It's been a year since I moved out of Guam, but this one is out of the touristy areas & features Koreans. I've actually never been there (I know, I know, but really), but I think it's an example of where you could go without getting gouged. Places in Tumon charge you well over a hundred, this place should be well less than a hundred.
I prefer something like this. I ended up buying 2 so I could have identical battery packs. You'll need to replace the batteries after 3-5 years of use, depending on usage/location/etc.
The good thing about the display is that you can see incoming/outgoing power, time remaining, the number of interruptions, and errors. You can turn the display off, so it only lights up during an interruption or when you hit the button.
When you get here, don't forget that you can purchase individual batteries from Solcom/Marianas Electronics. They're the cheapest source I've found.
Having a bit of networking knowledge is helpful.
You could add range extenders, or have a separate access point with the same SSID. There's also 'Powerline' adapters as a more extreme option. It's probably not necessary in most cases though.
If you have your own router, and it's newer (my situation) broadcast both the 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz bands. 2.4 will propagate better, but has lower throughput. 2.4 is also used in microwaves, cordless devices, and other networks - so experiences a lot of traffic. Usually the 5 GHz band is less saturated.
You can name both however you want (even the same), and the device will usually bounce back and forth as needed.
Also, maybe try a free WiFi analyzer to make sure you aren't using the same band as all of your neighbors.
Another tip is to elevate the router closer to the ceiling and away from other objects (especially big metal cabinets, etc.) if possible.
You're absolutely right, I DID make an assumption there, my bad. LOL. I would also add that we're using our own personal scales here to determine "difficulty" so that can be tricky as well.
So to clarify, Pagat Cave is, according to most trail guides (I reference AllTrails as I have used them for a while) as Moderate. Mostly because it is a near 500ft climb over 1 mile. Most guides say to give 3-4 hours for that hike. https://www.alltrails.com/trail/guam/pagat-caves

I would agree that Ritidian and even Latte Stone park in Hagatna would be decent choices for anyone physically challenged.
Destiny's Landfall, Robt F. Rogers, (Revised) should be required reading for anyone here. Really explains what you're looking at and why. https://www.amazon.com/Destinys-Landfall-History-Guam-Revised/dp/0824833341

Surfshark is an affordable option and you can connect unlimited devices. Not sure about connecting to Disney+. ExpressVPN is pricier but they are top rated and have a lot of servers. They may be able to connect you to Disney+.
Yup here to say ExpressVPN has exceeded my expectations.
I’ve only ever tried VPN once or twice before but found they failed. For example, I’d stream on a US server and have access to blocked content and it’ll work fine and then suddenly stop and get blocked again.
Been using ExpressVPN on my phone, AppleTV, and laptop and there has been no change to my speeds at all... plus, I don’t ever get kicked out mid-streaming.
I’ll be buying it yearly, too.
So the SATA connections on this motherboard are weird. The cables for SATA 1/2 don't have the normal clip removal so i was unable to remove them and plug them back in. I tried to take a picture to show you what i mean.
Yes, it's the Erazer gaming desktop, specifically this one from amazon.
I have this set that I bought for a build I'm doing but I actually needed ddr4. I haven't even opened it. I'll sell it to you for $50. It's just too much hassle to return.
Also, I recommend ordering off of amazon for all your computer needs.
oh neat. i've definitely seen hobies out here... i don't get down to marina or the yacht club very often so i can't say for sure if you can rent, but it is definitely a possibility.
i know a few people who purchased dive kayaks, so that's a cool way to combine some watersports. i've seen one or two windsurfers, but kiteboarding is definitely more popular.
as for caves, check this out: http://www.amazon.com/Field-Guide-Caves-Karst-Guam/dp/1573061794
re: lobsters, i can say there are definitely slipper lobsters and probably spiny lobsters, but my buddy who goes hasn't taken me out yet. he can also catch mangrove crab, but frankly that's something you'd have to learn from one of the disappearing hardcore chamoru fishermen.
i also forgot to mention in my original reply: there is one pet store called feathers'n'fins, and you might want to call and check on the availability of saltwater aquarium supplies here. given the proximity of the real thing, however--it might not be worth the time/effort.
