its much easier to solder on, and you should try and get a donor cable that has thicker wires than the one I used, they were like 34g or similar and very hard to solder. Recommendation for the wires going to the 510 is to have a high wattage iron. Those metal parts making up the connector soak up a lot of heat. What I did was apply a little more solder to the joint while removing it so the heat conduction from the iron would be better. Both can be a pain but dont require high skill level.
Fyi, they make small ones. This way you don't need the ziploc bags. The ziploc bags break over time, sometimes after only a single use. You will be buying ziploc bags for your cleaning purposes most likely, or scrounging for tiny ziploc bags from random online orders. The bigger the bag the more isopropyl you waste, so you need tiny bags. This small ultrasonic cleaner can be filled with iso directly so no bag is needed, just drop dirty items into ultrasonic bath with warm/hot iso and let the vibrations work the sludge off.
This is exactly what I do. I bought an ultrasonic cleaner very similar to yours and use the exact same method for cleaning my stuff, ziploc with iso, then hot water bath in the ultrasonic cleaner.
FYI. I've been meaning to fork over the money for one of these, but just can't push myself to buy ANOTHER ultrasonic cleaner, but they make small ones. This is the size for dentures. Idk about you, but all my tiny ziploc bags break and leak iso after about one use (shitty bags...). This denture cleaner is small enough you can fill the ultrasonic bath with iso directly and not worry much about waste. Still more iso than a ziploc bag, probably, might still be too much iso come to think of it, I guess depends on its actual size, but if it's small enough it could be super clutch, imho... Heat some iso in the microwave, dump boiling iso into ultrasonic bath, dump vape items into iso bath, turn ultrasonics on and done.
I've been using this one for the last two years

I put whatever I need to clean in a small ziploc bag with iso then fill the chamber with hot water and let it do its work.
Yeah I suggest getting a nice magnetic precision screwdriver to use, they come in sets you can get pretty inexpensively on Amazon. I use one out of this set: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07552XJJX/
I have these little silicone stoppers that I use for hubble bubble and my rig to keep water from spilling out. Sorry. Must have goofed when I made it. Apologies
This guy has been sitting in my cart for a little while but I opted for a mouthpiece bubbler instead. Not sure if it’s the same one but it should fit without the o rings
I the look and feel of glass best, but I'm clumsy, so I need to protect my glass gear.
Found the greatest sleeve for my Hubble Bubble via a comment made by u/TheMuffinMan19 here on Reddit.
Here is the Amazon link for purchase.
or stock up a wee bit and get it for 37% cheaper
actually technically even cheaper than that since my link is 99% and yours is only 91. I usually re-bottle my 99% into 75% for cleaning, just bought a 12 pack myself and I see it lasting for quite a while.
Someone said in another post that it was the light brown o rings. I found that these fit like the recommended o rings. I tested several similar sizes over the last week and matched them to the different o rings I've received.
They call this one the Spaceship
Look at the wild coil in that thing.

I just bought this with a sticky back. I’m going to cut it in half and use the bottom half https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CWSSN27/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_i_4La-Fb4TK2TK7. It should fit a dab tool and couple Q tips.

this could help they have recently increased the price but it definitely helps when you know you have questionable willpower. It should also be mentioned that you can break into it with just a flathead screwdriver and some motivation. They sell replacement bottoms too.
This is what I use, but currently out of stock. You can probably find it elsewhere. Don't give up on that QQ. One of the best atomizers I've ever used.
These o-rings aren't a perfect fit for the M22, but they're close enough and they provide a stronger o-ring seal with your BB. I was gonna use them, but it made my bubbler too tight. It might be right for the ZC banger? If you want I can check for you.
If you do decide to go for a support I suggest getting a lab jack.
This is the one that I use with my setup. It works well and is about the perfect size. Just a suggestion.
