It's not available cause its in the quick settings bar (When you fully pull down the notification bar) but download this app if you really miss it. I've had it and its so nice to have the number in the battery icon itself. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.kroegerama.android4batpercent
From what I've read, probably not. If you've ever heard of yellowing of a screen after a few months to years of use then this speeds it up. The tint in the screen may be good for your eyes, but not your phone. I reccomend a screen dimmer it doesn't yellow and you can set a similar schedule compared to Twilight
more than likely avast causing your problem. get lookout

Never EVER let your phone get that hot, its damaging to your battery, if your phone breaches 45c then shut that thing off completely, your battery is massively degraded when past anything near that point.
Z2 Play - not particularly durable, does have good battery life without a battery pack. I'm using one now, performance-wise it's a straight sidegrade from my retired Turbo 2, and it gets the battery life that the Turbo 2 got when it was new, despite having a substantially smaller battery. Desperately needs a case or mod attached because it's slippery and top-heavy. Display 'rolls off' a little at the edges so glass screen protectors will never stick perfectly.
Z2 Force - The caveats are gonna be similar,. It's slimmer, exacerbating the slipperiness and reducing battery life. Has no headphone jack, if you need one. It does have the plastic screen like the Turbo 2 and Z Force, which is shatter-proof but scratch-prone.
The other one that comes to mind is the phone I'm eagerly awaiting, the Galaxy S9 Active. I don't know if that one's gonna be available on Verizon, but I'm seriously hoping for it to be. Specs-wise, the rumors put it as basically an S8 Active updated to a SD845. It should 'officially' leak soon and release within the next couple months, if you're interested in getting a holdover phone until then.
Wrong.
You can disable it using the "screen filter" app on the playstore
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.haxor&hl=en
Turn the filter brightness off and tick "tenable softkey backlight"
It creates a widget on your home screen, so if you renamed it using nova launcher to "Turn off backlight keys" you have a permanent solution there :)
Have you tried downloading them from the play store again?
Verizon App

Android Auto

That's not true. Get the app screen filter and there's an option to enable softkey backlight. Uncheck the box, keep brightness at 100%. Tada
Edit: ok I misunderstood. Yes the physical keys will still be there but without the backlights they're much less noticeable
I only use a couple..
Burnt toast
Exchange bypass (fuck the police)

I know it's not xposed, but plug for rom toolbox pro. It's my go-to, and with full root now, it offers a ton of great tweaks. fonts, app management, buildprop editor, kernel tweaks... you name it.
If priority mode doesn't give you what you want, Light Flow will let you do some fancy custom notification rules.
Use this works with Textra
I had the same troubles with syncing Facebook contacts when I first got the phone in November. Ever since, I've used Sync.Me, and it's worked out great for me.
Other than that, the phone's worked out very well.
You need the Google Launcher; the one that the Turbo uses by default is styled very similarly as it, but doesn't have the "OK Google" feature that you're wanting

The turbo was the last or one of the last handsets made by Moto before Lenovo took over.
The Mokee site. http://www.mokeedev.com/en/
However, it looks like the site is down right now. A few weeks ago when I went to the site on mobile chrome and clicked on the download page, it prompted me with the typical "this page may contain malware"(forget specific message.)
edit: Unless if the ROM on the site and baybutcher's ROM are not the same ROM?
ok while searching it seems it might be android studios development thing? Android Software Developer Kit (ADK) or ADB? https://developer.android.com/studio/index.html#downloads ? or just the command line tools right below it? I'm on Win 7.
Is this a safe place to get it? http://www.android.gs/install-android-sdk-adb-windows/
> The camera
I've found that the google camera app takes far better pictures than the stock one, though it also takes a bit longer to process each shot you take.
I would recommend the UAG cases. Nice big rubbery conners, hard shell for back, raised front edges so screen never touches when placed screen side down. I also really like the aesthetics of these cases. I have the transparent red case. A little pricey for a cases, but has saved me from several potentially devastating corner drops. I wouldn't bother with a screen protector.

PortaPow 6.5ft 20AWG Charge+Sync Micro USB Cable for Android, Qualcomm Quickcharge 2.0 Compatible https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00VIJN0CM/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_VzVzwbJYXX0G9
I've had so many problems with this phone and usb cables. This one has been perfect for a few months and I highly recommend it.
if it's any consolation, my fiancee has the turbo and we decided that she should get this case for it:
http://www.amazon.com/OtterBox-Commuter-Motorola-Droid-Turbo/dp/B00P6PTVEU
Probably the highest rated case we saw based on the amazon reviews and I've had good experience with Otterbox. I still have a samsung galaxy 3 I got in 2011 and have dropped it once or twice. Still in great condition.
EZOPower Extra Long 10ft Black Micro-USB 2in1 Sync and Charge USB Data Cable for Samsung, HTC, LG and Other Any Micro USB Powered Device https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CIGOW7G/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_vOOcwbHNF19R9
I use this. It's 10 ft long incredibly durable rubber coating, I run this thing over daily with my wheelie chair and it survives like a champ.
Well I can tell you right now this one included in this two pack: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MAJTTYC
Doesn't work at all with power. And considering it seems to be exactly the same one as 100 other ones, I'm not sure where we could even look to find a power supported one.
It's totally baffling to me too, my friend.
I have the Amazon screen protector.. totally Chinese with bad translation instructions and shipped from China. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00P8TSA6E/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Is it perfect? No. Is it better than a non-glass screen protector? Absolutely. No screen protector is going to protect from hard drops, but that is not the point. Now I do not worry as much about my keys or coins or anything else. It has a nice oleophobic coating and my fingers slide nicely on it when using the phone, way better than alternative screen protectors. I have an Incipio case and it fits fine.
7.5/10, would buy again.
Agreed that Anker's are good, I have a 3,000 mAh one that I carry for emergencies.
If I know there will be a period of a few days where I may not have an outlet to charge from, this beast is great.
24,000 mAh and 3 usb ports with different max outputs (2.4A, 2A, and 1A) as well as a white LED light.
It's not terribly large for the capacity and the price is right.
I got one for me and one for my mom for Christmas.
This looks pretty decent for showing the Ballistic Nylon, but it reminds me of those really janky droid Razor plastic cases. Is it plastic? Maybe it looks better in person. I just ordered the Driztronic case for my BN.
http://www.amazon.com/Diztronic-Flexible-Motorola-Metallic-Version/dp/B00QFTMRYC
I have this case. I like it it fits really well and it is slim. Obviously not as tough as an Otterbox but for normal use I think it will work out fine.
They released one that is BN compatible: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00QSONZM2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
But what I've found out is that the battery cut out is incorrectly cut and does not work with the included cable. Happy to post pics if people are interested.
Prior to MM we all used this app to enable the percentage inside the battery icon. When MM came out with that as an option inside the UI tweaker the bug showed up which displays BOTH.
To fix you can disable via the app and reboot. Then re-enable via the UI menu to get back to just having the percent inside the battery icon.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.baloota.dumpster&hl=en Try this app. It claims to work without root. I doubt it could do anything, but the reviews seem positive, and it's worth a shot.
It's not from Nova. IIRC, launchers cannot make changes to the status bar icons (Edit: I'm referring to icons on the right, ex: next to the actual battery icon, similar to how the Droid Turbo 2 has it). The app by kroegerama to enable battery % inside the battery icon is an exception, as that enables native battery % that's built into Android (KitKat to be exact), but was hidden.
Is this a custom ROM?
Edit: if your phone is rooted, use this app.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration
Follow the steps in the app. Then discharge it til it's dead. Then let it charge all the way. Then turn it phone on. That should do the trick.
How hot does it get exactly? You can use this app to check temperatures.
My phone gets fairly warm while quick charging, about 45°C, which makes sense if you consider the amount of energy being pumped into the phone.
The quick charger has multiple charging speeds, and it automatically detects the highest supported speed. Maybe your old cable was slightly damaged or something, making the charger switch to a lower charging rate.
Faster charging = more heat but as long as temperatures don't go over 55°C for long periods, everything should be fine.
I haven't had this problem on this phone, and some claim its work is dubious, but when I've run into this type of problem previously, GServiceFix has corrected whatever was going on. If you don't like it, find another program that does similar things, or look up how to do what its doing manually.
Last resort is always a Factory Reset.
For recovery, I used TWRP Manager and went straight to TWRP 3.0.0-0, which it downloaded for me. It seemed to work well. Flashify has been around longer, and has a more established reputation, though. YMMV.
I was dealing with this earlier today actually. But I believe I finally figured it out. I think it has something to do with the Access Point Name (APN) settings. For some reason, I don't think there is an actual option in the settings that takes you to the APN page. But there is still a way to access it and hopefully, fix the problem.
So, start by downloading this app. It works as a shortcut to the seemingly "hidden" APN settings on the Turbo.
After getting to the page, click the drop-down menu in the upper right and select "reset to default."
Now, click on the row that is selected by default. It should be something like "VZWINTERNET." You should now see a list of settings for that particular APN.
Go to this website and fill in the settings on your phone to match with what is on the website EXCEPT for the first two settings on the page ("Name" and "APN") which you can just leave as whatever the default values were.
Now, just back out of the APN settings completely and that should be it (assuming it is only a problem with the APN settings).
Doing this seems to have helped with my MMS problems, so I hope it'll help with yours as well. Let me know if you need me to clarify anything or explain something better
>I switched my number from an AT&T iPhone
.
>Skip to August 2015 when I get added to a group MMS
Group MMS is a known issue for anyone that has switched from an iPhone. Apple claims to have fixed these problems, but they only fixed it for individual messages, the problem still plagues group messaging. This is a problem created by Apple, and can only be fixed by Apple. Problem is they don't care.
Refer to this recent thread from /r/Android:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/40np11/after_almost_18_months_of_being_on_android_i/
EDIT:
In regards to this part of your comment:
>I decide to switch to the Messaging app, the group MMS seemed to work just fine but the app was miserable and i don't think there was a way to turn the notifications for a group message off
There are actually TWO ways to turn off notifications for a group message thread in the Messenger app.
Method 1:
Method 2:
Either of these methods will turn off notifications for that group message thread only. You will continue to receive notifications for other message threads.
I understand what your asking for. I've looked my myself, I have yet found a solution. Since then I've settled on KDE connect: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.kde.kdeconnect_tp
The only other thing I can think of doing of messing with a Windows VM to see if that would work.
My mistake.. Its system and cache and Dalvik cache...
Download a battery calibration app from the app store to fix that... I use this one.. I believe you are supposed to run this anytime u switch a ROM
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration
I used Mr. Number, great blocking app, even has a database of numbers that get blocked and comments of people who blocked it tell you who it was and what happened during the call.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mrnumber.blocker&hl=en
Had the same issue myself - Unfortunately the motorola camera and google camera apps don't have an option in the settings to have the volume keys trigger the shutter - you'll have to use a 3rd party camera app like SelfiShop Camera
You can download the Google music manager on your desktop computer, which will upload all of your media to the Google music app. This stores all your music in the cloud and allows you to play it via streaming or download it to your droid.
You will have to search on the play store for a banking app.
The default camera so in the turbo is pretty nice. Definitely use the moto app to enable gestures. It's is a must for parents. Kids do not still for long.
Try swiping using the Google keyboard for text input.
Try a live wallpaper in using this one right now https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=wave.paperworld.wallpaper
Download a launcher like Nova launcher
Download a new icon pack.
If your looking for new things/apps to try I recommend apphunt.
Also checkout r/android, r/androidapps,
Lastly go to phone settings, system updates, check for updates. To make sure your running Android 5.1
Have fun!
I use an app called Relax and Sleep. It has a lot of nice sounds and you can do a lot with it.
Check it out here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mizusoft.relaxandsleep
There's also a new version that I haven't tried yet but I'm about to. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mizusoft.relaxandsleeptwo
RetroArch is the one true emulator.
That case looks great though. I'm looking into one now. I have an 8bitdo NES30, but need something like this.
