You rascal. You might try basing it off of some fanart instead. I don't think the lens effect from the video will translate well into 3D. Another thing would be the lack of the mouth moving. IMO that's what makes it so funny, the way it moves so dramatically.
Have you tried using a fabric/body adhesive? It's basically like glue, it comes in a roller bottle and you roll it onto the fabric or your skin (where the fabric should lay), and press it on to help it stick. I think that should work wonderfully for your cosplay, especially with this fabric type. Just put it around the edge part of the leg hole, press into place, and you should be good to go!
They have bottles of it on Amazon in case you wanted to take a look at it or read reviews https://www.amazon.com/Bell-Horn-Stays-Roll--Body-Adhesive/dp/B001CUU9KI/ref=sr_1_2_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1471680760&sr=8-2&keywords=fashion+glue There're a bunch of different brands but this one seems to be good, but feel free to look around.
Honestly, I don't really. I don't make a lot of friends at work, but I don't censor things. So i guess I do it a level further than you, I don't make (many) friends at work, so I don't have to worry about whether work people care. :)
All that said, I think I got a picture of you last dragon con. Nice job!
The Facebook group Knights of Ren (kylo ren cosplay) and most of the stormtrooper groups have a lot of info on this. The issue is that putting the mic and speaker in the helmet usually causes feedback.
Amazon has mini speaker amps meant for speaking gigs that can work, but the speaker is meant to go on your belt or chest.
I recently bought this for my kylo helmet, but havent tried it yet. Voice changes are added between the mix and speaker. GooDee Rechargeable Voice... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OINN71E?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
For something like this, you're going to need a much longer pile faux fur than most fabric stores carry. I would suggest something like the furs that this seller carries. They're extremely long pile, and can be styled much like wig fibers can. You can also trim them shorter if needed in certain areas (arms, etc.) using a beard trimmer. Attach said fur to your body suit (and face, probably, given that widow's peak and those chops/beard), et voila.. Monkey King :3
Brandon Gilbert has a pattern; you would buy the digital pattern then commission someone like ZentaiZone to print and sew it. That's the one I know of; I'm sure there are other companies (I think RPCstudio will also print/assemble a suit based on a digital file).
I know a few people that have used this site that has a free downloadable program that they used for making posters. It should work pretty well for making scaled images for props as well though.
I've had good results with Rhino for creating organic-ish designs. Also experimented with Sculptris, it's pretty neat. Kind of like digital clay sculpting. FYI Sculptris is forever free, but Rhino is only free for a 90 day trial, after which it no longer saves or exports in a way that a reinstall doesn't fix.
So I've bought some studs from Amazon--specifically, this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008KOWYZC/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_Mg5rvb0VT8QTG
I haven't tried ironing them on honestly, but I've glued them onto craft foam and ribbon, and they seem to stay on fine. Unfortunately I'm on mobile and at work right now so I'm not able to check whether they've got gold studs, but worst case scenario you can paint over the silver ones.
This is a good idea! Some considerations:
GOOD LUCK!
Thanks! They're these on Amazon.
Oh, you could order some vending machine capsules off eBay or amazon! The 1” ones are approximately the same size as a bouncy ball, so both can fit in the same machine! Plus, you wouldn’t have to cut them in half!
I found this 200 ct (which would give you 400 half-orbs) for $12 - https://www.amazon.com/Vending-Machine-Capsules-200-Pack-Containers/dp/B07K3QY8QV
Right, okay, several options then based on time materials, ect.
Option 1: Super easy but probably the least impressive, Fairy String lights. Wrap those around a little low gauge wire so they keep their shape, plant the base up off the tops of the shoulder / head (to keep them from hitting people) and there you go, you can even bend the support wire in weird ways so it looks less like you're a walking crib mobile. The downsides are of course that you will have visible wires sticking up off you and each light strand will have to be turned on and off individually.
Option 2, and the method I personally would take: Plant star chip 3v leds in your suit various places, again, I recommend higher up but it matters less here. Wire them all together with a simple on off switch. Attach standard fiber optic cable to each LED (not side lit), sometimes you can get more than one strand per light, but it's a little tricky to place them like that. Hot glue a clear plastic or crystal bead. The hotglue should disperse the light from the fiber optic cable though the bead. It'll be heavier so again, you may want to use some support wire, or you can just let them move and sway naturally when you walk. The fiber optic line by itself is transparent , so it'll be less visible but at the cost of being less structurally sound. Plus less cost effective since you'd need the lights, the cable, the batteries, and the switch.
What works great for me are these adhesive ones, and depending on your shape, level of physical activity/ sweating, and how well you're taking care of them, you can wear them for many days! They're also really comfortable as they're silicone.
PS: it just occurred to me, i hope links are allowed, if not, kind Moderator, could only the link be removed?
Basically, I'm taking this guy's gauntlet, swapping out a different reactor design, and attempting to add the EL.
In that gauntlet, the palm repulsor remains unlit until the hand is raised (like you'd be firing on something with it), when it rapidly ramps to 100% until the hand is lowered. What I want to do is add two or three strands of EL wire that hold at about 30-50% when the palm is unlit and ramps to 100% with the palm repulsor.
The research I've done is a bit confusing- I know I can code the Arduino for the palm in like 20 lines, max- but the EL wire seems to be a whole different animal.
This sounds like you're wig might be either too loose, or just too big or too heavy depending on what you're cosplaying (you didn't mention that so I won't know, but ponytail wigs tend to be back heavy, so if you had that, it can easily just fall off backwards). There should be little elastic bands in the back of the neck area of the wig, and some loops that the bands hook into. Adjust those first. They make it fit smaller or larger. If that doesn't work, you may need smaller wigs. If you're already just going to amazon and getting wigs from those Chinese shops on there (basically anywhere that sells cosplay wigs on there is a Chinese mass produced type thing), then the next step is to look for some wig clips. These: https://www.amazon.com/Clips-9-Teeth-Sewing-Extensions-Secure/dp/B09H2T7YJ8/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=3UMZ3RMKVKDNK&keywords=wig+clips&qid=1664220249&sprefix=wig+clip%2Caps%2C155&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&smid=AP2LYPVPECGY
They get sewn into the band of the wig, and clip under the wig cap onto your hair to help hold the wig on.
You could get some flats. Something like these (searched "women's flats" on amazon, this was the first listing):
You can get them in whatever color you want. If you're using leaves or mushrooms, anything that attach to your body, that indicate it's theme better, you could always add some to the shoes to help "hide" that they are just basic flats.
Black t shirt should be easily found in Walmart or target. Might have to check the craft shirts. Could also probably find on Amazon. I don't know what other criteria you have but these should be similar enough
Red jacket after very brief search
Pants after brief search
There's something called finger cots that can be put on/removed. I'm not sure how comfortable it would be, but maybe would work.

I would just say small trinkets/props of popular characters. I remember I cosplayed 'Elizabeth' from 'Bioshock:Infinite' and I found an awesome 3D printer pattern for 'salts' (an in-game item) but Where I live there's no 3D printers around and no one sells the actual product.

Yes it is Arkham HQ. Shoe cream is old fashioned polish. This is what I used https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00066J09A/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_Hsk.tb1EM20XQ
If you need to go purple you should first use white scuff cover to lighten the shoe. Remember to seal your shoes with a rain and stain protective spray before wearing them too.
If you're willing to put in the effort, the gears of war website actually has a link to a few different guides for cosplaying various characters.
Makes it a hell of a lot easier than normal when you already have all the pieces / plans designed for you.
Realistically you have a very very tight time budget on this project especially if you have no experience in mask or helmet making.
That being said. You have a few options on what you can do. I'm on mobile, so I'm gonna try my best to link you places, but won't be able to as much as I'd like.
You could:
3D print one. There's someone on this sub and over on r/cosplay that did this. Granted he did draft the model himself.
Modify an Iron Man helmet. Again, there was a Teen Titan cosplay group that posted some progress pictures over on r/cosplay who used an Iron Man helmet as a base for a slade helmet. Different end result, same basic process. The helmet was maybe a little bulky, but it looked fantastic. There are several other people to do this too. If you Google "Red Hood cosplay" they should come up.
Thirdly, you can fabricate one from scratch. Generally the go to method on this one is pepakura and resin. Don't know what that is? Here are two fantastic resources everybody should know.
Their rise to fame was with halo armor, but they're still a thriving community and offer tons of resources on prop and armor building.
And www.therpf.com
A great blog/message board style website where people post progress pics, link you to different resources, and critique and comment on work people post. Also a strong, healthy, and helpful community.
But the jist of the pep-resin method is you have a paper model in which you cut out, fold, and glue together to create a 3D base in which you reinforce with resin. This is a time consuming process with a very unforgiving learning curve, so be warned.
If you wanna go this route, Google "red hood pepakura" or "red hood pdo" and download the free pepakura model viewer which can be found here:
http://www.tamasoft.co.jp/pepakura-en/
And hit those forums, youtube, and Google to proceed.
I really hope this helps, and I look forward to seeing your progress! Best of luck!
[Going off of ebay listings] $100 will get you an entry level digital nikon, but no lens included. $125 - $150 can get you a fairly decent starter camera and lens.
When it comes to photography tips here are my biggest suggestions.
For starters get familiar with the functions of your camera and it's limitations. You can read a lot more about these things, but here is the basic rundown: Shutter speed affects brightness and motion blur, Aperture affects brightness and depth of focus, ISO affects brightness and graininess.
Lighting can be a big issue for convention photography, vendor halls often have weird industrial lighting and hotel hallways can be dim sometimes. When your camera settings are not enough you can use a flash with diffuser, a tripod, or simply move to a well lit area. Also if the colors look off GIMP or photoshop will let you adjust the hue, saturation, and contrast a bit.
Framing is mostly up to you. Close up portraits omit some of the costume, while focusing more on the person. Full body shots can miss small details and tend to focus on the costume. Also try to be aware of group cosplays and people with their friends. (overlooking the second half of a duo always feels bad.)
Backdrops and posing are not top priority, but can make a good photo great. If your subject is willing you can ask them to move to a more interesting or relevant backdrop. Just keep them a few feet away from the wall, otherwise it makes the photo look flat/cramped. In addition you can always ask someone to adjust or change their pose if you think it will improve the photo, worst case they say no, best case you get an epic photograph.
Hope that was helpful, good luck.
This looks alot like the fabric to me https://www.amazon.com/Sparkly-Fabric-Chainmail-Jewelry-Making/dp/B086YCVPT3?th=1&psc=1 Googling "sparkly metal mesh" is how I found it, if you want to look for other options, some fabric stores may have it too.
Here's the one I got. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09194L7HX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_P3158492X28EDAZS0QGH?psc=1
And here's some shots I got with it https://www.instagram.com/p/CSSoWlKHd7r/?utm_medium=copy_link
I second amazon. Keep color and style vague in your search (eg search “blue” instead of “teal”, since keywords don’t get that specific on color), but make sure to include “cosplay wig” in your search and don’t buy a “party wig”.
Look at the customer reviews where there are photos to confirm it’s going to look good! Seeing lots of photos of cosplay in customer review photos is a good sign it’s quality.
Quick amazon search gave me this, which also comes in a greener teal if you prefer. $12 and prime eligible! MapofBeauty 40" 100cm Anime Costume Long Straight Cosplay Wig Party Wig (Cyan Blue) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IKCBN10/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_KbYxBb9BFADE4
Worse quality and not Prime eligible but closer to the correct color S-SSOY Women's 32" Green Long Straight Full Wigs Heat Resistant Costume Synthetic Hair Hairpieces with Oblique Bangs for Halloween Anime Cosplay Party Girl Women +Wig Cap https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073RXZHLS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_ghYxBb1485824
The first example was from searching “blue long cosplay wig” and the second was from searching “green long cosplay wig” but “teal long cosplay wig” doesn’t give many results. These usually come from China so due to differences in language, colors translate differently.
Hope this helped!
Amazon has several grey/silver/platinum lace front wigs. This one is cheap and you can search around for better options. You'll probably need to cut and style any wig you find. You can also search for what wigs Geralt of Rivia cosplayers are using. Arda Wigs has very high quality products, and if you want the widows peak they may be your best bet.

Armature wire. You will need to measure the space inside your antennae to buy the correct wire thickness. Wire hangers work, but armature wire is so much easier to work with.
I remember years and years ago when I was researching a space marine build I added this to my wishlist, may be helpful to explore it or products like it.
Generally though looking into what the stormtrooper guys use too should give you some good ideas. Lots of them use voice amps in their buckets.
Found these. Hope it helps!

https://www.amazon.com/14-Clear-Acrylic-Globe-3202-14020-003/dp/B00435MT16
You won't be able to make anything that looks as good or is as cheap as searching "clear acrylic globe" on amazon and finding the size you want.
I talked to a Mysterio Cosplayer a few months back. He bought a large, clear acrylic light cover, trimmed the hole to fit his head, then carefully sprayed the inside of it with Rustoleum Mirror Effect paint. He sprayed the side he looks through very lightly, and just enough so it looked right but he could still see through it.
Looks like a satin bomber jacket that is too big. Amazon has you covered.
Have you looked into seeing if you could secure it to something like this? You could do a couple of them, if needed, and just glue the flower to one side of the clip.
I've actually run into this roadblock on the exact same project. If you're still having trouble with paint-on-leather, I suggest ditching it and purchasing gold faux leather .
I've purchased from this exact listing and I highly recommend it.
This what I wear, I recommend against it because plate really should be tailored to you.
See if you can replicate something like this, equally effective and good and would fit
http://www.kultofathena.com/product.asp?item=SNSA9503&name=Splinted+Greaves+-+16+Gauge
Put the splints on something like this
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00YHPGHGU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I would go the spidey route of perforated plastic (mesh style) or metal mesh(splatter pan)
i plan on using 12v led strips, and how would the power transfer from the power supply to the LEDs like what do you hook to what or solder on to what these were the LEDs i planned on using but i wouldn't know where to solder the LEDs on the actual supply https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NSKSSDK/ref=psdc_15704871_t3_B006LW2NJM
I have one of these battery packs which powers electronics in one of my costumes. It's 12v. I had to solder a 5.5mm lead into my electronics to attach to the battery pack but that was easy enough. Then it was a matter of switching the battery on and off to power my electronics.
Make sure you wire your LEDs not to blow if you're using less than 12 volts.
This battery holds a long charge. https://www.amazon.com/Talentcell-Lithium-Amplifier-Multi-led-indicator/dp/B00MHNQIR2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1489500493&sr=8-2&keywords=led+battery+pack
I have also wired LEDs to 9v battery leads and then soldered in a toggle switch to turn on and off.
Found this: SSLR Men's Woolen Blend Hooded Toggle Coat (Large, Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MQU1YQB/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_clxRybW69EYQD
Issue is, with this style of coat, the toggle coat, they are primarily woolen coats, so not so good for cosplay since they do get warm.
Budget I am trying to stay reasonable as this is my first build so I don't want to over-complicate anything. I was looking at these for the lighting https://www.amazon.com/Prime-Fairy-Star-String-Lights/dp/B00JT3DDJO so I could literally just string them across the top of the piece and since the entire top will be covered with detail work I can hide the wires under that.
Interfacing really sounds like it will be useful for you if you want that extra detail for each character. This would allow you to iron on other fabrics ontop of your sections. For Garrus, blue 2x2 with a gold strip on it maybe? You could even cut out the archangel logo and iron it on there. Same with N7. It's real easy to use. Wrex could be a red 2x2 with some black on it, you could even do it in the shape of his facial scars or some such, Samara's headband thing as well? Cerberus logo etc etc. You'd just iron the interfacing onto the fabric, flip it over, draw on your pattern, cut it out then remove the interfacing on the fabric, apply to your 2x2 square and iron it on.
If you don't want to shell out for custom fabrics for Tali & Miranda you could use this as a guide. It shouldn't be too hard. You could even use this method for adding detail to the other sections. (Zaeed's tattoo?)
I think you'll be hard pressed to find say a selection of cotton fabrics which can represent each character without some customisation.
Wholeheartedly suggest getting assistance from your Grandma :) Mine helped me make my first cosplay costumes and is eager to sculpt a turian head for a mask once I've gotten confident enough with EVA foam to make the armour. They always have good advice!
Seems like Umarex has a Single Action Army airgun model. No idea if you can acquire it in Germany though.
Amazon link https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00RPPFWIS/ref=twister_B00XRJ52K4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 AirsoftGI link http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=21675
Comes in blued steel look and nickel. Seems like you'll have to paint the handle, though.
Oh ya! I know Evil! He's a super nice guy, and very talented. Whew, mirror finishes are hard. Really, though, they almost have to be hard- there's a reason you almost never see soft things with mirror finishes.
The reason you're getting the weird goo from the montana paints is that they're acrylic based, and Krylon is enamel based. Can't sand acrylic! However, you COULD try spraying the Montana, then spraying several layers of enamel sealer on top of that, then sanding that. It's not guaranteed, but if you're careful, you might be able to pull it off.
If you really, REALLY want to have a mirror finish, what you can do is mold some clear plastic around your 3d printed part and then spray paint the reverse with a mirror/looking glass spray:https://www.amazon.com/Krylon-Looking-Glass-Silver-Like-Aerosol/dp/B003971BAY
Hope this helps!
I would suggest getting plastic globes instead of styrofoam. Like these: https://www.amazon.com/Naice-Christmas-Ornament-Plastic-Fillable/dp/B013I48KA6/
In the future best to check if your paint is compatible with the surface you are spraying!
Oh wow, you chose a complicated first project! Good for you to dive into!
So: if you're going full-on build-everything-yourself, you'll need some acryllic (also known as plexiglass) sheets, more accurately called 'continuous cast acrylic'. Check out tapplastics.com to see different kinds. You can heat that in your oven (on loooow settings) to soften it, and then push/drape that around a mould.
It's hard to tell how curved that face shield is, but I would actually recomend modifying a face shield. They're also great because they'll come with head straps already attached, so you can sculpt the details right on it and then have all the adjustment stuff done for you. Like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001VXXUWK/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_x_XoXdybJ01G0FE and then if you choose 'shade 5' it will give you that smoked look.
Edit: I suppose you could also try a leafing paint! Never seen someone do it on foam, but you would probably be able to polish it following instructions online for those products:
https://www.amazon.com/Plaid-Liquid-Leafing-0-75-Ounce-Classic/dp/B003W0AAJG
Hm, I'm not sure. I mean, you could maaaaaaaybe modify this mask with a much different pant job perhaps?
I would get blue tights for the legs instead of painting them, it will save time and money. As for the face, I'm a big fan of mehron paradise aq makeup for body paint. Here is a very basic cardigan on amazon. You would probably have good luck at thrift stores for that sweater as well.
I have bought all my wigs on Amazon. I don't know if you're looking for an exact replica or a really high quality wig, but if you just want something cheap, I have had great success with this brand Map of Beauty. Depending on the size of your head, the inner cap can be a bit snug, but I have been happy with all of mine.
MapofBeauty 12"/30cm Role Playing Cosplay Short Wig (Light Blue) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JXDO2Y0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_AnaGxbNHWNCP4
Ah okay, think I kinda getcha now. Yeah a harness akin to a shoulder holster should be able to offer some support. Far as that goes, so would some suspenders under the rest of the attire with a back strap for increased tension.
Run a strap (maybe two if given the weight) up your arm to attach to the strap going over your shoulder and I'd think that'd do you fine.
EDIT: Dunno if you can fit it under your clothes, but maybe something like this also? http://www.amazon.com/Suspenders-Support-Bodybuilding-Lifting-Training/dp/B008QXOYVE
I know you can buy pilot helmets online, at least the main helmet portion.
I debated getting one of these for a Destiny Hunter cosplay:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FZEN5E4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_zIkzxbHP8DPD3
That and the breather mask shouldn't be too difficult to find, and stickers from a shop would help if you're keeping it NASA themed. Good luck!
I bought a bunch of these LED strips designed for lighting up your school locker, when Staples was having a clearance on them. They're long strips of very flat LEDs with adhesive tape on the back, and they're wired in such a way that you can cut the strip to whatever length you like. They do work on a AA (as I recall) battery pack, so there would be a wire to deal with coming out the back of the glasses that you'd have to deal with. A green sheet of translucent plastic would act as a filter to make them the right colour.
Anyway, if this isn't the right solution, maybe it'll inspire something that will work. Good luck!
one of my friends used clear coat to make it more shiny but I just used plastidip and then the color that I wanted and it worked pretty well
here is an amazon link to stuff we used it comes in different colors as well.
You might be able to avoid the soldering if you go with a preassembled kit like this or that which is already wired up to a battery case.
Just search online for "el wire kit" or "el tape kit." Also, if you have a month or more before production, you can save some dollars by ordering the kits from China at electronics sites like bangood.com gearbest.com or others. Just be sure you can allow a good 3-4 weeks for delivery plus time to hack it into your Sting prop.
Good luck.
If you're willing to be less screen accurate and combine elements of his ROTS and AOTC costumes, these unofficial replicas are much more affordable and are actually pretty nice for cosplay boots (I have a pair): http://www.amazon.com/Funtasma-Pleaser-Mens-Halloween-Walker-130/dp/B001AH8FBS/ref=pd_srecs_cs_309_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=0B74KSK1S7Q8KSGP4653
They're surprisingly comfortable and sturdy too (not that I'd recommend wearing them everyday, but for wearing for a day at a con or a ren fest every now and then they'll hold up just fine). I wear US 10.5 shoes and got the medium, so the sizing is pretty accurate as well. You can remove the ridged bit held on by the belts to make them look more accurate.
Thanks for looking about a bit. Length does seem to be the issue here. I guess I could try to sort of fudge the lower half with something akin to a skirt, but'll I'll keep looking around for taller duster coats.
EDIT: I found this to be similar enough, however my search continues.
I bought this one awhile back but wasn't too impressed. The color is nice and it doesn't look overly shiny though. I also managed to make the ponytail thing in the back look a lot better than the example. I could just be overly picky. Did that wig work well for you?
Can you wire an amplifier into the speaker circuit without the phone detecting it? I use the board from one of these megaphones from Harbor Freight in my Babadook and some other costumes. It is REALLY loud, and can run off a 4-cell "AA" pack for a while. Babadook had the speaker from a small radio in the hat, wired to one of these amps. The sound effect was stored on a recordable sound module for a stuffed animal, like this . I just bit it to activate the sound.
This is the one I'm looking at, mostly because I've read good things about that brand. Also it's smooth in the front, so no funky lines like I've seen on some. Do you have a personal preference?
Or possibly this one. These two seem to have the best reviews.
Profile shot looks a lot like ugg boots.
There are a few different routes to go; 1.) is the use of white body paint and a lot of shoe polish for the for head, 2.) would be to reference here. The scars are little more tricky I bet a lot people would recomend spirt gum to creat the scars. And to top it all off I would get this so you can ride to Valhalla shiney and chrome.
Hey, here are some basics for foam crafting. Id suggest using Foamies to do the glove. I think your best bet is to find a glove that is the right color, and lenght, and then start gluing the Foamies onto it.
His elbows/knees look like they have simple compression style sleeves/braces on them like this:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00XWDYM06?psc=1
You can find more by just googling knee sleeve/elbow sleeve. Not 100% sure that's what he's got, but it looks similar.
I would start with a cardboard/paper mache base and then sculpt the rest out of Paperclay. It's very lightweight and relatively cheap.
The other two users suggested some other hats. Do you think those would work? This looks the most promising to me.
Any tips on how to style it?
I actually have an AMA thing going on over in another thread.

Its EVA foam, specifically "industrial garage mats".
I cut the foam into plates and then glue them together using DAP industrial adhesive.
These are the pants I use, for example.
Look for something like this at a craft store. You can get it from Amazon, but shipping sketchy chemicals is sketchy, and your craft store person might be able to guide you better.
There's all kinds of details, though. That product might not cast clear. It might shrink inside the glass. It might expand and break the glass. The color might not take the way you expect. You might need to use their dyes...
You might have to use their more expensive product. I'm afraid I don't have a lot of personal experience with either -- I've only used the second one, and not really successfully. I am pretty sure that the more expensive one will cast clear, and will shrink slightly. But you should be able to glue the slug down. But at almost $30 a bottle, you've already sort of broken the budget.
Yup!
You paint it on kind of like you would with Mod Podge.
This is the brand I usually buy: http://www.amazon.com/ToBeInStyle-Womens-Footless-Elastic-Legging/dp/B008DKUN9C/ref=sr_1_18?ie=UTF8&qid=1425921461&sr=8-18&keywords=colored+leggings
Just hot glue the the tights to the foot of the shoe and trim! good luck :)

These are big enough to fit over glasses, or at least my glasses. They might sort of fit your concept a bit. I'm planning on modding the pair i just recently bought so one of the lenses acts like an eyepatch over my glasses. For a steampunk look. But im not sure if im going to as i feel they're kind of neat as they are. Just an idea/thought

Look into galoshes. I checked out the A7L boots you mentioned and I think these might work out for you. I believe you can get similar pairs for cheaper from Walmart or another big box retailer.
If you use Android, you can try the 12-voice voice changer in our app:
For Darth, Kylo, Bane, Batman, C3P0, Stormtrooper type voices. Just plug in earphones or an external speaker (or aux cable to your gaming hardware - just keep volume low initially on your android device), and then click Record. Whatever is being recorded will be echoed to the aux cable as well. You can adjust Effects - Volume etc. - or Effects - Voice Changer or the 12-voice voice changer.
Note that the app has no ads, but the MP3 and voice changer part are paid features.
Click Menu - Help - Cosplay for help setting up cosplay speakers etc. It has links and pictures of the various microphone and speaker setups that are popular with cosplayers.
Click Menu - Contact for help.

For a Kylo Ren voice, try:
Space Villain Voice Changer (formerly known as Kylo Ren Voice Changer)
And for Darth Vader voice:
Darth Vader Voice Changer DTVC (click Adjust - Voice Depth - set to minus 1 if you have a deep voice, set to 3 or 4 for ladies)
Caveat: these are not real-time, so we hope to get to that soon. Another problem with android is the high latency (which is improving), when compared to iOS based apps. So if you find a good iOS app with real-time option, that will give very good latency generally. But the problem is you won't find as a better Darth vader one on iOS - although for Kylo Ren you may be able to do with a generic voice changer with a radio type voice and some noise.
