Also it's perfectly reasonable to drive below the speed limit in heavy rain but for gods sake keep your hazard lights OFF unless you're actively stopped and can't move.
The HondaJet just got certified this week, so they're going to be ramping up production on it and already have a backlog of a least a year of orders. So they may be hiring. RFMD, also headquartered here, is the nation’s largest manufacturer of amplifier chips and integrated circuits for the wireless communications industry. Daimler Trucks North America is also headquartered in High Point, which is about 15-20 minutes from Greensboro, depending on where you live. And I dunno if it at all applies to you, but there are all kinds of innovative college programs/ventures opening up, from the aviation training to the Joint School of Nanoengineering, that may have job openings.
Just doing a search on Indeed may give you a better idea of which companies to target. http://www.indeed.com/q-Electrical-Engineer-l-Greensboro,-NC-jobs.html

Hey guys! We are setting up a rally in Greensboro on October 29th to get the word out about against Amendment One, which would make same-sex marriage constitutionally illegal in NC. There will be a speaker, music, and promotional materials for people to pass out.
It's really important that anyone who agrees with the cause get out and VOTE in May, as the referendum will be voted on during the primary election. Because Republicans are voting for their presidential candidate, their turnout will be much higher........ unless we take a stand!

Meetup.com has a group called GSOcial which started from a reddit post like this one. Look it up. They have weekly events, usually meeting up for trivia, board games or things like that.
There are a number of very nice, fancy restaurants to go to but since the weather has been nice lately, you could always go hiking.
http://www.everytrail.com/best/hiking-greensboro-north-carolina
Some information about local places you can hike. Maybe make it a day trip, take a lunch. Could be nice.
Waze has it, although it's still listed as closed right now, but it's on there.
EDIT: Why was I down voted for this? Lol. Anyway, Waze has updated and the new section is open on the map.

I went here and just uploaded it https://www.snapchat.com/geofilters They said that the submission needs to be something that I made, which I didn't understand since it was just an outline of some buildings that I made in paint.NET. I struggled with the current one as well. I see some people are saying it's for a current festival. I'm not even from here but I felt "gate city" should be a part of the filter.
My wife keeps putting this in the cart, and it rarely makes it all the way home. Super G has a much better price than Amazon, thankfully.

NC Works is a great resource. They have an app. Not sure if you're on Android or iPhone, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.geosolinc.ncworks
The app is good because it has maps showing where the jobs are with filters you can apply.

Or just Google NC Works
Roger that... I already confirmed by checking the historical data... you can see it here... a whole week in May under 70F. More like 8 or 9 days...

I have pretty severe tinnitus, and I've been using this white noise machine for over a decade. For reasons I can't identify, it seems to block out sound better than white noise on my phone or smart speaker.
On weatherground... The ten day forecast has a handy graph with lots of info including rain totals estimated. https://www.wunderground.com/forecast/us/nc/greensboro
Has slightly reduced for today and tomorrow from when I posted. Live updating.
I clicked the link and it just took me back to r/GSO. Were you just referring to that post from yesterday?
Yeah, seems like a good deal of us GSO redditors are lacking in the social department. There's things like GSOcial on meetup.com, an idea that was started from a thread here, but I dunno...I've been to a few meetups for pub trivia and it was okay but didn't make any lasting connections. What kinds of stuff are you into?
Thank you! I made a pawboost post and alerted several rescues and animals shelters already: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1818932071601871&substory_index=0&id=592906647537759
I also made a NextDoor post: https://nextdoor.com/p/QrCCnsg3wtcP?utm_content=b&utm_source=share&extras=NjE5MTA0NTc%3D
Please feel free to share and interact with the posts to boost visibility!
In addition to the hobby point, check out Meetup.com? I've met a lot of connections through hiking. There's also the Triad's Twenty Somethings meetup group. It's flexible where you're welcome to create your own events. (What better way to draw a group together than to host it yourself!)
Meeting someone who also shares the same interests as you helps to spark great connections!
It’s not the end of the world but I’ll be happy to end wearing it. I have to talk with it as well, I found that the best are the workout masks, they are well vented, have good enough space that I’m not eating the mask while talking.

There's different stuff each day. Last time, I got 4 x 12 packs of 7th Generation 2-ply recycled extra soft/strong. Some days they will have Charmin in stock, Cottonelle, etc.
Looks like there in an Amazon brand today that arrives next week:

Yeah, he's right. It's a router. I'm old school.
We've been happy with it.

I live in high point and love t-mobile. bought this phone at best buy for $150 back in October of last year and it's fuckin awesome. runs smooth and fast, battery life is pretty great. I have the cheapest plan, $30 for 100 minutes, unlimited texting and 5GB data plan. I use the data all the time and haven't ever reached the limit and I use textfree with voice to save minutes since I can use it when I'm on wifi. I really don't ever need that many minutes anyway honestly.
I bought this on Amazon recently. The matress comes in a vacuum-sealed bag and decompreses as soon as you open it. They have versions with either springs or memory foam. I got a full, but as you can see they have other sizes.
Yeah definitely. I think an interest and willingness to learn is really all that's required.
If you're interested in physics, I have a 1946 edition of Procedures in Experimental Physics that I can share if people are gentle with it. There are some great projects in there. Amazing book.
From an amazon review:
>This is a classic notebook, by a scientist who was tutored in the basics of draftings. Thus it is well written, and beautifully illustrated. It is wonderful. It is the kind of book that you could pick up and open a page, and dream about making your own X-Ray machine...or maybe a portable backyard radio telescope. > >Buy this one for your children. If you have a son who is pre-teen to teenage, let him imagine and explore the world around him. Let him take this book and dream the dreams of great men.
'Yes' My studio is a converted car port on the side of my house, just a big room with a concrete floor and an added bathroom.
A good primer, though it doesnt cover production molds extensively, is the book POP SCULPTURE. Full of sculpting stuff and tips that really help if your sculpt will eventually be molded. It covers molds and engineering for articulation as well, but more or less concentrates on waste molds used to get your prototype done and doe not get heavy into making molds to do your own finished product, but there are plenty of tutorials on that online. http://www.amazon.com/Pop-Sculpture-Figures-Collectible-Statues/dp/0823095223
