I had a Triumph Tiger once. Worst motorcycle I had. After 1 year and 5000$ more than the price of the motorcycle itself on repair. A really bad choice IMHO and the one of 29% of Triumph costumer : http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/news/2015/04/who-makes-the-most-reliable-motorcycle/index.htm But not as bad that the BMW folks!
On the radiator covers cheapies from Amazon.

I drilled holes in the plastic radiator guard and put waterproof LED strips behind for better visibility from the front as well.
Ah, good question. I've had to do my research on this to get it just right.
The biggest problem was restricting the air. What I did was take a large sheet of aluminum and punch holes in it, I rolled it up, and installed it inside the airpod (it's secured, under the airpod rubber). I kept adjusting the amount of holes punched in the sheet until she fired up perfectly, and runs great without the original airbox. It did take some trial an error.
Edit: Here's a video
Another Edit: After this season, I'm going to try rejetting the carbs to see if I can improve it any further.
Still a beginner when it comes to off-road stuff but I'd really like to get more into it. Trails like these would be what I mostly do...

$12 on Amazon. They work great, you're not looking at your shoulder or elbow all day long, they don't vibrate much, they're easy to install, and cheap as heck.
Be warned, they look good, they work great, but the quality control may be lacking. My bike came with just one of the mirrors on it. I ordered another pair. One of the mirrors I ordered rattled loose because 2 fasteners were not torqued correctly from the factory. I'd fix it, but it's the fasteners inside the mirror.
For $12, these mirrors are amazing. I'd say they're worth $20. They also function as bar end sliders I discovered, now I need to order a new pair.
Here is what I'm using for the rack and for the cargo netting I'm using a cheap one on amazon. The rack has been great so far but I'm not 100 on the netting juuusssst yet
When it's really cold and my cold-weather gloves won't cut it, I put on these (amazon non-affilitate link) over mitts. They're sold for snowmobiles, but they go on and off my Honda VFR in less than 60 seconds. They should go on your CBR just as quickly.
They don't look amazing, but if you have to ride 12 hours in 33 degree rain, these plus heated grips will keep your hands warm and comfortable all day.
I recently bought these, will install during my spring maintenance. Look cool though.

I doubt they understand because until I rode, driving was a method of transportation that facilitated me doing what I needed to an another location. I'm a commuter and on the weekends I ride to places all of the state, to see them, to enjoy the road going there, the sights along the way. I was riding somewhere a few weeks back with a passenger and I passed a little dirt track winding off the road to the right side. I stopped, turned around and rode down the dirt track to see what was there. When was the last time you did that in a car? What we found was an old Civil war era graveyard.
I've seen more of and know more about my state in since I started riding than I learned all my life prior. For waxers it's all about the bike. For riders, it's all about the trip.
Have you been before? I live in the Isaan region and we don't have many lot of twisty roads around me, was lucky to find this route.
You should check out Loie Province, that plus the Mae Hong Son area are the best rides in the country.
You might want to give meetup.com a try. I used it years ago to find local riding groups around Tampa. For those that say 'it's too hot to ride', not really as long as you keep moving! Honestly though, yes it is hot and that is why this time of the year I prefer riding at night or really early in the morning. Early morning is usually the better because night riding has its challenges. In and around town cagers paying worse attention than normal to riders, or out in the country critters, like wild pigs - or even gators trying to stay warm by laying on asphalt at night - make riding 'interesting'.

Apparently not illegal as I was led to believe when there, just very hard to come by and overpriced for the generally poorer populace. In China at least.
Hey another fellow XSR rider! The headlight actually came off of amazon. Link below. It doesnt quite fit into the stock setup and I had to do some "custom" work. I'm not entirely satisfied and I'll probably change out the bucket for a different bucket to get a better fit.

Seems to be having an inventory problem at the moment, likely COVID related. I know motorcycle sales have been through the roof after COVID started because A) one of the few activities you can do while social distanced B) less traffic means easier riding, so it could be a combination of lots of people getting into or back into motorcycling and wanting a cheap entry point and/or factory shut downs where they're made. I hope it's not a sign of problems with the company, HWK makes really high value gear that's just enough to get the job done without being too fancy or over the top and costing double what it needs to. I wouldn't take it to a race track, but for street riding it should be more than enough and way better than any shirt would be.
Neither of them have it.
Here's what I use. Amazon has it marked up hella high right now for some reason, I normally pay $12 a jug at my local shop.

These are the MZS Bar-End Mirrors. My first set of bar-ends, bought them as a proof of concept to see if I liked them instead of dropping the big bucks on CRGs, and have had them for over a year now. They are mounted on the RhinoMoto modified bar-ends, sturdier and reduce vibrations in comparison to the ones that expand within the handlebar.
These come in different colors, I think you should put bright green on your rims to go with your bikes name.

i usually switch from my perforated to these winters around 40 and below and have used them down into the teens. they're not great in the teens and i guess not wonderful in the 30s but do ok for my 30min commute on a naked .
These or another brand?

Go on Ebay or Amazon get some cheap wrap and make it some obnoxious color for when you give it back. Nothing like getting a pink carbon fiber bike back.

It was this one. I got the dark smoke one at first but it was pretty much black and I didn't like that. You can find more pics of it on my instagram.
Found them on Amazon and have found them to be a lot better built than the price might lead you to believe https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CXTMKIQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I really wanted a Skully AR1 for the same purpose but I couldn't justify the $1200 price. Instead I grabbed a handlebar phone mount, a sena bluetooth kit, and this rear camera:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00T2GX37A/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s03?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Everything works great and it cost me under under $300 for everything including the helmet.
Rizoma makes the best I've heard. Hot bodies makes some nice flush mounts for the front aswell. If you end up wanting to go the cheaper eBay/Amazon route I recommend not even trying for LEDs. Cheap <$50 LED turn signals aren't worth the box they come in in the daytime. Mini standard bulb turn signals work well and look good IMO.
They're something close to these. You can find lots of similar ones on Amazon and eBay.
If you already have handguards on your bike, you can just use adhesive LED strips like these and they look awesome. I already had some handguards on my BMW so I added these for cheap.

Here is the Ram Mount, its a cell phone holder. I love the taillight and have no issue distinguishing between on and off. The MD has a feature where the light will blink when braking, which is more attention-grabbing than the stock lights.
I bet it sounds amazing with no DB. Did you re-map your ECU or get an EJK now that you've taken the DB out? Also, have you taken your intake snorkel off yet? If not... you should do that right now lol
> Thanks bud, I really appreciate that! I linked the bag and bars below for you. I really want to get the Carbon Akra for my bike, but I'm waiting to do that until after I upgrade the suspension. Are you rocking your Yoshi w/ or w/o the DB Killer?

I got mine from Amazon, ships from the UK but is only 20 bucks or so.
Really helps and doesnt look bad/weird on the helmet if you mount it right.
I ordered it from Shindy through Amazon. It was the only one I could find that was affordable with a 5/8th bore. All the others were $250+.
