Obviously it's not possible with the current generation, but it seems like it wouldn't be that hard to implement. If the case itself had bluetooth connectivity, you could theoretically use signal strength to locate it. A few android apps like this one claim to do this for any bluetooth device but I can't say how well they work.
- Contact: Purpose for checking contact information when receiving a call to use voice notification function
- Phone: Purpose of checking the version update information of the device
This is from their Play Store description.
If you're on Android and have already tinkered with the EQ options in the Wearables app, maybe give Wavelet a try. I almost returned mine last week, but after playing around with Wavelet for a while got them to a place where I really, really like the way they sound.
This is if your Android phone is rooted, not the buds.
Viper4Android has options like EQ.
If you aren't rooted Wavelet allows EQ without root. I use it to tone down the harshness in the mids on the Buds+, it works well for this.
You can use one of the headphone profiles it has built in to normalize specific headphones to a more neutral curve, using AutoEQ. The one for the Buds+ IMO reduces the bass shelf too much, I have a modified profile that just leaves them alone under 1k and only applies the AutoEQ above that.
An alternative would just be to use the graphic EQ and drop 2.4k and 4.8k by around 2-3db. This a small tweak that doesn't really impact the overall sound signature that much but does take the edge off the upper-midrange/lower-treble shoutiness.
None of this is necessary, you can just use them as is or just use the EQ presets in Wearable. This is if you really want to get into tweaking, for me the Buds+ is really very nearly there but is just a little too harsh in around the 2-5k range.
Not 100% if you can get it for Buds Pro, but I run a Spiegen rugged case on my Buds+ and it protects the case really well
I just did. I'm thinking for a laptop computer skin. Through my shopping it looks like VVIVID works similarly, but costs less.
For my uses, $10 is worth giving it a shot. I already have a heat gun. Thanks for the heads-up.
Memory Foam Tips für Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro, keine Silikon Ohrstöpsel Schmerzen, Anti-Rutsch Ersatz Ohrpolster, passen in die Ladehülle, reduzieren Lärm Ohrhörer, 3 Paar (S/M/L, Grau) https://www.amazon.de/dp/B091YDNKPK/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_SF5HPK7J7GEFQAV4BA1P?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I went with the Diofit ones from Amazon.
They work perfectly. I had to previously push them so far into my ear to get them to lock in they hurt. Eventually my ear had learned and sort of reshaped themselves. But after a couple of hours they would start feeling sore again. But after another Redditor suggested these, I gave them a shot. Hands down game changing. I no longer have to press them into my ear as far. I liked the fact that they came with 3 different sizes in the package. I had seen that others required you to know what size you needed in the first place. I ended up using a medium tip in my left and a small tip in my right. I actually wore them at work for so long I almost ran the battery to its limit! The new found seal also helps with the sound. The bass feels so much more awesome. The ANC got bumped up to a whole new level too. With ANC at max with these tips while mowing, I had to constantly feel if the mower was still running lol.
I can say my day 1 review is excellent! I just went for a 3 mile run in 90°, humid weather. I only adjusted them because I thought they were slipping and I didn't want to lose them while going over a bridge, but when I touched them they were perfectly in place. Every time I touched them just to check how stable they were, they were snug in place, no discomfort. VERY impressed. The standard tips have to be adjusted every minute while running for me https://www.amazon.com/dp/B098RLBGNY/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_XDHPJKTTNHRRX7V4GVZG?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Ah sorry I didn’t include those details. I replaced them with foam tips that helped significantly, but they still had some getting used to. Let me find them right nowdiofit Premium Designed for Samsung SML Eartips/Galaxy Buds Pro Eartips - Black SML (Foam) These are the ones I got. They work well and do their job with the buds.
Maybe find a basic pair of earplugs with case included. Then you can just use the case for your buds. Example: https://www.amazon.com/Reusable-Silicone-Ear-Plugs-Waterproof/dp/B07RDK9V58/
I use Azla SednaEarfit Xelastec (AirPods Pro version). They stay in like they were glued in. These are expensive tips, ($24) but they are very very good. They are made of a TPE that warms with body temperature and moulds to your individual ear shape.
I picked up these when I ordered my pros. My right ear is a little smaller and I always have trou le finding a bud that fits right in it. With the silicone tips, it just kept sliding out after a few seconds no matter what size I used. I use the medium foam tip for my left ear and the small foam tip on my right ear now and everything works so much better. It also helps if you wear them right. I hated the way they felt at first, they hurt like crazy after a while but I played around some more and I think I've got it. Samsung says to have the outer vent straight down which would make the oval go horizontal in my ear, but if I twist it back a bit and make it vertical instead it feels so much better. I'd definitely recommend these tips though. The plastic inside adds some stability and they're small enough to fit in the case still.
If you are looking for a long term solution I would just go straight to silicone. Foam usually doesn't last all that long
I've been using the dio fit silicone https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08S32WH4Z/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_BY94W0W9XMSGW851E1J9
The ear tips on TWEs are generally shorter, so it's no surprise that there are more people saying they're consistently unable to keep them in.
I'll try out a large cp100, see if it's good. Else, I'll just stick with my azla tips.
As for the case-closing problem, there's a shell case that makes sure the case doesn't pop open. Think it's probably a good buy in this case.
These... they were a little more expensive but the only pair made specifically for the pros at the time I bought them.
diofit Premium Designed for Samsung SML Eartips/Galaxy Buds Pro Eartips - Black SML (Foam) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08S32WH4Z/ref=cm_sw_r_u_apa_glt_fabc_1W5XP4BSM30KS3SG6J47?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I got the diofit foam tips in March. They worked really well, but now the buds are coming out of the tips when I remove them from my ears, so like most foam tips, they don't have much longevity.
https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08S32WH4Z/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_ZH5862KTQZ8KYDRPQ2M6
After making sure you have a good seal with the ear tips, if you're on Android maybe give Wavelet (or another EQ app; Wavelet's just the one I'm familiar with) a try.
I had the same issue with the buds pro so i invested in these ear tips.
diofit Premium Designed for Galaxy Buds Pro SML Eartips/Galaxy Buds Pro Eartips - White SML (Silicone) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08S3CJ38K/ref=cm_sw_r_u_apa_glt_fabc_CVMR2FW15XHZFHPKRSKA?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I got the silcone one and have been happy with them but the same company makes a foam one. I would say its worth the investment to keep the buds pro.
Would probably recommend these as they are designed specifically for the buds pro and also come in multiple sizes.
You can get Samsung Wearable app here if your phone is compatible. I'm not sure about it being intentional or not but they should definitely connect in Galaxy Wearable
Not the same as OP's original case, but for anyone looking for one that ships in the USA & is compatible with the Pros/Lives + wireless charging there's this case
I like spin fit, they stay on better than the original. The spin fit though I feel reduce the sound quality a little. Foam, I don't want to buy because you have to clean them after every use it seems like. I used foam on my older Jabra 65t. The comply memory foam seems to be my favorite, I think it's the same as memory foam.
I just purchased these, they say they are memory foam but from the pics they look like comply foam. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B091Y4C5RM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_B5KHB6JQNA94HQ58KJQR?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
The spinfit medium tips get sucked onto the buds stems and loose suction. The large ones fit but the port hole is off centered on mine and I think that's why the sound quality is worse with them, some of the highs dissappear.
If you find a good fit, they will be amazing. I almost wish Samsung made an extra large silicone tip for my larger ears. I think dio fit has an Xtra large option I might try. Also, I wish someone would release like a rubber fitment around the buds pro, almost like a silicone sleeve that would not block any microphones or sensors and still allow the buds to be charged in the case. It might be possible almost like the galaxy buds plus small wing tips.
The buds pro are a great pair of ear buds, and it's a shame they didn't get the fit right for most people. Mine are constantly loose after moving my head around, chewing, or yawning. I hope these tips help when I receive them.
I got the UAG case, definitely not a dust/lint magnet, and definitely protective and a bit bulky, but I like it well enough. Got it on tigerdirect for $20 plus tax, going for $30 on Amazon:https://smile.amazon.com/URBAN-ARMOR-GEAR-Protective-Detachable/dp/B08MWY7PYM/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=uag+buds+case&qid=1619811671&sr=8-3
No extra one here, but Amazon sells them. This one is more expensive than the others, but better rating though.

I've experience similar issues with fit, but only have had them actually fall out while I was jogging. I just bought these foam tips at the recommendation of someone else on Reddit and they'll be here today. Hopefully they help the fit, otherwise I may have to return these buds :/

There are all kinds available, in different amounts. The ones in a jar do a great job on your keyboard, or car dashboard.
I received this case before I received the buds, I absolutely love the locking case. No more searching for buds on the floor when the case comes open.
I got the purple one because I felt like having a cute color for my headphones this time and I got immediately two scratches on my case.
So it makes sense why your case would be this banged up...
After the scratches, I immediately went to Amazon and bought this clear case:
https://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Ultra-Hybrid-Designed-Galaxy/dp/B08LKS2N86
And I've found it works really well. It fits tightly which makes it a bit hard to take off but it never falls off and protects my case. And I also decorated this case with Kuromi nail art so now its double cute on top of the already cute purple color.
Copped these and completely saved the buds 2 for me. Was gonna get rid of them unitl i was recommended these.
I loved the battery life of the pluses/ I wish I never would have "upgraded" and gave them away...
You can try here.
Only fix is to buy an audio-only USB adapter, it fixes all the issues that Microsoft/Samsung have yet to do. Several brands work, such as Avantree DG80 or this one here below.
https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Transmitter-Wireless-Connecting-Headphones/dp/B09WJXZRLW/ref=psdc\_172504\_t1\_B09321CC7P?th=1
For calls it eliminates all issues, you will sound great versus sounding like youre in a can.
If you've exhausted all other options, cleaning and making sure you're charging correctly, replacing the batteries is easy and there are a lot of YouTube videos that show you step by step how to do it. Here's the link for the batteries. https://www.amazon.com/HQRP-Soundport-Headphones-Bracelets-Necklaces/dp/B0851NMLW8
No. None of the Galaxy Buds are good at reducing mid-high frequencies. Just get a pair of concert earplugs; they're specifically designed to attenuate noise evenly across all frequencies, so won't change how instruments sound while reducing overall volume.
I would try the smallest size of the foam tips from comply, I bet the foam will help it fit in your ear canal much better than the stock silicone tips.
Thanks! That makes sense.
What about these? Spinfit CP240 L since they're flanged and wider than almost any other ones as well as taller. Just not sure it'd fit the case :S but they look like they'd seal great (like etymotics)
I don't know where you are, but I guess they're not out in the States yet—I'm in Japan and got them from Japanese Amazon. The Chinese audio site Linsoul carries them and ships to the US. It looks like Azla's a Korean company.
They're already for sale. What would be the different between those and the Sedna Standard Max? I noticed those crystal ones don't have a mesh at all which could be worrying?

Popping this here to help others. I tried everything under the sun to get my Galaxy buds to stay connected longer than 15 seconds but in the end it was just the terrible bluetooth intel chip integrated in my MSI motherboard.
On a whim I grabbed a long range USB bluetooth 5.0 dongle off Amazon. Simply had to disable the in-built intel bluetooth in device manager. Plugged this new one in and my buds were working within 30 seconds. Plug and play.
I saw a thread on this a few weeks ago that I was going to link, but I can't find it so I'll try my best here.
Someone suggested to download a DB meter app to measure the volume. (You need 2 devices for this.) I used this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.splendapps.decibel
Basically what you do is download the app on the device that the buds are not paired to. Then on the device that the buds are paired to, google "pink noise" and play it on full volume through the buds. Then one bud at a time, hold it up to the microphone of the device with the DB meter. This way you can effectively measure the volume level on each bud. If they measure differently (which I imagine they will), they are defective and return them. If they measure the same, then its most likely a you problem
Hope this helps
I also loved the fit on my Buds+ but one side stopped charging and I got the Buds 2 and I'm also frustrated with fit issues. I ordered these tips thinking that they were Buds 2 compatible, they're actually meant for Buds 2 Pro and at first it was a tough fit in the case and also they got stuck in my ear a couple of times, but they improved the fit so that they don't feel like they're going to fall out anymore, and because of the better seal the sound quality is now excellent and the noise cancellation is way better too
Not well at all
If you are looking for tips to keep the buds in your ears look at these (that is Canadian Amazon BTW) they worked good enough but I broke my ankle so I didn't test them while walking but sitting in my recliner I need had to push them back in

I had issues with the original galaxy buds pro, my ears would be irritated after using them for more than an hour. when i tested out the pro 2 i had the same issue. Before i returned it i swapped the ear tips with my original galaxy buds and they fit. i was on a 2hour call and didnt have any issues! got these from amazon. they charge just fine too

Here's the link to Sony's replacement parts catalog for the Z1R. If you're curious about the Z1R, here's the Amazon listing for that set.
Been kinda looking at these sorts of messages on here. I have been dealing with the same problems for months. I too went back to my originals...I only bought the new ones because the mic stopped working on the originals because i would sweat in them at the gym so much. I bought 3rd party ear tips that didn't help, but then literally just yesterday I decided to give these a shot, and THEY WORK! My Galaxy Buds Pro are finally staying in my ear. Seriously I have nothing to do with this company or anything. I'm just so happy that I can finally use them I figured I would let people know.

Best I've found and still use are these. Pay attention to the sizing diagram comparing these with the standard tips. It's very accurate. These tips are more solid, higher quality and have a nice grip to them.

As others are saying, some of your issues with ANC might be a problem with the fit. However, that doesn't matter if the fit is uncomfortable to begin with.
I'm in the same boat. I have the GBP, and they were uncomfortable so I set out to find something that was. What I discovered is that the current market is full of compromises; when something was comfortable, it didn't sound good. If it sounded acceptable and wasn't a pain to wear, then the ANC/transparency sucked. Or touch controls and/or app were terrible. Or they're crazy expensive for what they are.
I ended up coming back around to the GBP for now until the Pixel Buds Pro come out next week. The Galaxy Buds Pro in my opinion are the all-round best right now; great sound, great ANC/transparency, decent price if you can find a deal, small case with qi charging, acceptable touch controls. The only caveat is the fit. With these tips, I can at least wear them for a few hours.
Fingers crossed Google's PBP check all the boxes too while being more comfortable.
Something like this
Yeah they can be rather painful after a hr or so with the normal tips trying getting some foam tips and then make sure you twist them into proper positioning. Tips swap should make a world of difference.
These are great so far.

Try different tips, this is down to the tips. The stock tips are weirdly small and not great. I use Azla Crystal for Buds Pro, these are pricey but they work really well, fit great, securely, and very comfortable. A cheaper option that works pretty good (although not as good as Azla Crystal) are Feaulle H370 Latex tips.
I love my pros but I upgraded my tips. Try these they come with an adapter that helps it sit a bit deeper and more comfortably. They also have better sizes I have small ear canals and the xs/s pack made them fit 10 times better.

I recommend buying different eartips I had a similar problem the ones I recommend are from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09B48ZGJV/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_WPBZCFP67RN1BG5FBPYG?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
So when I first bought the pros the medium tips work best for me. Do sometimes because I have waxy ears and the silicone type would then get waxy there was slip out or move about a little so I have to adjust them every so often. I find if I want to stick with silicone the double flange tips work best cuz the wax won't make it past that first flange and I've worn them during physical therapy mineral adjustment never fell out didn't even feel like they're going to fall out but after a few hours they were a little uncomfortable. Also I had to regularly clean them usually I'd use a small Q-tip or soft brush for like small electronics and just brush out the double flanges and put them back on good as new.
If I want to go with memory foam I use comply and that's what I'm currently using there are a lot more comfortable than the silicone for me and I can even wear them asleep. They're very malleable but that's also the best part of them to because I can just pop them in my ear is no problem I don't have to squeeze them and roll them or anything just put them in to a small turn they're locked in not going anywhere and they are super comfortable sometimes I forget I'm wearing them. Also since I bought the one size I get three pairs of the ear tips from the box and I'm still using the first set has been like 4 months. No real break down very malleable they're not nearly as sticky but because the tips just kind of goes back to its original shape so quickly they lock in my ears pretty well.

Both of these options are sold in different sizes as well btw.

Ahh. In that case, I'd recommend a phone waterproof bag, or even plastic bags. If you want a hard case, search around on Amazon for "small waterproof case/container". I would get anything with a zipper as those aren't very water resistant. These look pretty good:

I had the exact same problem with mine. No matter which tips I used out of the box, they wouldn't stay in. I ended up getting Spinfit tips and I've not had a problem since! I hated to spend an additional $13 or whatever, but since the buds came free with a purchase, I decided it was worth it. I only use them as a backup to my Buds Pro's anyway, but still. . .
Delidigi Ear Tips for Galaxy Buds Pro, 6 Pairs Double Flange Silicone Eartips Earbuds Earplug Replacement Accessories Compatible with Samsung Galaxy Bus Pro 2021 S/M/L Size (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09DCZ5MRQ/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_Z86RDBGHMZMG5G0VKM1V?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 Just got these and I love them. They come with 2 pairs of each size. The foam ones also hurt my ears and the original ones wouldn't seal for me.
There's a chart on the Amazon listing.
I went for the M/ML/L 3 size pack, so I can figure it out between the three of them. The stock L is I think still a bit small for me. I suspect I'll want M or ML, haven't got them yet, first order had a delivery problem and I had to order again.
I've just ordered the spinfit cp1025s with the little adapter and some cp360s, maybe that'll work for you and let the comply tips hold their round shape and drive them in a little deeper, I'll let you know how I go with mine when they show up. Very True. I have had to resort to a Case with a Smart Tag+ combo. It works great if you don't mind the extra cost.
At long last the new GB pro tips are out! Check it:

That's awesome!! My coworker was having the same issue as you and for 2 months she was frustrated how it would fall out. I gave her a spare tips and she was mind blown. It's like the first time she had a proper seal ever and seeing her reaction was funny. It's so much more potential once you get a proper seal for any earbuds. Another recommendation are these, the material is similar and get just as good of a seal if you want!
I love reddit, being able to search and find posts that helps. Few redditors messaged me about these tips and glad it helps so much
I recently got the spinfit ear tip. They are working well for me, I have small ears. They buds haven't slipped or fell out of my ears so far.
