Thank you!
Had the same "problem", wanted Kaomojis so bad and when I thought they are finally here for android, they get removed after a day :|
The 8.1.2.240182043 beta version from apkmirror did it for me.
Unfortunately not, but there's a cool app; Textpand, which is a text expander, which does exactly this. I used it for years, but got used to Gboard.
Thanks, I've searched "User Dictionary Plus" on the Play Store but the app doesn't seem to be available. Is it different from Gboard's built-in import/export function?
By the way all my personal words are listed under "All languages", I had imported them from my old phone.
They have release a new version.. https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/gboard/gboard-8-1-8-242017451-release/ Ive installed it and ill keep it to the new stable update on play store (I think than on may they will finally release the version with the new UI)
I don't have it in Gboard, nor do I get a ghost, but it's a real emoji: 🥲
However it's a very new emoji, so I guess it's not in the usual fonts yet.
The only app I've found that displays it is a unicode browser app (Unicode Pad).
Ok, I found this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.access_company.graffiti_pro Not perfect, as I can't set up my own gestures, but really easy to learn if you read instructions included within this app. You can write on it without looking!
If you don't know what I was doing, I was looking if Gboard had this feature but with customizable gestures.
