So that would be called unilateral color vision deficiency. It is very abnormal and not related to typical forms of CVD where the opsins (proteins in the cones) are affected. It is often acquired, due to some kind of trauma that affected one eye (e.g. Staring in a laser) or a tumor on an optical nerve or the like. In your case, obviously something different. It is quite strange to have congenital unilateral CVD.
On top of that, what you describe isn't really typical symptoms of CVD, which is color discrimination. This is diagnosed through what you are probably familiar with as Ishihara tests. If you want to test yourself, I recommend ColorBlindCheck for Android. Do it once with each eye. I imagine you will come back normal both times.
What you describe is closer to a failure of your eyes/brain to perform chromatic adaptation. Honestly, I've never heard of anything like this.

Thought it would be good to post this here, something a little different.
Have you ever seen this? http://www.cnet.com/au/how-to/diy-macro-lens-for-your-phones-camera/ I've tried it once, it doesn't get results as amazing as your pic, but it's a cheap solution to a macro lens haha
Hello =] I just got a Nikon D5300 and bought a cheap macro extender kit to use with the 18-55mm kit that came with the camera, the d5300 has a flip out screen so i flipped it over so i could see what i was doing on the screen whilst shooting it. For the unnatural photo i just used the camera's flash, for the natural l sat beneath a skylight. i hope this helps =]
They have them on Amazon! This is the one I was thinking of getting for my camera after reading these comments.
Haha That's actually what mine would look like if I didn't pluck. Beautiful peepers btw. Don't lie, you really just wanted to show them off.
Honestly, it makes such a big difference in how you, or at least me personally, look. Despite my few hairs, I really have gotten many compliments on my brows.
I'm sure there are tons of tutorials on how bros do their eyebrows. From what I gather, you wanna focus on finding the happy medium between no eyebrows and a caterpillar on your face. And my brother actually plucks on the reg, and he's as hetero as they come.
My last suggestion, if you decide to go the plucking route is to get a good set of tweezers. I have these in blue and they are a dream.
Not dumb at all! :) I was using Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express in Glam Black. In the past some of the tubes haven't been the greatest, so I also use CoverGirl LashBlast Fusion in Very Black.
