I have no issues using my DS4.
Make sure you're using the Ryochan7 version of DS4Windows and not the jays2kings version - that's the old one and hasn't been maintained in years.
Also, check this setting.
There is an updated fork of DS4Windows that is more feature-rich than the one in the link you provided: https://github.com/Ryochan7/DS4Windows
And Switch Pro support can be provided using BetterJoy: https://github.com/Davidobot/BetterJoy
I found this on Amazon but only could find 3 months.
You and I are in the exact same boat here. The issue I first had to tackle was troubleshooting whether it was my firewall (Comodo), antivirus (Avast) or VPN (NordVPN) which was making it impossible for me to use ANY windows apps in online mode. I found that removing both the firewall and AV did the trick.

Now I'm able to install and play a few games. Wargroove, Halo Wars, Astroneer, Timespinner, Tacoma, Shadow of War, SoD2 and Ruiner.

However, Tides of Numenera, Void Bastards, Nightcall and Metro Exodus, the real stars of PC Game Pass always hop to straight to the dreaded "ERROR 0%" without the ability to click the arrow to try and reinstall.

I've seen that all the unavailable games are in the "requires administrator privileges" category below the PEGI-symbol with the age rating. I have yet to find any solution to this one, but I've upvoted for visiblity. I'm close to just giving up but I figured I'd respond with the info I had at least.
Doesn't look like it's possible https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Five_Nights_at_Freddy%27s_2
I installed it and tried using Borderless Gaming (which I use to full screen Roblox) and it didn't work.
So my impression was right, Endless Space 2 is new even though it's not mentioned anywhere.
Bethesda wrote it will be available in Ultimate and PC and the Microsoft Store. Maybe they're having some problems with the timing
"Please note that, due to technical limitations, you will not be able to transfer your Atom balance or your Fallout 1st membership from your Bethesda.net or Steam version of the game to the Windows 10 Store version. Atoms you earn in-game are also specific to one platform or the other. However, any items you have purchased through the Atomic Shop, or that you’ve claimed through Season progress, will still be available to you on any PC platform."
If I understand correctly progress and items are carried over but not atoms

All game file are stored in the WindowsApps\MSIVXC folder and the Halo file is
>050FBB4D-16E5-42A8-945A-963D007974AA
There's a massive one with no file extension and two small .xvi and .xvs (I think, not at my PC). To delete them you'll need to take ownership of those files. If it doesn't let you (you'll get a message saying files are open in system), reboot into safe mode and you can delete them there.
The link I put there will tell you how to take ownership manually but it also is for an app called Winaero Tweaker. I use that because it's super easy to do two things here - add "take ownership" to the context menu so it only takes two clicks and it can add another context menu for your desktop to right click and reboot to safe mode. If you don't want to use it fair enough.
The only solution is to fix it yourself.
You can find files like logo.png or 150x150.png (these names are not exact) in the game folders (use Everything to find them) then convert them to an ICO. I use this site https://convertico.com/
Or download ready made icons from deviantart, this is what I did for Halo MCC as the default icon sucks.
SOLVED.
For me, it was Reshade, which I didn't even think I still had on my machine. Turns out, it's a hard program to uninstall.
I used this helpful tool and searched "reshade" across my whole PC, and gutted any mention of it from my system. Ran as admin, game launched fine.
lmk if this works. I've been at this all weekend...

You don't really need Steam at all for this actually if you have an nVidia GPU. You can use Geforce Experience on your pc to enable streaming using nVidia GameStream. This is normally for use with the nVidia Shield TV. But, there is an opensource client for the nVidia GameStream protocol that runs on just about anything (even on a Steam Link!): Moonlight.
Installation of Moonlight on the Steam Link is really easy. Download the version for Steam Link, extract the zip file to the root of a USB drive (formatted as FAT32). Make sure your Steam Link is off (not stand by, pull the plug), insert USB drive, boot the Steam Link. It will autodetect the USB drive, and install the Moonlight app. Once it's fully booted, Moonlight should be installed and you can take out the USB drive.
You'll have to manually add the XGP games you want to stream in Geforce Experience though, because the exe-files for the games are in hidden secured folders. Check out this video explaining how you can do that easily.
Another pro tip: you can still grab an Xbox Gold subscription for a year and convert that to Gamepass Ultimate.
For example, buy a 1 year Xbox Gold (Brazil) subscription for around $35, activate it on your account (doesn't have to be in Brazil) and use the upgrade to Gamepass procedure (pay $1).
This way you can save a lot of money. I bought 2 years worth of Gold (Brazil) and activated it on my EU account, which already had the PC subscription. Then I upgraded to Ultimate on the page linked above, and now I have Ultimate until mid 2023.
You might be stuck in an update and it's being wonky, but 2 things to try.
Open
https://www.xbox.com/en-US/live
Login and just make sure you are using the same account, you can even dig around and check your subscriptions and when it expires.

You are probably good on that. Now make sure you have the right Microsoft app on your PC.
I haven't done it in months but at one point there were 2 apps, even 3. Now there is just one, but double check.
Lastly, run all the Windows updates.
There is a windows update that I had to do that made my account start to work. It was required back when they switched it from the companion Xbox app to the Xbox App beta. For some reason there is a windows update needed to make the store and app accounts sync.
